  • Do trophies stack?: PS3 and PS4 have separate trophy lists
  • Do cheat codes disable trophies?: No cheat codes

Step 1: Complete the story

This step is simple enough just playthrough the game all the way to the end. Chances are you will get most of the Miscellaneous trophies by the end but you don't need to get them before you complete the game as you can continue playing after you've beaten it. I suggest you do all of the tombs before you finish the game. going through all of the tombs not only unlock you trophies but give you the best armor in the game which will help you as you playthrough the game. There is one miscellaneous trophy that you MUST get before the end of the game to prevent you from having to do another playthrough and that is Fly Swatter. By the end of this section you should have all of the story related trophies, all the tomb related trophies and Fly Swatter.

Step 2: Combat trophies

You should have completed the story by now and chances are you have some if not most of the combat related trophies already. If you don't have them now is the perfect time to do so. You don't have any missions to worry about so you can just go around killing guards in the ways necessary to get the trophies. By the end of this section you should have the trophies Street Cleaner, Messer Sandman, Doctor, No-Hitter and Sweeper.

Step 3: Side missions and Money

After the story you should have a lot of money. This is the perfect opportunity for you to get yourself some trophies. You should by enough courtesans, buy paintings, upgrade your stronghold, anything with money. You should also do all of the side missions in this step as well. This is also a good time to get the view point trophies even though by this point you probably already have them. By the end of this section you should have the following trophies Kleptomaniac, High Dive, I like the View, Lightning Strike, Red Light Addict, Man of the People, Victory lies in Preparation, Art Connoisseur, Assassin for Hire, Macho Man, Steal Home, Mailman, Handy Man and Podestà of Monteriggioni.

Step 4: Collectibles

These should be some of the last trophies you go for. The longest and arguably the most frustrating trophies in the game are saved for this step. Don't worry though as it's not that bad when you use a map for the locations of the Feathers and Glyphs. You should also get all the statuettes in your Villa if you haven't already. At the end of this section you should have the trophies Myth Maker, Vitruvian Man, Tip of the Iceberg, A Piece of the Puzzle, In Memory of Pertruccio and Show your Colors.

Step 5: Clean up

After you've completed the story you will now have all the time in the world to get the remaining trophies. Any trophy you don't have at this point should be gotten in this step. If you've beaten the game and haven't gotten a story related trophy or you know you've earned a trophy but it glitched you will need to start a new game to earn the missing trophy.

Complete DNA Sequence 2.

This is story related and can't be missed. Below is a spoiler do not read it if you do not want to know about the DNA sequence.

[spoiler=def] The sequence will start with you learning how to steal and blend from the people that are protecting your mother and sister. Once you've learned the basics you will talk to Leonardo Da Vinci so he can fix your hidden blade. Go to where the mission starts and you will see Uberto enter the event with his huge number of guards not far behind. Follow the path he was going and try to stay out of the sight of the guards by using a crowd of people to blend with. You will see 2 big guards guarding the entrance to where Uberto is. Go to the spots on your map and interact with the objects whether it be a bribe or a poster until your notoriety is all the way down. Go back and pick up your mother and sister and follow the checkpoints and leave the Florence. Once you are outside the city the DNA sequence will end and you will get the trophy.

Complete DNA Sequence 6.

This is story related and can't be missed. Below is a spoiler do not read it if you do not want to know about the DNA sequence.

[spoiler=8d3]This is probably the easiest and definitely the shorted DNA sequence in the game. You start off by speaking with Lorenzo Medici who gives you his cape as a token of his gratitude for saving him. Then you go to find Leonardo Da Vinci but you find he has left for a trip to Venice. On your way to Venice you see Leonardo and you both travel to Venice. After a chase scene with some guards you enter the docks right outside of Forli. You must save the woman that is trapped on the small island around the docks and get on the boat towards Venice. Once you get on the boat the DNA sequence ends.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/260/12.jpg Bleeding Effect (Silver Trophy)

Complete training and reenter the Animus.

At the end of DNA sequence 6 you will exit the Animus for the first time. This is story related and cannot be missed. Do not read the spoiler below if you do not wish to know about this part.

[spoiler=mno]You will need to set the defense system and show off how much you've learned from Ezio. It is a very simple climbing puzzle and you just need to interact with the 4 switches that control the defense system. Once the defense system is down Desmond really begins to start seeing images. You will play as Altair again. Follow your target until you get to the large tower. Climb up the tower to the very top and watch the cutscene. Once it ends you can reenter the Animus. Once you reenter the Animus you will get the trophy.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/260/13.jpg The Merchant of Venice (Silver Trophy)

Complete DNA Sequence 7.

