Maybe they... will release the third one is a new game who knows ?

NOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

COME on! We can't get screwed over by the Hobbit people again, can we? First, we get a single children's book as three separate movies, now that same book as two separate games, where the first one was already too short? **** no!

This is really disappointing. I was looking forward to the DLC. I rarely buy a game when it's first out, but I really like the movies and the first game was great. I thought for sure they'd put the DLC out the same day as the movie hit theatres. I don't mind another whole game...but I'd rather just buy the third arc for much less. :/

Hopefully we'll hear something from WB.

Found this

Something to note about this, those are actual Lego figures, not video game models. Since there's no mention of anything on there about and game publisher or dev, and the image is all real Lego figures, I'm certain that's just an advert for movie tie in Lego sets. If we were getting another game there would have been some sort of information on it at this point, especially since the movie has already been out a month.

Sort of curious if they're going to do anything at all? I wouldn't put it past them to simply ignore the whole thing and just leave the game as it is currently. Not sure if this DLC talk is based on something the TT Games actually posted, or just assumptions from the community.

On the website for the game is just says that it was "inspired by the first two films in The Hobbit Trilogy" which to me suggests that what we have might be all we're going to get. I personally haven't seen anything from TT that suggests they're working on anything related to the 3rd film.

"Definitely stay tuned for more exciting news in the near future". That sounds like a yes to me honestly.

Not surprised but it does sort of suck in the sense that they basically lied to people. I doubt they ever had plans to produce the DLC, they just said that to get more people to buy the game.

Oh well, not like I don't have a ton of stuff to play already, I haven't even played the Lego Hobbit game yet...it's still sitting on the shelf.

I doubt they lied. Things just happen sometimes. It's not like they have never produced DLC. Just look at the new Batman.
