The PS3 servers have now closed, therefore the Platinum is unobtainable if you didn't get the online trophies before that happened.

Little Big Planet 3 is the 7th game in the popular Little Big Planet franchise, 3rd going by main titles. This time Sackboy is joined by three new companions: OddSock, Toggle, and Swoop, as they reunite to once again save Bunkum from the Titans. This is the first main title in the series not being developed by Media Molecule, but fans of the series should have nothing to worry about as Sumo Digital has done an excellent job of keeping everything LBP is loved for, while introducing tons of new innovations and improvements over its predecessors. The story plays much differently than past LBPs, akin to level hub style games such as the original Sly Cooper or Jak & Daxter but with some RPG elements. I personally found it to be a refreshing change and quite enjoyable. The most time consuming part of your platinum run will come from the Adventure trophies, such as beating the game multiplayer, completing all quests, and acing all story levels. All other trophies are practically handed to you in very little time. Overall, this is a much easier platinum than past LBPs as you do not have to worry about things like collecting prize bubbles, or 24 hours of create, or having a certain number of hearts etc.

kPgVZZs.png
  • Multiplayer: You can choose to do multiplayer either locally offline or online. 2 trophies require multiplayer, which is Don't go alone... (G) and A guy called Quest (G). It has been confirmed that both of these can be done solo with 4 controllers. 2 for Don't go alone... (G), and 4 for A guy called Quest (G). See the trophies for more details. Keep in mind that if playing with others, progress for these trophies only count for the host. The same applies if you were playing on theirs. So if you are helping each other with say Don't go alone... (G), you will need 2 playthroughs or more depending on how many you are helping. If you wish to do them in online multiplayer, then feel free to use the PS3 Co-op Boosting Thread or PS4 Co-op Boosting Thread to find other players. There are two co-op threads because there is no cross-play, meaning PS3 and PS4 players cannot play together.

  • Playstation Plus: If you're wanting to play online multiplayer on Playstation 4, you will need a Playstation Plus subscription, but you don't need it to go online to access stuff like community levels and other online features. This means the game's 3 online trophies do not require a Plus subscription.

  • Bugs & Glitches: LBP 3 is plagued by numerous bugs and glitches. The more significant ones will usually be patched after a bit. Some of these may interfere with being able to get certain trophies. The trophies themselves are not glitched, but for example: Some have reported being unable to unlock A guy called Quest (G) because the Organizertron (the game's quest tracker) is bugged and would not show a certain quest as completed even though it was complete, thus preventing them from getting the trophy. NOTE: A workaround for the Organizertron bug has been discovered. I've posted it under A guy called Quest (G). Another bug can keep you from unlocking the next adventure of the story if you back out to your pod before entering the hub level of the newly unlocked adventure first. What happens is you unlock the next adventure and return to pod exiting Adventure mode, but upon returning to Adventure it is locked even though you had unlocked it. In this case it has been confirmed by numerous people that playing the final level of the last adventure over again, watching all the cutscenes again, and after being taken to the newly unlocked adventure's map and entering the hub level, fixed the problem and unlocked it. The worst bug can cause your profile to become corrupt. The rest are fairly minor and should not pose a problem that restarting the level or your game shouldn't fix. The more annoying ones occur in multiplayer, such as being kicked from the game and having to wait minutes before you can re-invite or re-join, or not even letting someone join in the first place. I highly recommend backing up your profile and save data to the cloud or a USB storage device every now and then in case you are one of the unlucky ones struck by a corrupt profile. As of patch 1.05 a new save profile function was added to the PS4 version for added security against profile corruption, since most of the corrupt profile issues occur on the Playstation 4 version. Here is the info quoted from the patch notes I posted, and also includes a link to how to backup LBP3 saved data on the PS4.

New Save Profile Functionality to Prevent Save Profile Corruption Issues

  • LittleBigPlanet 3 Game Update 1.05 introduces new Save Profile functionality on PlayStation 4 that will create a new Save Profile type that is labelled “<Username> LittleBigPlanet 3 Profile”.

