Introduction:

Welcome to Operation Babel: New Tokyo Legacy, the sequel to Operation Abyss: New Tokyo Legacy. If you've played Operation Abyss and/or Demon Gaze, you'll know what to expect from this game.

All trophies can be done in one playthrough, and nothing is missable. For item collection based trophies, you don't have to have all the items on you at once, so you can get rid of unwanted items (or use Game Codes on them). Sometimes trophies don't unlock right away. Sometimes you have to change screens if you're in the hub or even walk around in dungeons (and maybe even return back to Headquarters afterwards) to unlock them.

The default team given to you is a strong team that's well balanced, and I got the platinum using this team. As for Sub Bloods, I had a few backup Priests, made my main Priest have a Wizard Sub Blood (for Quick Cast, give them at least 40 PSI), and I had a Conjurer which is useful late game, especially for the Lethal Hall. You can change Blood Codes anytime during the game.

There are some mistranslations in the game. The item "ILITH Device" actually increases enemy levels by 3 instead of the description of decreasing enemy levels, and the item "Alice's Bell" increases enemy levels by 7 instead of decreasing enemy levels by 5 like the description says.

There is an online element to this game where you can receive memos from other players and leave memos for others. There is a trophy for leaving 10 memos in a dungeon, but you don't have to be connected to PSN to earn it.

I have compiled maps here and here to help you out.

Walkthrough:

Step 1: Play through the game

Just play through the game normally. Nothing is missable and you'll unlock a good portion of the trophies while going through the story. You can defeat Wanted Variants as you see them, but you won't be able to defeat all of them until post-game.

After this step, you should earn the following trophies:

(B) The First Mission

(B) Bridge to the Past

(B) Thanatos Subjugation

(B) Walpurgis Subjugation

(B) Fuhrer Subjugation

(B) Buccaneer Subjugation

(B) Joker Subjugation

(B) Dreadnought Subjugation

(B) Shinma Subjugation

(S) Human Will

(G) Peace and Sacrifice

(B) Cross Blood Equipped!

(B) Wanted Variant Subjugation

Step 2: Post-game

After completing the game, you'll unlock new post game missions and dungeons. Complete the post game missions as they come, and then challenge the Embryo Arcs and the Lethal Hall.

After this step, you should earn the following trophies:

(S) Mascot Capture Complete

(S) A New Way

(S) The Final Trial

(G) The Strongest Code Riser

(S) Embryo Walker

(G) Poster Child For Battle

Step 3: Clean-up

At this point, you should either be close to platinum or have it already. Now it's time to clean-up trophies that you haven't already gotten. You want to defeat any Wanted Variants that you have yet to defeat. Also, here is where you acquire certain weapons for trophies and clean up any other trophy you're missing. The game has added items higher than level 40, but they are impossible to acquire to acquire through Gamble Code, so they must come from drops in the Embryo Arcs and Lethal Hall. Gamble Codes give you a random item within 3 levels of the current item level, but it caps out at level 40. Using a Gamble Code on an item higher than level 40 gives you a random level 40 item.

After this step, you should earn the following trophies:

(B) Wanted Variant Annihilation

(B) True Wealth

(B) Treat Yourself

(B) Skill Collector

(B) Unique Collector

(B) Demon Blade Muramasa

(B) Mechanical Demon Blade

(S) Weapons of Ares

(G) God Spear Valkyrias

(G) Last Muramasa

(B) Forewarned is Forearmed

(B) Risk Junkie

(B) The Power of Unity

(B) Barter Town

(B) Homemade Code

(B) Your Real Self

(B) Healing Touch

(B) Variant Disposal Specialist

(B) Force Multiplier

Trophy Guide:

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/5848/54e.jpg Mission Complete! (P)

Completed all of Operation Babel. Thank you for spending so much time with us!

Congratulations! You saved Tokyo!

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/5848/f82.jpg Cross Blood Equipped! (B)

Chose two Blood Codes. Study their secrets, and aim for total mastery.

Story related and cannot be missed.

After completing the side mission Space Envoy Contact, which is necessary to continue the story, you will be able to equip a Sub Blood Code. The game makes you select a Sub Blood Code for one character to continue the story, but you can always change it back if you like. I recommend having all six members having a Sub Blood Code equipped anyway.

