Side swiper is a pain but not too difficult. There were some bugs, but none had an effect trophy-wise. I therefore rated platinum difficulty as 3/10.

I'm giving this a 5/10 because many of the fights and boss encounters are poorly balanced and can lead to some really cheap deaths, a problem not helped by the atrocious save system.