This new system will run automatically in the background after installing the game update and will act as an extra layer of security to help prevent the save profile corruption issues that you may have been encountering.

Note: Whilst this new save profile format should help prevent you from losing any substantial progress. We would still recommend that to keep your save data extra-secure, you should still regularly back-up your “<Username> LittleBigPlanet 3 Profile”, the new “<Username> LittleBigPlanet 3” data and your Adventure/Popit Puzzles Profiles.

Full instructions on how to back-up your LittleBigPlanet 3 data are located here: http://community.us.playstation.com/t5/LittleBigPlanet-Pod/LittleBigPlanet-3-How-to-Backup-Data-on-PlayStation-4/td-p/44763963

  • 2 platinums: The trophy lists for LBP3 are not shared, meaning 2 separate lists for PS3 and PS4 version. That means you can get double the trophies and 2 platinums for doing the trophies twice, once in each version. Make sure you finish the platinum in one version before starting the next version's plat, or you will risk losing your saved data from the one you already started. And even after getting the plat, be sure to backup your save if you want to keep it as starting the other version can start you over at 0% on version you've already done and vice versa. Another issue has been reported where the trophies for acing Popit Academy terms 1 and 2 do not unlock on the 2nd version after you had already gotten them in another version because they are tied to your pins, which are saved to your profile, which is saved to the game's servers, but oddly it only affects the ace Popit Academy trophies. Someone has found a workaround for this. I recommend playing entirely offline to get the Popit Academy ace trophies and making it the first thing you do after the game's Introduction levels. Make sure you are offline before you even start your 2nd plat run before it creates the save data, and stay offline until you get the ace trophies for Popit Academy, then you can go online again once you have them. If you already have a save and went online, there is a workaround plus other useful info explained in the following as quoted by NyCzFiNeSt4pReZ:
"If in fact you play 100% the PS3 or ps4 version and in doing so must go online at least once for the trophies online, this will sign you into the LBP servers and in doing so will sync your LBP profile to those servers, so now your local save data will have the pins refreshed as complete for the popit academy.

Now 2 situations.

Situation 1.

If you play 100% of the stacked version popit academy offline, prior to signing into the LBP servers, you will have no issues having the academy trophies pop on the stacked version

Situation 2.

If when playing the stacked version, you do happen to sign in just once prior to completion of all popit academy on the second version, OR if you played online prior to even starting the stacked version of the popit academy, you will need to delete your profile save for that version.

*VERY IMPORTANT INFO HERE*

Now what I'm going to tell you is crucial because it can help a lot and save time and I can confirm it works, as I found it out on my ps4 version, if you played the popit academy and the hard tryer trophy popped but the trophy didn't pop for acing the first term on the second version, because your pin was already unlocked, if you delete your profile save but not your popit save, make sure you are offline, when you reload the game your progress should be all aces in first term, simply play the first popit level and your ace first term trophy will unlock.

When you complete the level."

  • Not an In-Depth Walkthrough: For the game's story and the quests, this roadmap and guide is not meant to be an in-depth walkthrough. If you need help with any quests or the game's story, you can always do a Youtube search for LittleBigPlanet 3 100% walkthrough or search LittleBigPlanet 3 followed by the name of a specific quest or level. There are even videos showing how to Ace each level for the Ace Adventurer (G) trophy.

  • Convenience: The trophies listed under each Step in the Walkthrough below are listed in the order they appear in the Trophy Guide, in case you want to go down the list instead of bouncing all over the place.