While having a Sub Blood Code equipped, the main Blood Code will level up more slowly. The XP is distributed in a 2:1 fashion (out of every 3 XP, 2 XP goes to the Blood Code and 1 goes to the Sub Blood Code). Despite this, it's highly recommended to equip Sub Blood Codes not only for their skills, but whenever you level up a Sub Blood Code, you get an HP boost. Blood Codes and Sub Blood Codes can be changed at anytime.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/5848/610.jpg Wanted Variant Subjugation (B)

Subjugated your first Wanted Variant. You can now call yourself a full member of the Xth Squad.

Story related and cannot be missed.

During the story, you will received the mission Wanted Variant Mission. You will need to defeat Elder Sahagin in Gakuto Tunnel Closed Road (East & West). For more information about Wanted Variants, see Wanted Variant Annihilation.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/5848/ccd.jpg Wanted Variant Annihilation (B)

Annihilated all Wanted Variants. You have proven yourself as a truly elite warrior.

You can only finish this in the post-game, since you won't be able to unlock all of the dungeons until then. Wanted Variants are the strongest enemies in an area, and they are encountered in random battles. You have a better chance of encountering a Wanted Variant if your Encounter Gauge is high. Defeating an area's Wanted Variant for the first time reduces your Encounter Gauge. Here is the list of all of the Wanted Variants and their locations:

  • Elder Sahagin (Gakuto Tunel Closed Road East & West, story related)
  • Master PD - Academy Station - Xth Subway Line
  • Orge - Abyss Subway Line
  • Arachne - Muramasa (I found it on the second floor)
  • Tamano-no-Maa - Aoi Shine Heavenly Road North & South
  • Psychonation - appears in the Haunted Hospital on floors 2F, 3F, and 4F
  • Siren - Green Museum (found it in Zone A)
  • Death Scythe - Green Museum (found it in Zone C)
  • Kaiser Raptor - Green Museum (found it in Zone F)
  • Daughter Guard Amatsu - Muramasa Hall (found it on Fifth Floor, can call in for reinforcements)
  • Noble Vamp - GHQ Cemetary (found it in South)
  • Algol - Catacombs (found it in Jesus Area and Satan Area)
  • Derracotta - Catacombs (found it in West)
  • General Borg - Geomatrix (found it on second floor)
  • Heavenly Maiden - Shinobazu Prison (found it on B1F)
  • Voltrus - Shinobazu Prisoon (found it on B5F)
  • Rune - Babyle Sphere
  • Shadow Chaser - Embryo
  • Perfect Daughter - Muramasa Hall (found it on 9F)
  • Dinomelo - Arc I & V
  • Grand Buster - Arc VI
  • Wyvern Omega - Embryo Arc VII, after opening Lethal Hall. I recommend contracting the Nono and Yuyu Clones from the first Lethal Hall fight.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/5848/ee0.jpg True Wealth (B)

Accumulated 500,000 GP. Now get out there and start spending!

This is not cumulative, so you need to have 500,000 GP on you at once. If you change formation in CPA Headquarters, sometimes you see that you "lose" all of your GP, but your GP is actually put in storage. You can always store and retrieve GP in storage by going to Development Lab and then selecting "Growth Points Storage".

You don't even have to worry about this trophy. A post-game assignment "Embryo Core Accident" awards you with 1,000,000 GP upon completion (you might have to return to Headquarters to unlock).

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/5848/aab.jpg Treat Yourself (B)

Spent 100,000 GP at the Dev Lab. I hope you used it wisely...

To earn this, you need to spend at least 100,000 GP at the Development Lab, which is cumulative. Buying items, crafting, and boosting items cost money and count towards this trophy. The easiest way to do this is by buying the Squek Hamr (must progress far enough in the story to buy) which costs 150,000 GP. You can save and reload after buying this item so that you don't waste your GP.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/5848/338.jpg Skill Collector (B)

Gathered many XTND Skill Items. Use them well and show us all what you can do!

This is earned by acquiring various Skill Items. The items must be identified first by either an Academic or using the Development Lab. This will come naturally as you play.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/5848/71d.jpg Unique Collector (B)

Gathered many Unique Items. Who knows what's still out there waiting to be discovered...?

This is earned by acquiring different items. The items must be identified first by either an Academic or using the Development Lab. This will come naturally as you play.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/5848/83a.jpg Last Muramasa (G)

Acquired Muramasa's final creation. There is nothing this blade cannot cut...

