Introduction:

This guide is for people who own the STAR WARS Pinball (SWP) game (for PS3 or Vita). These are the trophies from the Star Wars Pinball: Force Awakening DLC, and includes the following table: Might of the First Order.

Notes:

  • The tables in Zen Pinball 2 (ZP2) only have 1 or 2 trophies. However; in SWP, there are 3 trophies per table and these differ than the ones in ZEN Pinball 2.
  • If you want to know more about the basic terminology for pinball machine features, as well as a variety of techniques and skills, I suggest you check the Star Wars Core Game ~ Trophy Guide & Road Map, as this only covers the 5th DLC table called "Might of the First Order"
  • The 1st Star Wars Pinball DLC pack can be found here: DLC Pack 1: Star Wars Pinball
  • The 2nd Star Wars Pinball DLC pack can be found here: DLC Pack 2: Balance of the Force
  • The 3rd Star Wars Pinball DLC pack can be found here: DLC Pack 3: Heroes Within
  • The 4th Star Wars Pinball DLC can be found here: DLC 4: Rebels

- All trophies here are offline.

- All trophies must be done in a single game unless otherwise noted.

- Messing with any of the factory settings disables all trophies.

- All tables have the same nudge/tilt settings: 3 warnings before you tilt the table. Tilt will reset after 15 seconds.

Might of the First Order ~ Trophy Guide

Lock a ball in the TIE fighter dock of the Might of the First Order table! (Single player only)

Step 1: Light the "LOCK" and ready the magnetic crane. There is the regular way to lock a ball and a shortcut method to lock the ball.

Method 1: The Regular Way

You can hit the docking bay target. The docking bay is located just to the left of the Mystery Box sink hole in the center of the table. You will see a red roman numeral I, II or III target there (depending on how many times you hit the target). After 3 hits to this docking bay target, the magnetic ramp (middle right lane) will flash "LOCK" shoot this lane to get a ball locked.

Method 2: The Shortcut

Shoot the mystery box sink hole to the top center it will give you a random award. The random award you're looking for is light the lock or ready crane for locking the ball. Continue to shoot the sink hole (which is an extremely easy shot) until you get this reward. After getting the lock ready, you will notice the middle right lane (the magnetic ramp) flashing LOCK. You can now shoot this ramp to capture and lock a ball.

Step 2: Shoot the magnetic ramp (middle right lane) to lock the first ball. After making this shot and locking your first ball, you will earn the trophy.

Start a Multiball on the mini playfield of the Might of the First Order table! (Single player only)

Please use the picture below with the step by step instructions to aid you in getting the trophy.

Step 1: Shoot the ball into the left sink hole so that it drops down into the lower mini playfield that can be seen under the main playfield (see the yellow arrow in the picture above)

Step 2: Once a ball is trapped in the mini playfield shoot a second ball down there as well. Use the flippers in this playfield to hit the trapped ball and "hop" it to the right (see green arrows in picture). Eventually, landing the ball into the collecting bin all the way to the right (see the red arrow in the picture above).

Step 3: Repeat this process to trap 3 balls into the collecting bin, which will start the multiball and earn you the trophy.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/2042/b68.jpg Rule the galaxy (S)

Start Rule the Universe on the Might of the First Order table! (Single player only)

In order to get this trophy you must do all the missions, side missions and hurry-ups on this table which will then start the "Rule the Universe!" wizard mode. The missions you need to complete are listed between your flippers. After you complete a mission or mode it will light up between your flippers signifying that you have completed that one. By far the hardest is the Ability Test, and you may want to go for it first to get it out of the way before doing a lot of work only to fail at that mission at a later state in the game. The rest are either easy or moderate in difficulty. The other true difficulty lies within keeping yourself alive long enough to complete all 9 missions. The missions can be done in any order. However, I recommend playing a few times just to start up each one so that you know what to expect when you get there. Once you know each mission, I recommend attempting the more difficult missions (i.e. Ability Test) first. Here are the missions and what must be done:

Mission 1: Pushing the Frontiers

To complete this mode you must start the Tie-Fighter docking bay multiball mode. You will need to lock three balls into the docking bay to complete it. The docking bay is located just to the left of the Mystery Box sink hole in the center of the table. You will see a red I, II or a III target there (depending on how many times you hit it).

How to Lock a Ball:

You can hit the docking bay target. After 3 hits to this docking bay target the magnetic ramp (middle right lane) will flash "LOCK" shoot this lane to get a ball locked.

OR

Shoot the mystery box sink hole to the top center it will give you a random award. The random award you're looking for is light the lock or ready crane for locking the ball. Continue to shoot the sink hole (which is an extremely easy shot) until you get this reward. After getting the lock ready, you will notice the middle right lane (the magnetic ramp) flashing LOCK. You can now shoot this ramp to capture and lock a ball.

Continue this process using either method until you have 3 balls locked and start the multiball. This will light up "FRONTIERS".

Mission 2: Crushing the Resistance

To complete this mode you must start the mini playfield multiball mode. You will need to lock three balls into the most right lane in the mini playfield under the table, this is explained in the trophy Rise of the First Order.

Step 1: Shoot the ball into the left sink hole so that it drops down into the lower mini playfield that can be seen under the main playfield.

Step 2: Once a ball is trapped in the mini playfield shoot a second ball down there as well. Use the flippers in this playfield to hit the trapped ball and "hop" it to the right. Eventually, landing the ball into the collecting bin all the way to the right.