FRX7yAd.png

Most of the trophies in this game are very straight forward and easy to get, but for anyone not using a guide, the I. AM. INVINCIBLE! (S) trophy will be the hardest trophy in the game. When you first start the game you will have to play through the 5 Prologue levels before you can do much. Afterwards you will be on a map. Back out to your pod with :circle:. Once you are in your pod, before you do anything, press :start: (PS3) or :options: (PS4) to open the Settings menu. Go down to PROFILE and turn on Advanced Create Mode by making sure it has a check mark in the box next to it. It's best to get this out of the way now. Reason I recommend the following Step order is because we are already in the pod and can get the quick pod trophies out of the way. Clearing the story in Step 2 will give you the Newton Costume, which has a trophy tied to it requiring you to play a Popit Puzzle while wearing it and is part of the Popit Academy in Step 3. Popit Academy will teach you create mode controls that will be useful knowledge for the Step 4. Create Mode trophies but you can do these Steps any way you'd like. Go to your Moon and enter one of the Adventure craters, which are the hexagon shaped ones. Once in the Adventure map, press :r3: to decorate it. Choose any of the material squares you see before you to change the material to a different one and the trophy will unlock. There are other options for decorating that don't involve materials, but this is focused on the fastest way to unlock the trophy in the least amount of button presses.

Create a playlist!

UNOBTAINABLE ON PS3 DUE TO SERVER CLOSURE

(Online)

You will need to be online for this. From your pod computer go: Me => My Profile and on the right side you will see Playlists. Select it and you will see Create New Playlist. Select that and the trophy will unlock without even actually having to create the playlist.

504.jpg Let's go on an adventure! (B)

Play a Community Adventure

UNOBTAINABLE ON PS3 DUE TO SERVER CLOSURE

(Online)

You will need to be online for this trophy. There are numerous ways to find and play adventures. I am just presenting one way here which is the most convenient and fastest way. From your pod computer go: Play => Community then select "Newest Levels" from the categories. Adventures can be found in various categories, and whether one will be in certain categories depends what is going around at the time.

At the time I made this guide there were lots of adventures under Newest Levels but none for Team Picks. Regardless of which category you choose, once selected press :r3: to bring up Filters. Under Filter by Type, make sure only Adventures has a check mark next to it. Uncheck the others. From here you will either see hexagon shaped adventures, or it will say "Sorry, no results were found for your search" If you get no results then back out and do the same in another category until you get results. If you do get results, choose any that pop up. You will have to close the Filters tab the same way you opened it before you can select an adventure. Once you select an adventure then the trophy will unlock. You don't even have to play any of the levels within the adventure if you don't want. Now back out of the adventure to the list of adventures that came up in your search, and choosing any of them, press :square: for More! Then do the same again. From here you will see info about the adventure. You should see a heart option with a little heart symbol next to it. Select this to heart the adventure and the Adventurous trophy will unlock.

a3b.jpg Adventurous (B)

Heart a Community Adventure

UNOBTAINABLE ON PS3 DUE TO SERVER CLOSURE

(Online)

See Let's go on an adventure! for more info.

9e8.jpg Cartographer (G)

Create an Adventure Map

Go to your Moon and enter one of the Adventure craters, which are the hexagon shaped ones. From here you can place a level anywhere on the map by pressing :cross:. The trophy should unlock.

PZs4lwf.png

908.jpg Moon On A Stick (B)

Moons don't belong on sticks! Get rid of it!

You can get this in the 4th level of the Prologue in Adventure, called Stitchem Manor. You will come across a room with a few prize bubbles hanging overhead and a circle shaped sticker switch sticking out the left side of the room. The moon sticker required for it you will get for clearing the level. So you will have to replay the level at some point to activate the trigger. The trophy should unlock afterwards.

Win both Contraption Challenges

There are two Contraption Challenge levels in the game's story. Each one involves creating a contraption that you must use to win the challenge. You will earn prize bubbles in each challenge that will contain parts that can be used to improve your contraption to better help you win. Also, after you fail and get taken back to the start, you do not need to trash your vehicle to build a new one if you only want to change parts. Just press :left: on the D-Pad multiple times to undo anything you last changed. Any part can be placed on any of the slots on the chassis, and as many copies of a given part as you'd like. You will find the contraption challenges in the following adventures:

