AstroFlibble
This is a supplement guide to the Mad Max Trophy Guide & Roadmap. Mad Max has a fairly standard trophy list for an open world game, with lots of trophies for completing the story, side quests and activities and a few collectables. However, there is one trophy which dominates your time and may leave some players struggling, especially if left to the end. That trophy is Up To The Task, which is what this guide deals with. As such, you need to keep the tougher challenges in mind as you play through. I will endeavour to make getting the Platinum as easy as possible by breaking down the tougher challenges and suggesting decent spots to attempt them. http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/2105/a32.jpg Up to the Task Complete all non-repeating challenges UNOBTAINABLE DUE TO SERVER CLOSURE There are 144 challenges that will need to be completed for this trophy. Before I begin breaking down what these challenges are and how to earn them, there are a few things to bear in mind: * You will only need to complete the challenges that don’t have 'completed X amount of times' under the description. * Whenever you have completed one of the trickier challenges, make sure you do not die before the game saves. Doing so means you’ll have to complete the challenge again. * Some players have been reporting issues with challenges not tracking properly. Make sure to change your autosave at regular intervals to ensure you have a multiple back-ups should anything go wrong. The most common problem is to do with scavenging locations being stuck at 190/191. The best advice I can give for this is to complete scavenging locations in large chunks, checking your stats after each 5 to see if they have been added correctly. Change autosaves before each 'checkpoint' so you don't have to go back that far should anything go wrong. * For most of the wasteland activities there are multiple challenges e.g. there are 4 challenges related to completing scavenging locations, with the 4th and final one requiring 191 to complete. If, for example, you had completed most of the scavenging locations in Jeet's territory and noticed that your challenge count was at 20/191 then this is not a glitch. The total you have completed is the sum of the first three challenges added to your progress on the final one, which would be 56 overall. * Storms are required for several challenges but some players have been reporting that they don't occur very often. While you should come across enough storms during your playthrough to complete all the relevant challenges, restarting your game has a good chance to result in a storm showing up within the first 10-15 minutes. Challenges are broken down into 3 categories - Wasteland, Ground Combat & Car Combat. A vast majority of the wasteland challenges are directly tied into other activities you need to complete for trophies so these will be completed naturally as you progress through the game. The ground and car combat ones will need more focusing on, especially for highest ranked combos and specific takedowns with archangels and enemy vehicles. Wasteland Basically, every major activity in game has a challenge related to it. All 51 challenges in the first part of this section will be completed as your work your way towards each of the respective trophies. For more information on each of these activities, you should refer to the main guide. One small thing to note about sniper towers is that they are not just at the locations where you have to eliminate snipers but also at Scrotus camps. * Low Hanging Fruit - Complete 5 scavenging locations * What's Yours is Mine - Complete 13 scavenging locations * Picking the Carcass - Complete 18 scavenging locations * Reaper of the Harvest - Complete 191 scavenging locations * Paradise Lost - Find 3 history relics * Faded Memories - Find 15 history relics * Clearing the Fog - Reveal 3 regions by using balloons * Revelations - Reveal 13 regions by using balloons * Man is not made for Defeat - Repopulate 2 camps * Rising from the Ashes - Repopulate 12 camps * A place to lay my Hat - Repopulate all remaining 22 camps * A Sign of the Times - Destroy 8 Scrotus insignia * Pain and Triumph - Destroy 15 Scrotus insignia * A Declaration of War - Destroy 30 Scrotus insignia * The writing's on the Wall - Destroy the remaining 77 insignia * Eradicator - Complete the main objectives for 1 camp * 2 Birds with 1 Stone - Complete the main and optional objectives for 3 Scrotus camps * Make Hay while the Sun Shines - Complete the main and optional objectives for 10 Scrotus camps * Multi-task Master - Complete the main and optional objectives for 15 Scrotus camps * Death on your Doorstep - Complete main and optional objectives for remaining 9 Scrotus camps * Shooing the Rooks - Destroy 4 scarecrows * A cat amongst the Pigeons - Destroy 12 scarecrows * Scattered Ashes - Destroy 15 scarecrows * From Dust