Introduction:

Killing Floor 2 is a Zombie Horde mode style game and is the second in the series made by Tripwire Interactive. After the British Government was working to develop a Super Soldier that was incapable of feeling fear and pain they shut down the research due to it being too inhumane for the test subjects. This didn't stop Kevin Clamely from continuing his research on the super soldiers. Hidden in an underground base he and his scientists continued the experiments. After his scientists beginning to leave and fearing they would tell the world he decided to use his experiments on himself. After running the experiments on himself at full power and safety off he emerged from the test as The Patriarch. He would go on with his "children" to take over the world until someone can kill him him.

Trophy wise this game is fairly straight-forward. Only 8 trophies need to actually be done online while the rest can be done offline solo if you wish. You will obtain most the trophies naturally while going for the 25 Survival Wins anything you don't manage to get can be easily boosted in VS Survival in an invite only lobby with a boosting partner. After 25 Survival Wins you should be around perk level 18-20 if you use the same perk the entire time. I personally suggest something that can deal high damage and can deal with all types of Zeds in some way. Check the Killing Floor 2 Wiki for independent strengths and weaknesses for each perk if you desire. I personally enjoy the Gunslinger Perk since it can deal high damage really quickly with dual .500 Magnums and dual Desert Eagles. Has enough range to deal with Husks and Sirens. Only down side is reload time is really slow. This isn't as much of an issue at Perk Level 15 which gives you Speedloader if you so choose.

Trophy Guide:

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/4664/68d.jpg Platinum (P)

Obtain all other trophies, and be an all around Zed slaying machine

Collect all other base game trophies. The Zeds are no match for you!

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/4664/f42.jpg Catacombs Cash (B)

Collect all the items on Catacombs

Each map has collectables around the map that you and/or your team need to shoot atleast 10 of to get the trophy for that area. This can be done in VS mode with a friend so you don’t have the threat of an AI Zed wandering around or done solo and leave a Bloater to wander around as you look since they are the slowest. If done solo offline you can pause the game to look at a walkthough if needed. Will unlock the trophy for everybody in the lobby when 10 of the collectables are obtained.

Here is the list of what is in each area:

  • Catacombs: Golden Necklace with a Dosh Symbol
  • Biotics Lab: Golden Necklace with a Dosh Symbol
  • Evacuation Point: Golden Necklace with a Dosh Symbol
  • Outpost: Golden Necklace with a Dosh Symbol
  • Prison: Bars of Soap
  • Volter Manor: Golden Necklace with a Dosh Symbol
  • Burning Paris: Golden Necklace with a Dosh Symbol
  • Farmhouse: Puppet Dolls
  • Black Forest: Purple Squid-Like Things
  • Containment Station: Golden Necklace with a Dosh Symbol
  • Infernal Realms: Eyeballs
  • Hostile Grounds: Golden Necklace with a Dosh Symbol
  • Zed Landing: Volleyballs
  • The Descent: Teddy Bears with a Hans Volter head
  • Nuked: Blue Miniature Nuclear Bombs

Harry94_ has made videos for each collectable. Click Here to see his collectible thread and for videos for each map.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/4664/f3f.jpg Dead Silence (B)

Kill a Siren before she screams

Sirens are are the female Zed that is attached to a metal cage. Once they are close enough they will scream and damage you with a sonic blast. You need to kill her before she gets too close and screams. Easiest to do in maps with long stretches so you can see her coming.

If you are having trouble with this trophy, playing a berserker or something else that doesn't have ranged attacks, you can boost this in VS Survival matches with a friend. Just need to get lucky and have them spawn as a Siren on one of the rounds. Credit to swotam for this tip.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/4664/9e9.jpg Benefactor (S)

Give up 1000 dosh during a multiplayer match

While in a multiplayer game press :right: to toss Dosh, each toss is 50 Dosh, until you run out. Throw all your Dosh after buying weapons, armor and ammo before the boss wave to other players.

Win 1 Survival multiplayer match

See Team Player 25 for more information.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/4664/67d.jpg It's Only a Flesh Wound (B)

Kill your first Fleshpound

Simply kill your first Fleshpound. They are one of the two large Zed enemies and has a big glowing orange core in their chest and have two spinning mace-like hands. If playing in multiplayer you need to be the one to have the killing blow.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/4664/181.jpg Hack & Slash (B)

Kill your first Scrake

Simply kill your first Scrake. They are one of the two large Zed enemies and holds a chainsaw in its right hand. If playing in multiplayer you need to be the one to have the killing blow.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/4664/fca.jpg Hold Out (B)

Weld a door to 100%

You can close and weld doors shut to prevent Zeds from getting through for awhile. When going through a door hold :circle: to close the door and bring up the welder and then hold :r2: to weld the door shut. The trophy will pop once the door is at 100% weld.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/4664/f0d.jpg I Got Your Back (B)

Heal a teammate with the Syringe

Equip the Syringe by holding :triangle: and pressing  and then find a teammate who have taken damage and use the syringe on them with :r2:.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/4664/718.jpg Quick On The Trigger (G)

Kill the Patriarch before he has a chance to heal

This can be easily done in VS mode. If you need a Boosting Partner check the thread.