Book One: Manglewood

  • Contraption Challenge: The Wheel Deal

Book Three: Bunkum Lagoon

  • Contraption Challenge: Joust in Time

0fe.jpg Ace Pilot (S)

Ace the Cloud Caravan level

Each time you release one of the characters in the story (OddSock, Toggle, and Swoop) you have to go through a test level that is designed to teach you how to play the new character. Cloud Caravan is Swoop's test level in Book Three: Bunkum Lagoon and is one of the story levels. Get through the entire level without dying to ace and unlock the trophy.

da5.jpg Free Bird (S)

Destroy 25 or more of Newton's robots

This will be done in the side level "Challenge Room: Battle of the Airwaves", which is located in the top left of Bunkum Lagoon. You must have Swoop before you can reach it. Just destroy 25 of the rising antennas by causing Newton to fire his laser at them.

80d.jpg Dinner at 8 (S)

Guide 8 Sacklings to the very end

This will be done in the Challenge Room: Guess Who's Coming To Dinner? level. Go to Book I: Manglewood adventure crater, then enter the Manglewood Swamp hub level. From within here you will find the entrance to the Challenge Room: Guess Who's Coming To Dinner? level in the bottom right of Manglewood Swamp. The door has a Ketchup and Mustard bottle on it. If you have already entered this level at least once, you can enter it from the adventure map instead of having to get to it through the hub level. In this level, regardless of how many players you are playing with, there will be 8 Sacklings in total and they will be divided between the players. You must guide all 8 through the level. This is much easier in multiplayer if there is no lag, but if the lag is bad it will be easier solo. As you move they may become separated, but by walking into a wall you will all line up again.

The level moves right, then left, then right. Sometimes this can be frustrating near the end at the start of the last stretch of the level where you move right a 2nd time, as the level will intentionally separate you into 2 groups again but this time with no wall to line up, thus forcing you to play 2 groups at once. Sometimes one Sackbot will run faster than the others. My advice is to walk very slowly towards the gap to the right. Walking fast or running has a higher chance of causing the Sackbots to move out of sync more than walking. You don't want to get a running start to jump them. Only a very slight brief run should be enough momentum to jump the gaps, then walk slowly towards the next gap and repeat. After this part you will have a wall to line up again. Make it to the end with all 8 alive and the trophy will unlock. You only need 6 to clear the level, but all 8 for the trophy.

f7f.jpg Wonderplane Wanderer (B)

Discover the TEAM PICKS portal in the Ziggurat

This will be located in the Ziggurat Grand Hall, which is the level hub of Book Two: The Ziggurat of the story adventures. You will first need to be playing as Sackboy and have the Hook Hat powerup. You will get the Hook Hat powerup from the Go Loco level, which is located in the top portion of Ziggurat Grand Hall. To the left of the Go Loco level you will see a red hook rail. Ride this to the end and you will be dropped off next to another hook rail. Ride this to the end and it will drop you into the TEAM PICKS portal room where the trophy should then unlock. You do not need to be online for the trophy to unlock, even though TEAM PICK levels are online. The portal will simply be blank where a TEAM PICK level would be if playing online. You are not required to enter the TEAM PICK level.

e4c.jpg Don't go alone... (G)

Complete all the Adventure levels with another Sack Thing

For this trophy you simply need to clear all 20 Adventure levels from every Adventure in the game's story with at least one other player. You can check whether or not you've done a level in multi by highlighting a level on the map and pressing :square: to show level info, then going to Scoreboards on right side and pressing :cross:, then pressing :triangle: and setting the two filter options to the appropriate options. If your name shows up at the very top of a multiplayer list with a score here then you've done it multiplayer. It does not have to be the same player for each level. This only counts the main levels of the game. Optional side levels are not required. You can do this online, or in offline local multiplayer. Keep in mind that only the host will get the trophy. You can also do this solo with 2 controllers. If doing solo with multiple controllers, it has been confirmed that you can play up near the end of level with 1 controller before turning on the extra controller. You have to at least spawn the extra player before finishing the level, which requires a checkpoint to do so. So make sure you do this at or prior to the last checkpoint. It should also be noted that when someone joins or you turn on another controller, your score becomes a multiplayer score even if they leave or you turn off controller, and if you finish it will show you cleared it in multiplayer even if you didn't. But even though the game says you did, it won't count as a multiplayer clear for the trophy unless the other player is active when you finish the level. They don't have to be alive, but they have to be in your game. Joining and leaving won't count. So if you finish the game in multiplayer and notice that all levels show a multiplayer score but trophy did not pop, you more than likely had someone join and leave somewhere, or turned on a controller and turned it off. You must clear the following levels:

Prologue

  • Introduction
  • Needlepoint Peaks
  • Newton's Airship
  • Stitchem Manor
  • Tinpot Towers

Book One: Manglewood

  • High Stakes Heist
  • Deep Space Drive-In
  • Shake, Rattle, and Roll
  • Crumbling Crypts
  • Light, Camera, Traction!

Book Two: The Ziggurat

  • Furry Soles, Hot Coals
  • Flip-Flopped Folios
  • Go Loco
  • Tutu Tango
  • On the Links of Disaster

Book Three: Bunkum Lagoon

  • Belly of the Beast
  • Masque Maker's Tower
  • Cloud Caravan
  • The Great Escape
  • Even Bosses Wear Hats Sometimes...

78d.jpg Ace Adventurer (G)

Ace all the Adventure levels

You must clear 19 of the 20 main levels of the game without dying to get an ace for each level. Even though the Introduction level is one of the main levels of the game, it is not counted since you cannot die in the Introduction level so you will already have an ace for it. Optional side levels are not required regardless of whether or not you can die in them. Levels you have aced will have a gold spade underneath them on the maps. You must ace the following levels:

Prologue

  • Needlepoint Peaks (cannot ace until you get the Boost Boots powerup later in story)
  • Newton's Airship
  • Stitchem Manor
  • Tinpot Towers

Book One: Manglewood

  • High Stakes Heist
  • Deep Space Drive-In
  • Shake, Rattle, and Roll
  • Crumbling Crypts
  • Light, Camera, Traction!

Book Two: The Ziggurat

  • Furry Soles, Hot Coals
  • Flip-Flopped Folios
  • Go Loco
  • Tutu Tango
  • On the Links of Disaster

Book Three: Bunkum Lagoon

  • Belly of the Beast
  • Masque Maker's Tower
  • Cloud Caravan
  • The Great Escape
  • Even Bosses Wear Hats Sometimes...

da0.jpg A guy called Quest (G)

Complete all the Quests in LittleBigPlanet™3 Adventure Mode

There are 15 Quests in the game. Some will be given to you automatically, while others you have to find. When you find someone with a gold trophy with green background above their head, this is a new quest. Approach them and press :triangle: to accept quest. You can bring up your Organizertron by holding :triangle: to see which quests you are currently doing, and which ones you've completed. Quests marked with a star next to them are the main story quests. The others are optional side quests. All are required for the trophy. Some require multiplayer but can all be done solo with 4 controllers, which I have marked below in parenthesis following the quest name. Quopi has created a supplemental guide for the game's quests that can be found here if you need it: LittleBigPlanet 3 Quest Guide

NOTE: If you run into the Organizertron bug where even though you've completed all quests the trophy won't unlock, or the Organizertron shows certain completed quests as not being complete, instead of deleting save to start game over you can use the alternate method in the video below the solo Race to the Stars video to complete all quests. If you do not like using illegitimate means to gain trophies I recommend against using it. As of patch 1.05 this workaround no longer works IF you have installed the patch. See below for info on how the exploit can still be used even if you already installed the patch.

*credit to tenike1 for bringing the exploit to my attention*

USING EXPLOIT POST PATCH 1.05: The creator of the exploit's video has mentioned a workaround so that the exploit can still be used beyond Patch 1.05. NOTE: Someone has reported this not working on the digital version of the game, so the digital version might be pre-patched.

