Introduction

Welcome to One Piece: Grand Cruise! A Playstation VR exclusive game that allows you to enter the world of One Piece and meet with your favorite pirate crew, the Straw Hat Pirates. This game is a small love letter to fans of the hit anime/manga series, One Piece. It isn't necessarily a full fledged One Piece game, as it is very short and does not contain much material. However, fans of the show or comic will get a nice experience out of it since you get to come face to face with the main cast of the series including Luffy, Zoro, Nami, Usopp, Sanji, Chopper, Robin, Franky, and Brook.

In this game you will meet the entire Straw Hat pirate crew, chat with them (sort of), tour the Thousand Sunny, and play some fun mini-games as you watch the Straw Hat Pirates go about their usual pirate lives. While this game is definitely not a hard 100% by any means, it does involve numerous replays of the same scenes in order to acquire all of the trophies. However, it isn't anything too bad.

Keep in mind that the walkthrough below is not a definitive way to play through the game, it is simply my recommended path. You can play however you'd like, and earn all trophies just fine.

Walkthrough

Step 1: Play through "The Sea Battle Against the Navy" one full time and replay it to see both Zoro and Sanji fight

The first step is to select which adventure you'd like to go on. You only have two: "The Sea Battle Against the Navy" and "Repel the Kraken". I recommend starting with the Navy because the Kraken does have a bit of an ending to it which makes it seem like it should come last. However, you can start on whichever adventure interests you first. For the sake of this guide, I'm saying to do the Navy adventure first.

During this playthrough, pick a route you'd like to take and just sit back and enjoy the show. Whether you pick the Galley or Nami's Quarters doesn't matter because you'll be visiting all areas of the Thousand Sunny in the next adventure. Once you begin the actual battle against the navy, you'll eventually reach a point where the Navy ship is about to fire a giant cannonball. At this point Zoro and Sanji will step up to handle it. Select whoever you'd like to first because you'll be replaying this scene anyway to see the other character. Once you finish up the Navy adventure, go back to Scene Select and select the Navy Battle scene. This will bypass the beginning of the adventure and skip to the scene that you need. This time when Zoro and Sanji step up, select the character you did not see the first time. After that, you will obtain Cutting and Kicking.

Step 2: Play through "Repel the Kraken" 9 times to receive all send-offs while also viewing all of Doflamingo's reactions

Now it is time to play through the second adventure, "Repel the Kraken". You will have to fully play through this adventure 9 times in order to receive all 9 send-offs at the end. When starting the adventure you will be asked to select which area you would like to visit. Keep tabs on which ones you choose because you will be visiting each area twice except for one area which you will visit 3 times. The reason for this is because each area contains 3 items related to a send-off at the end of the adventure. When you look around the area you should see 3 sparkling items. Two are related to the characters you meet in that specific area while the third is always Luffy's straw hat. Whichever item you pick will decide which character gives you a send-off at the end of the adventure (Luffy's straw hat always results in Luffy, which is why one room will need to be played a 3rd time).

As you go through the adventure, you will eventually reach a point where Donquixote Doflamingo comes aboard the Thousand Sunny and fights Luffy. Eventually he knocks out Luffy and interrogates you by asking a question. Keep note of what response you pick because you will need to use the other response, and no response, to obtain Steel Yourself. After the fight, you will receive a send-off from the character related to the item you picked. Repeat the adventure 8 more times while remembering to visit all the rooms and pick a different item each time so you can obtain A Straw Hat Salute.

Step 3: Clean Up

Now comes the grind. You will be using scene select to obtain all the remaining trophies. If you didn't fire all cannonballs, you will do that (although it's not hard to do on your initial full playthroughs at all). You might also have to revisit all the areas in the "Repel the Kraken" adventure to obtain all questions needed for Pirate Chatter. The biggest thing you will be doing, however, is replaying both the Navy fight scene and the Kraken fight scene to obtain 5000 total points in each. This is the longest part of the game since it takes about 20-30 playthroughs of each scene to reach 5000 points.

Visit Nami's Quarters.

You will have the option to visit Nami's Quarters in both "The Sea Battle Against the Navy" and "Repel the Kraken". Whichever you choose, you will receive this trophy upon entering the area.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/7395/23a.jpg Cure-All Sick Bay (B)

Visit the Sick Bay.

The Sick Bay is only available in the adventure "Repel the Kraken". Simply visit the area to obtain this trophy.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/7395/03d.jpg Training Deck (B)

Visit the Upper Deck.

The Upper Deck is only available in the adventure "Repel the Kraken". Simply visit the area to obtain this trophy.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/7395/621.jpg Pirate Chatter (S)

View all of the questions from Sanji, Nami, Chopper, and Zoro during the voyage "Repel the Kraken."

When visiting an area during "Repel the Kraken" you will engage in a conversation with a member of the Straw Hat crew. In the Sick Bay it's Chopper, in Nami's Quarters it's Nami, in the Galley it's Sanji, and on the Upper Deck it's Zoro. During the conversation, the crew member will ask you 2 questions out of a possible 3. To obtain this trophy, you will have to replay each area until you hear the crew member ask you each of the 3 questions. This is random, so it may take a couple of tries for each room. You can use Scene Select to obtain this faster.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/7395/f41.jpg Future Sniper King (S)

Score a total of 5000 points in the battle against the Navy.

During the battle against the Navy, you will have to shoot down objects to earn points for your team. Cannonballs and barrels earn you 5 points, while weights, meat, and sake earn you 10 points. For this trophy, you will have to replay the battle approximately 20+ times to reach 5000 points. Unfortunately, your team will not aid you, only hinder you, since only the points you obtain count toward the 5000.

