The Road Map

Step one: Start new game, playthrough normal. You cant unlock Hard until u finish your normal playthrough. Try to get most of the trophies as you can. Ex: Killing x numbers of dinosaur, Kill dinosaur certain way, and Follow my guide. Don't worry if you die, for the "Nuck Chorris Rex" Trophy. You can go to the "level select" and replay the mission you die in. There will be a skull on the level card.

 

Step two: Playin on hard, if you wanna make it really easy. Dont go to the new game, Go to the "level select" option and select the first level and choose HARD. In the first level, once you reach the dead body. Next to the Dead body, PLASMA/LASER GUN.This gun will make it so easy, only 1 or 2 shots will kill raptors and 4 shot for the bosses.

 

Step Three: Your last trophy should be the "Nuck Chorris Rex" trophy, Go the level select and play the level that have a skull on the level cards. There you go Easy Platinum.

Kill 50 Deinonychus

 

These are the red and green Raptors, kill 50 of them and the trophy is yours. You should get this in the 2nd level

Kill 1 dinosaur during an Adrenaline Burst

 

Easy, hold L1. And kill the first thing you see.

Repair all broken entrances before unlocking the gate

 

After the first fortification, DO NOT LEAVE YET. repair each and every window, before you leave. Exit out of the fortification and the trophy will pop up

Kill 3 Raptors with one grenade

 

In the 3rd level, Up the small hill will be a small crate with grenades. Look to you left, there should be 3 raptor coming out. Wait til they're close together. Throw the grenade toward them and boom. To make it easier, HOLD L1, for the slow mo effect. And throw the grenade, You will also get the "NOT SO FAST" trophy

Kill 50 Pterosaurs in Rise Above

 

In the Rise Above level, There will Pterosaurs flyin around. Dont enter the tree bridge yet. Grab the LMG and shoot everything that flies. Start walkin on the tree bridge and shoot everything that flies. You should get 50 at the end of the bridge.

Kill 1 Pterosaur with a grenade

 

During the Rise above level, on the tree bridge some of the Pterosaurs will get close. Throw grenade at it, hopefully you get it.

Kill 20 Dinosaurs with grenades

 

Easy, Kill 20 Dinosaurs with your grenades. The metal box will refill your grenade during the your playthur in certain part of the levels.

Destroy 50 exploding mushrooms

 

Once you're in the cave. There will be orange looking plant thing, NOT the yellow once. Shoot it and it will explode. You should come cross 50 of them thur the game.

Kill 1 enemy using an exploding mushroom

 

Wait til one of those scorpion claws close to the mushroom, and shoot the mushroom.

Kill 5 Scorpions with the RPG

 

Remember the stampede of the Dinosaurs in the SPIKED level. Keep the rpg with you, In the next level will have more scorpion, kill 5 of them with rpg

Kill 50 Scorpions

 

You should get 50 kill by the end of the game

These are the mini raptors, kill them all. You should get this during your 1st playthur

During the lava level, jump the lava and take a swim

In the 1st level, you see some thorny plants. Stand up to it and hug and die

Eventually, a raptor will jump on you. And the QTE will come up. Do not hit anything and let it eat your face.

Killed yourself with an exploding mushroom

During the cave level, walk on the exploding mushroom and die. It will take 2 hits to kill you

Kill 100 Deinonychus

 

These are the red and green raptors. Kill them 100 of them, should get this by the 5th level or so

Kill 3 Raptors during a single Adrenaline Burst

 

Just like the "Pack Hunting" Trophy but with the adrenaline burst. In the 3rd level, Up the small hill will be a small crate with grenades. Look to you left, there should be 3 raptor coming out. Wait til they're close together. HOLD L1, and throw the grenade. Or you can wait til you get the long 30 second Adrenaline Burst bonus item. Hold L1, and hurry up to kill 3 raptors before it runs out..

Kill 25 dinosaurs during Adrenaline Bursts

 

Easy kill 25 dinosaurs holding L1.

