The trophies in this game all revolve around competing in tournaments and catching lots and lots of fish. The competition trophies are very, very difficult. I've competed in multiple competitions and have yet to place in the top 20. Close to 1000 people have registered for each tournament so far. The rest of them aren't bad, just time consuming.

Step 1:

Complete the trial (first thing you'll do in the game). Once you complete this, work on fishing the Lonestar Lake to level up and unlock new items. As you gain more credits, you can purchase better equipment to target different species of fish and continue to move on to higher level lakes.

In this step you will earn:

(B) Tight Lines!

(B) Trout Master

(B) Pike Master

(B) Bass Master

(B) Panfish Overlord

(B) Catfish Master

(B) Walleye Chief

(B) Salmon Master

(B) Carp Master

(B) Crappie Master

Step 2:

Onto the fishing competitions. Start joining the tournaments and finish them off!

In this step you will earn:

(B) Partaker

(B) You're In!

(B) Qualified Winner

(S) Unique Gainer

(S) Trophy Collector

(S) Winning Streak

(S) Almost There!

I noticed some small errors in the guide,

The Pike Master Trophy only requires 100 instead of 1000 (thankfully)

The Catfish Master Trophy requires you to catch 100 Catfish instead of 50.

Other than that awesome little guide.

I'll post some more on where to find certain fish with some screenshots and

which gear to use (or atleast gear that works for me) when I get home. So far I found good spots and tactics for the Spotted Bass, Catfish, Walleye and the occasional Northern Pike

Corrected, thanks. Changes from the PC version wiki to the PS4, or just wrong info on the wiki lol

I've got a setup that's worked great for trout. I'll be moving onto Florida for largemouth bass later today or tomorrow, so I'll get screenshots of my current setup and a bass setup that works well once I get it.

I haven't figured out the tournament trophy yet. I haven't seen one of those happen, so I'm not sure how it works. The competition trophies are extremely difficult though.

Got some new info for your guide!

Partaker

Complete the Partaker I Challenge

Take part in 1 fishing competition.

To get this trophy you need to go into the events tab and register for any fishing competition. When the competition starts you will get a notification.

Travel to the location where the competition is held. As soon as you are in the lobby and the competition timer starts running, you will get the trophy.

Does anyone have a guide or a link to something that easily explained for best combos for catching fish types, locations of fish and what level to go for them. I'm new to the game and fishing in general so haven't really got a clue what i'm needing.

Sorry for the mega Noobness, but i am enjoying the game upto now!

1: Before this can be Submitted, you need to read the Road Map walkthrough here: https://www.playstationtrophies.org/forum/guide-central/27461-road-maps-complete-walkthrough.html and format things accordingly.

2: You can find the official Overview and Trophy List for this game, in the Guide Template Generator so please add them at your earliest convenience :): https://www.playstationtrophies.org/forum/guide-central/202570-ultimate-bbcode-trophy-guide-template.html

3: Also, you need to include a lot more descriptive and detailed info in the Guide - instead of just repeating the Trophy Descriptions. You can find more info here: https://www.playstationtrophies.org/forum/guide-central/27004-trophy-guides-complete-walkthrough.html
