Unless otherwise stated, always choosing the top option in conversations is fine.

 

If you die between autosaves, anything you've picked up between those autosaves will not remain in your inventory! You will need to pick them back up. I don't know if this also applies to water coolers/emails, so I'd go for those again as well, just to be safe.

(If he runs off prematurely, or just never showed up after about 30 seconds of hiding, go back into the music lab, then come back here and the bone should be there)

Pick up rubber bone from snack shelf

Walk right to broken vending machine

Use rubber bone with broken vending machine – get cut rubber bone

Walk left to elevators

Use cut rubber bone with broken elevator button

Go all the way right

Go left past the toilet stalls

Pick up extension cord from shelves

Use coffee mug with red paint – get bloody grail

Enter far right door

Use bloody grail with Mad Preacher

Finish the conversation

Exit via far right door

Walk right until you hit the white light on the floor

 

This guy is a bit buggy. He's supposed to be pacing back and forth, but sometimes he just doesn't move. What you want to do is wait until he's walked right, past the dead body, and then trip the fire alarm on the wall to the right of the white light on the ground. While he's freaking out, you can examine the dead body and pick up the Access Card.

 

If he doesn't move, trip the fire alarm and run left so his area isn't on screen anymore. The alarm will turn off and it should kickstart him into pacing again. If he kills you, you'll restart on this floor, so you don't have much to worry about.

 

Once you have the access card, continue.

 

Go all the way left

Enter B2-3

 

Pharmacy (B2-3)

Go all the way right

Use access card with access button next to door

Use button

Enter door

Walk to outlet to the right of the monitor

Use extension cord with outlet (“Garland button”)

Use the button again to turn the lights red

Exit room

The door will close behind you – press the button to open it again

Exit back to B2 Hallway

 

B2 Hallway

 

You want to get the crazy guy to chase you into the pharmacy and trap him in this room. To do so, walk towards him until he sees you (he'll raise his weapon above his head), then run (hold Square) into the pharmacy, into the locked area, and hide in the cabinet next to the door. Wait in the cabinet until he starts walking to the right side of the room, then duck out of the room back into the main Pharmacy area. Once you've exited, the room will automatically close behind you, trapping the crazy guy in.

 

Note: if for whatever reason you have to reload your save, the crazy guy might spawn in the hallway again. Just run past him – the game still thinks he's trapped in the pharmacy.

 

Once you've done this, go back to the B2 Hallway and enter the door on the far right

 

Kitchen

Interact with box left of the Christmas tree x2 – get flashlight

You can now use R1 to toggle the flashlight

Exit to B2 Hallway

Exit through the door that connects the two hallways (the one with greenery above it)

Exit to the other B2 Hallway

Go all the way left, past the elevators, and enter the door with greenery above it

 

B2-1 (Linguistics)

Use water cooler to the right of the door

Walk left

Interact with box on wall to turn on some lights

Enter B2-1

Interact with vent on left

Pick up keys on cabinet right of door – get fridge room keys

Interact with fridge next to that – get NS-68

Use monitor – read all 6 emails

Walk right

Talk to Alice

Exit room x2 so you're back in B2 Hallway

Keep talking to Roger until he won't talk to you anymore (a dialogue bubble will appear over his head) – there will be a cutscene with Stewart inbetween conversations

Interact with counter left of Roger to exit it

Go left and enter first door

Interact with far right bathroom stall

 

Back Room

Interact with dead plant right of Ghostbusters poster – get locker key

Use locker key with right locker

Pick up screwdriver

Open left locker

Pick up clothes to change outfits

Interact with cardboard boxes to move them

Use screwdriver with window

Exit room via window – It's My First Day! (S) unlocked

 

Outside

Keep walking right 3-4 screens until you come across Simon's Corner

Walk right until you reach a door you can enter

This part is difficult to describe because there aren't good markings like before. I'll try. There's three doors off of the lobby that are marked “Hallway” - one on the left and two on the right. The “middle hallway” door is the one next to the water cooler – the “right hallway” door is the one to the right of that.

 

GE Lobby

Walk right until you reach a water cooler. Use it.

Enter door right of watercooler

 

GE, Middle Hallway

Walk left until you pass a Santa poster

Next to it is a cart

Pick up the champagne bucket from cart

Go right past the door next to the Santa poster (it's a bathroom) and into the next one (“Open Space”)

Go all the way left. Use the water cooler.

Exit room

Go right until you reach the next Open Space room, then enter it

Go all the way left. Use the water cooler.

Go all the way right

Talk to Josh

On the desk left of Josh are a set of keys – sometimes the hotspot for them doesn't trigger. Make sure you pick these up.

Go right and exit through far right door – you're back in the lobby

Walk right and interact with box on wall to connect he generator to the fuses (you may need to do this twice – make sure the cable is actually shown going into the box)

Use small red button – you now have power!

The way this puzzle works is that you want to interact with the table during certain dialogue options. Maxwell will pace and say things, and you want to kick the table to agree with certain things. So kick the table when he says “Did he really come here of his own volition” and then “Can we save his soul with our Lord's blessing?” and he will untie you (if it's not randomized, this should be the second and third things he says).

 

Finish conversation

Go left

Pick up broken figurine

Pick up torn belt

Go right

Pick up key (on table next to door)

Exit to hallway

 

Again, there aren't great markings for these rooms, especially the hallways, but I'll try my best. Remember you can read the plaques next to the doors to help orientate yourself.

