Lil_Mermaid_Girl
Road Map: Overview: Estimated trophy difficulty: 5/10 (Platinum Difficulty Rating) Offline trophies: 24 (10(B), 8(S), 5(G), 1(P)) Online trophies: 4 (3(S), 1(G)) Approximate amount of time to Platinum: 26-35hrs if you boost the online trophies but much long if you try to get them legit (Estimated Time to Platinum) Minimum number of playthroughs: 1 + 50 Ranked Matches. Number of missable trophies: 5 - Battlegear Curator, Mugic Curator, No Secret, Creature Ruler and Tribe Collector. Glitched trophies: None Does difficulty affect trophies?: No Do trophies stack?: No Do cheat codes disable trophies?: No cheats available. Introduction: You can get all the single player trophies one playthrough but some are missable and once you have moved on past certain points in the game. you cannot go back so if you miss a secret area then you will have to replay the game from the start. The game also loads without much warning and no option to back up so make sure you have everything in that particular area before you progress. Walkthrough: Step 1: Play through the single player campaign There isn't much to say as the single player game is very straightforward. Make sure you walk through all the paths in each area so you collect everything. Your mini-map will fill in as you explore so you can easily see where you have and haven't explored so far. However, if you save and come back, the map will be erased and you will have to start refilling it in. When you're near something important (Mugic, battles etc.) a red square will appear on the screen. The darker it is the closer you are to the item. Also make sure to check your logbook (Select button) to see how your progress is in that area on collected Mugics, Battlegears and battles won as all these are potentially missable affecting trophies in the game. There is also a listing for Mugic Fragments, you can ignore that as it is story related and none can be missed. If you are thorough in your playthrough you shouldn't have any trouble finding the required Mugics, Secret Areas, Battlegears, and winning all the battles in the game. Everything is straightforward and most items require only a little bit of extra exploring. Just make sure you fill in your mini map completely and walk down paths that aren't the direction the game tells you need to go to progress the story (press to see what direction you should be going down and go the opposite way first to make sure you don't miss any paths). You will earn the following trophies during this step: Novice Creature Collector Novice Mugic Collector Apprentice Creature Collector Found Maxxor Apprentice Battlegear Collector Apprentice Mugic Collector Master Creature Collector Pro Battlegear Collector Pro Creature Collector Master Mugic Collector The Break Out Pro Mugic Collector Apprentice Creature Curator Tribe Collector Battlegear Curator Apprentice Mugic Curator Mugic Curator Creature Curator Defeated Shadow Takinom Into the Gothos Tower No Secret Game Over Creature Ruler Step 2: Boost the online trophies Now is the time to go for the online trophies but you will need a boosting partner as the servers are deserted. Boosting Ranked Matches will ultimately give you the following trophies: Novice online player Apprentice online player Master online player Online Ruler Ruler of them all Step 3: Cleanup Once you have all the boosted trophies you should also have your platinum. However if you missed any single player trophies in your first playthrough, you will have to start the single player story again to get them. Select "Recon Force" Hover over Ario Choose Attack Select Toxic Guest (scroll all the way down for it) against opponent's Malvadine (instant kills it) Hover over the 2nd Ario Choose Attack Select Toxic Guest against opponent's Ario (instant kills it) Hover over Malvadine Choose Attack Select Power Pulse (scroll all the way down for it) again opponent's 2nd Ario (instant kills it) Hover over Tiaanne Choose Ability Select Sacrifice against opponent's Owayki (they take 25 damage and your Tiaanne will die) Hover over Owayki Choose Magic Select Song of EmberNova (scroll to the bottom) against opponent's Owayki Hover over Ario Choose Attack Select Unsanity to damage the opponent's Owayki Hover over 2nd Ario Choose Attack Select Unsanity to damage the opponent's Owayki (this kills it and you win) Turn Loser Player: Select "Recon Force" During your first turn hover over Tiaanne Choose Ability Select Sacrifice and hit anyone (this will deal 25 damage but kills your monster making it one less monster to kill). Use taunts for the rest of your turns to basically skip your turn. It should be noted that the first person in the lobby will always go first but this doesn't matter as long as you follow the above method. Boosting to 50 wins will take about 4-6 hours with this method. Note: Disconnects and rage quits don't count as a win, because you need to see the win result screen for it to count towards the trophies. Lil_Mermaid_Girl
http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/285/03.jpg No Secret Found all the secret locations in the game In the game there are secret areas. They usually aren't hard to find and you should find all while you are exploring looking for all the Mugics and Battlegears. Make sure you find all the secret areas in each area before you move to the next story area. You can check to see your progress in each area by pressing Select then viewing the logbook. http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/285/04.jpg Creature Curator Found all the different Creatures in the game If you have scanned all different types of creatures you will get this trophy after the first fight with Takinom at the same time you get the Defeated Shadow Takinom trophy. You need to scan each creature you come across at least once to 100% and win the battle. It is best to scan them the first battle you encounter them since some only appear in 1 or 2 battles. http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/285/05.jpg Creature Ruler Defeated all the Creatures in Story Mode You will need to win every battle in the game. Make sure you win all battles before leaving the area. You can check to see your progress in each area by pressing , then viewing the logbook. If you have defeated every creature, then the trophy will unlock after the credits have finished. http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/285/06.jpg Game Over Finished the game in Story Mode Story related, can't be missed. This unlocks after you win the last battle in Gothos Tower. http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/285/07.jpg Tribe Collector Scanned and refined at least one Creature from every Tribe You must have scanned at least one creature from each tribe in the game and refined at least one from each tribe. Creatues in the game are sorted into tribes and there are four tribes: OverWorld, Mipedian, Danian and UnderWorld. About halfway through the game you will get the ability to refine creatures. You need refine points to do this and the points will then start falling as red orbs from bugs you defeat in the game world. In order to refine a creature you will need three scans of the same creature and the scans need to be the same level (you can tell what level a creature is by how many stars are on the card). You get scans by scanning in battle (hold when the creature attacks and follow the on screen circle with the left analog stick) until it reaches 100%. You need to do that three times for the same creature so you have three cards. If they aren't the same level you will have to keep scanning when you come across that creature in later battles. To refine, go: => logbook => Army Editor. The top spot tells you how many scans you have of the creature and that scans level. Press to go to the refining screen and move three scans into the spots on the left, then press . Once you have done this for a creature from each of the four tribes the trophy will unlock. olsen77
Dude, enough. Would you like to know why your guides weren't stuck? Because the Guide Team didn't get to look at them before you took them down!!! You submitted them and then about a week later YOU decided that we thought they weren't good enough. YOU made the decision to remove your guides, not us. We had other guides to look, so yours were at the bottom of the list. The Guide Team consists of TWO people. Two. Two people. They are responsible for looking at every new guide submitted to the site. Give them a break if they don't get to your guide after a week. Enough of this side discussion. Heed funky's request to get this discussion back on topic. Any other problems you have Zero, PM me. Do not post it here.

Roughdawg4
Don't blame it on the question lol Ranked Battle refers to the online portion. You have to face an opponent 50 times in a ranked battle to get all the online trophies.
