vegetollo7
Um, no thanks. I'm going to give this one a hard pass. Agreed. I didn't even know this was a thing but I'm definitely giving it a pass.

Blaze Naruto Shippuden
Need an official trailer. She does seem stronger than Imhotep.
LickableLemons7
I'm really excited for this. Can't wait to see how they handle the new Universal Monsters Cinematic Universe. The old Mummy movies were decent, not my favorite series of the classic Universal Monster movies but Jack Pierce's makeup still looks great to this day. Blaze Naruto Shippuden
How in the world did she wake up? The other one had to be revived by reading something, but the curse still surrounded his coffin.

Blaze Naruto Shippuden
That trailer did nothing for me. I had that neutral impact too when I watched it.
Takamura Bear
Very lukewarm reaction from me. I like the look of the 'Mummy' and Boutella in general - hope they don't make her do any Enchantress dance wiggles - but this trailer makes it come across as a generic action film starring Tom Cruise more than a film about 'The Mummy.' Did anyone else notice they also used the same damn scream sound effect twice? Could have just used the Wilhelm scream and I would have been fine with it. Also, I bet there's a big teleport thing at the end. Anyone wanna bet there's a big teleport thing in a city with falling skyscrapers at the end? AshtimusPrime
Ugh, now the plane crash scene will be boring because I've seen it already. And of course the obligatory London-gets-destroyed scene. Why not some shithole like Southport? Yeah, doesn't interest me at all.
NewAgeOutlaw17
I agree, when I saw this trailer and Tom Cruise appeared, I wasn't sure what to think. He's certainly not the choice i'd make for a Mummy movie, but who knows, I'll probably still see it.
vegetollo7
Now Universal is trying to create a cinematic universe with their properties? Haha, good luck. As of right now this first entry doesn't look too promising.
LickableLemons7
Now Universal is trying to create a cinematic universe with their properties? Haha, good luck. As of right now this first entry doesn't look too promising. They've done it before. Universal dominated back in the 1930s and 40s. That was the golden age of horror films before they died down in the late 50s with the new age of sci-fi horror. Frankenstein Meets the Wolf Man, House of Frankenstein, House of Dracula, Abbot and Costello Meet Frankenstein, etc. They can do it again. I'd love to see the Universal Monsters come back for a new age.
Doomsdayman
Now Universal is trying to create a cinematic universe with their properties? Haha, good luck. vegetollo7
I thought Dracula:Untold was good. Not great but I like it. Universal is copying Marvel and DC and trying to create their own cinematic universe. This reboot of the Mummy will be the first film to start building their shared universe of the Universal monsters. So get ready for reboots of all the classic Universal monsters. The Alchemist
I actually enjoyed the Brendan Fraser Mummy movies so I hope this one can be at least as entertaining as those.
kfree7
Saw the trailer again at the latest movie I saw and it's didn't drive me to want to see the movie. That doesn't however, determine if a movie will be good or not.
vegetollo7
Is it just me or does Tom Cruise look exactly like Nathan Drake in the latest trailer?
RedHoodHunter
This looks more serious and less entertaining than the Brendan Fraser Mummy movies we all grew up with. Tom Cruise getting knocked around airplanes and cars Mission Impossible style doesn't exactly lend itself to a 'Mummy' movie.
Shanehi185
Is it just me or does Tom Cruise look exactly like Nathan Drake in the latest trailer? He looks very much like Nathan Drake in that trailer, would probably make a good Drake.
