Whispering Willows is a port of a successfully Kickstarted PC adventure game released in 2014. In it, you play as Elena, a young woman who arrives at a haunted mansion in search of her missing father. She is aided by several spirits in the grounds and is able to turn into a ghost herself to help open up new pathways. There are many notes scattered throughout the grounds but there are no trophies related to picking them all up or reading them, though they do provide flavor and backstory to the game.

There are several missable trophies in the game, which used to require a full restart but after complaints from PC players, the developers patched in a "point of no return" autosave players can load after beating the game. The game also has no manual save option; instead it autosaves every time you enter or exit a room.

To make sure you get all the trophies in one playthrough – and minimize backtracking – here's where you should be trophy-wise by the end of each chapter (in likely order you'll get them):

Chapter 1

First Contact (B)(H)

I Ain't Afraid of No Ghost (B)(H)

Give Them a Hand (B)(H)

It's a Me, Boo (Missable) (B)

Free Bird (S)(H)

Chapter 2

What Ghost Up Must Come Down (B)(H)

What Does the Fox Say? (Missable) (B)

Itsy Bitsy (B)(H)

Flower Power (B)(H)

Irish He Was Alive (B)(H)

Chapter 3

Fantastic Amphibian (Missable) (B)

Ready Corset Ghost (B)(H)

Wine Not (B)(H)

This S*** is Bananas (Missable)(B)

Light Light (Missable)(B)

Chapter 4

Family Reunion (B)(H)

Rest Your Soul (Missable)(B)

Knight Light (B)

Sixth Sense (S)

If you'd rather follow along to a complete playthrough (with all trophies), Maka has done a video walkthrough

. HOWEVER, this is for the XBLA version, and does not cover It's a Me, Boo (B) so if you are following the guide you will have to get that yourself. You have ample opportunity to do so throughout the game. Additionally, it shows an achievement that is only in the XBLA version (A-Frame, about 48 minutes in) so feel free to ignore that. Trophy Guide:

Solve the Knight Puzzle

Near the end of the game you'll come across three Knight statues, you need to position their weapons in a certain way to open a series of doors. The trophy will unlock after you set the last Knight to rights. If you cannot figure out the puzzle solution, see the pictures below. Note that you'll need to solve two Knights to get the required piece for the third Knight.

Beat the Game

Soon after the Knight puzzle you'll meet up with the game's baddie. Go through a series of cutscenes and (very) light possession puzzles and the game will eventually end, thus giving you your trophy. If you somehow mess up on any of the possession puzzles, the game will go right back to the start of the puzzle.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/3769/9bc.jpg Fantastic Amphibian (B)

Find the amazing frog

Near the beginning of Chapter 3, you'll be in a kitchen area of the mansion and will pick up a bloody knife. Once it's in your inventory, go back to the garden behind the mansion and enter the door pictured.

[spoiler=Garden Door]http://i.imgur.com/eOL7Wye.jpg

Follow the path and you'll eventually reach an area with two statues and brambles you can cut. In this new area and to the right, you'll see a fountain and hear a frog. Examine the fountain for the trophy to pop. Depending on when you get the trophy, the hedges may still be trying to grab you.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/3769/159.jpg It's a Me, Boo (B)

Find the Secret Room

Once you leave the catacombs, you'll exit into the garden area. Leaving that will allow you to access the rest of the areas of the game, including the mansion. Go there, stand in front of the mansion and use your ghost form to go to the top right window. The ghost can enter here, and on the left of the room is a ghost that acts suspiciously familiar. The trophy will pop when you leave the room.

This can be gotten through most of the game until near the end of Chapter 3 but it's best to get this done early on.

Pictures below if needed:

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/3769/af2.jpg What does the Fox Say? (B)

Find the fox

During Chapter 2, in the mansion, you'll find yourself in a trophy room. Just to the left of the entrance is a fox. Examine it and the trophy will pop.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/3769/ce2.jpg Rest Your Soul (B)

Rest at a bonfire

The description for this is misleading, because there are no actual fires. In Chapter 4, after going through the basement passage of the observatory, you'll find a ladder. Climb up it to find a sitting room. Examine the (empty) fireplace and the trophy will pop.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/3769/3c9.jpg This S*** is Bananas (B)

