Any tips on this?

I've literally been playing this game since release date and so far I've had seven missions to protect the ATMs pop up.

For the past six days straight I've been farming this ONE trophy and for the life of me I cannot get another mission to pop up. I don't understand.

Do I have that poor of luck and have I offended the RNG gods or am I doing something wrong?

Is there a way to get this mission to pop up or is it really all luck based?

I am beyond frustrated. I thought this game was going to be an easy platinum and so far it's the hardest because of that ONE trophy.

Any help would be amazing.

Thanks in advance.

What I ultimately ended up doing is this: I would start up Bebop's level. After the initial fight, wait until April gave the first mission of the level. If it was ATMs, I'd complete it. If not, I would quit out of the level and try again. It may still take a while, but that's how I ended up getting the trophy. Once you complete the ATM, you can quit the level if you'd like, but wait until April gives you another mission just to be sure.

May aswell just complete the missions until you get the last one that will unlock Bebop. Pretty much every mission can be completed in the time it takes to quit out and restart and it seems missions never repeat so it increases the chance of ATMs, not alot since theres so many possible missions on this stage for some reason.

NOTE: I know you can get the same mission (mostly defeat the enemies) by repeat I mean in the same location too, as each spawn location is a different mission unfortunately.

So uh, potential tip.

I read somewhere that if you go to the rooftop overlooking the basketball court, then ATM, Bomb, and Money Bag missions will spawn more. I tried it, and the drop rates definitely seemed to have increased for me.

Also, do you need to complete the level for the mission to count?

I read that as well on one of the Xbox forums. And no you don't need to complete the level for the mission to count.

I thought about doing this as well but decided against it due to the potential of one of the other two to three missions you get on the stage. Those could've turned out to be more ATM missions.

What difficulty did y'all do this on?

Multiplayer or single player?

Using this same method for three days now and not one ATM has shown. Tonight I've actually been counting how many times I've done the "Start/Initial Battle/Quit" technique. I know it's luck based on RNG but I've tried switching up Turtles, standing in different places after the initial battle, Changing difficulties, still nothing. My total tonight is exactly 248 attempts, god know's how many attempts I had yesterday and the day before!

In comparison I also tallied the amount of attempts it took me to get 30 Krang bombs to show up in Wingnut's Stage. (Had 4 already done) and i took 74 attempts to clear up the remaining 22 (2 Bombs per run).

Now I'm no genius when it comes to percentages guys but that is a massive difference between ATM's and Krang bombs for instance, showing up.

Is this trophy bugged? I've done this mission 11 or 12 times and I still haven't gotten the trophy.

Yeah I've also done the ATM missions 12 times now with no trophy, also the money bags didn't pop either. I've waited til the next mission kicks in, to be safe but nothing.

I thought the money bags and regular bombs had, but I had to do one more of each. I think it was because I played online and others did some of them. Still, shouldn't have been an issue for ATMs. Edited by ShadowStar83x

Somethings definitely wrong here, when exactly was you leaving the stage when getting ATM's, money bags or gold bars, pal? I usually leave when April send's through a new mission.

I had some ATM's previously (Fully completing stage) i think it was maybe around 2-3, so that would make it 6-9 ATM's saved. Since then, i had 10 ATM's show Thursday, 4 Yesterday and another 2 today so far, which brings the tally to 16 ATM's (48 ATM's saved) missions completed without including those done previously and still no trophy. Money bags RNG have been insane, i think by now I've done 50-60 missions so like 100-120 bags saved.

The only trophy i don't think I've completed is the Gold bar missions, i think I've done maybe 20-25.

The only thing i can think is doing is legit, say i get an ATM mission, instead of flat out leaving, playing through the entire stage.

With most of the missions, I waited until April gave me a new mission and quit out, but usually played to the end for ATMs. Usually, not always. However, the trophy popped on completion of my 10th ATM mission, so I just quit out there. Edited by ShadowStar83x

Man, this is getting really frustrating. I've done this mission 20-30 times and the trophy STILL hasn't popped. I don't understand what's going on here. All the other missions (money bags, Krang bombs, etc.) unlocked no problem. I would just quit out as soon as April gave the next mission. I guess I'll try actually completing the level to see if that changes anything.

I've heard of some other people having problems getting this trophy to unlock too. It has to be bugged or something because this is getting ridiculous. Out of all the trophies for this to happen on it has to be this one.

I've just managed to get both "For a rainy day" and "Virtuous Vigilante". I can confirm that i needed to play until the end of each stage, apart from the actual mission that it unlocks on for them to count. Woooohooo!

So what? Every mission needs to be completely replayed?

Short answer: Yes.

Long answer: Well for me, i'll need extra confirmation off of others but, i'd have to get an ATM mission or a Money bag, then once complete i'd have to go through the stage and defeat bebop. Then it counted, as said before i'd done over 40+ ATM's (Around 20 missions, when only 10 missions are needed for trophy) and no trophy.

Today though i have done 5 ATM missions (15 ATM protected) and it popped, same with Money bags, done 7 Money bag missions (14 bags collected) and it popped. Obviously i just quit out once the trophies popped, but yeah i would recommend completing the Stages fully until trophy pops.

Hope this helps out automaticgarage and others with the trophy/trophies not popping.

That doesn't make sense though. When I was getting the time bomb trophy, I did Karai's stage twice, and needed eight more bombs. Disarmed the first four, quit, reentered, and it popped upon doing it again.

I'm really not sure. Agreed on the Karai time bomb, and also the Krang bomb's were easy enough to grind by quitting out when the mission was over and they would still count towards the trophies but the ATM/Moneybags/Gold bars just wasn't counting for me when quitting out the stage early. I have no idea why, but i'm happy that they finally popped today. I only posted my results here to help others as there's been a few people saying the ATM's trophy wasn't popping. Other than that i can't give anymore information, Sorry.

It's alright. You're right. I got the ATM missions done and it didn't pop.

Yeah, It just really amazes me how out of all the trophies this game has, it has to be the most annoying trophies that you need to complete the full stage. Hopefully, like me you have a few done that you already completed the stage on. I only needed 5 mission play through's for it to pop. Good luck buddy!

I can confirm this as well. I managed to get the ATM trophy the other night when I started completing the stage. It's just really weird though because, as I said before, every other grinding trophy (gold bars, money bags, Krang bombs) I could quit out of the stage right away w/o completing it and it would still count. Anyway, I'm just glad to finally have this trophy out of the way.

Glad you finally got it, bro! :applause:
