Oceanhorn: Monster of Uncharted Seas is an isometric action-adventure game that was influenced by the popular The Legend of Zelda series. In Oceanhorn, you take on the role of the unnamed protagonist (commonly referred to by NPCs as “the kid”) and are tasked with slaying Oceanhorn, a mechanical beast that roams the high seas, after your father’s disappearance. To do this, you will need to sail to the various broken islands of Arcadia and gather the three sacred emblems of Earth, Ocean, and Sol, while uncovering the truth about what happened to the kingdom.

Overall, this is a relaxing, non-stressful game that never asks too much of the player. None of the trophies are particularly difficult, but the one most likely to give you trouble is Fish Sticks, as some of the fish are rare or hard to catch. I suggest that you read the tips in the trophy description for the fishing mini-game. Other than that, there isn't much to look out for, other than exploring each island for treasure. (You may not be able to explore every island thoroughly on your first visit. You will also need upgrades in order to access certain areas.) There's a linear progression to the game, but you can get most of the trophies in any order and none are missable. If you defeat the final boss, don't worry, as you can reload your save and continue playing from where you left off, so you'll never be locked out of a trophy.

Bug Report: There have been two reports of problems with the game. One user has reported an issue with Crimson Collector (Potentially Bugged Trophies), where your saved states could get messed up if you forget to save before exiting the game. This may affect other trophies as well. To prevent this, make sure you visit an auto-save stone or travel to another island (which forces an auto-save) before quitting. Another user has encountered a save file corruption problem (Be warned -- this game could corrupt your saves). I did not experience either of these problems during my playthrough, but you should back up your saves regularly just to be safe.

uLXNqlL.png

Step 1: Play through the game, trying to 100% each island you come across

All of the trophies are tied to in-game challenges. You will see these challenges as pop-up boxes (three at a time) whenever you land on an island or access the inventory screen. While some challenges can only be completed on the specific island in which the pop-up box appears, most can be completed on any island. Oddly enough, defeating Oceanhorn is not required for the platinum, but you should still focus on the main quest, as several trophies will come naturally through story progression. As you play through the game, make sure to interact with every NPC and tome/note/telescope you come across, as you “discover” new islands simply by hearing about them. You will need to visit every island for Cosmopolitan.

Always be on the lookout for glowing red crystals. These are Bloodstones and collecting all of them is required for Crimson Collector. In order to obtain these crystals, you will need to whack them many times with your sword! When you get your first 500 coins, you should buy the radar from the shop in Tikarel. This will let you know how many Bloodstones are located on the island you are currently on, and it will alert you when one is nearby. You should also keep an eye out for any treasure chests. Many of these contain heart pieces, which are needed for Vitality.

The game keeps track of your overall completion on each island. You can access this by selecting a specific island while on the navigation screen on your boat. While it is not necessary to 100% every island, the completion percentage refers to the number of Bloodstones you have found and treasure chests you have opened, so you can easily check off an island once you have reached 100%. In the early game, you may not be able to 100% every island because you do not have all of the necessary equipment. All of the collectibles can be obtained with the Bombs, Arrows, Trencher Boots, Force Spell, and Fire Spell, so begin exploring each island thoroughly once you have all of these. You will also need a Fishing Rod in order to get Fish Sticks. You will receive this from one of the townspeople in Tikarel during normal story progression.

The game isn't difficult, but here's a video walkthrough if you need it (thanks to All the Shinies):

Get all other Trophies

Well, I think the description speaks for itself… Congratulations!

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/4896/f32.jpg Pocket Money (B)

Collect your first 25 coins

Coins can be obtained in many ways, such as by slaying monsters, opening chests, breaking pots, and cutting grass. This will likely be the first trophy you earn and can be done on the first island.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/4896/a59.jpg Smart Guy (B)

Read at least 10 signs

This should come naturally, but make sure you press the :cross: button whenever you see "..." at the end of a sign. Otherwise, it might not count. (Thanks to Blaze Naruto Shippuden for pointing this out.)