In VS mode simply get to the end of the match and the other player will always spawn as The Patriarch. Hit him with a few shots and have them quit out of the match. It will count as you killing The Patriarch without him healing. This will also unlock (S) VS Human Win.

In normal play once the Patriarch gets to about 35% HP left he will cloak and try to run away. If you can trap him in a room or between players and kill him before he has a chance to escape and heal. The person who gets the killing blow is the only one who will have the trophy pop.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/4664/3eb.jpg Die Volter (S)

Kill Dr. Hans Volter for the first time

Dr. Hans Volter is one of the two possible bosses that can appear on the boss wave. You need to be the player to get the killing blow for the trophy to pop.

Volter has 4 "stages" after taking his health down to 60% he will get a overshield which you must blow up or he will grab you and heal. This also happens at 41% and 25% HP. Each time you destroy the overshield he will get more aggressive going from Green - Yellow - Orange - Red. His weak points are the glowing orb in his chest, backpack and head. I personally like the Gunslinger perk using the Dual .500 Magnums and Dual Desert Eagles for the boss fights and I use M1911s to take out the smaller stuff that spawns if needed.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/4664/36c.jpg Team Player 10 (S)

Win 10 Survival multiplayer matches

See Team Player 25 for more information.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/4664/207.jpg VS Zed Win (S)

Win a VS Survival Match playing as the Zeds

This is possible in an invite only VS Survival match with a boosting partner. If you need a Boosting Partner check the thread. Once the match starts have the human player stand there and the Zeds simply kill him.

Or enter a VS Survival match and the teams will take turns playing as Zeds and Humans. Simply win a game as the Zeds. This one is easier than VS Human Win.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/4664/5fc.jpg VS Human Win (S)

Win a VS Survival Match playing as the Humans

This is possible in an invite only VS Survival match with a boosting partner. If you need a Boosting Partner check the thread. Clear all the waves and kill the player controlled Patriarch for the trophy to pop.

Or enter a VS Survival match and the teams will take turns playing as Zeds and Humans. VS Human Win is much more difficult and I wouldn’t suggest trying it in legit lobbies until you are perk lvl 20+.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/4664/39a.jpg Mr Perky 5 (S)

Reach level 20 on any perk

See Mr Perky 25 for more information.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/4664/0eb.jpg Mr Perky 25 (G)

Reach level 25 on any perk

To reach level 25 with a perk you are going to need a total of 285,228 XP. I found Hard difficulty gives the best XP/minute. You can either keep playing the game in online lobbies with other players or use the method shown in Hell on Earth with the match set to Hard difficulty and Short match (4 waves) for the best XP per time since boss gives 1694 xp each kill.

I found using The Outpost I could finish a full Hard Short wave mission in 3/4 the time as on Burning Paris. I would advise using The Outpost unless you need the enemy to be short range or you are unable to handle Dr. Hans Volter Hard solo.

If you can reliably kill Dr. Hans Volter on HoE Short solo you might want to do that as it is ~305xp/min compared to ~278xp/min on Hard. Credit to Gage for the tip.

Below is the XP per kill on each difficulty on each enemy.

http://i.imgur.com/Sogo4PY.png

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/4664/a64.jpg Team Player 25 (G)

Win 25 Survival multiplayer matches

For this trophy you need to win 25 Survival matches, this needs to be done with atleast 1 other player. Online Survival solo does not work.

If you are having trouble use a boosting partner and the method shown in Hell on Earth to easily clear matches.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/4664/02e.jpg Hard (S)

Win any match on Hard Difficulty

Win a match on Hard difficulty. There are more enemies, they deal more damage, have more health and you get less Dosh for kills compared to Normal.

See Hell on Earth for information on the Outpost Glitch.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/4664/e1e.jpg Suicidal (G)

Win any match on Suicidal Difficulty

Win a match on Suicidal difficulty. There are more enemies, they deal more damage, have more health and you get less Dosh for kills compared to Hard.

See Hell on Earth for information on the Outpost Glitch.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/4664/e62.jpg Hell on Earth (G)

Win any match on Hell on Earth Difficulty

Win a match on Hell on Earth difficulty. There are more enemies, they deal more damage, have more health and you get less Dosh for kills compared to Suicidal. This is the hardest trophy but there is a glitch to allow you to get through fairly easily.

For the Outpost Glitch you will want to go into Online Matchmaking, set prefered Map to Outpost, Difficulty to Hell on Earth, Length to Short and Permissions to Invite Only. Once you start there is an area in the garage that allows you to stand in the corner and none of the Zeds can hit you, with the exception of the boss Dr. Hans Volter, if he spawns ducking in the corner with :l3: works, still can sometimes hit you with bombs if not positioned right in the corner. Video below will show the method used to beat Hell on Earth via Outpost Glitch. Note: Some Zeds can actually get into the corner while they flail around attacking each other. I have seen Stalker, Gorefast, Alpha Clot, Slasher and Bloater manage to glitch into the spot rarely and this DOES NOT work on Offline Solo. See video below for location.