 

Recreational Area

Talk to Jim

Walk left

Interact with vending machine – get coin

Exit via left door

 

Freight Elevator Hallway

Go all the way left – Maxwell won't hurt you; don't worry.

Use key with door (“Elevators”) on left

Exit through door

 

From now on, keep an eye on the area below the doors. If you see a blinking white bar, there is an enemy there – the stronger the pulse is, the closer he is to your location. If there's an enemy where you need to go, either keep entering and exiting the area you're in, hide in a hiding place for a bit, or close the game and relaunch it to move it. If you come across the enemy, you can run and hide from it. The enemy patrols the hallways, but will not enter actual rooms, unless he's actively chasing you.

 

The Machine Hallway

Go all the way left

Exit via left door (“Hallway”)

Pick up dropper from shelf on left

Read all 3 emails on monitor

Walk right

Use door

Open cabinet on left

Pick up solvent

Go all the way right

Search body – get keys (“Uber Jingly”)

Read all 5 emails on monitor – No Respect for Privacy (G) unlocked

Pick up gong

Exit office

 

There is likely going to be an enemy here that you can't get rid of. When you exit the office, enter the door to your left, then run to the next door and enter it. This will take you to The Machine Hallway, and there is a box just to the left that you can hide in. When the coast is clear, go back into that door and enter the far left door.

 

If you're lucky and the enemy was not there, then exit Shelly's office and enter the far left door.

 

Either of these methods will get you into the Printing area, albeit in one of the two rooms. When you're there, continue with the walkthrough.

 

Printing

In the room with the monitor is a paper cutter

Use keys with paper cutter – get key ring

On the desk to the right is a can of glue

Use solvent with can of glue

Use dropper with can of glue – get dropper of glue

Exit through door between the paper cutter and the glue

Go right

Use torn belt with clamps

Use dropper with glue with torn belt

Use control panel on left

Pick up fixed belt

Exit via left door

Exit via left door (again) so you're back in the hallway

 

In hallway, enter the next door to your right – you will be in The Machine Hallway

Exit via far right door – you won't have to worry about the enemy following you here – you're back with Maxwell

Exit to Recreational Area on far right

Enter 3D Printing on far right

 

3D Printing

Go left

Use fixed belt with machine gears on left

Use machine controls

Pick up figurine

Exit room

Exit back to hallway via far left door

 

Freight Elevator Hallway

Use figurine with Maxwell

Finish conversation

Pick up bell (hanging next to elevator)

Exit left to The Machine Hallway

Enter door to the left of the dead body

 

The Machine

Go all the way right

Use bell with middle branch

Use key ring with right branch

Use gong with key ring

 

This might be randomized. But here's how it worked for me:

 

Use left bell

Use middle bell

Use coin with gong

Use left bell

 

Basically, when you've hit a correct note, the ivy will move away from the door. You need to hit five notes to get the ivy to move completely. Every time you hit an incorrect note, the ivy will close and you'll need to start the sequence over. When you've moved the ivy, you will unlock Jingle Bells (G).

Exit room

The Machine Hallway

Enter door to left

Go left

Enter door (Printing)

Enter right door to get to the other side of printing

 

The enemy can follow you in here. If he does, there's a locker in the room with the soldering iron you can hide in, on the right side of the room, left of the door you'll be wanting to exit from. If he kills you, you'll spawn back with Shelly in the room you opened behind the ivy – make sure to talk to her again to get the phone number you need!

 

Exit via right door

Go all the way right and enter Shelly's Office

 

Shelly's Office

Go right

Use phone

Finish conversation

Exit room

 

If you're lucky, you can just enter the door to your left, then the one on your left, then the next one on your right and get back into The Machine room. Otherwise, you'll need to go the long way, through Printing. When you're in The Machine room, continue.

 

The Machine

Enter room on right

Talk to Shelly

You will be talking to Jim.

Tell me the code, or we'll kill your family

Then tell me the goddamn code

Drug him

Tell me about your daughter

If you don't, I won't feel any guilt about killing her

Just pick the top option until Maxwell appears. At the next dialogue option:

Continue game from main menu

You'll start at the entrance to the core

Repeat the above steps, but this time, finish the conversation. Again, just choosing the top option every time is fine – It's Over (G) unlocked

The walkthrough is good but right here, you could have at least put a note ahead of time to not move. Hitting the button reveals the crazy guy and anyone playing this game would assume he'll kill you. I ran just to find out he was a hallucination.

 

Now I have to redo the power again.

 

Edit: You're fine if the guy gets you. Hitting the switch again tells you that you need to redo the power generator again, but you don't need to. You can move on to the next step.

 

 

This might be randomized. But here's how it worked for me:

It's not random.

 

It was actually different in my game than in the walkthrough, was playing the EU version btw. Figured it out after a few attempts though but would have been real confused for a bit if I had not known about hitting the coin on one of them.

 

Edit: Now I'm thinking about it, I may have put the items on a different branch at the beginning of the puzzle which resulted in a different order for me.

Interesting, mines was the NA version. I haven't done the EU version yet. Good to know though. :)

 

The vita version still isn't released yet sadly. I don't think it'll be crossbuy. :think:

I recently got the NA version and I'm planning on playing it soon :)

 

Well if they do release a Vita version eventually, hopefully no trophies are glitched like this was at first :p
