This walkthrough will show you how to complete the game to 100% and get all the trophies in one playthrough, with some clever saves.

You will unlock along the way:

8 Endings

16 Books Read

22 Notes

5 Sabot Maker steps

33 Intuitions

16 Events

15 Trophies

A few notes to be aware of before starting:

Before starting the game, make sure that the help feature is disabled in the Help & Options menu. As long as you don't enable it, you will get the trophy for finishing the game without using the help feature.

You can combine intuitions to unlock other intuitions, but don't do it until before reaching the last room, or you may miss 1 or 2 endings.

Watch out for the events! They are missable and you have to unlock them before moving into the next room, or they may not appear anymore. When you reach a new room, it's best to wait until you unlock them all before doing anything else.

You can lose all your sanity and "die", especially when events appear. Make sure to save often, but don't use all the slots available, as you will need multiple clever saves in order to unlock all the endings.

This guide will tell you where to save in order to get 100% completion, I recommend that you save the game often but don't overwrite the saves mentioned in this guide, unless it's said so.

You can track your progress only if you get an ending. There is a trick to get it though if you're unsure or want avoid missing anything. (You won't miss anything if you follow strictly this guide!)

Tracking Progress... you can see your progress on the game over screen which you can access by saving your game then exiting the house via the "Main Door" or "Attic Door". This is how I kept track of my progress and avoided missing anything.

Don't forget to save your game before doing that as it will trigger an ending!

Special thanks:

ClungePumper for the trophy guide.

Marona and Gamegenie for their walkthrough on Steam.

xblakestone for some helpful tips.

#8: approx 10% (I was damaged by something else along with the event).

Thanks! Glad it helped! :)

I could add which events are harmful, but I'm pretty sure you can avoid being damaged in the majority of them if you don't move when it happens. I had a hard time unlocking the ending #4 because of that :p

Your % are interesting though!

Just completed this with 102% using the guide. There were a few inaccuracies such as "return to workshop" which should have been "return to attic" and a few missing steps etc. but overall very good, thanks.

Events... many events are linked to specific spots in each room and occur when you hear the audible-rumbling. Example "Event 06/16: Pile of rocks on the floor" - you need to be standing next to the "symbol on the wall" to trigger that specific event. It would be good to list these ideal spots.

Health... I wasn't sure if this was important or not - it isn't. Many of the events will injure you and the wooden-woman will randomly appear and injure you. I did notice that you regain some health when you enter the "Temple" and again when you enter "Anna's Room".

Tracking Progress... you can see your progress on the game over screen which you can access by saving your game then exiting the house via the "Main Door" or "Attic Door". This is how I kept track of my progress and avoided missing anything.

Thanks for the feedback! If you can remember where the missing steps are, I will update them.

For the events I've copied the trophy guide descriptions, they look pretty clear except the one you're talking about, I will add the location.

Health is definitely important as you can die if too many events injure you. Some other things that are needed to advance in the game can injure you and you might get stuck if you don't have enough health. That's why I said to save often. But if you don't go around too much and strictly follow this guide, you won't have any problem with that.

Thanks for the tracking progress, it's not a game over screen though, it's 2 of the endings :p That's a nice trick though, I will add this in the guide.

From memory the missing steps where towards the end "Grotto"

Ending 06 - Go near the wooden mannequins to get another ending.

After interacting with the wooden mannequins (use axe) you need to back-track and take the first right (where the black mist was) to end the game

Ending 07 - Walk until you see a fork in the road and go to the left. Continue until you see a trail of candles. Go through it and continue to get an ending.

The first left takes you to the wooden mannequins, the first right takes you to the trail of candles however there will be a black mist there, you need to interact with the wooden mannequins (use axe) to remove the black mist.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Regarding Health... what I meant was, yes it matters if you get injured enough that you die, but no it doesn't matter regarding trophies or endings etc. so you could finish the game with 1% health and this does not affect anything.

The ending 6 is correct, you get it if you didn't combine enough intuitions and after revealing the path in the grotto, the wooden mannequins will still be here and you will unlock an ending when you touch them. :)

I fixed the ending 7 though, it's the same ending than 8 the only difference is that for ending 8 you have to combine all the intuitions and not for 7. I forgot that you had to use the axe on the assassin, I've updated it.

Regarding Health... what I meant was, yes it matters if you get injured enough that you die, but no it doesn't matter regarding trophies or endings etc. so you could finish the game with 1% health and this does not affect anything.

Ah yeah I get it now. :)

Thanks for the walkthrough! Only problem I had was getting the 'Just a Scratch' ending, because there was absolutely impossible for me to clear the dark mist before getting red vision while following the walkthrough. Took me three speedruns to finally reach the door and not get red vision right afterwards. It was absolutely infuriating from the game to trigger red vision right after clearing the dark mist. My time was 7:31 when it finally worked.

Also I had to reload some saves when getting hurt by the mannequins. Took me too long to realize that and I was really low on health after watching the events.

But other than that, great walkhthrough! You also wrote 'book' in French in one instance by the way :p

Yeah that part can be tricky following a walkthrough, I'm glad it helped you though :)

I fixed that french part, good thing it wasn't a whole sentence :p

I know that this thread is old but I'm playing pc version and I've tried like 10 times to get al the achievements. After I formatted my pc I had to do it again etc. Now with this guide I've got everything but 1 freaking note. And because of it being 21/22 I'll have to play it yet again and get all the freaking random events again. I've all the books so this note isn't related to books I guess but I realy don't remember where did I miss it. Any ideas how to figure it out or I have to play it through all over again? I've 13 hours playtime already and I just want to get last 2 achievements and uninstall the game cuz I'm getting close to depression now.

No idea what you're missing unfortunately but all notes are in the guide and as no one ever said they were missing one, following it closely should give you all trophies/achievements.

I followed it as good as I could but after that many hours I guess I was just tired of the game. I guess it's one of examine things note because I collected and read all the books. Either something bugged for me or I miss with reloading all the saves and stuff. Had to reload many times cuz events bugged for me unfortunatelly. Anyway thanks for Your reply I guess I'll give it another try later when I'm ready to play it again.