Step 3: Repeat this process to trap 3 balls into the collecting bin, which will start the multiball. Upon starting this mode, "CRUSHING" should light up.

Mission 3: Captain Phasma

Step 1: Shoot the right ramp several times. You are going to spell PHASMA. Each shot on the ramp will light one letter to PHASMA on the Dot Matrix Display (DMD). After spelling PHASMA, Captain Phasma will shoot the right ramp’s habitrail that leads back to your right flipper. Another shot on the right ramp will drop your ball into a cannon below the ramp.

Step 2: Shoot the correct target. With the cannon loaded, it will start going back and forth while on the other side of the table one of 4 yellow targets will be lit. Press :cross: to shoot the ball and hit the lit target. If you are successful then, "PHASMA" will be lit between your flippers. If you miss you will have to start over again at Step 1.

Mission 4: Deploying Troops

Step 1: Shoot the right or left orbit 5 times to get 5 recruits.

Step 2: The next shot in the orbit will start a hurry-up. The orbit will start flashing and you will now have to shoot the orbit again before time runs out. After hitting the orbit your ball will stay there while slowly starting to move towards the mystery box sink hole. At the same time a new ball will be launched.

Step 3: Shoot and hit the captured ball before it goes into the sink hole. If you hit the captured ball then "TROOPS" will light up signifying that you've completed it. If not, then you must start over at Step 1 again.

Mission 5: Capture Poe

Shoot the mystery box sink hole several times until you get the mission to Capture Poe. This is the only way to start this mission. Once started it has 2 phases:

  • Phase 1: Go to Jakku to find members of the Resistance. In order to do this just continue shooting the mystery box sink hole.
  • Phase 2: Poe will sneak onto the table by your flippers and a firefight will begin. Again, just keep shooting the mystery box sink hole to win this mode and capture Poe.

If successful "Capture Poe" will be lit. If you fail you will need to start the process over again.

Mission 6: Prisoner Escaped

Note: You can only start this mission once Poe has been captured. If you have not completed the Capture Poe mission, then this mission is not available to be started. For example: Bumper hits will not count towards this mission until Poe is captured. Once started this mission has 2 phases:

  • Phase 1: Get many bumper hits to start this mission. You can get bumper hits by shooting the left or right orbit to send the ball to the back of the table where the bumpers are. Poe will again appear on the table.
  • Phase 2: After Poe appears, a Stormtrooper will be ordered by Phasma to recapture him. Again, just keep hitting orbit shots to the bumpers to win this mode.

If successful "Prisoner Escaped" will be lit. If you fail you will need to start the process over again.

Mission 7: Ability Test

Step 1: Shoot the left cross ramp with the upper right flipper to spell DRILL and Each shot up the ramp will light one letter on the DMD. This will start the hurry-up mode known as Ability Test.

Step 2: Phasma will shoot at a randomly selected lane, ramp or orbit on the table which will start flashing. You must shoot that lane, ramp or orbit before time runs out. The timer here is short, you can’t afford too many misses if any at all to complete this. If you shoot the right one she will pick another. Eventually she will make you shoot all of the lanes, ramps and orbits in the random order she shot them in. If you complete them all you will light ABILITY TEST but if not, then you will have to start over at Step 1.

Mission 8: Turbolaser

Step 1: Shoot the magnetic ramp (the middle right lane) to get the ball to the Star Destroyer 5 times. After the fifth shot, the magnet will bring the ball up to the Star Destroyer while an X-Wing is coming in for attack.

Step 2: Look for arrows around the Star Destroyer identifying the angle where the X-Wing will attack from. Now use your flipper buttons to rotate the Destroyer left or right, so that the nose of the Star Destroyer is pointing to the arrow that identifies the X-Wing's angle of attack. If done successfully, you will repel the attack and light "TURBOLASER" between your flippers, finishing this mode. If not, then you will have to return to step 1 again.

Mission 9: White-hot Ball

Step 1: Activate the mode and light up the cross ramp on the left. There are two methods by which you could start this mode:

  • Method 1: Try to get the random award out of the mystery box that starts this mode.
  • Method 2: There are 2 targets, one on each side of the cross ramp to the left. Hit both of these targets and the ramp will then have a flashing yellow arrow indicating the mode is ready.

Step 2: After activating the mode you must shoot the left cross ramp with the upper right flipper. The ball will travel up the ramp and stop. The Magma Trooper will then use his flamethrower to light your ball to a White-hot color. While the ball is hot just shoot any ramp for jackpot scoring and win the mode. This will light up "WHITE-HOT BALL" between your flippers to signify you have completed the mode.

WIZARD MODE: RULE THE UNIVERSE

Once you have successfully completed all the modes and lit them up on the face of the table between your flippers, then the wizard mode will start and you will earn the trophy Rule the galaxy (S). It will be a multiball mode where everything is lit for jackpot scoring until time runs out.

Tips to staying alive longer:

  • Trap your balls and make aimed shots when possible and you're not in a timed mission.
  • Start the docking bay multiball and the white-hot ball missions using the mystery box. WHY? Because of the random rewards that can also lead to an extra ball, a ball save or kickbacks activated (you will hear "Close the blast doors!" when a kickback has been activated).
  • Collect extra balls:
    • A random reward in the mystery box.
    • Shooting down 3 x-wings with the Turbolaser.
    • Get 3 balls into the mini playfield at one time (can be done during multiball modes).