This is story related and can't be missed. Below is a spoiler do not read it if you do not want to know about the DNA sequence.

[spoiler=pqr]You will start off by trying to go see Leonardo Da Vinci only to find out that he has been hired to paint portraits for a man in Venice. You travel with Leonardo to Venice and on the way must dodge groups of guards as they attempt to take down the carriage you are using to get there. When a guard is on top of the carriage simply weave back and forth and he will fall from the top of the carriage. Do this until you reach Venice.

Once in Venice you will be given a tour of the area and you will eventually run into Rosa. She is apart of the thieves guild and you find that you and the guild share some common goals. Both of you want to eliminate Emilio Barbar. The thieves will show you some new climbing techniques and you will help them release a few of their men from prison as well as help them get prepared for the next attempt to take Emilio's life. Continue to beat the missions for the thieves guild and you will unlock the assassination mission. For the assassination first you must take out the archers on the roof. Then you must enter the building that Emilio is in. I highly suggest you enter from the rooftops rather than from the main entrance. There are a lot of guards in the area and you don't want to pick a fight with them. Once you are in the building sneak onto the main staircase where you will find Emilio. Assassinate him and watch as the thieves guild archers take out the guards in the area. Once Emilio is assassinated you will recieve money and the trophy.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/260/14.jpg The Impenetrable Palazzo (Silver Trophy)

Complete DNA Sequence 8.

This is story related and can't be missed. Below is a spoiler do not read it if you do not want to know about the DNA sequence.

You two will plan out your attack and you will find that the place where your target, Carlo Grimaldi is is very heavily guarded. You will go to Leonardo Da Vinci and he will give you his Flying Machine to use. You will need to fly over the fires until you reach the roof of the building where Carlo is. Once there assassinate all the guards on the rooftop and make sure not to get caught. Go to the marker where you need to be and watch the cutscene. Once the cutscene ends immediately go after Carlo. Don't even worry about his guards. Assassinate Carlo and run out of the building. It may help to throw a smoke bomb. Once out of the building jump into the water and swim under water until you lose the guards. Once you lose the guards you will have completed the DNA sequence and you will have your trophy.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/260/15.jpg Masquerade (Silver Trophy)

You will test is out and then start to focus on Marco. You find out that he is always in the safe keepings of guards until his party that he will host. You must win entrance into the party but even after you win the mask needed for entrance you have it cheated out of you. You will need to steal the mask and enter the party. Marco is not stupid and knows that you are here so he sends out his guards that check every person in the small area where he is about to give a speech. You have to remain undetected for 1 minute. To do this hide in the crowds of people and when you see guards coming towards you go the opposite way. Once the time is up Marco will come out and begin giving a speech. Jump into the water and go around the backside of his boat. Use your hidden blade to assassinate the 1 soldier that guards the back of the boat. Once he go onto the boat and use your gun to shoot Marco. Once you shoot him jump into the water and swim away until you lose the guards. Once you've lost the guards go to the objective on your map which is the Brothel and the DNA sequence will end. After the DNA sequence ends you will get the trophy.

[spoiler=456]In this DNA sequence you will work with a man named Bartolomeo D'Alviano. He is a leader of a group of powerful mercenaries and you both share the common goal of wanting to kill Silvio Babarigo. You will help him get freed from prison as well as his men. Once his army is free you are ready for your attack. You need to place the mercenaries in the correct spots as they wait for your signal. Once you set off the signal the mercenaries attack the guards and leave you an open spot to kill Silvio. You run after him as well as his right hand man Dante Moro. Just continue to run after them and assassinate them both. This is a very easy sequence.

After a cutscene with your fellow assassins you must put the Codex pages in the correct order. Use your Eagle Vision and you will see blood on the Codex pages. Once completed you will see your sister Claudio sitting on a bench inside the small courtyard in front of your fathers house. Speak to her and accept her mission. The mission is not needed for the trophy but you get it early on and it will take you right near the building you need to jump from. Complete the mission and beat up Duchio. Then climb the big white building he was standing next to. Once you climb to the top of the building you will see a very tall tower. It looks like it's connected to the building but it's not and you will need to jump over to it. Continue to climb that tower until you reach the top. Synchronize when you're at the top and jump from the wooden plank into the bale of hay below and you will get the trophy. Once again the side mission is not necessary but it was the easiest way to explain where the building was. The following is a video of the trophy. Thanks RoosterTeeth for the video.

Once you are next to it face it and hit the :circle: button again and Ezio will throw the dead body into the bale of hay. It can be a citizen or guard it doesn't matter. Do this 5 times and you will get the trophy. The people must be thrown in the same bale of hay for the trophy to pop up.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/260/23.jpg Fly Swatter (Bronze Trophy)

Kick a Guard while using the Flying Machine.