You need to acquire the item Murasama H, a level 80 item. Unlike in Operation Abyss, you can't use gamble codes for this. This is a possible drop in Lethal Hall or in the Embryo Arc. I acquired this myself in the Lethal Hall. The item has to be identified in order to earn this. The Lethal Hall tends to drop better quality items, but at the expense of much fewer fights.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/5848/3d4.jpg Forewarned Is Forearmed (B)

Left a variety of notes all across the Abyss. One day your messages will show their value...

Like in Operation Abyss and Demon Gaze, this is the only online component of the game. You can receive messages left by others and you can leave your own messages for others to see. You don't have to actually be connected to PSN to leave messages, so this can be earned offline. To leave a message, you either need the tool "Memo Coder" sold in the Development Lab, or use the Academic's spell "Set Memo". In a dungeon, head to the spot where you want to leave a memo, and press :circle:. Select "Write Memo" and you can select either "Spell" or "Item". Create your message as you like and press :triangle: to confirm. You get a message saying "Is this content acceptable?" and select "Yes" to leave the message. You get another message that says "Would you like to send this memo during the next memo update?" It doesn't matter what you select here, but selecting yes will send your message to others over PSN. You need to place a total of 10 memos to earn this, but they don't all have to be in the same dungeon or at once.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/5848/830.jpg Risk Junkie (B)

Survived 30 consecutive battles with the Encounter Gauge at max. Drink deeply of the thrill of battle!

As you progress through the story, the Encounter Gauge will be unlocked. The Encounter Gauge goes from Lvl. 0 to Lvl. 6. As you win battles, the Encounter Gauge increases slowly and eventually levels up. At higher levels, enemies are stronger and continuous encounters are more frequent. The Encounter Gauge stays the same when you leave a dungeon. When you run from a battle, the Encounter Gauge decreases by one level. The Encounter Gauge also lowers whenever you defeat an area's Wanted Variant for the first time, and it fully empties if you get wiped out. You need to win 30 battles while the Encounter Gauge is at max without the gauge getting lowered. The 30 battles do not have to be in the same dungeon, so you can always leave, heal, and return. Likely you'll get this naturally if you're level grinding, but if not, you can always return to an easy dungeon and defeat everything you see. Use the Academic's spell Neo Chain for more frequent encounters.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/5848/eb7.jpg The Power of Unity (B)

Used many Unity Skills. Working together with your allies is the key to survival.

During the story, you will be able to learn Unity Skills, which are very useful in battle. To use a Unity Skill during battle, select :left: or :right: before selecting an action for the first character, and select a skill. I highly recommend using Unity Skills as much as possible to level up the Unity Rating, which earns you more and better Unity Skills. You need to use a total of 500 Unity Skills for this trophy.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/5848/f21.jpg Barter Town (B)

Exchanged a Soul Token for another item. It's never a bad idea to do a little trading.

After completing Abyss Tower, and defeating at least one 7H, you can return to the Core Floor where you previously visited (and defeated a 7H) and unlock a door. While in the Core Floor, head to X05 Y09 (you will need float to get here). There is a marker at this location where you can exchange Soul Tokens. You have to give Soul Tokens before you are able to exchange for anything. You have to select "Speak", select "Soul Rebirth", and then select "Exchange" in order to buy anything. Once you buy anything here, this unlocks.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/5848/589.jpg Homemade Code (B)

Synthesized a variety of items. Self-reliance is the key to survival.

To synthesize an item, go to the Development Lab, select Craft, and either select Sub-disk or Member. Synthesize many items as you play, and this will unlock.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/5848/7a1.jpg Your Real Self (B)

Discovered your true self. Unexpected events have a way of revealing deeper characteristics...

I unlocked this by going to the Medical Lab then "Medical Consultation". I then selected Persona and selected a character. If you choose to fight friendly variants, it will make your characters more evil while if you choose to observe and let friendly variants leave, it will make your characters towards the good side (thank to Rozalia1 for confirming this). For best results, use a neutral character for this trophy, since as long as you've either been observing friendly variants or fighting them, their personality alignment will move in either direction.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/5848/176.jpg Healing Touch (B)

Enjoyed your time in the Medical Lab. Back to full health and feeling good!

