Introduction

There are 242 collectibles to find in Murdered: Soul Suspect. There are 9 sets of artifacts, and 8 sets of artifacts for all the ghost stories. You will earn pretty much the entire trophy list from collecting all 242 of them. One thing you need to keep in mind, some of the locations are missable! The museum for example, is a one time visit and you cannot re enter it. When you reach the judgement house case, don't go any further on until you have all the collectibles. If you miss any collectibles, you apparently only need to overwrite your game with a new game and pick the ones you missed up again, others are saying this doesn't work though. Just be very careful not to miss anything in the museum, or enter the judgement house before having every other collectible and you'll be fine. You can re enter every location in the game again except the museum. Here's a breakdown of collectibles per area:

  • Apartments - 14
  • Church - 20
  • Police Department - 37
  • Cemetery - 28
  • Asylum - 25
  • Museum - 31
  • Church Revisited - 2
  • Town - 61
  • Judgement House - 24

Total - 242

If you missed something, what you want to do is check this and this post over on xboxachievements.com. Compare that list, to your list and see what you are missing. Once you have found what you are missing, simply find the video associated with it and see what number it is from the text above theembedded video. Skip to that number in the video and you have your location.

Side Cases

Other than the collectibles, there are 4 side quests to complete for the platinum. None of them are missable and can be completed at any time. Brad, Katy and Julie can all be found in Salem. While Ingrid is found in the first floor of the apartments. If you get stuck on a case, here is a visual reference for each of them.

Looks like a great guide. Can someone who's played the game tell me how much this will help me with the actual problem solving? I assume since this is a detective game, you're required to find clues to progress and I was hoping this guide would help with that aspect as well. I'd prefer not to have to use this guide to find the collectibles and also have a story walkthrough guide open. I'd just like to rent this game, finish it in a day or two, and return it if possible.

Believe me, there is no need for a walkthrough of this game other than finding the collectibles.

If you use this guide to grab all the collectibles, you should be able to finish this game within a few hours. The investigation you do in this game are extremely simple and you have unlimited tries to figure out what happened

I completely agree. This is an extremely awesome guide, and I had absolutely no problem getting any of the collectibles. Any time I ran into an area with demons or hit a story block, I would just pause it, and pick it back up. The investigations are all right in front of you, and as quoted, just keep trying if you get it wrong.

Everything except:

  • 35/39 Info About My Killer
  • 34/38 Julia's Thoughts
  • 5/6 Profiler's Memories
  • 22/25 Salem's History
  • 8/9 Witch Trials History
  • The Judgement House specific collectibles

OK, so how many of these are in each level?

And with the the ghostly graffitis, the map shows one being in the church on the left side of the stage/pulpit, and I walked around there for ages, and didn't see it. Does the "interactive" map show things for both visits to the church on the same map? And, since I've been reading, and I know you revisit the church, are the collectables different then, than the first time?

If they are, what happens to the things you might have missed the first time through?

The graffiti is actually in the laundry room in the mental hospital , and the only new stuff on second church visit is investigating in the court yard, second floor refectory, and attic and collectibles in the second gloom refectory which u couldn't reach before

The map is the biggest piece of shit I have seen, more than just that is missing or in the wrong place. In the end I had to find most of them myself. If you miss any, you can come back and pick it up provided it's; not in the museum, you haven't completed judgement house.

Guide is complete! I'll add time links and such when SE fix the map, as I am unsure of a few of the numbers for the level specific collectibles.

Thanks for this guide, i'll be using this when i eventually take the game out of the packaging lol