Dirty Danzo said:
So after a few recent comments on my video and some testing on my end, as of patch 1.05 they have made it to where you can not access the adventure level edit screen to get the A Guy Called Quest trophy.

I have found a workaround but its a pain in the ass, you have to delete the game and reinstall it, and play it prepatch. You absolutely have to back up all of your save data to a USB drive before doing so though, because the game realises your save is from a more recent version and deletes your data if you proceed.

So its still possible, but a little more time consuming and more of a headache. Dont know if you want to remove it from the guide or edit some information on it. Its up to you, figured Id give you the heads up though.

I have added a note in the beginning of my video explaining how to make it work still if anyone still wants to make an attempt at it though.

*credit to Dirty Danzo for bringing this to my attention*

WARNING ABOUT EXPLOIT: One member has mentioned that when they tried using the "all quests in 6 minutes" exploit before doing the quest related trophies, the entrance gates to the quest levels did not spawn therefor locking them out of the levels. This lockout is permanent without deleting save and starting new game. This prevented them from getting the 3 specific quest related trophies, The best laid plans... (B), Free Bird (S), Dinner at 8 (S). This would also prevent getting prize bubbles in the levels. Many others never had this issue even doing exploit before the quest related trophies. This means there's a chance this may or may not occur. If you are only playing the game for trophies and do not care about things like prize bubbles, you can use the exploit on every quest except the four related to the 3 trophies above, then do the exploit for the other quests after getting the trophies for them. If you do care about prize bubbles and stuff, I recommend backing up your save before doing exploit, then after doing the exploit and getting the trophy for A guy called Quest (G) just delete the save data from your system and download the backup save you made.

Revive all the Heroes of Legend

Story related, cannot be missed.

After OddSock, Toggle, and Swoop have joined you, you will get this trophy. You will release one character in each adventure of the story starting from Book One. This will unlock in Book Three: Bunkum Lagoon after you release the last character.

Ace Popit Academy Term 1

You must complete each of the Popit Academy Term 1 levels without dying to get an ace for that level. If you die, you can press :start: (PS3) or :options: (PS4) and choose Replay to replay the level until you ace it. The trophy will unlock after getting an ace in each level. See Graduation Day for more info.

You must complete each of the Popit Academy Term 2 levels without dying to get an ace for that level. If you die, you can press :start: (PS3) or :options: (PS4) and choose Replay to replay the level until you ace it. The trophy will unlock after getting an ace in each level. See Graduation Day for more info.

Complete both Terms of the Popit Academy

From your pod computer, select Play, then select Popit Puzzles. At the start you can only choose the Popit Academy Term 1 adventure. Choose it and complete all 7 levels to unlock Hard Tryer. These levels are like bringing create mode into play mode thanks to the Popit Powerup. These are very easy and will teach you about various aspects of create mode but in a fun active way. Once you complete Popit Academy Term 1 you will unlock Popit Academy Turn 2 with 7 more levels to do. Complete those for the Graduate trophy.

Play the entirety of any Popit Puzzle whilst wearing a Newton costume

You will get the Newton Costume for completing the final story level of the game. Once you have this go to your pod computer, select Play, then select Popit Puzzles. Choose any level. Once inside, the trophy will unlock. You don't actually have to play through the level like the trophy description suggests, but then again I had already cleared the level I chose before getting the Newton Costume. I'm not sure if that makes a difference for why mine unlocked without needing to play through it. If you didn't already change into the costume before entering, you can do it inside the level.

Max out the thermo in Create Mode

Go to Create Mode via your Moon. Now open your Popit and go to the Goodies Bag. Press :r1: or :l1: to switch categories. Under each category will be various sub-categories. Go to Collected Objects category. Each time you place an object or other things in create, they will take up a certain amount of thermo, which you can see by how much pink fills up the thermo on left side of screen after selecting and placing objects. You don't have to place it to see how much that particular item will add to the thermo. Collected objects fill up the thermo faster than other things. Some good objects for this that you can get early in the game's story include Water Stop Pipe (under Pipes and Tubes sub-category) and Stack of Plates (under Scenic category). I found Stack of Plates to be best, though that's only out of objects I tried when I was still very early in the game's story.