to Dust - Destroy 20 scarecrows * He who watches the watchers - Destroy all remaining 28 scarecrows * Pick of the Day - Take out 5 Scrotus Leadslingers * I've got my eye on you - Take out 10 Scrotus Leadslingers * Storming the Guard - Destroy 5 large Sniper towers * Toppler - Destroy 10 large Sniper towers * Precautionary Measures - Destroy 5 land mines * Calm like a Bomb - Destroy 10 land mines * Cut the right Wire - Destroy 30 land mines * No need to call the Bomb Squad - Defuse all 45 remaining land mines * Calling the Shots - Reduce all threat within 1 region of Jeet's territory * Striking their Colours - Reduce all threat within 1 region of Gutgash's territory * What goes Around - Reduce all threat within 1 region of Pink Eye's territory * The coast is Clear - Reduce all threat in remaining 4 regions within Jeet's territory * Calm Seas - Reduce all threat in remaining 4 regions within Gutgash's territory * The Dust Settles - Reduce all threat in remaining 4 regions within Pink Eye's territory * Lock, Stock and Barrel - Complete all stockpile projects for Jeet * Keep your powder Dry - Complete 5 projects for Jeet * All wrapped Up - Complete the remaining 6 projects for Jeet * Full to the Gunwales - Complete all stockpile projects for Gutgash * All hands on Deck - Complete 5 projects for Gutgash * Batten down the Hatches - Complete the remaining 6 projects for Gutgash * Save it for a Rainy Day - Complete all stockpile projects for Pink Eye * The Wheels are Turning - Complete 5 projects for Pink Eye * Move that Bus - Complete the remaining 6 projects for Pink Eye * Fuel to the Fire - Complete all stockpile projects for Deep Friah * Irons in the Fire - Complete 5 projects for Deep Friah * Burning the Midnight Oil - Complete the remaining 6 projects for Deep Friah Edited November 2, 2020 by Terminator Added a server closure notice. AstroFlibble
The following 4 challenges are related to wasteland encounters. These are moments you have with strangers scattered across the wasteland, denoted by a blue circle with a black apostrophe. * A Talkative Man - Speak with 8 Encounters in Jeet's territory * Chatty Chatty - Speak with 11 Encounters in Gutgash's territory * Bigmouth - Speak with 12 Encounters in Pink Eye's territory * Making Friends in Gastown - Speak with 7 Encounters in Gastown There are 9 challenges related to collecting a certain amount of scrap. The ones related to Camps, Scrap Crews and Clean-up Crews are best started as early as possible. You'll earn 20 scrap per liberated camp roughly every 20-25 minutes. Scrap Crews reward you with 6 scrap per hour, per camp since the last deposit. Clean-Up Crews automatically pick-up scrap from vehicles you destroy within the territory the project(s) are active. The sooner you start these, the sooner you will complete 'The One Percent'. * Don't spend it all in one Place - Collect 1000 scrap * Metal Detector - Collect 10000 scrap * The One Percent - Collect 45000 scrap * Canary in a Coalmine - earn 1000 scrap from repopulated camps * Sitting on a Goldmine - earn 10000 scrap from repopulated camps * A Penny Saved - Earn 500 scrap from Scrap Crews - Impossible due to server closure * Dividend - Earn 2000 scrap from Scrap Crews - Impossible due to server closure * Trash is Treasure - Earn 500 scrap from Clean Up Crews * Clean Sweep - Earn 2000 scrap from Clean Up Crews The final 17 challenges in the wasteland section are miscellaneous ones that you will either complete through natural progression, are tied to other trophies or require you to complete a simple task. * We Die to each other Daily - Kill 60 enemies from the Scrotus faction, either on foot or in a vehicle * A Threat is a Threat - Kill 60 enemies from the Roadkill faction, either on foot or in a vehicle * Silencing the Squawk - Kill 30 enemies from the Buzzard faction, either on foot or in a vehicle * Major Blowout - Shoot 30 tires on moving vehicles with the Shotgun * Set up us the Bomb - Destroy 50 red barrels * Tentative Tastebuds - Eat 1 serving of maggots * Flavour of the Month - Eat 6 cans of food * Wasteland Gourmet - Eat 12 cans of food * Happy Hour - Give water to 1 Wanderer * Sticky Fingers - Open 5 containers or doors using the Jimmy Bar * Pandora's Box - Open 10 containers or doors using the Jimmy Bar * Behold, The Flying Fox - Use 30 zip lines * Like a 10 day Camel - Fill the Canteen fully, 30 times (30000 drops) - entering a stronghold with the water storage project completed will count towards this, as it refills your canteen. Otherwise, simply fill as much of your canteen as possible everytime you come across a water source. * Tango in a Twister - Defeat 3 enemies, either on foot or in a vehicle, while in a storm - when a storm hits, head to the nearest scavenging location. If you don't find any enemies there, keep trying until you find some. Alternatively, you can just combine this with 'Morrison Effect' and