Section 2: Introduction

Senran Kagura: Peach Beach Splash is an off-shoot the the main Senran Kagura games; where instead of ninja action, it has the girls in bikinis and shooting each other with water guns in third-person perspective. Achieving the platinum isn't difficult, nor is it too time intensive but there is an element of grinding that cannot be avoided. The game isn't too structured as you can jump from one mode to another with little trouble as the only locked content is the final story arc. You will be able to easily clear all the mission required trophies with minimal effort and will end up spending most of your time grinding cards to level up your character, skills and weapons. If you max out your skills, then it's a pretty simple platinum trophy.

Section 3: Walkthrough

On starting the game, you will be taken to the tutorial and have to clear it, this will net you your first trophy. After that you can choose on where to play in the single or multi player options, I recommend starting with the story mode.

Trophy Earned:

(B) Welcome to Peach Beach Splash

Section 3.1: Story Mode

Here you will have a selection of four story arcs with ten missions a piece. What difficulty you play on doesn't matter but it should be said that playing on harder difficulties will often reward you with better cards. When it comes to leveling up characters and gear, I suggest focusing on the Gessen Academy Girls and only one or two weapons you will routinely use. I prefer the Minigun myself because outside of the bosses on the tenth mission of each arc, there should be very little that can put up much of a fight (even on the hardest difficulty). Once you clear the four story arcs, a fifth one with 14 missions will unlock and clearing that unlock the final mission. When going through these missions you should attempt as many as the combat action specific trophies as possible; Soaking Power-Up, reviving allies, pet/melee/skill/squirmy kills etc. Complete the final mission to have earned all story mode specific trophies.

Trophies Earned:

(B) Nursing Degree

(B) Card Maniac

(B) Card Master

(S) Towards Graduation

(S) Nothing There

(S) World, Meet Super Ninja

(S) My Best Mate

(G) Over the Rainbow

Section 3.2: V-Road Challenge

Your next set of trophies are in the V-Road Challenge. These are structured like a tournament and each have five rounds of team battle you must fight your way through. It's okay if you lose a fight at or before the finals, because you'll be able to retry the round you lost at (providing you don't quit to the main menu). You will be forced to play as the Gessen Academy Girls until you clear a specific cup so I hope you followed the advice about powering them up over other characters. If you find yourself under powered and unable to finish one of the cups, I suggest doing some quick grinding to power up and then coming back to finish off the cups. When going through these missions you should attempt as many as the combat action specific trophies as possible; Soaking Power-Up, reviving allies, pet/melee/skill/squirmy kills etc. Once you clear the Venus Cup, you'll have all V-Road Challenge specific trophies.

Trophies Earned:

(S) School Cup Is Mine!

(S) Honey Cup Is Mine!

(S) Queen Cup is Mine!

(G) Venus Cup is Mine!

Section 3.3: Card Grinding

Once you reach this step, all that's ahead of you is grinding out the remaining trophies; most of which requires a lot of skill cards to level up your weapons, skills and characters. The best method for grinding is in the Paradise Episodes; Mission 5 of Summer Fes!. It's possible to clear this mission in under 60 seconds, even on the hardest difficulty but you must play on the hardest difficulty as earning an S Rank on that difficulty will ensure there's at least one Ultra Rare Card in the card pack when the mission is over. Luckily, earning an S Rank is as easy as clearing the mission without losing a life so take your most powerful character, weapon and skills and grind this mission out for the thousands of points you need to level up everything. While you can work on earning the trophies for 100 melee, pet, skill and squirmy kills here, you should focus strictly on getting high level skill cards.

Trophies Earned:

(B) My Dearest Girl

(B) Growing Strong

(B) Up and Ready

(B) Rifle Ruler

(B) Shotgun Shogun

(B) Grenade Guru

(B) Rocket Ranger

(B) Super Sniper

(B) Minigun Master

(B) Shower Gun Shaman

(B) Skilled

(B) Extra Skilled

(B) Too Skilled

(B) Pet Owner

(B) Pet Breeder

Section 3.4: Dressing Room/Cleanup

If there are any combat specific trophies you haven't earned yet, this is the time to grind them out as well as get the Dressing Room trophies out of the way. Check the guide for details on how to get each character's unique reaction when touching them in the dressing room or one of the best methods to grind out one of the battle trophies you've yet to earn. A number of these trophies may have been earned in an earlier step of this Roadmap.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/5642/d80.jpg School Cup Is Mine! (S)

Cleared the 1st league in the V Road Challenge.