Kill a dinosaur using each weapon

 

Weapon will be found thur out the whole game, In the metal crates. You need to kill at least 1 with each weapon.

 

.45 Pistol = (1st level)

 

30-06 BAR Rifle = (first level and second)

 

Single Shot 1885 Rifle = (second level)

 

Shotgun = (3rd level in the fortification part)

 

9mm automatic Pistol = (3rd level)

 

Assault Rifle with Scope = (4th level during the 2nd fortification)

 

Black Powder Muzzle Loader = (During in the lava stage, will be in wooden box)

 

Light Machine Gun = (in the "Rise Above" level)

RPG = (On your way to fight Spike, you will see a herd of dinos running from left to right. Follow them to find a metal box with the RPG inside.)

Automatic Shotgun (12 level, next to the downed drone)

During the game, you come cross mount machine guns and blast everything you see. By the course of the game, you should get this

Wait til you get the shotgun and aim for the head, hold L1 for adrenaline burst. You can check your stats in the statistics option

Story related, cant miss it. First boss, Aim for the head or heart. Use the Adrenaline burst. L1.

This is easier during the 2nd fortification, because all the windows are in front of you. Don't repair any of the windows, pull out the shotgun and blast them in the face.

I found the 1st fortification is easiest. Go round to each window with the shotgun, blast the raptor in the face and repair the windows fast as you can.

Kill 20 dinosaurs using melee attacks

 

Hit the raptors with R3, it take about 5-6 hits to kill them. Or you can wait til the mini raptors which take only one hit to kill. Check how much you have in the statistics option.

Survive a Spinosaurus attack

 

Story related, during the SPIKED level. Pull out the assault rifle and LMG, shot it in the face, he will pop up. And unload into its chest. Make sure you're close to the ammo box. To refill.

Kill a Tyrannosaurus

 

Story related, you will be on the mount machine gun. Blast its in the heart, hold L1 adrenaline burst. It will retreat for awhile, the flying Pterosaurs will start to attack. Start pickin them off, be careful not to overheat.

Complete the game without dying

 

Like i said on the road map, you dont have to complete this on your 1st playthur. So, dont worry if you have die in some levels. After you finish the game, go to "level select" option and replay the levels with skull on the level card. So that you only have to replay the levels that you die in.

Complete the game

 

Simple, finish the game. Its only 12 short levels in the game, should only take about 3-4 hrs

Complete the game on the Hard difficulty

 

Once you finish your normal playthur, go to "Level Select". Select 1st level and choose HARD. When you reach to the dead body, there will be "PLASMA/LASER GUN". It will make your hard run, so f'n easy.

Note: i got a trophy glitch on this, i didnt get the hard trophy when i finish the game on my hard playthur. So don't panic, just playthur to the 1st level, and the trophy should pop up.

it looks realy helpful

i wanna buy this game but not out in the UK

BTW: In hard as nails u have a spelling error

u should correct it so u can get it stciked and submitted

 

thanks, let me know if there anymore errors, oh yeah u spell sticked wrong.:dance:

And i wouldnt buy this game, just rent it

Thanks for putting this guide together. Are the trophies really that easy and is that timescale for platinum realistic? If the answers are yes to my questions then I am renting this! :dance: Note: on the first trophy on the left of the picture there is a red x in a white box. You might want to correct that. ;)

He actually means to the left side of that image. There is a random "X" image there. Not a big deal though.

 

Also... great guide... I'm now going to rent it from gamefly seeing as you did such a thorough guide. Thanks for the good work.

What I've been doing is laying into the Rex with gunfire as soon as possible. The damage may cause it to slip in the mud. If you need to up your damage, use your adrenalin. I also find that the adrenalin works good when your are overwhelmed with birds. BTW, the birds seem to stop swooping as soon as the Rex shows up. But it's big and red so it's not hard to spot. ;) Oh and if you have any tips for gunman, let me know. It's the last one I need...