Find the Animax logo

After going through the wine cellar, you'll be in an area with several floors. Go to the room on the bottom right (there's a Doll's House in here next to the door) and you'll see a picture of a banana peel. Examine it and the trophy will pop.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/3769/7d8.jpg Light Light (B)

Find the Night Light logo

After freeing Fleur, leave the mansion and go to the observatory behind the mansion. In ghost form you'll illuminate a logo on the staircase, hover over it for a bit to get the trophy to pop.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/3769/29f.jpg First Contact (B)(H)

Meet Flying Hawk

During the tutorial level you'll meet Flying Hawk. He'll teach you how to transform into a ghost. Follow the path through the crack and possess the lever to open the door blocking Elena. Once you go back into Elena's body the trophy will pop.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/3769/405.jpg I Ain't Afraid Of No Ghost (B)(H)

Escape the Catacombs

Once you've opened the crypt and gotten the Crescent Key, a ghost will appear and start chasing you. Head back to the right, use the ghost to possess the lever and open the door and go through it. Once you've climbed up the ladder, the ghost will stop chasing you and the trophy will pop.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/3769/667.jpg Give Them A Hand (B)(H)

Escape the Basement

In the guest house, you'll be required to find sheet music for a ghost. He'll play a song that will open a passage in the fireplace. Enter it and dig when prompted (the shovel can be found in the tool shed near the front of the mansion). You'll anger all the bodies buried in the dirt and have to escape to the nearby ladder. The trophy will pop once you're back in the guest house.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/3769/7de.jpg Free Bird (S)(H)

Set Flying Hawk Free

After the guest house you'll have access to the well. Using the bucket found in the garden area, lower yourself into the well and Flying Hawk will do the rest.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/3769/791.jpg What Ghost Up Must Come Down (B)(H)

Create a path for Elena

When you first enter the mansion, go to the left and use the ghost to travel to the third floor, where you'll find a table you can possess. Drag it all the way left so it falls through the floor and covers up a hole that blocks Elena's progress.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/3769/3fa.jpg Itsy Bitsy (B)(H)

Escape the Trophy Room

After finding the letter in the bottom level of the trophy room, a spider will spawn that will kill you if it touches you. Wait for it to pass by the staircase, then make your way through the room and climb up the stairs. The trophy will pop when you get back to the first level of the trophy room (where the fox is).

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/3769/93e.jpg Flower Power (B)(H)

Escape the Garden Maze

During Chapter 2 you'll be given access to the garden maze and tasked with finding three flowers. After finding the third flower (magenta) with the assistance of the ghost dog, the hedges in the background will randomly start trying to grab you. Dodge the hedges and make your way back out of the maze for the trophy.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/3769/436.jpg Irish He Was Alive (B)(H)

Set Darby Free

After gathering the bouquet in the garden maze, go back to the mansion and Darby will finally give you access to the elevator he was blocking. The trophy will pop soon after.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/3769/415.jpg Wine Not (B)(H)

Open the Wine Cellar Passage

Right after giving Fleur her love letter, she'll give you a ring that can decode sigils that your ghost form can see. In the wine cellar is a sigil telling you the combination, move the wine bottles accordingly or just look at the solution below:

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/3769/2a4.jpg Ready Corset Ghost! (B)(H)

Set Fleur free

At the beginning of Chapter 3 you'll meet Fleur, who will task you with finding a lost love letter of hers. Get the bloody knife from the nearby kitchen, then head to the conservatory (near the garden) to find the love letter. The trophy will unlock after you return to Fleur and give her the letter.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/3769/bf0.jpg Family Reunion (B)(H)

Find Your Dad

After going through the wine cellar and winding your way around the new set of rooms, you'll finally open a door and find your Dad. A cutscene will play, the Chapter 4 title card will show and the trophy will unlock.

You should really put people on point about the fact that the Youtube walkthrough you linked in your guide completely missed a trophy: "It's A ME, Boo".

I didn't use maka's video as it was achievements. It's been a long time but the video I used was a 100% trophy walkthrough. I used this one:

The walkthrough is great except it leaves out Boo and adds in an Xbox only achievement of findings the developers logo. Boo is simple and can be added at any point thru the close of Chapter 3. Just pause the walkthrough and send your ghost up to the window anytime you pass by the front of the mansion , which is about 20 times if following the walkthrough