The V-Road Challenge is a set of four tournaments with five battles a piece and require you to play as the Gessen Girls Academy Team. All battles are 5v5 Team Battle with the winning team having the highest kill count when the timer runs out. If you fail somewhere between the first and last match, you will be able to retry the battle as long as you don't exit the V-Road Challenge screen. If you do exit, you will have to start over from scratch and redo that league from scratch. The School Cup is the first and easiest Tournament to clear as it can be done with little to no upgrades to your characters or gear. You'll earn this trophy upon winning the Finals match, which will also unlock the Honey Cup.

If you fail somewhere between the first and last match, you will be able to retry the battle as long as you don't exit the V-Road Challenge screen. If you do exit, you will have to start over from scratch and redo that league from scratch. Much like the School Cup, as it can be done with little to no upgrades to your characters or gear. You will earn this trophy upon winning the Finals match, which will also unlock the Queen Cup.

This Tournament will require you to have your team and gear decently upgraded as the opposing teams are far more intelligent and aggressive but having your characters and gear around level 4 or higher should suffice. You will earn this trophy upon winning the Finals match, which will also unlock the Venus Cup.

If you do exit, you will have to start over from scratch and redo that league from scratch. This trophy requires you to raise the level of at least five characters to level 10, which will take exactly 6,450 points to do. You will earn this trophy once you get the notification of This card's level is maxed on your fifth character.

See Up and Ready for suggestions on who to raise.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/5642/276.jpg Up and Ready (B)

Raised 10 characters to MAX level.

This trophy requires you to raise the level of at least ten characters to level 10, which will take exactly 12,900 points to do. You will earn this trophy once you get the notification of This card's level is maxed on your tenth character.

While the story missions are relatively easy with low level characters and gear, even on hard difficulty, there are a few characters I suggest leveling up. Those would be the girls of Gessen Girls Academy. The reason being is the game forces you to play with specific characters in every mission and you can only change your characters after beating the mission. The V-Road Challenge requires you to play as the Gessen Academy girls and has the most difficult fights in the game so I recommend powering them up first. After you've cleared all the V-Road Challenges, you can power up any character you prefer.

Raised 5 skills to MAX level.

This trophy requires you to raise the level of ten skill cards to level 10 but this can range from costly to insanely costly, depending on what skills you decide to upgrade. You will earn this trophy once you get the notification of This card's level is maxed on your tenth skill card.

See Too Skilled for suggestions to keep the cost low.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/5642/271.jpg Too Skilled (B)

Raised 30 skills to MAX level.

This trophy requires you to raise the level of thirty skill cards to level 10 but this can range from costly to insanely costly, depending on what skills you decide to upgrade. You will earn this trophy once you get the notification of This card's level is maxed on your 30th skill card.

Skill cards vary in range of how many points it takes to have them reach level 10. Luckily you can tell what a card will cost by looking at their initial cost as the lower the initial cost, the lower the total cost will be. The lowest cost cards take exactly 143 points to reach level 10 but multiplied by 30, that's 4,290 points for the bare minimum to earn this trophy.

Raised 3 pets to MAX level.

This trophy requires you to raise the level of 1 pet card to level 10but this can take exactly 143 points or more depending on what card you upgrade. You will earn this trophy once you get the notification of This card's level is maxed on your third pet card.

See Pet Breeder for details on what cards to level.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/5642/82b.jpg Pet Breeder (B)

Raised 5 pets to MAX level.

This trophy requires you to raise the level of 1 pet card to level 10but this can take exactly 143 points or more depending on what card you upgrade. You will earn this trophy once you get the notification of This card's level is maxed on your fifth pet card.

Most of the pet cards require a maximum of 143 points to reach level 10, though the sole exceptions to this rule are the Puppet Walker cards as they take more. You can level any pet you prefer but I suggest leveling the cards of at least Luka and two other projectile attack cards to help you earn the Say Hello to My Little Friend trophy.

A Squirmy Finish is available against any non-generic enemy that isn't the last target to be put down. To get a Squirmy Finish you must deplete an enemy's entire health and you'll see them on the ground with a pink heart above their head and a green circle around them. Enter the circle and press :square: to begin a Squirmy Finish. Use :r3: to aim and :r2: to shoot water at one of three specific parts of the girl; her head, bikini top and bikini bottom. When the timer runs out, the squirmy finish is over.

There are a total of 30 squirmy finishes in the game; they are divided by what weapon the enemy is holding and what area of their body you shoot so you will have to get a squirmy finish three different times while targeting the three different locations on each weapon. While there is no in game counter to keep track of what finishes you've seen (as many look similar) every girl is assigned a specific weapon by the game, thus you can go to specific missions and hunt the weapon types you haven't seen yet. You will earn this trophy the moment you finish seeing the 30th unique squirmy finish.

