MercilessLight
Am I the only one having trouble seeing enemies and differentiating cash from enemy bullets ? I mean the enemies are always the same color of the background no matter what level you are in and the cash is very similar to the enemy bullets... The worst is when you play lvls with a red background. I have tried turning off the visual effects in the option menu but it didn't help much. I am playing on Vita. Yeah...when it first started happening...I was like 'why did I lose a shield for picking up sum cash'?
cperezprg
I agree, on Vita sometimes it gets very confussed
Elvick
Yeah I've found it hard to focus too, but turning off the visual effects helped me a lot. Still, the enemies being the same color as the background doesn't make it any easier.
4manaka
In my case even turning off the visual effects doesn't allow me to see what the heck kills me half of the time. I kinda loved Titan Attacks, but despising this game already... I thought that being from the same creators that wouldn't happen. Seriously, this 'retro' card really sucks when they don't do the things appropiately, back in the 90s there were hundreds of games with a way better playability and you could see what the hell was killing you... this game triggers me lol. 4manaka
Same here ... The game visuals really killed it for me, it really hampers gameplay. One question: what version are you playing this with? Because in my case, I was playing on ps3 and it was both stressful and stupidly hard. Out of curiosity, I tried the ps4 version... boom, the 100% came almost effortlessly an hour or two after. Somehow I could notice the enemies and projectiles right when they were appearing way quicker, for some reason. One thing I noticed right from the very first moment I was playing the ps4 version, is its color palette is richer. And if that is the case, I cannot believe this... this is supposed to be a retro game for gods sake, there should be no difference between ps3 and ps4 I don't know if I'm alone with this, if I'm imagining things... or what, oh well, I just know I've got the 100% and this thing is already gone from my consoles. Thumbs down for Puppy Games.
MercilessLight
I only played the Vita version, I got the 100% and never bothered to try other versions.
knoxville363
Especially on later levels OR ASSAULT levels when things are every wwhere... It can get crazy and make your eyes tweak.... I agree (ps4) version.
shathe
yeah, the playability on this is complete shit. i can't tell what the hell is going on half the time. you can't even see the "big" enemies because they are exactly the color of the background, and the little guys are difficult to differentiate from coin, so you can't even tell when it is safe to move in to collect coins. gotta say this one is really pissing me off at this point. and they added "effects" why? to making even fucking harder to tell what is going on? why not just include a blindfold with the game? gotta wonder what they were thinking on this... nopantsx
Yeah, playing on vita is a pain in the ass, but playing on a very dark place helps A LOT! also, disabling effects is useful!!
Vyrastas
The game is very fun but yeah, the poor art design really hurts when you get past level 50. The assault levels are the worst, it's so hard to make out WTF is going on.
twyz
I've never played a game that has so many distracting things on the screen at once. Enemies being the same color as the background, a wall of text scrolling across the bottom, etc.
VazzVegas
After playing to level 39 and dying, i restarted everything and turned off all the effects as recommended and it seemed to help over time. In the end, I definitely recommend turning off all that garbage.