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/4896/249.jpg Not Far from Tree (B)

Get father's sword and shield

Story-related and cannot be missed.

These are found in a chest in the cave on your starting island.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/4896/491.jpg Frutti di Terra (B)

Ship an item to another island

Story-related and cannot be missed.

This is technically story-related, as you will need to do it twice to advance the plot. When you pick up an object, such as a pot or stone, you can simply carry it over to your boat and hop in. Select an island to sail to and you will see the item riding with you in the front of the boat. The trophy will pop as soon as you land.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/4896/822.jpg Fire Walk with Me (B)

Melt objects 15 times using Fire Spell

You obtain the Fire Spell in the dungeon on Gillfolk’s Drop. Just use it 15 times on any ice crystals you come across. If you don’t get it naturally, return to the ice palace on Gillfolk’s Drop.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/4896/be5.jpg First Piece (B)

Find your first Piece of Heart

Heart pieces are found in treasure chests. You can find one heart piece on each island and four (!) on Island of Whispers. See Vitality for more information.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/4896/c26.jpg Exterminator (B)

Defeat the Cepedes of Abandoned Mines

Story-related and cannot be missed.

This is the first mini-boss of the game, and there are two of them. Fortunately, you begin the fight on an elevated platform, so if you are low on health or feeling squeamish, you can pick up the skulls around you and hurl them at the Cepedes without putting yourself in any danger. After that, jump down and begin hacking away with your sword.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/4896/9c7.jpg Rusty's Treasure (B)

Use your wits to reveal the hidden treasure

Near the center of Bomb Island, you will see a bronze statue that looks like a knight wearing a Big Daddy helmet. Push it from the front to reveal a treasure.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/4896/f2b.jpg Tough as a Boot (B)

Break a crate with Trencher Boots

You will find the Trencher Boots in the dungeon on Gillfolk’s Drop. Simply equip them and roll into one of the many cracked wooden crates strewn throughout the game.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/4896/5fc.jpg Crimson Collector (G)

Collect Bloodstones from all over the world

There are 55 Bloodstones in the game, and you will need to collect all of them for this trophy. They look like glowing red crystals, and you will need to hit them several times with your sword in order to collect them. To make things easier on yourself, purchase the Ancient Arcadian Radar from the shop on Tikarel for 500 coins. With this device, an indicator will appear below your health/magic bar that will tell you how many Bloodstones are remaining on the island you are currently on. It will even alert you when one is in range!

Bloodstones are often hidden in out-of-reach places, so pay attention to your surroundings to figure out how to get to them. The most common ways are by using bombs to open a secret passage or using the Trencher Boots to hop small gaps.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/4896/336.jpg Legend (G)

Reach the highest Adventurer Level

The highest Adventurer Level is level 16 ("Legend"), which requires 10,000 XP. You gain XP (in the form of blue diamonds) by killing enemies, completing in-game challenges, and looting certain treasure chests. Each time you level up, you will gain a new title and some perks, such as an item refill or the ability to carry more arrows/bombs. You can check your inventory screen to see how many blue diamonds (XP) you have collected, as well as how many more are needed to advance to the next level. This will likely be one of the last trophies you earn, but shouldn't take much grinding, as each trophy you earn is an in-game challenge that will reward you with significant XP.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/4896/e77.jpg Cosmopolitan (B)

Visit all islands of Uncharted Seas

To visit an island, you must first “discover” it, which simply requires hearing the name of the island. Make sure to interact with every NPC and object (note, book, etc.) you come across so you don't miss any. You can check the list of islands you have discovered by opening the inventory screen while in your boat.

These are the names of the islands and how to unlock them (thanks to Blaze Naruto Shippuden for confirming the final three islands on this list are necessary for this trophy):

[spoiler=islands]1. Hermit's Island. Unlocked at start of game.