destroy enemies in a vehicle. * 2 are better than 4 - Destroy 5 moving vehicles while on foot - this is best done on vehicles with no armour, which will most commonly be found in Jeet's territory. Use the Shotgun to target the fuel tanks and blow-up 5 vehicles, * What are the Chances - Collect 3 boxes of scrap from Muthaloot crates - Muthaloot crates are found flying around in storms. You can use the Magnum Opus' harpoon to catch and reel them in. Then break the crate open with Max and collect the scrap inside. * Amateur Archaeology - Pull 1 buried vehicle out of the sand with the harpoon - these buried vehicles are more common in Pink Eye's territory. When you are roaming around, Chum will call out a nearby buried vehicle. Edited November 2, 2020 by Terminator Added server closure notices. AstroFlibble
Ground Combat Ground combat in Mad Max is a mixture of hand to hand moves, finishers, a few melee weapons and your trusty shotgun. Most of these challenges you should get while progressing through the story, wasteland missions and side activities. The 8 challenges listed below should be considered ones that you shouldn't need to think about and can be completed easily at any or multiple locations. * As vicious as a Bandicoot - Defeat 5 enemies by impaling them with a Thunderstick - Thundersticks are found at various camps across the map. When an enemy is close, press to impale them. * Laying the Smackdown - Kill 100 enemies in melee combat * Suckerpunched - Perform 10 Gut Shot kills using the Shotgun - while upgrading Max you will gain access to the Gut Shot finisher. Once you have this upgrade, you can execute an enemy at close range by using your shotgun. * Swing Batter Batter! - Defeat 5 enemies with a melee weapon * Slam Dunked! - Perform a Fury Finisher on 15 enemies - using any finisher move while Fury mode is activated should count for this challenge. You can unlock these finishers in the skills section of the Max upgrade menu. * Bone Crunching - Defeat 10 enemies with a melee weapon * Peace Pact - Disarm 5 enemies * Rendered Defenseless - Disarm 10 enemies - you will be able to disarm enemies that have a melee weapon once you have purchased the 'Reversal' and 'Master Melee Reversal' upgrades in the skills section of the Max menu. The remaining 11 challenges require combos and chains to complete. Most of the lower levels shouldn't be too challenging but the final level for each set may prove to be quite tricky for some players and be harder to complete once the story missions and camps are finished. * Slow Burner - Fill the Fury meter in 60 seconds or less * Measured Savagery - Fill the Fury meter in 50 seconds or less * Feeding Frenzy - Fill the Fury meter in 40 seconds or less * Rage against the Meter - Fill the Fury meter in 30 seconds or less * A taste for Violence - Fill the Fury meter in 20 seconds or less * Rattling your Dags - Fill the Fury meter in 10 seconds or less Filling the fury meter quickly can be done via two methods. Either you need to have a high combo chain (which fills up the meter faster with each hit) or finish off quite a few enemies in quick succession. It is pretty unlikely that you will be able to complete Rattling your Dags at the start of a fight. Instead, you will need to build up your fury meter by fighting a large group of enemies. Once fury is active, try to keep your combo chain active without finishing off many enemies - punch and roll is a good tactic here (punch one enemy, then roll, then punch another, roll again etc.). Once fury ends, quickly finish off a handful of enemies with powerful moves and you should be quick enough. Melee weapons, finishing moves and Gut Shots are a great way to fill your meter quickly. There are multiple places across the map which work well for attempting this. Many camps, especially Havoc Point (Pink Eye's Territory - Knit Sack) & Proving Grounds (Gutgash's Territory - Cadavanaugh) have large groups and waves of enemies to defeat. The final mission in Act 3 also serves as a good place. After game completion, there are multiple scavenging locations in Gastown where large groups of enemies will respawn. These scavenging locations don't have as many enemies as camps do but it at least gives you a shot at completing this challenge if you have already finished the game. The video below shows how I managed to complete this challenge. I was trying for a combo, but that didn't work out. However, doing damage to enemies but leaving them to be finished off once fury ended, worked perfectly. [ame] [/ame] * Fists of Fury - Perform a combo chain of 15 or above * Found my Rhythm - Perform a combo chain or 20 or above Every punch, kick, finishing move and Gut Shot counts towards building your combo chain. Any instance where the enemy grabs or hits you will break it. The Havoc Point camp mentioned above is an excellent place to complete these challenges, as are many other