In the Medical Lab, when you select "Rest" and a member, you can choose "Charge" (only restores MP), "Full Care" (restores MP and HP), and "Vacation" (restores MP and HP, and removes Exhaustion). To earn this, you need to use the Vacation option 10 times. It's not necessary to have anyone under Exhaustion status to use the Vacation option.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/5848/8ac.jpg Variant Disposal Specialist (B)

Defeated many Variants. It's your duty to destroy anything that would stand in your way.

To unlock this, at least 500 Variants of each type must be defeated. The types are:

  • Inhuman
  • Paranormal
  • Fauna
  • Construct
  • Mystery

To check your stats, select the following:

CPA Headquarters -> Information Terminal -> Activity History -> Battle Record

As long as you fight everything you encounter, you should have no trouble unlocking this.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/5848/1be.jpg Force Multiplier (B)

Created a second unit. You have to make sure you face every battle in the best condition possible.

Head to CPA Headquarters, and select Member Application. Select Enlist and create a character however you like. Put the character in your party. I unlocked this trophy by only having the new character in the party and heading back to the classroom, but there have been reports that you might have to go into a dungeon to unlock this.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/5848/1d7.jpg The First Mission (B)(H)

Finished the first mission. Your new life as part of the Xth Squad has only just begun...

Story related and cannot be missed.

This unlocks upon completing the mission "Aoi Shrine Investigation". After you accept this mission from CPA Headquarters, head to City Map, select Gakudo Park, select Dispatch and then Aoi Shrine Road. Head to coordinates X09 Y15 and there will be cutscenes. You will have a fight as you exit, but none of the fights should be difficult at this point. Once you get back, head to CPA Headquarters, select Mission, and select the "Aoi Shrine Investigation" to turn in this mission and earn this trophy.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/5848/30d.jpg Bridge to the Past (B)(H)

Crossed the gulf of time to return to Tokyo. The battle to change the future has begun...

Story related and cannot be missed.

Unlocks after completing the mission "To the Abyss Tower". In the Abyss Tower, there are sections where you have to pick the shortest route to proceed. Also, there is a quiz which you have to answer with the second option. You will need about five Enfloat spells to make it through. You cannot return to the Abyss Tower once it's completed, but there is nothing trophy related in here.

The boss at the end can cause confusion and it hits hard. Once it's defeated, there are cutscenes, and you unlock the trophy after these.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/5848/bdf.jpg Thanatos Subjugation (B)(H)

Subdued Thanatos, embodiment of certain death.

Story related and cannot be missed.

Unlocks after completing the mission "7H, Aoi Shrine".

Portal underground. Go to X01 Y03 South and check out this location (you have to go through the wall). Go to X10Y 05 North and go south for 12 straight steps, and you'll be transported elsewhere on the map. Head to the portal, and you'll be at the Core Floor dungeon. Check the ? for a boss battle "Thanatos". The boss is tough against physical attacks, and hits hard, but it's vulnerable to magic spells.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/5848/2f5.jpg Walpurgis Subjugation (B)(H)

Subdued Walpurgis, embodiment of enchantment.

Story related and cannot be missed.

Unlocks after completing the mission "7H, Haunted Hospital".

Once in the Haunted Hospital, you must defeat enough enemies before you can use the elevator to go down to B1F. Check the elevator every once in a while to see if you have defeated enough. Once you unlock the elevator, head to B1F X16 Y15, change the channel and there's an easy battle. Go to the elevator, and select 3F, then 1F, then 2F, then 3F again. After this, something will come loose in the elevator and you'll be able to reach 4F. Go through the portal and to the question mark to fight X-III Wizar and Walpurgis. Wizar likes to use poison attacks, Walpurgis has an attack that reduces your Unity by a lot. This should not be a difficult fight though.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/5848/49b.jpg Fuhrer Subjugation (B)(H)

Subdued Fuhrer, embodiment of destruction.

Story related and cannot be missed.

Unlocks after completing the mission "7H, Abyss Line".

Head to Tokyo Mid Hills and dispatch to Abyss Subway Line. Go to X10 Y15 and face east and press :cross: to jump off. You will fight Fuhrer. This can be a tough battle. Fuhrer can occasionally hit a party member with a critical attack and cause instant death to a party member. Fuhrer also has an attack that reduces your Unity Rating.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/5848/04b.jpg Buccaneer Subjugation (B)(H)

Subdued Buccaneer, embodiment of pillaging.