This mini-game is the longer of the 2 so it may take awhile, but you can earn a lot of point if you play it correctly. Remember that if you hit :cross: when the marker is on a target, the cannon will automatically adjust itself to fire the cannonball and hit the target. So just make sure your hitting the button only when the marker lights up red, and remember to prioritize the 10 point targets. You can use Scene Select to obtain this faster.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/7395/1df.jpg All Targets Down (B)

Destroy every type of target in the battle against the Navy.

The types of targets in the battle against the Navy include cannonballs, barrels, weights, meat, and bottles of sake. Simply hit one of each target to obtain this.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/7395/8b9.jpg The Kraken Crusher (S)

Score a total of 5000 points in the battle against the Kraken.

During the battle against the Kraken you will have to shoot cannonballs at the Kraken's tentacles and head to obtain points. The far off tentacles give you 3 points, while the closer tentacles give you 5 points while idle and 10 points if they are about to attack the Thousand Sunny. Eventually, the Kraken's head will appear which gives you 5 points per shot with two 50 point bonuses and a 100 point bonus after a certain amount of shots have hit it.

Thankfully, this scene is the shorter of the 2 which makes it easier to replay. Just make sure you are aiming correctly and going for the 10 point tentacles whenever you can. I highly suggest playing on the red team since they appear to have more time to shoot tentacles and the head than the blue team which can lead to more points. You can use Scene Select to obtain this faster.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/7395/8a8.jpg Squid? Octopus? The Kraken! (B)

Drive the Kraken off.

You will obtain this trophy naturally during "Repel the Kraken" after the scene where you battle against the Kraken.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/7395/96b.jpg Straw Hat vs. The Heavenly Demon (B)

Witness the battle between Luffy and Doflamingo.

You will obtain this trophy naturally during "Repel the Kraken" since the battle between Luffy and Doflamingo occurs right after the Kraken fight.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/7395/fde.jpg A Real Pirate (B)

Reach the end of the voyage with the Straw Hat Pirates.

You will obtain this trophy naturally after completing either of the adventures.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/7395/d1f.jpg Cutting and Kicking (B)(H)

Watch both Zoro and Sanji fight in the battle against the Navy.

During the fight against the Navy, the Naval ship will eventually cease fire and try to launch a giant cannonball. At this point, Zoro and Sanji step in to take care of it. Select whichever character you'd like to see deal with the giant cannonball by looking at them and filling their gauge before the timer runs out. Once you complete the scene, replay it again and repeat the process for the other character. After you watch both Zoro and Sanji fight, you will obtain this trophy.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/7395/f9e.jpg Physique and Finesse (B)(H)

Watch both Franky and Robin fight in the battle against the Kraken.

During the battle with the Kraken, after you weaken it, Franky or Robin will step in to finish it off depending on what team you are on. If you are red, Robin will handle it. If you are blue, Franky will handle it. After you complete the scene, simply replay it while selecting the team you were not on the previous time so you can see the other character fight the Kraken. After watching both Robin and Franky fight, you will obtain this trophy.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/7395/a79.jpg Fun with Usopp and Franky (B)(H)

Fire every type of cannonball.

This trophy is very simple. During either of the mini-games, aim your cannon at a crewmate whether it be a Straw Hat or another recruit, and mash :cross:. Instead of cannonballs, you will fire things like flowers, a wooden face of Usopp, and birds. After viewing all the different kinds of "cannonballs" you will obtain this trophy.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/7395/de5.jpg Steel Yourself (B)(H)

See every reaction when interrogated by Doflamingo.

During the fight between Luffy and Doflamingo in "Repel the Kraken", Luffy will eventually get knocked out. At this time Doflamingo will ask you if you want to give up. You can choose to Continue, Give Up, or select no response at all by letting the timer run out. To obtain this trophy you must do all 3, which means you must view this scene a minimum of 3 times. I suggest you combine this with your 9 playthroughs for A Straw Hat Salute to minimize the amount of time.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/7395/f2a.jpg The Voyage Goes On (B)(H)

Complete the two voyages, "Sea Battle Against the Navy" and "Repel the Kraken."

You will obtain this trophy after completing both adventures "The Sea Battle Against the Navy" and "Repel the Kraken".

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/7395/87d.jpg A Straw Hat Salute (S)(H)

Receive a send-off from each individual member of the Straw Hat Pirates before completing the voyage "Repel the Kraken."

During the adventure "Repel the Kraken", you will get the option to choose what area of the Thousand Sunny you would like to visit. When visiting that area you will see 3 sparkling items. You can collect one of them by looking at it until the cursor lines up and the item disappears. Two of those items relate to the characters in that room while the third item is always Luffy's straw hat. At the end of the adventure, you will receive a send-off from whichever character relates to the item you took.

To obtain this trophy you will have to take all 9 items which means you will have to playthrough "Repel the Kraken" 9 times since you may only take one item at a time. You cannot use Scene Select either because scene select only plays the specific scene you choose rather than the adventure from that point. This is why they must be 9 complete playthroughs. However, you can use these playthroughs to help during your point accumulation for The Kraken Crusher.

The items, their location, and their corresponding character are as follows:

Straw Hat - Luffy - All Areas

Money bag of Beri - Nami - Nami's Quarters

Guitar - Brook - Nami's Quarters

Bottles of Cola - Franky - Upper Deck

Cups of Sake - Zoro - Upper Deck

Cape - Chopper - Sick Bay

Archaeology Books - Robin - Sick Bay

Box Lunch - Sanji - Galley

Sniper King Mask - Usopp - Galley