camps with medium sized groups of enemies. The more basic enemies you have - the ones who will simply try to punch you - the easier it will be. * Untouchable - Defeat 8 enemies in melee combat in a row without taking any damage. * Unbreakable - Defeat 12 enemies in melee combat in a row without taking any damage. Defeating 12 enemies in melee combat without taking damage sounds tougher than it is. Firstly, you don't need to do all of these within the same battle. You could defeat a group of enemies in a camp, and then roam around the wasteland for a while, picking off small groups of enemies, until you reach 12. You could also stretch this over several scavenging locations. You can even roam the wasteland, where all threat has been cleared and pick of several enemies at a time. In areas where threat has been cleared, there are often vehicles parked by the side of the road, with one or two basic enemies standing by them. In Jeet's territory enemies can be coaxed out of patrols by ripping one tyre of each vehicle. These basic enemies and can very easily be defeated in melee combat. When going for this challenge, make sure you don't take damage from any source at all, as it will break the chain. Also, don't kill any enemies through car combat, as this will also break the chain. The challenge won't show up as completed until you take damage though so make sure to keep count of how many you have defeated. * Unstoppable - Kill 8 enemies in melee combat during 1 Fury Mode. The final tricky challenge is to kill 8 enemies in one fury mode. Firstly, make sure fury mode is fully upgraded by visiting Griffa and upgrading the Channeling ability. Secondly you'll need a location with lots of enemies. The two camps mentioned above for 'Rattling Your Dags' are ideal locations, as is the final mission in Act 3 (the location I completed this challenge). Finishing off an enemy will partially refill the fury meter while Fury Mode is active so it is best to build up your meter by causing damage to but not actually killing, as many enemies as possible then once Fury Mode is active you can unleash your finishing moves. If you fail to complete the challenge during one run, then make sure you have a save at the start of the camp and try again. If you have already finished off the story and all camps, then the scavenging locations in Gastown are also a viable option, as the camps here have plenty of enemies, who regularly respawn. However, it is probably better to go in with a partially filled Fury meter, as these locations have less enemies. The video below highlights where two such locations are. Please note that if you are struggling with any of the other combat challenges, then these locations are also viable. This also includes impaling enemies with the Thunderstick, as the vantage point I start at has a rack with those on at the top. [ame] [/ame] Edited October 13, 2015 by Terminator Editorial Sweep. AstroFlibble
Vehicle Combat Vehicle combat challenges are more or less split into two categories - ones you will complete without having to think about them and ones you will need specific vehicles to complete. When a challenge asks you to defeat an enemy vehicle, using the shotgun counts but pulling wheels off with the harpoon doesn't. A lot of challenges ask you to defeat any vehicle from a specific faction. Scrotus vehicles are quite common as long as threat is still high but are far less common once the threat level has been reduced to 0. They can be farmed by attacking a convoy and destroying all but the lead vehicle, as you can return later to find that the rest of the convoy has respawned. You will find plenty of Roadkill vehicles in death races, and so these are ideal farming locations. Finally, Buzzard vehicles are the least common of all. They come out at night and can be found patrolling in any territory but I did find one spot where 2 Buzzard vehicles will respawn over and over, which is also very close to a fast travel spot. The following video highlights this location. [ame] [/ame] The following 14 challenges you should get through normal game progression, with most combining with the specific vehicle on vehicle challenges mentioned later. * Roadkiller - Defeat 10 Roadkill vehicles by any means * Up the Ante - Defeat 50 Roadkill vehicles by any means * Pup of War - Defeat 10 Scrotus vehicles by any means * Dog of War - Defeat 50 Scrotus vehicles by any means * Expeller - Defeat 5 Buzzard vehicles by any means * Banisher - Defeat 20 Buzzard vehicles by any means * Safe Sex - Defeat 6 vehicles by grinding * Ridin' Shotgun - Shoot 10 drivers with the Shotgun * Pit Stop - Pull 5 tires from moving vehicles using the Harpoon * Bang for the Buck - Destroy 15 vehicle mounted fuel tanks with the Shotgun * Here's the Big Chief - Defeat 3 Scrotus vehicles with a V8 engine installed * Thorn in your Side - Defeat 5 vehicles by T-boning * Nudge Nudge - Defeat 5 vehicles using the Side Ram * Where There's Thunder - Defeat 10 vehicles using the Thunderpoon These next 4 challenges are fairly straightforward but can be combined with specific Archangel challenges to save time. * Bullheaded - Defeat 12 vehicles going head to head while using Boost * Tire Popper - Shoot out 2 tires on a moving vehicles using the Sniper Rifle * Point and Shoot - Shoot out 2 fuel tanks on moving vehicles using the Sniper Rifle * Strangers on a Train - Maintain grinding contact for at least 5 seconds, 1 time The next set of challenges most involves using a specific vehicle or destroying a specific vehicle. To acquire any of the wasteland vehicles, look it up by selecting 'Collectables' on the main menu, and then by clicking onto 'Vehicle Collection'. Here you can select any vehicle and see which death race it is associated with. Entering a death race with the required vehicle and winning it adds that vehicle to your collection, which enables you to select it at any stronghold. If you need to destroy a specific vehicle, you can drive it out of any stronghold, park it up and summon the Magnum Opus by using the flare gun. You can then use the Magnum Opus to destroy this vehicle. You can also use the death races to complete some of the challenges. * Two can play that game - Defeat 3 enemy vehicles while driving a Skullbutts - load up the Corner Cut death race, select the Skullbutts and destroy 3 vehicles. * Sparks will fly - Defeat a Sideblender or Metal Grinder while driving a Sideblender or Metal Grinder - from Pink Eye's Stronghold select either of the required vehicles. If you don't have either, obtain one by winning the respective death race (Neck Snappin for both). The drive to the vantage point in Rot 'N' Rusties and you should find a Metal Grinder. Simply destroy the vehicle. * My Little Friend - Defeat 3 vehicles while driving the Buggy - load up the Summit of the Mighty death race, select Chum's Buggy and destroy 3 vehicles. * Scrotus Kebab - Defeat 1 Scrotus vehicle while driving a Prickles - obtain the Prickles by winning the Buckle Down death race. Then drive it out of a stronghold and head to the nearest convoy. Simply defeat one vehicle from that convoy. * Bug Eye Crush - Defeat 1 Buzzard vehicle while driving a Crusher - you can acquire this vehicle from the Heat Haze death race. Either drive to the Buzzard location above (do not fast travel as you revert back to the Magnum Opus), or drive around at night until you find a Buzzard vehicle. * Offshoot - Without using a Wasteland Jump, achieve 2 seconds of air time while driving the Buggy, 3 times - from Jeet's Stronghold, drive out with Chum's Buggy, turn around and drive off the cliff. Repeat twice more. * Throw another on the Barbie - Defeat 5 vehicles using the flame pipe from a Fire Raider, Flamergamer or Charbone - select one of the death races associated with either of these vehicles. (Fire Raider = Even Rip, Flamergamer & Charbone = Pothole Ridge). You can attempt to destroy vehicles within the death race but it is far easier to use stationary vehicles, seeing as the flame pipe only fires directly behind your car. * Signed and Sealed - Destroy 1 vehicle using explosives from a Drop Kicker - load up Pothole Ridge and destroy one of your competitors. Press to drop a cluster of 5 explosives from the back of your vehicle. * Morrison Effect - Defeat 3 vehicles in a storm while driving the Magnum Opus - when a storm hits, find the nearest convoy and destroy 3 vehicles. * Chicken Soup - Defeat 5 Rammerhead or Skullbutt vehicles by ramming head to head with the level 5 "Clawjaw Kill Grill" - this is the highest level ramming grill available for the Magnum Opus. It is a part used on the "Jugger of Virtue" Archangel, and so can be combined with one of its specific challenges. Use the stronghold trick 5 times to complete the challenge. * Bug Killer - Defeat an enemy, either on foot or in a vehicle, by driving a Kaboom Bug and using its explosion - this challenge is most easily done in the Kaboom Bug death race. Once you have started the race, press to activate the Kaboom Bug's bomb, jump out and run away! The race will fail, but the bomb will still be active and should kill an enemy as soon as you continue. Thanks to dagrendal for sharing this tip. * In your Dreams - Defeat 3 Boarder vehicles with the Thunderpoon - A boarder vehicle is one which has enemies in the back who try to jump onto your vehicle when in close proximity. You'll find them in convoys, especially in Gutgash's territory. * Kill Twitch - Shake 10 jumpers off the Magnum Opus without using a weapon * Stick It To Ya - Kill 15 enemies using Boarder Spikes - The convoys in Gutgash's territory have at least one vehicle with a few boarders on. Simply farm these convoys until you have completed the challenge. You can also use this method to complete Kill Twitch. Finally, there are 12 amount