Story related and cannot be missed.

Unlocks after completing the mission "Green Museum Search".

Go to Tokyo Mid Hills. Then Green Museum. In this map, you'll need to collect at least 10 Green Orb Fragments and create a Green Orb before you can proceed to the boss. Make sure to have a Curry Care on hand to give to Hachi to earn an item. There are 11 Green Orb Fragments total, so you can miss an orb. Here are the orb fragment locations:

Zone A

  • X07 Y00 - There is a fight here.
  • X02 Y16 - There is a fight here, and you actually earn 2 orbs. There is also Hachi scene where you can use Curry Care to gain the Hachi Workout item. Equipping this item increases Variants' level, so it's useful for leveling up.

Zone B

  • X03 Y15 - There are some bodies here, and a fight.

Zone C

  • X13 Y00 - No fight.
  • X02 Y11 - No fight.
  • X00 Y03 - There is a fight here.

Zone D

  • X14 Y18 - All party members take damage before the fight, so heal up before heading here. Win the fight.
  • X19 Y08 - No fight.

Zone F

  • X11 Y04 - Check with :cross:. There is a fight.
  • X04 Y11 - No fight.

After collecting 10 fragments, craft the Green Orb in the Development Lab. Once the Green Orb is created, you can head to the center area. Head to the portal at X17 Y0. In the Core Floor, you'll fight Buccaneer. Buccaneer can kidnap units, so have some Riser Decoy items ready.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/5848/446.jpg Joker Subjugation (B)(H)

Subdued Joker, embodiment of illusion.

Story related and cannot be missed.

Unlocks upon completing the mission "7H, GHQ Cemetery"

Head to Aoyama Road then GHQ Cemetery - Main Gate. To advance, you need to trigger some switches. To proceed to the West Catacombs, trigger the switch at X17 Y08 West and the switch at X06 Y16 West. You will fall through. Go through the short passageway and you'll reach a party of the cemetery that was previously inaccessible. There is another staircase to go down, and you will be told to abandon the mission. Choose to ignore the "warning" and continue.

You have to head to the Satan area. When you reach the bell, ignore Kaito's and Noriko's suggestions and ring the bell twice. This opens up a portal in Catacombs - Central at X10 Y10. Head to the portal.

Select "Refuse" and then select "Yes", and then "Defy". You will fight Joker. Attacks can cause confusion. He can also shuffle your party. He likes to hide behind reinforcements, so range attacks are useful. He can use a spell that makes him immune to ranged attacks, but it can be nullified with the Academic's Default Target spell.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/5848/7a8.jpg Dreadnought Subjugation (B)(H)

Subdued Dreadnought, embodiment of onslaught.

Story related and cannot be missed. This unlocks upon completing the mission "7H, Geomatrix"

Head to Sakura TV and dispatch to Geomatrix. The first floor is nothing special. On the second floor, at the door, you need to select "Dread" for the first question and "Nought" for the second question to continue.

On the third floor, there will be a sniper. As you approach the sniper, the sniper will shoot you, and you'll take some damage. If you try to approach the sniper again from the same, you will get shot and all members will take 9,999 damage, thus wiping out your party. The trick to this is that you will have to approach the sniper until you get shot with some damage, and go around to the opposite end and then approach him again, and keep doing this until you can safely reach the sniper. You can use some Power Recorders to be on the safe side.

After this, you will fight Dreadnought himself. Dreadnought hits often and hard, so you will be healing a lot. If you somehow have the Range Break spell or item, it would help a lot. Dreadnought can also summon backup Variants if the battle takes too long.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/5848/315.jpg Shinma Subjugation (B)(H)

Subdued Shinma, embodiment of slaughter.

Story related and cannot be missed.

After defeating Hikaru, there will be a mission called "7H, Shinobazu Prison". In this mission, you'll head out to Asoba City and then Shinobazu Prison. In order to continue deeper into the dungeon, you'll need the Prison Key, located at X17 Y02 1BF. You will fight Maiden, who can kidnap your units, so have some Riser Decoys ready.

Shinma is located at 5BF at X06 Y13. There are plenty of Shock Tiles on Dispel Zones which means that you'll be taking damage. You should bring a few healing items and use them to heal up before battle. You also won't be able to put any buffs on your party before the fight. The fight itself isn't in a Dispel zone, so spells work normally during the battle. You should have Anti-Shuffle and Anti-Default during the battle because Shinma likes to shuffle your party and get rid of your buffs. After you win, this trophy unlocks.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/5848/fb3.jpg Human Will (S)(H)

Hikaru overcame Kieru's spell and chose the path of humanity. Her power is the will to be human...