2. Tikarel. Story progression. Complete the hermit's quest.

3. Withered Lands. Talk to the NPC in front of the Adventurers' Guild.

4. Bomb Island. Talk to an NPC on Withered Island.

5. Great Forest. Story progression. Talk to Rigger on Withered Island.

6. Riptide Reef. Story progression. Speak to Rigger after defeating Turmos.

7. Southwind Isle. Story progression. Defeat the Dark Apostle in Tikarel.

8. Gillfolk's Drop. Story progression. Defeat the Dark Apostle in Tikarel.

9. Old Fortress. Read the note in the bottle at the entrance of the Cavern of Fire in Gillfolk's Drop.

10. Sky Island. Story progression. Complete the hermit's quest after collecting the Emblems of Earth and Ocean.

11. Graveyard Island. Inspect a telescope near the houses on Sky Island OR talk to the Adventurers' Guild master after obtaining the Emblem of Ocean.

12. Home Island. Inspect a telescope on western Sky Island.

13. Arcadia Ruins. Story progression. Defeat Shadow Mesmeroth on Sky Island.

14. Island of Whispers. Go to Tikarel and head up the stairs to the Adventurers' Guild. There is tome hidden on the top of the lamppost on the ledge behind the sign. You will need a bomb to knock it down.

15. Skerry. Read a note found in Gillfolk's Drop.

16. Sandbar. Read a bottle on the beach shore of Tikarel.

17. Reef. Read a bottle on the beach shore of Tikarel. You will need to use a Bomb to destroy the wall blocking the cave entrance.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/4896/55b.jpg Encyclopedia Monstrum (B)

Defeat every kind of monster in the game

Not as bad as it sounds. Just go through the game, killing every enemy you come across, and it should come easily. The hardest one seems to be the spiked ball, but only because you probably didn’t know it could be killed! Just toss a bomb at it and watch it explode. You can find a spiked ball near the dock on Island of Whispers.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/4896/b48.jpg Unspawn (S)

Kill 50 Spawn

This refers to the mechanical beasts in the game. The easiest place to farm these is Arcadian Ruins. You will find three of them on your way towards the dungeon. Kill them, climb down the ladder to the dungeon, and return to cause them to reset.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/4896/011.jpg Vitality (G)

Get all 8 heart containers

Each island has exactly one heart piece and you need four heart pieces to gain a new heart container, so you will need to collect all of the heart pieces on the original islands (excluding Island of Whispers) to do this. You can buy also a heart container from the shop in Tikarel for 1000 coins. Unfortunately, the game neglects to tell you which heart pieces you have found (only your overall percent completion for each island), so you will need to keep track yourself.

With the addition of Island of Whispers, it is possible to have up to 9 heart containers, as this island has four more heart pieces to discover. This can be useful if you are only missing a few heart pieces from the original islands.

Heart Piece location guide: http://oceanhorn.wikia.com/wiki/List_of_Heart_Pieces_Locations

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/4896/00c.jpg Blast'em! (B)

Kill an enemy with a laser beam

Later in the game, you will encounter robotic enemies that stand still and shoot lasers at you. Once you have the Shield of Chronos, you can press :r2: to put up a shield that will reflect the beam. Be careful—your shield uses up stamina! If you don’t get this naturally, return to Sky Island, locate the laser-shooting enemy near the center of the island, and get one of the flying creatures to chase you towards it. From there, simply reflect the beam at the poor creature and watch him burn.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/4896/187.jpg Scholar (S)

Study the Arcadian History

When you meet with Grandmaster Ludwig on Sky Island, you will be in a house that has several books to read and scholars to talk to. Do so and your reward shall be vast knowledge about the history of Arcadia…and a trophy.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/4896/c0a.jpg Champion from Below (S)

Clear the entrance to Grand Core

Story-related and cannot be missed.