of challenges that each require the use of a specific Archangel. Once again, you can use death races or the stronghold trick to quickly destroy enemy vehicles. * Smite the Heathens - Destroy 15 Roadkill vehicles while driving the "Jugger of Virtue" Archangel * Smite the Wicked - Destroy 15 Scrotus vehicles while driving the "Jugger of Virtue" Archangel * Smite the Demons - Defeat 15 Buzzard vehicles while driving the "Jugger of Virtue" Archangel * Backdraft - Defeat 2 Fire Raiders while driving the "Sanguine Guardian" Archangel * Rule the Day - Shoot 2 fuel tanks on moving vehicles using the Sniper Rifle, while driving the "Rule of War" Archangel - find a convoy route in Gutgash's or Pink Eye's territory, select the sniper rifle and wait for a convoy to come along. Once the convoy has gone past you, aim for the fuel tanks on two vehicles. This will also complete 'Point and Shoot'. Take out a few tires while here to also complete 'Tire Popper' * Angel Without Wings - Without using a Wasteland Jump, catch 3 seconds of air time while driving the "Lord Gravel" Archangel, 1 time - fast travel to The Reconvene. From there head west and you will reach the edge of the Big Nothing. There are huge cliffs you can jump from here. * State of Efficiency - Defeat 2 vehicles within 5 seconds of each other while driving the "Kill Box" Archangel, 5 times - load up the Corner Cut death race, select the Kill Box, and then fire on any of your rivals with the Thunderpoon as soon as the race starts. The explosion should easily destroy 2 vehicles. * Let's be overly Specific - Defeat 1 vehicle in a storm while driving the "Aurelian the Ready" Archangel * Holy Rolling - Defeat 12 vehicles by ramming while driving the "Radiant Shadow" Archangel * Keep it Clean - Defeat 5 vehicles by grinding while driving the "Cardinal Grinder" Archangel - most easily done within the Neck Snappin' death race. Target one vehicle at the start and grind alongside it until destroyed. Exit the vehicle to fail, then reload and repeat. Make sure to stay in grinding contact for 5 seconds at least once, to also complete 'Strangers on a Train'. * Gum Shoe - Defeat 1 vehicle from Stank Gum's battalion while driving the "Soul Sweeper" Archangel - vehicles from Stank Gum's battalion are found in Gastown. * Please Drive Faster - Maintain full cruising speed for 1.9 miles (3058m) while driving the "Righteous Spike" Archangel - Please refer to the following video for an ideal location to try this out. The challenge will not complete until you have stopped your vehicle. [ame] [/ame] Edited October 13, 2015 by Terminator Editorial Sweep.

LionSquid
Might be worth making a new save before every camp, in addition to other regular saves. I say this because I counted up the insignias inside the remaining camps and I'm one short. I went back the next most recent save and it still doesn't add up. All the others saves are 10+ hours older. Might re-visit the camps I've already done to see if anything is up, but that is a really unappealing plan. Probably just going to wait to see if it gets patched. What a huge downer, I was trying to see if I could plat in under 70 hours but now... fuck. swotam
can i still earn this if i ran over a bomb , because im at 13 of 45 and each site had 3 so far. Yes, you can. I ran over a couple during my playthrough and had no issues with the challenge completing. The game counts the ones you detonated towards the total, so you should be fine. Also, thanks to Asto for allowing me to add this to my Trophy Guide & Roadmap. It's linked in the section for the Up to the Task trophy. This and the issue with scavenging locations seem to be the 2 dominating problems with challenges. I've added a bit more detail to the start of the guide regarding them. Hopefully the issues will get fixed soon.

swotam
The respawn in all the areas as far as I can tell, with the exception of the balloon outposts, so you should be good to go back for more fights. DrakeHellsing
They better, cause they seem to be good locations for it. I mean I think I got to like 6/7 kills... I even had a weapon to use... after disarming someone for said weapon XD God... I have a love/hate relationship with this game x.x

Bezenko
Are there any vehicle combat challenges that are significantly easier with convoys than in death runs?
swotam
Are there any vehicle combat challenges that are significantly easier with convoys than in death runs? Well, you'll want to be using convoys for stuff like grinding wheels and killing boarders with spikes, because the races aren't so good for that sort of thing, and there's no boarders. Races are good for when you need to do one-off stuff to a moving vehicle like shoot the gas tank, driver, snipe tires, etc. Convoys are better for stuff that requires you to be around other vehicles for an extended period of time. You basically have to mix and match depending on what needs doing.