Story related and cannot be missed.

After defeating Dreadnought, back at the hub, use Contact and select "Go to Academy Roof". You will fight Hikaru. Hikaru can use Code Breaker so prepare for that. After Hikaru is defeated, this trophy unlocks.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/5848/6fc.jpg Peace and Sacrifice (G)(H)

Destroyed the Embryo and restored peace to the world. But the cost was perhaps too great...

Story related and cannot be missed.

This is unlocked upon completing the final mission of the main story, named "Embryo Elimination". In this mission, you have to go Academy Station and dispatch to Babyl Sphere. Go through the dungeon and you'll reach the Embryo. Remember that in the Embryo, you can't use Call Portal nor Return Gate, so you have to use normal portals to leave. On the final floor of the Embryo, you have to fight all 7H (except for Shinma) again before unlocking the very final dungeon to fight the final battle. You don't have to fight all 7H in one go, so you can leave the dungeon to heal/save and come back to finish off the rest.

The final battle consists of two different battles. The Kieru and Vanishment battle, and the D.E.M. and Deus Gears battle. D.E.M. can summon 7H as reinforcements. Once you win this battle, you get cutscenes and credits. After the credits, you will be back at the hub and this trophy unlocks.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/5848/d9c.jpg Mascot Capture Complete (S)(H)

Safely captured Mu'La. Masa is elated to welcome her lost family home again!

Story related and cannot be missed.

This is unlocked upon completing the first post-game mission, "Mascot Capture Order".

Head to Xth Subway Line and there will be a portal there. You'll be in the Membrane Hall. The boss is located at X14 Y17 in the Membrane Hall. The boss starts with three rabbits and the boss can also cause burnout in allies.

Turn in the mission at headquarters and there will be some cutscenes and the trophy unlocks afterwards.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/5848/3a2.jpg A New Way (S)(H)

Returned to the past to create the future you desire. A new road is open to Hikaru and Kieru...

Story related and cannot be missed.

This is unlocked upon completing the second post-game mission, "Rescue Hikaru Nanase". After you accept this mission, use Contact and select Go to Academy Roof". You will fight a stronger version of D.E.M. again. You won't be able to buff your party before the fight. Win and unlock this trophy.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/5848/241.jpg The Final Trial (S)(H)

Completed Tenaki Muramasa's final mission. The Xth Squad will continue to safeguard the future...

Story related and cannot be missed.

The post-game mission "Muramasa Hall Finale" will be given as an assignment instead of a main mission. You have to head to Muramasa Hall and defeat Final Daughter on 10F. You have to clear a shortest route maze on 9F to reach 10F. After winning the battle against Final Daughter, there will be some cutscenes and the trophy unlocks shortly after.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/5848/92c.jpg The Strongest Code Riser (G)(H)

Proved yourself worthy against Captain Alice. From this moment on, you are the strongest Code-Riser!

Story related and cannot be missed.

This unlocks upon completing the post-game mission "A Call from Alice". After you accept this mission, use Contact while in the Classroom and select "To the Locked Classroom". You will be fighting Alice and the default party from Operation Abyss here. You will not be able to buff beforehand.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/5848/332.jpg Embryo Walker (S)(H)

Completed all Embryo Arcs. You now know the Embryo like the back of your hand.

Sometime after completing a "A Call from Alice" (just go around getting into fights), when you return back to Headquarters, you'll get the mission "7H Repeat Elimination". After defeating all of the 7H again, you submit this mission. This opens up all of the Embryo Arcs. There are 7 Embryo Arcs, and they can either be accessed through random portals on certain maps (won't appear on the map screen), or via the Babyl Sphere. If you try to access via the Babyl Sphere, you'll have to fight the appropriate 7H again, but once they die, they won't be resurrected again, and besides, you'll need to defeat all 7H again to access Lethal Hall. Here is how to access each Embryo Arc and how to complete them:

I

Shinobazu Prison

Babyl Sphere - Shimna

The boss is located at X15 Y07. There are dispel zones located in depths in the southwest part of the map, but they are not necessary to pass through there. Those areas can only be safely passed with all current party members equipping items with the float ability. The boss is Golden Rock, and it's quite strong. The Clone Nono and Clone Yuyu can be contracted.

