Introduction:

Controls:

:square: is attack

:cross: is jump (You can double jump by pressing :cross: twice)

:triangle: is use item

:circle: calls the owl which either stocks the item you have or drops an item you stocked/equipped him.

:r1: is dash, you run faster

There are two characters to choose from as far as I know they are not different in anyway. They have the following moves:

Attack = punch (pressing it twice in a row does a 1/2 combo) each hit does 1 damage (unless you used crown, then it does 2)

Jump attack = a jump kick does 2 damage, this is the attack you'll be using the most through the game.

Up attack = uppercut, does 2 damage, good for enemies diving at you.

Dash attack = a running punch does 2 damage

Also, doing the up attack and pressing :triangle: at the same time will throw the item instead of using it so keep that in mind.

Walkthrough:

Step 1: Beat the first 2 levels

Just beat the first two levels using the above moves and make sure to get the item the boss of the second level drops. Unequip any items you have at the end of the level so you can sell them later.

Step 2: Money + Mix everything up to eternal flame

Sell everything you have except for meat and then buy as meat as you can go into mix and mix all your meat into potion (though not in the Grimmore 2x meat makes a potion) keeping doing that until you have 50,000 at least then following the instructions in the Grimmore mix all the items you can buying items as needed you should complete the first page and get up to eternal flame on the second.

At the end of this step, you will have earned the following:

(B) Fortune

Step 3: 100,000 scores and beat the game

From now on the first time you start a level start it with lucky cat equipped to your character and eternal flame equipped on the owl, use the lucky cat immediately and then when you have a high enough multiplier + score use eternal flame to get 100,000 points. After that, if you lose the level it's fine because the next time you beat it the 100,000 score trophy will pop. Keep in mind if you die lucky cat will wear off so if you are about to die use Eternal flame.

At the end of this step, you will have earned the following:

(B) Forest Fury

(B) For Whom the Bell Tolls

(B) We'll do it Right

(B) Marketplace

(B) Eggcellent

(B) Fallen Star

(B) Grave Situation

(B) Wasteland Warrior

(B) Castle Crashed

(B) Hardcore

(B) The End

Step 4: Collect all items

To do this you have to beat Grimmalcore using the elixir (you can die and effects won't wear off, it just makes you sparkly) then beat the next 3 levels. I actually don't know if you have to repeat Grimmalcore if you beat it with the elixir first or if you have to do it both ways to unlock the next levels. Either way beat the next two levels and get the item their boss drops then follow the Grimmore to mix a portal start any level use the portal and you'll unlock the last level the Chaos Realm after beating that you'll get Darkmatter which you can mix into a crown which should be your last item, if not and the Grimmore is completed you're missing junk just mix random (cheap) stuff that doesn't mix and you'll get junk.

At the end of this step, you will have earned the following:

(B) Collector

Step 5: Clean Up

Now that you've got all the items and beat the game all that's left is the challenge and random trophies most of them are relatively easy with agent of chaos being the obvious exception.

At the end of this step, you will have earned the following:

(B) Elite Fighter

(B) Purist

(B) Bounty Hunter

(B) Agent of Chaos

(B) Never Give Up!

(B) 2 Birds 1 Stone

(B) Silly Movie Reference

(B) Fat of the Land

See Hardcore

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/2687/ae1.jpg Hardcore (B)

Get a score above 100 000 in Grimmalcore.

Buy a lucky cat an eternal flame (or any of the 15,000 points items). Use the lucky cat at start of the level and keep eternal flame on standby but it increases your multiplier by 4 which isn't enough

15,000 x 4 = 60,000

15,000 x 5 = 75,000 (10 combo)

15,000 x 6 = 90,000 (20 combo)

15,000 x 7 = 105,000 (30 combo)

If you can get a 30 combo (or equivalent luck items drop) and use the eternal flame you'll have enough after that, if you can't get that high of a combo just wait use it at the best combo and you can and you should be able to get enough by killing enemies. After that, just beat the level after getting 100,000, for the trophy to pop. I recommend doing this on your first playthrough of each level in the interest of time even if you die learning the level you don't have to worry about it anymore and free up other items slots for stuff like the lamp and potions.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/2687/d34.jpg Collector (B)

Collect every item.

This sounds daunting but it's not, just beat every level and follow the Grimmore since it has instructions on how to make every item look at the arrows and the x2 and stuff. If you need additional funds, just do the infinite money trick described under Fortune. If you have every item in the Grimmore and are still missing something, just fuse something together that doesn't fuse, then you'll get junk.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/2687/45c.jpg Elite Fighter (B)

Finish a level without taking a hit.

I recommend doing this in forest after you get Agent of Chaos since the Chaos Realm doesn't have a boss and to get a 200 hit combo you have to go through most of it without taking a hit anyway so you might get it while doing that.

Load up lamp and a level 3 spell (that's not earth) and try not to get hit save. Use the level 3 spell on the boss to make him die faster and remember that not getting hit is most important, since you don't have to worry about your combo running out and as long as genie is live you will do some damage even if you aren't hitting.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/2687/f84.jpg The End (B)

Finish the game.

