I'd say 15 hours is a solid time for the platinum. Everything can be done on easy which further simplifies the races. The challenges might take some time, but most of them come naturally while trying to get a star/ finish each event once.

 

Overall a simple enough game, with a little bit of grind to get the hall of fame checklist challenges done

18-20 hours maybe to complete every race, cups and challenges.

It's a fun game, just a little repetitive. Plus there is no "story".

 

The time trials are a little challenging and apart from that some Skill checks (aka Challenges) require a bit of luck or boosting against second controller. The platinum should take 20 hours max.

Has a lot of races and a few milestones that take a while to boost with two controllers. Really luck based on projectiles you get.