II

Green Museum

Babyl Sphere - Buccaneer

The boss is located at X10 Y18. This dungeon is nothing special. The boss is Leviathan with Killer Orca (2), Eelvern (5), Death Flipper (3). Easy fight.

III

GHQ Cemetary

Babyl Sphere - Wizer & Walpurgis

The boss is located at X10 Y11. You need to head to X08 Y07 and use Enfloat here because it's not in a dispel zone. The boss is Reuse Y Wizar & Reuse Pulsar.

IV

Haunted Hospital

Babyl Sphere - Joker

The boss is located at X01 Y15. You need to pull levers at X07 Y02 and X09 Y14. There are passable walls at X19 Y03, X07 Y08, X08 Y12, X07 Y15, X19 Y08, and X06 Y19. The bosses are Soul Eater, Soul Rebirth, and some Code Erasers. Soul Eater is weak to light and Soul Rebirth is weak to dark.

V

Geomatrix

Babyl Sphere - Dreadnaught

The boss is located at X09 Y10. This dungeon is mostly one way doors and dark areas, but other than that, it's nothing special. The boss is Replica Z Wizer with 3 Replica Feathers.

VI

Aoi Shine

Babyl Sphere - Thanatos

The boss is located at X02 Y04. This dungeon has a lot of doors. The boss consists of 2 Muramasa Rabbits, 3 Eraser Grids, and 4 Code Erasers, which are nothing special at this point of the game.

VII

Embryo

Babyl Sphere - Fuhrer

The boss is located at X01 Y16. There are a few locations where there are depths with dispel zones so be careful. Those areas can only be safely passed with all current party members equipping items with the float ability. There is a lever at X02 Y13, which is necessary to progress. The warp at X13 Y13 is the correct warp to progress. The boss is Clone Akashic.

Note: After completing any Arc, you get a cutscene when you return to headquarters and you unlock the assignment "Embryo Core Accident", which is required to unlock Lethal Hall.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/5848/0d9.jpg Poster Child For Battle (G)(H)

Conquered the Lethal Hall. *~*CONGRATULATIONS!*~*

After completing all post-game missions and assignments, you'll get the assignment "Embryo Core Accident". The 7H will once again reappear in the Embryo. The 7H are even stronger than before. Once they are defeated, you will fight Soul Eater and Soul Rebirth at the portal. Once they are defeated, the portal will take you to Lethal Hall.

Lethal Hall is a dungeon with 10 battles. There are no random battles here. If you leave this dungeon, you have to start from the first battle again. If you plan on conquering this dungeon, I recommend stocking on Power Recorders, any Decoy items, Remember Guts items, Pandora Boxes, etc. You can also equip items that lower Variant's levels to make things easier. If you have a Conjurer, you can contract the Clone Yuyu and Clone Nono from the first Lethal Hall fight to makes things much easier. After every battle, you lose some Unity Rating, so it's best to try to finish each fight with as much Unity Rating as possible. Note that the first time you finish the first wave of the fifth fight, you lose your contracts and buffs, but it won't happen in future fights, so if you really want to have Clone Yuyu and Clone Nono for later fights, you should leave after finishing the fifth fight for the first time, and start Lethal Hall again.

First fight

Clone Yuyu, Clone Nono, Nipple Bits (4), Capture Fly (4).

The Nipple Bits and Capture Flies are vulnerable to Crushwork/Multi-Crush. The Clone Yuyu and Clone Nono can be contracted, and I highly recommend contracting them if you have a Conjurer to make things easier. You can equip items that increase Variants' levels so you can contract even higher leveled enemies. If you have already used your Embryo Key, this fight will award you one, so you can always travel quickly back to the Lethal Hall.

Second fight

Golden Rock, Wyvern Beta, Wyvern Alpha, Rock Bit (4)

Rock Bits are vulnerable to Crushwork/Multi-Crush.

Third fight

Master Maiden, Princess Goblin (2), Zombie Murphy (2), Glamorous Maiden (3)

Glamorous Maidens and Zombie Murphies are vulnerable to Crushwork/Multi-Crush.