Once you find an object to place, place multiple copies of it, then go back to the Popit menu and select your Popit Cursor. Once your cursor is out, you can drag an outline around objects by holding :cross: while moving the cursor as you normally would with the left stick. Once the objects are highlighted you can let go of :cross: and now you can move all of the highlighted objected together as one. Now press :l3: to make a copy of the group of objects and from here you can keep placing copies without having to do all of that each time, unless you back out with :circle:. You may then back out and re-highlight even more objects and copy and place those, thus filling up the thermo fairly quickly.

Dunk a sackbot in water... It's okay, really

Go to Create Mode via your Moon. Make sure Advanced Create Mode is on by pressing :start: (PS3)/:options: (PS4), then go down to Settings, then go down to PROFILE. Make sure Advanced Create Mode has a check next to it, then exit the menu. Make sure the game is paused by pressing . It will be paused by default if you entered a new empty crater on the Moon. Pause will make sure everything stays in place while we set this up. Open your Popit and go to Global Stuff. Press :r1: or :l1: to go to the Gameplay Controls category then go down to the Water sub-category. Raise the water level by pressing :right:, it does not need to be a whole lot. Now return to the Popit menu and go to the Tools Bag. Press :r1: or :l1: to go to the Creatures and Characters category. Go down to the Sackbots sub-category and place a Sackbot above the water. Now back out and using your Popit Cursor, press :square: over the Sackbot to tweak its settings. Go down to the A.I Tweaks, there will be a setting at the top right with an image of water that says Can Swim: Yes or No depending on the setting. It is set to No by default so change it to Yes. Now back all the way out of your Popit and unpause the game by pressing  on the D-Pad so the Sackbot falls in the water, and the trophy should unlock.

Use a power up from LittleBigPlanet™2

You do not need to have or had LBP 2 at any point in the past to get this trophy as powerups from LBP 2 are available in LBP 3 by default. Go to create mode via your Moon then open your Popit menu and go to the Tools Bag. Press :r1: or :l1: to go to the Creatures and Characters category. You should see the Powerups sub-category near the top. Under Powerups, choose and place a Grappling Hook, Grabinator, or Creatinator and the trophy should unlock. You don't even have to actually use it, just place it.

Create a level that uses ALL 16 layers

Go to Create Mode via your Moon. Open your Popit menu and go to your Goodies Bag. Choose any material and shape. Now press :r1: to change how many layers thick the material is. Do this until it can't get any thicker. The trophy will unlock after all 16 thick layers have an object filling them, or anything else that fits in thick layers. You cannot do this with logic tools from the Tools Bag since they are attached to objects and materials, rather than being objects themselves.

Place a Hook Hat in your level

Go to Create Mode via your Moon. Open your Popit menu and go to the Tools Bag. Now press :r1: or :l1: until you are in the Creatures and Characters category, you will now see the Powerups sub-category so select the Hook Hat and place it then the trophy should unlock.

Create a slide

Go to Create Mode via your Moon. Open your Popit menu and go to the Tools Bag. Now press :r1: or :l1: until you are in the Gameplay category. You should see the Getting Around sub-category, select the Slide and place it then the trophy should unlock.

Use the Gameplay Tweaker to become invincible... And prove it!

I have broken this down into Steps so the text is not all jumbled together. From your pod computer go to Me, then My Moon, then enter create mode via a crater on your Moon. Once in create mode make sure Advanced Create Mode is on by pressing :start: (PS3)/ :options: (PS4), then go down to Settings, then go down to PROFILE. Make sure Advanced Create Mode has a check next to it, then exit the menu.

Step 1: Place some spikes.