Story related, can't be missed

Beat Grimmalcore, which the tenth level.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/2687/9f1.jpg Purist (B)

Finish a level without using any items.

Don't worry about picking up items, just don't hit :triangle: and you will be okay. Do this in the forest level since it's one of the easiest ones. Since you can't use items to make it easier, exploit the sprint + punch, upper cut and jump kick on the frogs since it does twice the damage of a normal punch.

The trick to this one is focusing on not getting hit so you have as much life as possible for the boss, then tank him if you have to.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/2687/7fa.jpg Bounty Hunter (B)

Get a chain of 200.

See Agent of Chaos

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/2687/1db.jpg Agent of Chaos (B)

Get a chain of 200 in the Chaos Realm.

This is by far the hardest trophy in the game. The Chaos Realm has random waves so it's hard to predict and some can be really hard. I recommend using both the lamp and the crown for every try but because they are so expensive, if you die just close the game so you don't lose them. The crown doubles your normal punching strength as well as vastly increases its area of effect of it until you die (though unfortunately it doesn't effect the jump kick/uppercut/sprint + punch at all) and makes you invincible for a short time. Since you'll be using it right away, the invincibility will be wasted but it still makes clearing out ground mobs with high HP far easier.

The lamp summons a genie that will shoot your enemies that sticks with you until you die. This will help you a lot even though it only does 1 damage it helps you clear out weaker enemies and flyers. Since both these items effects are persistent they are the best way to make this trophy easier.

In terms of strategy try to stick near your spawn when you have nowhere better to be since that's the best place to hit the monster that carries spells and no monsters spawn there ever aside from that it's mostly just luck, try to stock up on stuff like bombs, hammers, axes, cannons or anything with high damage that can hit a flyer. Also, be careful not to do the Up attack while using an item because you will toss it out instead. The guys that shoot magic at you are the most likely to mess up your combo so if you see one, use an item on it and kill it fast (with the exception of the 1 hit teleporter let genie handle that). If you can, stock a lv3 spell with the owl for a hard wave but be careful one issue I had was if I wiped the screen my combo could time out before I could kill anything else.

Aside from that just keep trying grab and stock useful items when you can and just don't get hit or let your combo time out if you can't and remember if you need to restart close out the game don't quit back to lobby because then you'll need to buy another lamp/crown.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/2687/71e.jpg Never Give Up! (B)

Defeat 100 monsters in a row with only 1 HP left.

Go in the forest get hit until you are down to 1 HP and then just don't get hit or use health items. Feel free to use the lamp and the crown to help you if you really need it.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/2687/c3e.jpg Fortune (B)

Raise your money to 50 000.

Buy some meat and forge it into a Potion (not in the Grimmore but 2 meat = 1 Potion) then a Potion into Potion Plus. Now sell the Potion Plus and you'll get 250 per Potion Plus and since you just have to mash :cross:.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/2687/b20.jpg 2 Birds 1 Stone (B)

Kill 2 bird enemies with the catapult.

Self explanatory. I got this one naturally but if you didn't, just buy a catapult or 2 go to forest wait till there's a bunch of birds and kill 2 with it.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/2687/f81.jpg Silly Movie Reference (B)

Defeat a Shark with a Whirlwind.

Buy a Whirlwind (or 2 if you aren't confident) then go to level 4 and when the shark jumps out kill him with it.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/2687/f13.jpg Fat of the Land (B)

Use a Potion Plus at full health when your chain is at least 100.

Wait to do this one after Agent of Chaos, because it's possible that a Potion Plus will drop while you have a combo of 100+ and you'll be using the health items just to get them out of the way.

Buy/Mix a Potion Plus equip it to the owl, get a combo of 100 with full health (use lamp if needed) and use the potion. You shouldn't have much trouble with this one, just remember what's coming and don't let your combo time out or get hit and don't be stingy with items since you only have 1 slot.

Awesome guide, thank you very much Stalemate666.

It's a pity that there is no direct "Trophy Guide" link to this guide on the game's page, because it really is a very good guide. I guess it could use more punctuation and could be written a bit more elegantly, but the information provided is spot-on. Perfect !

Also, I really enjoyed this game. It was really fun, with good music and amusing gameplay. The controls are almost perfect, extremely precise, so even though that one trophy (200 chain in the Chaos Realm) was pretty tough to obtain, it was never frustrating or infuriating.

I got a small glitch on one of the trophies : When I finally reached chain #200 in the Chaos Realm, the trophy "Agent of Chaos" popped (thankfully), however the other trophy for Chain #200 didn't pop (I got hit by a snake right after hitting chain #200, maybe that's why ?). It wasn't too bad though, I just went through the forest again, hit Chain #200 and it popped properly this time.

(The other way around would have sucked, if Agent of Chaos hadn't popped but the other one had... I don't even want to think about it)