Fourth fight

Joker, Scryull, Algol, LXXII Pillar (3)

Fifth fight

This is a two part fight. The first time playing through this, between battles, there will be a cutscene, and you lose all of your buffs and contracts. If you revisit the dungeon later and fight this again, there won't be a cutscene and you won't lose your buffs/contracts in between battles.

[First wave]

Reuse Y Wizar, General Borg (2), Master Borg (3), Reuse Pulsar (4)

Master Borgs and General Borgs are vulnerable to Crushwork/Multi-Crush.

[second wave]

Walpurgis, Thanatos, Embryo Wizar (2), Super Goblin (2)

Super Goblins are vulnerable to Crushwork/Multi-Crush.

Sixth fight

Dreadnaught, Buster 2007 (3), Buster 2003 (3), EQI Monohorn

The Buster 2007s and Buster 2003s are vulnerable to Crushwork/Multi-Crush.

Seventh fight

Buccaneer, Fuhrer, Voltrus

Eight fight

Final Daughter, Shinma, Perfect Daughter (2), Daughter Guard Amatsu (2)

This fight can be painful, because they can remove your buffs easily. Even if you use Anti-Default, they might cast buff removal moves more than once in a turn.

Ninth fight

Clone Akashic, Replica Z Wizar (2), Replica Feather (4)

Tenth fight

This is a three part fight.

[First Wave]

Hikaru, Kieru, Titania (2), Hyper Jericho (4)

The Hyper Jerichoes are vulnerable to Crushwork/Multi-Crush.

[second Wave]

Vanishment, Kieru, Eraser Grid (3)

[Third Wave]

D.E.M, Deus Gear (3), Deus Gear (4)

There are three rows of enemies in this fight. Despite that, this is not much that much different from the other D.E.M fights during the story, though it's at a higher level.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/5848/267.jpg Demon Blade Muramasa (B)(H)

Obtained the mystical Demon Blade. It can bestow immense power on its wielder...for a price.

To unlock this, you need to earn the katana weapons Muramasa (level 15 weapon) and MURAMASA (level 40). Muramasa can easily be purchased from the Development Lab, and you can use Gamble Codes to earn the MURAMASA. Using Gamble Code on an item above level 40 has a high chance of creating a MURAMASA. You don't need to have both in your inventory at once.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/5848/1e9.jpg Mechanical Demon Blade (B)(H)

Obtained the mechanized sword. Driven by a powerful motor, it can tear through anything.

To unlock this, you need both the Kudou Muramasa (level 12 item) and K Muramasas-R (level 25) weapons. They are easily bought from the Development Lab as you progress in the game. You don't need to have both in your inventory at once.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/5848/94c.jpg Weapons of Ares (S)(H)

Acquired Ares' famous weapon. Become a mighty god that rules the battlefield!

To earn this, you need to acquire the following:

Axe: Mars Slash (level 39)

Torso: Mars Armor (level 39)

Legs: Mars Weg (level 39)

Head: Mars Helm (level 39)

Back: Mars Clock (level 38)

It's possible to acquire these through Gamble Code. It's not necessary to have all of these in your possession at once. To check what you're missing, go to CPA Headquarters, Information Terminal, Activity History, and then Item.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/5848/5c7.jpg God Spear Valkyrias (G)(H)

Acquired Valkyrias' godly spear. Pierce through everything!

To earn this, you need to acquire the following:

Valk Lance (level 14)

Valk Lance 2 (level 37)

Last Valk (level 78)

You can acquire the Valk Lance and Valk Lance 2 through Gamble Code. Valk Lance can also be bought from the Development Lab. The Last Valk can only be acquire through treasures in either the Embryo Arc or Lethal Hall. The Lethal Hall tends to drop higher quality items. It's not necessary to have all of these in your possession at once. To check what you're missing, go to CPA Headquarters, Information Terminal, Activity History, and then Item.

I can confirm that when you get given a choice in battles choosing fight will give you evil points, observe nothing, and leave good points.

Excellent guide, I'd have been able to judge how platinuming the game would go off this though I would explain some more party based stuff honestly. I played Abyss and had a set up where I could just fast forward the random battles no problem, but others might not work things out. The Wizard/Physician combo for example you list at the start is a good combo, but people also need to know if you're recommending such a thing that they need 40 SPI to be able to use Pandora's box whenever they want. Unity gets most of the points (and you should max SPI anyway) but always nice to note.