You will get this during the quest that takes you to Sky Island.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/4896/54f.jpg Hat Trick (B)

Kill three enemies with a single sword blow

Once you have the skill attack (where holding down the attack button and then releasing it performs a sword spin), simply look for a place where you can get three enemies together and use it. Ideally you want weak enemies, such as beetles, that will die in one hit. Bomb Island is a good place for this, as there are several weak enemies right by the dock.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/4896/afd.jpg Train Wreck (B)

Kill an enemy by pushing a crate

This can be done almost anywhere you find both an enemy and a crate, but the easiest place is Island of Whispers. There is a crate and a beetle right by the boat.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/4896/159.jpg Still Going (S)

Smash 50 skeletons to pieces

This is referring to the skeleton enemies, not the skeleton heads you can throw. Graveyard Island is a good place to search for the undead.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/4896/900.jpg Bouncer (B)

Bounce an enemy with a shield 10 times

The description is vague here. You do NOT earn this by reflecting attacks with your shield or simply blocking attacks. You earn this by raising your shield immediately before an attack. If you do it right, the enemy will stagger for a moment. It is easiest to do this with skeletons, so you can work on it at the same time as Still Going.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/4896/36d.jpg Making Friends (B)

Release the Direfolk's prisoner

Story-related and cannot be missed.

You will get this during the quest that takes you to Withered Lands.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/4896/a65.jpg Bomber Archeologist (B)

Use bombs to break walls 10 times

This should come naturally, as you will need to blow up walls to reach some of the collectibles. Keep an eye out for anything that looks suspicious. Sometimes clues will point you in the right direction, but also keep an eye on your mini-map. If you see an unopened treasure chest, you may need to place down a bomb somewhere to reach it.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/4896/452.jpg Fabled Gardener (S)

Lift the curse from the Forest Shrine

Story-related and cannot be missed.

You get this for defeating Turmos on Great Forest and recovering the Emblem of Earth. To kill Turmos, hack away at his four tentacles with your sword. Once they are gone, he will open his mouth and a glowing orb will appear. Do NOT approach the orb. He will try sucking you in, which does considerable damage. Instead, move back and fire arrows or throw bombs at the orb. As with all major bosses in this game, he will eventually recover and you will need to repeat this cycle 3-4 times in order to kill him.

Alternative method (by Hogger): As long as you leave at least one tentacle alive, the boss will not try to suck you in. Simply destroy all tentacles but one, wait for the others to regrow, and repeat. This method takes much longer to kill the boss (~30 minutes), but you get five crystals for every tentacle you kill, making this a great method for farming experience.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/4896/91a.jpg Hard Worker (B)

Move crates and other objects 100 times

This should come naturally. If not, the islands are covered in objects for you to move.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/4896/fa4.jpg Town Sheriff (S)

Protect the Peace in Tikarel

Story-related and cannot be missed.

You will get this when you return to Tikeral (after finding the Lost Stone Cube of Archimedes for the hermit) to start the Festival of Sun on Humming Hill. Some firework-hating jerk who calls himself the Dark Apostle will try to stop you. You can dodge his attacks and run behind him for a few quick slashes, Dark Souls-style…or you can simply throw bombs at him. The second approach is more effective (and ironic). Afterwards, you will watch the fireworks with your new friend and the trophy will pop when you regain control of your character.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/4896/fd5.jpg Hey, Big Spender! (G)

Spend 2 000 coins in the shop

This may sound like a lot, but I ended up with over 4000 coins in the game and there is nothing else to spend it on. I suggest purchasing the radar for 500 coins, and then saving up 1000 coins for the extra heart container. After that, spend another 500 coins on whatever you want. (The bomb refill is useful.) This trophy is cumulative, so you do not need to spend 2000 coins in a single trip to the shop.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/4896/0c3.jpg Fast Blade (B)

Perform 10 successful combo attacks

You should get this naturally. From what I can tell, combo attacks are simply hitting the same enemy multiple times with your sword.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/4896/1cc.jpg Sticky Finger (B)

Collect 1000 coins

This should come naturally, and you will need at least 2000 coins for Hey, Big Spender!. The best way to earn money is by killing enemies (make sure to pick up what they drop) and opening treasure chests. In some chests, you will find relics that will automatically convert to coins. This trophy is cumulative, so you do not need to have 1000 coins on you at the same time.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/4896/960.jpg Shish Kebab (S)

Kill an enemy with a burning arrow

This is easiest to do in a dungeon, as there are often torches next to the stairs. The best approach is to lure an enemy below the stairs while you stand on top, and then fire an arrow through the torch to ignite the enemy. You will need to kill the enemy with the burning arrow, so it may take multiple shots if you chose a stronger enemy.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/4896/de0.jpg Honey Man (B)

Find out what happened to Honey Man

Story-related and cannot be missed.