Achieved Soaking Power-Up State 100 times. *inc. Multiplayer

The Soaking Power-Up State is earned when your character has soaked up enough water from enemy and friendly fire. Some weapons/skills/pets work better than others, but you'll know when you earn it as a quick scene plays and you have infinite ammo/boost. The one downside is even though enemy fire will add to your soak gauge, it will reset to 0 if you die. You will earn this trophy upon entering the Soaked Power-Up state for the hundredth time.

While it may seem like a pain to have to get shot by friend and enemy alike, this process can be expedited by using skill cards to force the gage to fill up. There's a set of Haruka skill cards that can force an increase of anywhere from 10% (base) to 73% (max) so I suggest loading up with these cards and grind this trophy out whilst grinding out the XP needed for the other trophies.

Performed Ally Revival 10 times. *inc. Multiplayer

This trophy isn't too difficult as you will have plenty of opportunities to revive your teammates. In any team based battle, eventually one of your allies will die. To revive them, go over to their position and hold :square: until the revive meter fills up and they get back up. If you wait too long after they go down, they will respawn and you'll miss the opportunity. You will earn this trophy upon reviving your teammates for the tenth time.

Card Maniac will unlock after opening 25 Card Packs and Card Master will unlock after opening 50 Card Packs but both trophies are impossible to miss, because you get a Card Pack after completing each of the 55 story missions. If for some reason you don't have this by the end of the story, either finish the Paradise Episodes or buy some Card Packs from the in-game store. There are also some free and premium Card Packs available on the PS Store but I don't know if those count towards these or any other trophies.

While everyone has their own suggestions; I found grinding these trophies to be the easiest in Stage 5 of the Hikage in the Heat Paradise Episode. This mission pits you against 4 AI enemies and can be won quickly on the easiest difficulty with a powered up character/weapon. My weapon of choice was the Gatling Gun as it has excellent range and power; right as the mission starts run towards your enemies and fire a long burst to get each of them into their half-life state and let their bubble wear down. Once that is down it's simply a matter of hitting them with a skill, pet, or melee attack to put them down. For pets, I strongly recommend a projectile type like Luka, for skills I was using Katsuragi and for melee I suggest someone with a wide attack arc like Murakumo. This mission can be easily cleared under two minutes with this strategy making these trophies a quick grind.

Skill cards are earned by opening Card Packs but you don't need to earn 1,000 unique skill cards as there are only 821 unique skills available. Simply earn 1,000 Skill Cards over time to get this trophy and you will also unlock Card Scrub, Card Pro and Card Professor along the way.

Watched reactions for 5 characters in the Dressing Room.

The description for this trophy is a bit misleading as it doesn't specify that you must watch unique reactions across five girls in Intimacy mode. All girls have set reactions based on where and how you interact with them. Manage to see the unique reaction across five girls and you will earn this trophy.

See Quit it! for details about each character.

All girls have set reactions based on where and how you interact with them. Manage to see the unique reaction across 10 girls and you will earn this trophy.

The fastest way to level up everything is to finish the final stage of the 4th V-Road League match and spend your 10,000 Zeni reward on buying 10 card packs. The cards you're looking for are the Ultra Rares, because they give you 100 xp per redemption but one of the patches has dropped their spawn chance so are much rarer than they were at launch. The easiest way to win the V-Road Leagues, is to get 1 character to Lv10 and the rest to Lv4, then kit them out with Lv10 Assault Rifles, Shield cards (or the relevant pet) and whatever skill cards take your fancy :). With this setup, you are virtually guaranteed to win every match.

You can make the "Rulebreaker" trophy a hell of a lot easier, by equipping Melee booster cards, a Shield card and at least 1 of Yumi's Ice cards. A single 3-shot burst from a Lv10 Assault Rifle is enough to drop a character's health to near 0 if you're playing on 1 Star difficulty, then wait for their emergency shield to dissipate before you lay into them with your Melee attack.

Harruka's Cards are the fastest way of getting the "Soaking Power-Up" trophies if you're playing by yourself, because you only need 3 of them to max out out your Power-Up Gauge :). If you allow a match to drag out, then you can get into the Power-Up state multiple times :). If you have a friend handy, then you can get these done in a private match of Co-Op Survival but the matchmaking is garbage in this game so I don't entirely recommend going down that route.

Small point but you can do the Tutorial before even starting the main campaign, because there's an option in one of the menus that allows you to skip straight to it :). If you complete the tutorial this way, then you will get the option to skip it when starting the campaign.