  • Open your Popit menu and go to the Tools Bag. Press :r1: or :l1: until you are on the Gameplay category. Go down to the Dangerous sub-category and select the Large Spikes. Place it near the floor of the create grid.

Step 2: Gameplay Tweaker

  • Now go to the Tools Bag in your Popit and press :r1: or :l1: until you are on the Creatures and Characters category then go down to the Creature Tweakers sub-category and select the Gameplay Tweaker, now press :square: to tweak its settings. After doing that, go down to Affects and change it to Affects: All. Now go down to Vulnerability and you will see 8 ways to die. Change Spike from Yes to No. Now press :circle:, then place the Gameplay Tweaker on the spikes.

Step 3: The Proof

  • Now back out of your Popit and make sure the game is unpaused, pressing  on the D-Pad will pause/unpause it, now go and jump on the spikes. You won't die and the trophy should unlock.

This video will show you how to get all 7 of the create mode trophies listed above in under 5 minutes. Video says 9, but the first 2 trophies in the video I have listed under Pod Trophies since they can be done from your pod interface without entering Create Mode.

The following sources were a big help on my journey creating this roadmap and guide. If I am forgetting anyone, I apologize.

honda hoe for helping me test various things with the trophies.

CaptainSellers for providing valuable information for certain trophies, which helped reduce the amount of time the Guide would of taken otherwise.

PS4Trophies (Wozamil here on playstationtrophies.org) for his helpful videos that provide a visual aid to my written descriptions, and by providing a slightly different version of my original description for getting the I. AM. INVINCIBLE! trophy, making it slightly more streamlined by reducing a Step.

prozendaal for work on the amazing banner and header images.

I finally got this finished after battling numerous bugs, lag, and my internet going out. I hope you guys find it useful :).

If there are any errors feel free to let me know. I'm planning on having each of the section headers for Roadmap, Trophy Guide, and Special Thanks be an image in the game's default orange font with white borders as soon as I can find someone to do. I want this guide to be real nice, plus there will be some changes after the Guide Team has gone over it.

Great guide, well done :D

honestly I think the most painful trophy is the quest trophy thanks to that huge pain in the rear Race to the Stars Quest, this would be possible myself it weren't for that acursed time limit :p

The online issues don't exactly make this easy either.

Great job! The game has been released yet (in Greece) and you have already written a fully guide!!! Many many thanks!

Many thanks! ;)

Great work on the guide :)

Just wanted to add... Don't know if the game is just buggy for me.. But even tho u can play the pop it academy levels online, only the host gets the respective trophies

Since the Popit Academy trophies do not require multiplayer I don't think that info will be needed.

Thank you. :) Speaking of that trophy I saw your Co-op Boosting request, but since you were from across the pond it would not work out well us grouping because the lag will be far worse than if playing with someone from some country, and multiplayer lag is already bad in this game and even worse the more players.

Wasn't expecting you do a guide for this type of game. Good work. ;)

Really!? My favorite games happen to be rated E or T. I like cute games and non-violent games, and LBP is my favorite game series of all time in my 24 years of gaming. Most of those games don't get as much notice due to people thinking they are kids games. I miss the old days before games were about guns and violence. And thankies! :)

Yeah shame, I've managed to connect to plenty of players and its run fine, just not many playing this level, and when I have connected we failed the time limit and other players just rage quit if they die...

Ah well I'll keep trying with randoms I guess until the right boosting opportunity crops up.

You keep mentioning bugs and lag. Is the game THAT riddled with them? Do they affect your ability to get the trophies quickly?

Most of the bugs occur in multiplayer, such as one that automatically kicks players from the game and you have to start up game again. It does slow down trophy progress for the Don't go alone... trophy.

I. AM. INVINCIBLE! is slightly wrong. You don't need to change to play mode, you just need to change the settings and then jump on it. Also, you need to select "Affects All" and you only need to change the spike death to no and not all 8 of them.

I don't know why, but it didn't work when I was in an adventure create level. I recorded it, but I just decided not to upload it to YouTube, maybe I should.