In DNA sequence 8 you will fly the Flying Machine to your assassination target. To kick a guard while your flying simply hold :l1: and fly towards him. Ezio will lock on to the guard and kick him as he passes. I suggest you do this on the first set of archers you see as they are out in the open and pretty easy to kill. This is in fact a missable trophy. If you do not get a target you will not be able to get the trophy as it is the only time in the game where you use the Flying Machine. If you are near the end and haven't kicked a guard yet simply fly into a building or the ground so you die and can start from the beginning of the flying sequence.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/260/24.jpg Messer Sandman (Bronze Trophy)

Stun 4 guards at once by throwing sand in their face.

To unlock the ability to throw sand you must talk to the trainer that is outside of your Auditore stronghold. Talk to him and go down to special moves. Then go into unarmed and complete the training. Now that you have the ability unlocked find a group of soldiers that are walking around and hold :square:. Once you're fully charged let go of :square: and hit at least 4 guards with the sand. Once they are hit with the sand you will get the trophy. Here is a video of how it's done.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/260/25.jpg Doctor (Bronze Trophy)

Perform an Air Assassination on a Poisoned NPC.

In the beginning of DNA sequence 5 you will unlock the ability to put poison on your hidden blade. Once you are able to do this poison someone. It can be either a guard or citizen it doesn't matter. Just make sure that there is something you can climb on top of so that you can jump down and assassinate the person. Once they start going crazy and flailing their arms around jump towards them and assassinate them. Once you kill him you will get the trophy. Below is a video on how to do it. Thanks for UH60Jonathan the video.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/260/26.jpg No-hitter (Bronze Trophy)

Kill 10 enemies while remaining in conflict without being hit.

This one sounds harder than it actually is. Once you can counter that's all you really need for this trophy. Get into a big group of guards and make sure there is enough there. If there isn't enough guards simply provoke the guards in some way and run into another big group of guards and there should be enough. You must kill 10 enemies without leaving battle without being hit. Just continue to counter until you've killed 10 enemies. This may take a few tries but once you master the counter skill this should be no problem at all.

Alternatively you could do what is shown in this video. For this method to work though you must have smoke bombs available to you. Thanks XCVii007r1 for the video.

Pickpocket 1000 Florins.

To pickpocket money simply walk and hold the :cross: button when near people. You will slip your hand in their pockets and take their money. You will get about 10 Florins per person you steal from. Make sure not to stay near the person you just stole from or they will alert the guards. Just continue to steal from people until you've gotten the trophy. Below is a video of how it is done. The only difference is instead of pressing A to steal, push :cross: instead. Thanks Subscribe 2 GAM3VIDZ for the video.

Once you see one disarm him so you get his weapon. The get a big group of guards in front of you and use your sweep attack by holding in the :square: button. This one may take a couple tries but after you get the hang of the move you will get it in no time at all. Below is a good video of how it's done (credit to PowerPyx).

Continue to do this until you've gotten the trophy.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/260/50.jpg Man of the People (Bronze Trophy)

When you're in a group of citizens you can throw money on the ground to catch their attention as well as the that of nearby guards, just continue to throw money on the ground near big groups of people until the trophy pops up. is that the only missable trophy?

So far I've only done one part of the game with the flying machine. I'm not sure if there are any other parts in the game that use this as of now. I am also not sure if it is like Assassin's Creed 1 where after the game you got to just play around. There is a lot more missable trophies if you can't play once you beat the game but as of now there is only one.

I've yet to see any collectible guides anywhere. You may be the first! I found all the statues around your uncle Mario's town that are to be placed on the pedestals surrounding the back area of the villa. They're all within the town, so there's no need to go outside the walls. The reward isn't an item, so don't freak out if you don't find all the statues.

You also can't use a treasure map to find them. The treasure maps only show the location of chests of gold.

thanks for the guide, seems decent enough.

tho i read the first 2 and i already know too much about the game from them now without playing it, they arent big spoliers but they are still spoliers, not critizing, thanks for taking the time to write it, i just wish i didnt read those lol

You literally experience both of them within 5 minutes of starting up the game. If you're playing the game chances are you have gotten those ones even before you thought about looking at a guide. If you really think they are spoilers I will put them in tags but I honestly don't believe they are.

anyway you can estimate time to platinum?? rentable?

I'm not sure how long it's going to take for the collectibles. The story alone will take you about 20 hours to complete. I'm thinking right now it will take about 25-30 hours to complete. I'm unsure though when I get the platinum I will tell you what time I finished it at.
