This took me 35 hours to plat. I had all the missions and when to play them planned out which allowed me 5 days of nothing to do except soul seed farming.

Also one of the main reasons I managed to do this much quicker is that for the 30 accessory upgrades you don't have to play nearly 2 full playthroughs.

It is much quicker to play one full playthrough getting all accessories then for your second get the first 15 accessories which can be gotten in an hour and then do a 3rd playthrough getting those same 15 accessories so you only need an extra 2 hours at the very least

platinum on 3/22/2014 . I am not a speed player. 4 weeks 2 days as per trophy times 1st to last.

Took me 118h51m49s on NG+ Day 6 1:08am[game time] (Feb 20 start date)

My last trophy the Expert Craftsman (last item was the Twist Headband which I thought I had picked up but had not) It was not listed on the Trophy Guide section for some reason, unless it is a translation error on the item name.

Took me 75 hours to do two playthroughs on easy completing absolutely everything possible the first time (all quests and prayers, killing all last ones except the one you need 65000 kills of before the ultimate lair) and the same again minus the last ones second time round. So if you sped through you could easily do it in half that time.

I took a different approach than others. For me, I like getting the most out of the game (maximize my $gamecost/hours of play) plus going into battles STRONG.

It took me.... (wait for it).... (wait for it)...

... 299 HOURS to get the plat!

But this has been so much fun!

I played this game the way I think the developers intended. I played all the way through to end of Game three times, including all the Missions, Side Missions, Side Quests, all LAST ONES all three times.

1) EASY Mode

2) HARD Mode (to collect highest level drops)

3) EASY Mode

Here's what I did and why I was able to enjoy it.

[spoiler=Iconclast]

I did NOT go after Aeronite or Ereshkigal until the third playthrough. This way, I would have fully upgraded weapons, garbs, cheaper EP costs, and the two enemies would have much lower HP. For this playthrough, I was focused on completing the third level Accessories and adding to the stats by completing all quests/prayers. Hence, at the start of this third playthrough, I only had these 2 super enemies left to defeat for trophies to get the plat.

I also waited until third playthrough to go after Noel Kreiss+ (Day 8), Snow Villers+ (Day 8), Parandus (Day 8), Bhunivelze+ (Final Day), and I will go after Snow Villiers++ (Day 10) in a later 4th playthrough when I feel like it.

So, after defeating Aeronite, I was facing Ereshkigal with the following extra stats (as shown through the Quest Menu):

Power from saved souls:

Maximum HP ... +15340

Strength ......... +1533

Magic ............. +1529

Maximum ATB ...... + 40

EP Max Value ......... + 4

Recovery Items ...... +6

Both of these "super enemies" were a "piece of cake" - especially using Soldier of Peace garb, maxed Heaven's Cloud, turning Heavy Slash into Artemis' Arrows, and 21,340 HP. The other two were the 100% resistor garbs of Quiet Guardian (resist Magic) and Cyber Jumpsuit (resist Physical), using Chaos's Revenge and Carnelian Choir - both with a whopping 29,440 HP!

Seriously, I can not emphasize enough that

this is a game that is intended

to be played through

more than once.

Do it and enjoy!

Plus, at a $gamecost of $20 for getting 300 hours pf play, this equals about spending $1 for every 15 hours!