[ame]

[/ame]

If you don't like the Outpost Glitch or are playing a Berserker and need to be closer or seem to be having trouble with Dr. Hans Volter you can try the Burning Paris glitch. You need to duck in the corner with :l3: or the Zeds are more likely to hit you. Buy the Eviscerator as a berserk class so you can shoot the boss with it also. Credit to Aeriou for this tip. Note: You can still get hit here also, I have run a couple tests and have been hit by Bloater, Alpha Clot, Gorefast Siren and Dr. Hans Volter boss. Unlike on Outpost though Dr. Hans Volter doesn't stay there and keep attacking he will begin running around the map, this DOES NOT work in offline solo. See video below for location.

You seriously need to elaborate a lot more on this guide. One little detail, the collectables on prison are not dogtags, but bars of soap ;)

Also throwing money costs you 50. Just a small detail too. Most importantly, especially for volter, add some tips for beating him. Best solo perk. Him having 4 stages during the fight etc. Otherwise it looks solid

Are they bars of soap? They looked like dog tags to me. :p I'll add Volter information. I only actually fought him like 2 twice before today so I didn't know what all he did.

Huh, you list 31 offline trophies, then you pile like 20 underneath the online walkthrough :shrugs:

And I'm not being rude or anything, but it's looking bare as bones.

The only ones you need to be connected to their servers to get are VS Human win, VS Zed Win, Team Player 1, Team Player 10 and Team Player 25. The rest can be done offline solo. I turned my internet connection off to test and make sure I could still play. However I just realized I forgot to put the I Got Your Back as an online trophy so I'll fix that. And there really isn't much to the game in terms of trophies. It's all fairly straightforward other than killing Patriarch without him healing and then He'll on Earth difficulty. It's quite a simple game.

As for piling them under "play online" you will get most of the offline trophies doing that. Since the game is the same playing online and offline minus having team mates.

Aren't you technically misleading people though? By saying there are 7 online trophies in the overview, then listing 16 underneath the online step.

I'm not arguing, but really the overview should match the step by step when it comes to online.

Those are all trophies that you'll earn while doing the 25 multiplayer wins, short of just standing around and doing nothing. That's why they're in that section. The description could be expanded a bit to say that, but their inclusion in that spot isn't misleading to someone who's actually playing the game.

Guide looks good, could use some fleshing out a bit, it looks a bit sparse. I understand that the game is pretty straightforward but still, you need to beef it up a bit. Also, the number of online trophies listed should match whatever you put in the walkthrough, and you should use whatever number the guide template fills in by default.

A few things to consider adding:

You can kill Volter solo if you play an offline solo match. The benefit of offline is that you are the only one there so you will definitely get the killing blow. I got the trophy last night on a 4 round game on The Descent (but the map doesn't matter). I killed him as a Level 11 SWAT and it wasn't that difficult really.

Collectibles can be obtained in an offline solo match. The benefit to this is that you can pause the game while you are referring to the collectible video, something you can't do when playing online, even if you are the only person in the match.

You can get the Dead Silence (kill a siren before she screams) trophy in a VS match with a friend, provided that the friend spawns as a siren. Just have them stay away from you and tell them not to use the scream attack. I got this one that way last night when playing with my son.

For collectibles, on the map The Descent there are 3 collectibles per level so you have to finish multiple rounds to get 10. In the videos Harry94 posted he recommends playing a 10 round match since the levels are randomized (after the first one) and if you are following his guides you will need to do that, preferably offline solo so that you can pause, so that you can find the correct level in his video and look for the collectibles until you get 10.

team player 10 and 25 = still glitched

No issues here, I was keeping track of my wins in online matches with more than one player and it popped exactly when I expected it to.

As others have said, you cannot get this playing online by yourself in an invite only match. Not sure if that's what you're doing, but if so you have to play with at least one other player.

You can play with a friend or boosting partner in an invite only match and those wins will count towards the trophy. Assuming no losses, you're looking at around 8 hours of playing, with each game lasting approximately 20 minutes.

For the Burning Paris exploit, I would add a tip that the eviscerator is extremely good to have during the boss waves, because when they do run you can shoot them with it. The blades hang around on the floor so you can do a quick lap up the stairs for ammo to keep shooting them with. Nothing they hit you with will kill you in one hit because the boxes spot isn't considered being in the map. You might see a hit indicator but even the grenade barrage will do minimal damage.

You always will want to stress that you need to crouch and be in online matchmaking, or it doesn't work. Also, for those in Europe, some people have found you need your region to be US East.

Is the eviscerator a berserk weapon? I don't play that class at all so I got no idea. Also swore I had crouch and be in online matchmaking in there...if not I'll add it now.

Yes, it's a berserker weapon. Unless you're level 15+ it's worth switching to the class to take advantage of farming the level in my opinion. Berserker gets an ability at level 10 that increases the damage and speed of melee attacks, which would only make the grind faster using this method.

And you might. I got distracted while writing my reply and I couldn't remember if you did or not.
