New achievements added to 3.0

Retail Price is $29.99 for each Set Right now do that is a $60.00 DLC price not on sale

Marvel Battleground Four Player might required 4 Marvel only Figures to play

 

I cant wait to see the backlash on this, alot of people went out to plat 3.0 on both platforms since it was super easy. Well looks like your adventure is gonna cost ya for the extra DLC if you want 100%

Probably just not updated yet. I'd be a happy camper if they didn't add them though, since I only played the PS3 version so far.

 

If they do add them to the PS3 version I won't bother, and won't bother with the PS4 version now. I only played the games in the first place because my brother had 1.0 and you didn't need to buy more sets to plat 2.0 and 3.0. When they start requiring me to buy two sets most likely totaling closer to $80 - $100 in Canada plus all the extra Marvel characters (what are they on? That's not even a money making scheme at that point since you have to buy some of them from eBay resellers) that's where I stop caring.

What's really fucking grating is that all the packs I do have have no trophy support, and then they go and add on trophies for a pack I had zero interest in. And after they announce they're no longer supporting it! FFFUUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!!!!

 

Yeah! I bought the Star Wars ones.

Not because I had to, but because I wanted to (play them)

and no trophies for those sets!

 

I Had no intention of buying the marvel one

 

And especially not the damn Dory one.

 

But these Are the ones with trophy support?!!! Agghhh

 

And according to the other thread posts I read, not only would these trophies ale you buy 2 - $30 sets but individual characters as well?!! Screw it I'll stay at 84% and just be like oh well hmmphh :(

I am in the same boat. Own every SW play set and character - no trophy set there but with these, I (my kids) don't have interest in, there are trophies, go figure.

 

With the Infinity line going kaput, I am sure both play sets will be heavily discounted, probably sooner rather than later so may end up getting once they are offered cheap to clear out the inventory.

 

Also, for the Marvel one, it sounds like you earn temporary tokens to play as different characters so maybe you don't need to own a lot of them.

Odd timing indeed to do DLC trophies now just when they annouced they are no longer producing anymore Disney Infinity stuff.

 

Ah well, could have been worse...they could have been doing DLC trophies since the first Disney Infinity.

 

It seems there is only one that will require online (4 players - Marvel Battleground), the rest can be got solo and offline I assume.

 

Just a matter of time till server closure too. :think:

Wait a second. Didn't Sony have some sort of "no DLC trophies" rule when it came to toys-to-life games? Like I know the Skylanders games (the first 3, at least) never had a "do this with this specific character" trophy, but now, with the game being cancelled, we get 10 trophies that we can only get if we go buy figs?

I don't know about that policy but I do know Lego dimensions made you buy the toys to complete 100% dlc

 

It was $30 for a dlc pack

How do we even unlock the 4 player trophy in battlegrounds if that is an offline trophy?

 

Even if you have 4 controllers, do you not need to place 4 characters on the base (which is impossible)? Or do you need to connect two bases to the console? Also, do you need 4 toys from the battleground set or do any chars work?

 

I am so pissed that they even added the DLC after they announced the closure of the studio. Final money grabbing move and a giant FU to everyone who has the game.

I was waiting for the trophies to be added for the ps3 version before I was going to even think about purchasing any of the playsets for the DLC. It looks like the trophies were finally added to the ps3 after a week or two of lagging behind the ps4.

 

If anyone is interested in purchasing the DLC playsets toysrus online (US) had a price of $20 each for marvel and dory, at least it was when I purchased it yesterday.

 

Not really happy with the price of 20 dollars for each DLC, I mean all that money for what, like 7 silver trophies.:mad:

 

I can get an assassins creed game for that much a few weeks after release right.:D

Wow glad that I saw this first before playing it. I bought it as an Xmas pressie for my kids and thought of playing it for a "cool and easy plat/100%" when I saw a new update... so this is what the update is all about then... I'm not gonna touch this game for sure... here I was thinking of doing 3.0, then go backwards for the others... close call!

 

Got a few games that I can't 100% (which annoys me AF) - 8 of them which includes DriveClub and of course DC copycat NFS2015 plus 3 CODs... not gonna add more with DIv3.0...

Just realised... can't we buy the figurines cheap as second-hand? We shouldn't be spending this much if we don't want to... all we have to do is wait for them to show up at pre-owned games shops... with this game already known to no longer have support, people are eventually gonna sell their sets off cheap...