You will get this on your visit to Southwind Isle. He will be in the cave, standing on a platform that you will need to reach by pushing the nearby blocks to create a bridge. He will reward you for saving him by giving you honey. You should carry this honey to the boat with you for Frutti di Terra and [spoiler=honey]because you need to give it to the gatekeeper on Gillfolk's Drop to reach the ice palace.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/4896/3e6.jpg Witness (S)

Collect 10 Cursed Skulls

These are only found on Island of Whispers. They look like the regular skulls, except they are covered in a blue aura. Like Bloodstones, you will need to hack away at them repeatedly with your sword in order to collect them.

Cursed Skull location guide: http://www.pocketgamer.co.uk/r/iPhone/Oceanhorn/feature.asp?c=60932

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/4896/4c5.jpg Sleeping Giant (S)

Beat the Creation No. 2

This is the boss of Island of Whispers. Getting to him requires solving the hardest puzzles in the game, but he is an absolute pushover if you have an ample supply of bombs and arrows.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/4896/c89.jpg Secret Passage (B)

Swim to Canals

This can only be done in Island of Whispers. You will need to unlock the first gate and reach the other side of the island. Once you do, you will find some stairs that lead into a small water body. If you swim to the left and hug the lower wall, you can reach the Canals through a passageway under the bridge. You will need to go here to get all of the Cursed Skulls.

Here's an image of the canal if you can't find it, courtesy of Illusionary (please note this is from the PC version of the game):

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/4896/7ca.jpg Fish Sticks (G)

Catch one fish of every kind

Talk to the gray-haired man at the top of the stairs in front of one of the houses in Tikarel after you have defeated the Dark Disciple. He will give you a fishing rod. To fish, all you need to do is equip the fishing rod, cast your line when facing any body of water, and press X when you see the bobber sink. From there, you simply need to pull your rod in the opposite direction the fish is swimming in order to tire him out. Pay attention to the strength meter on the bottom. When it reaches zero, the fish is yours! But if you allow the fish to swim too far to either side of the screen, he will get away.

There are seven fish to catch:

  1. Blue Fin. Extremely common. Can be caught anywhere.
  2. Sol Fish. Extremely common. These are tinier than Blue Fin, but they can be caught anywhere.
  3. Arcadian Pike. These are uncommon, but can probably be caught anywhere. They are greenish-brown and slender. I caught mine on Island of Whispers.
  4. Fireback. These are rare, but can probably be caught anywhere. They are orange and slender, and they tend to jump out of the water more than any other fish. I caught mine on Sky Island.
  5. Goliath. Big fish, as the name suggests. They are found on Riptide Reef or Great Forest.
  6. Ghost Fish. Graveyard Island only. The gimmick here is that the controls are reversed. You will need to pull your rod in the same direction the fish is swimming. This is harder than it sounds! You may find it useful to hold the controller upside down (thanks to Terminator).
  7. Botfish. These are found on Arcadian Ruins only and they shock you, which takes away half of a heart each time. Because of this, you are going to want full health and preferably 9 heart containers before attempting to catch one. Even then, you are not guaranteed to win, as sometimes they simply switch direction too many times for you to catch it before running out of health. Unfortunately, all you can do is keep trying. (I suggesting quitting the game via the XMB menu and reloading it so you don't have to gather hearts.) Eventually you will snag a Botfish that cooperates. One suggestion that might help is to resist the urge to switch direction every time the fish does so. Many times, the fish will reverse direction, only to do it again. The most effective approach seems to be to keep the analog stick pressed in one direction until the fish is nearly at the other side of the screen. It's risky, but this can be useful in shortening the length of the mini-game.