The 2 best pets for the "Say Hello to My Little Friend" trophy, are the Dolphin (I forget his actual name) and Bebe MK II (though this one is currently only available if you buy the game new and redeem the included DLC code) :).

There are some DLC card packs available at the moment that might contribute to the card collection trophies but I'm not sure if some are micro-transactions or one-off DLCs . There is a free pack available in the PS Store (and there's another one if you buy the game new) but it's not going to be around forever, as it's just for a brief period whilst the game is still new.

I didn't have much luck with the Finals of Venus Cup. Yeah the card payout is nice, but I never received more than 1 or sometimes 2 UR cards in a pack. The payout was even worse when buying packs in the shop and had the best time/payout playing a Hard Stage 5 in the Paradise Episodes. As long as I got an S-Rank, I'd get a guaranteed UR or two for under two minutes of work.

The Gatling Gun and Assault Rifle are about the same power wise when it comes to Easy strength opponents. I just prefer the Gatling as it has higher range so you can knock them into near-death without getting too close. I mention the Haruka cards under the Soaked trophies.

The Dolphin is Luka, which I mention getting as he's absurdly good for the 100 pet kills. I didn't mention Bebe Mk. II because some may not have that DLC, so I said projectile type pets, as the pets you ride are clunky and easily destroyed.

Training no 3 works for squirmy sergeant, its slow but sure way to get the trophies, to make it faster, equip yumi with all soak card from haruka to make process faster, and restart the mission when you are powered up by pressing >options> new game , restarting also works for any 100 kills trophy , so you dont have to reenter menu again or watch cutscene, just leave 1 enemy alive then restart

I know this game isn't getting much traffic, but does anyone else out there have any critiques or anything?

Anyone able to give a second confirm on this? I don't feel safe putting a method in without further testing.

Soaking works, all 100 kills work by restarting just make sure to clear mission once in a while so the progress saved, yeah 2nd confirmation would be great

Thanks for the guide, how do you exactly level up, navigating the menu's don't have a clue how to do it

Once you have chosen the character or item you want to level up, highlight them and press :triangle: twice then press :cross: (though it maybe :square: as I haven't played this for a while) :).

Just started this game's story mode and finished 2 story arcs so far. I don't mind the grind but what I'm worried about is the Squirmy Master trophy since there're 30 finishes with no in-game tracking.

I figured I have to start all over for this one once I'm done with story and v-road challenges.

The guide says to "go to specific missions and hunt the weapon types you haven't seen yet."

Can you provide more specifics on how to tackle this just to ease my mind?! Eg, which specific missions? And which girls hold which weapon?

If there's a list, at least I can print it out and track it manually. Thanks!

1: There are no tracking lists available, thus you will have to do it manually :(.

2: The "Specific Missions" are where-ever you see the specific weapon you are missing so again, you will have to keep track of this manually because the game won't do it for you :(.

The end-game trophies are a massive grind, that's not made any easier by the complete lack of any tracking ability for most of the trophies :(. It took me ages to get the Squirmy finishes done, because I didn't know what had and hadn't already been completed.

Ah, I see.

Will you or someone else be able to provide a list of weapons needed? I see some weapons on the PSN store but I assume those are not relevant?

So, for each weapon on a girl, I will need to squirmy splash her head, top bikini and bottom bikini to count as 1 squirmy finish?

Anyway, thanks for the reply. Once I get to it and if I make the own list myself and some strategy, I'll share it here.

1: Don't waste your time with the DLC weapons, because they don't count for anything and will only confuse matters later on.

2: Correct.

I made a quick spreadsheet here and used it as a checklist last night to get the 'Squirmy Master' trophy:

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1wzdsGkFwvL2gWoP2j6RhDrbQwy_Y9_YgH-EzryZAsDE/edit?usp=sharing

Some weapons are repeated and I tried to highlight the fact with similar coloring.

I only fought against the first 3 groups of girls (Hanzo, Gessen and Crimson), since they contained all the 10 weapons needed.

I used the missions 11, 12, 13 I think from that 14-mission story (after beating the 4 arcs) since it states clearly which team you'll be fighting.

I tried the first v-cup challenge too but could never tell which girl is which and which guns they hold! Even so with missions 11, 12 and 13, it's hard to tell since the girls zip around so quickly and when you take them down, their guns fly off from them and I have to be careful to look at the gun next to them before doing the squirmy. If two girls fall side-by-side, then it becomes confusing!

For those still trying, feel free to use the spreadsheet! ;)
