From what I've seen there aren't any guides in English yet. Google translating the JP one is the best you can do for now.

Also since you said you were new to this type of game, I assume you didn't play the first one yet?

Keep in mind this is a sequel, you can play it by itself, but it's way more enjoyable if you played the first as well. :)

It's going for cheap on PSN at the moment, around £18.99 (£17.99 if you have PS Plus).

And in all honesty with the exception of maybe a difficult to comprehend moments as well as the miscellaneous ones, I really fail to see any possible need for a guide, the game is pretty straight-forward and not hard as long as you use your noodle. Plus if you look around the forum there's plenty of answer/links to places with answers around.

Reading the extra text is a part of experience, though...

Yes, reading the extra text IN the game is part of the experience. Which is why I don't want to read through a wall of text in a guide to figure out what I need to click on to advance.

What I mean is this:

Check paper on desk

Check clock

Check windows (left)

Leave classroom

From Stinper's Goiodbye Dispair guide

Prologue [310]

Welcome to Dangan Island!

Panic at the Heart-Throbbing School Trip!?

===============================================================================

When you have control, examine your surroundings (press the triangle button to

enter observation mode) and talk to the person in front of you.

Leave and run left past the bridge to the Central Island and enter the Ranch

- Usami Corral

Here you'll see Usami pull off some more neat tricks and meet two fellow

classmates, Hiyoko Saionji (Ultimate Traditional Dancer) and Akane Owari

(Ultimate Gymnast ). Talk to them and get your first hope shards from each of

them.

I don't wanna read the descriptions of what I'm about to see before I see it, and I don't need the commentary either. Just a simple list of what I need to do that doesn't spoil anything that's gonna happen when I do it. That's all these point and click type games need for a guide imo.