Check out this video for fishing locations (thanks to TheBurk1989):
    [ame]
    [/ame]

If you need additional help, see the following tips by Blaze Naruto Shippuden:

  1. The Number 1 fishing tip that applies to all fishes when they jump. If a fish jumps out of the water look at the direction it's facing and pull in the opposite direction. The fish is literally telling you which way it's going to swim every time they jump out of the water.
  2. Using both the :ls: and :rs: buttons makes it easier to catch fish.
  3. The best place to fish for the Goliath is Great Forest.
  4. For the Botfish, it's recommended that you catch this fish with 9 Hearts. You can find 4 heart pieces on Island of Whispers. When you're ready to catch this fish, the key is to look at the water waves that the Botfish is making. If you do this you'll notice that the wave is like a circle ranging from 3 different sizes (Large, Medium, Small). These circles show the direction that the Botfish is swimming to and you need to make sure you're pulling in the opposite different of these waves. For example, let's say you see a Large and Medium wave appear heading towards the right of the screen. This means that the Botfish is swimming towards the right and you need to pull towards the left. Same thing applies to the left side if you see waves like that only you pull towards the right. Remember to pull in the opposite direction every time the Botfish jumps out of the water.
  5. The Ghost Fish inverted controls but the key is to make sure it never leaves the left or right side of the screen. If it heads towards the left of the screen, pull left. If it heads towards the right of the screen pull right. Eventually you will get it to jump out of the water which is what you want to happen. When the Ghost Fish jumps out of the water, it's telling you where it's going to swim next. If it's facing the left when it jumps, pull left. If it's facing the right when it jumps pull right. Eventually, it will end up loosing its strength against you. But what if it's in the middle? If the Ghost Fish is in the middle you may notice it tends to swim back and forth trying to confuse you. What you need to do is trying to follow it by pulling in the left/right (alternating) directions until it either becomes steady (losing strength), tries to escape from the left/right screen at which you prevent, or jumps out of the water. (see video below)

Great job!

Cosmopolitan trophy, can you list all islands?

Done! I hid them behind a spoiler tag and included a short description of how to discover them, to the best of my knowledge. I know some islands can be discovered in multiple ways, so let me know if you have come across other methods.

Nice guide, I was going to write one on Tuesday, but I'll tell you what. I'll just give some feedback instead.

For the Legend (G) trophy. Your Adventurer Level will rise as you kill monsters, take on challenges, finding Explore Crystals and getting in-game achievements. The blue diamonds represent your experience your experience (XP) and depending on how many you collected, The Adventures' Guild will grant you a matching level. "Legend" is the highest Adventure Level at LV16, which will take 10,000 XP. You can always check the menu to see how many diamonds you have to collect to reach the next level.

By Explore Crystals, do you mean Bloodstones? Can anybody verify that picking up a Bloodstone grants you XP? I know you can get blue diamonds from enemies, treasure chests, and challenges, but I don't remember about Bloodstones.

Explorer Crystals is what you call the XP you get from treasure chests. Bloodstones don't seem to grant you XP. :)

Nice guide thanks!

Quick tip, for the train wreck trophy, in the dungeon with the honey pot in Southwind Isle theres a beetle in the corner of the room with a crate just before it, just push the crate squeezing the beetle against the wall.

If youre having trouble catching the ghost fish, just hold your controller upside down :p

I've found some small islands not listed for the Cosmopolitan Trophy, Reef & Sandbar so far, aren't these needed to get the Trophy?

Hm, that's a good question. I can't remember if I found those on my playthrough, but I don't believe they show up on the inventory screen when you pause the game on the boat. That's the list I used for the trophy description.

Can anybody confirm if they're necessary?

There's another one I've found not on the list now, Kerry. It doesn't matter really because these small islands also have Bloodstones on them so I've visited them anyway to collect those.

OK, so they are necessary, even though they don't show up on the list. Do you know how you unlocked them?

If anybody can let me know, I'll add them to the guide!

This Guide is good but could use some improvements :):

1: Including this playlist would be beneficial for people like me who get stuck at certain points due to the game being unclear about where to go next:

2: This video was extremely helpful when going for the Fish Sticks trophy:

and the tip about holding your controller upside down when capturing the Ghost fish was particularly useful. Also, the best place I found to get a Ghost fish was on the pier where you dock your boat. On a side note, it would have been helpful to know that you can't get the Fishing Rod until after you have saved the town from the Dark Disciple. I spent ages trying to get the Fishing Rod and it wasn't until I looked it up online, that I discovered that the walkthrough was missing a key step :(. Without all 9 Heart Containers, you won't stand a chance in hell of catching the Bot fish :(.

3: The Ancient Radar comes in really helpful when looking for the Bloodstones, since it tells you roughly how close you are to one :). This item costs 500 Coins from any seller. Also, this trophy is reportedly on the glitchy side: http://www.playstationtrophies.org/forum/oceanhorn-monster-of-uncharted-seas/297989-potentially-bugged-trophies.html. Here's a location Guide that shoes where and how to get all 55 Bloodstones :): http://oceanhorn.wikia.com/wiki/List_of_Bloodstone_Locations

Here's a video Guide as well:

[/ame]

4: There is a save file corruption problem, albeit a rare one :(: http://www.playstationtrophies.org/forum/oceanhorn-monster-of-uncharted-seas/295478-warned-game-could-corupt-your-saves.html

5: Heart Piece locations Guide: http://oceanhorn.wikia.com/wiki/List_of_Heart_Pieces_Locations Video Guide:

[ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2njhjBHNBO0[/ame]

6: Some more tips on how to fight the bosses would be useful since the current descriptions are unfortunately, very vague :(.

7: The Pocket Money and Smart Guy trophies can both be earned on your Starting island. Also, including this tip for "Smart Guy" would be beneficial :): http://www.playstationtrophies.org/forum/oceanhorn-monster-of-uncharted-seas/295526-read-10-signs-glitch-trophy.html I know you have this mostly covered but a little extra help wouldn't hurt :).

8: Here's a Location's Guide for the Cursed Skulls: http://www.pocketgamer.co.uk/r/iPhone/Oceanhorn/feature.asp?c=60932

9: "Sticky Finger" and "Hey, Big Spender!" are both cumulative.

10: The "Secret Passage" trophy would greatly benefit from a screenshot, since I spent ages looking for the right spot and couldn't find it.

Thanks for the tips, Terminator! I've made some updates to the guide. Here are my comments to your list:

1. I think you provided the wrong link. This directs me to a user profile.

2. OK, I added the video and tips about fishing. The only thing I'm not sure about is needing 9 hearts. I was able to catch the Botfish with only 8 hearts, but you definitely want at least that. Also, can you confirm that the fishing rod is obtained through normal story progression? I didn't want to include the event that has to happen first for spoiler reasons, but I'm also not sure if it's given to you or if it requires speaking to the NPC after the event takes place.

3. I included this tip in the walkthrough. I've added Crimson Collector to the glitched trophies list, although this issue could potentially affect many trophies, depending on how save states work. I'm not sure how to list that, so I included a "Bug Report" warning in the Introduction.

4. Added it to the Bug Report.

5. Sweet. Added it.

6. I found some good videos on Youtube regarding boss strategies, so I've contacted the creator to ask if I can add them to the guide. I'll post them once I hear back. I've also contacted the creators for the videos you provided, just to make sure I have their permission. I wasn't sure if you already did that.

7. Added it.

8. Added that too.

9. And that.

10. Hm... anybody have one of those? I'd have to play through the whole game again.

I'm playing the PC (Steam) version of the game so the screenshot reflects that, but here: Steam Community :: Screenshot :: Secret Passage
