Glitched trophies: 0 Does difficulty affect trophies?: No difficulty selection Do cheat codes disable trophies?: No cheats Introduction: A new type of creature has appeared in the Invizimal world known only as the Steel Invizimal. These creatures are causing havoc and look set to destroy everything! Help Hiro use the powers of the Invizimals to save their world and our own. http://i.imgur.com/Yydm2sa.png Step 1: Start a new game and play through it, collecting all Sparks, Z-Sparks, Statues, Seeds and Optional Invizimal forms This is a pretty straightforward game involving platforming and the occasional simple puzzle, you'll be able to transform into a variety of different Invizimals each with their own skills that you'll need to use to get through the game. There are many enemies that you'll have to face, but they shouldn't pose any problem. Most of the trophies in this game are story-based, meaning that you'll get the vast majority just from playing the game normally. As you play you'll notice there are a lot of collectibles to be found here, luckily the vast majority of them are nice and easy to find. Z-Sparks and Sparks can be found lying around or in containers that you get introduced to early on in the tutorial stages. Below in the trophy descriptions are the locations of the Statues, Seeds and optional Invizimals that you'll need to collect so use them if necessary. For Z-Sparks and Sparks there are so many that to write a guide for it would be a bit OTT. Just make sure to check every nook and cranny you can find, and be wary that with the fixed camera sometimes they can be hidden just out of sight so try to make sure you're not missing anything before moving on. If you press when in a level it'll bring up the level select menu, here you can see if you're missing any of the collectibles from any of the levels. There is one technically missable trophy, Perfect! For this you need to perfectly hit every button within the time limit during an Invizimal QTE challenge. There are only 7 of these in the game and if you don't manage it then you'll need to restart to get it. Luckily they're very simple so you shouldn't have much trouble. In this step you will earn: Finding Your Feet King of the Jungle Friend of the Fire Dragon Islands in the Sky Robot Wars Friend of the Rock Dragon Slimy Mudhole Spelunker Friend of the Desert Dragon Not so fast! Not Quite A Jaguar... Strong Like Bull A Perfect Eating Machine Angry Panda Samurai Hog I vant to drink your blood! Top Cat Blink and You'll Miss Him Any Old Iron Appetite For Destruction Spark Centurion Spark Legionnaire Sparkus Maximus Z-Spark Collector Z-Spark Expert Z-Spark Master Obtainer of Rare Antiquities Touched by Darkness Master of Unlocking Perfect! Mountaineer Falling With Style Beast Master Industrial Revolution He's As Cold As Ice Day of the Uberjackal Laughin' Top Dog Totem Gesture Release The Kraken!!! Abominable! Wart Could Go Wrong? Step 2: Clean Up After completing the story you should have almost every trophy. If you missed any of the collectibles or need to replay a level for A Feeling of deja vu, then do so. Whilst you're there, make sure to upgrade all your Invizimals if you haven't done so already. The only trophy I didn't get through natural play and cleaning up collectibles was Wet Work, so go back to Tigershark Bayou using the level select function and swim around there for a bit until it pops. In this step you will earn: Full Upgrade! Maximum Evolution! Wet work A feeling of déjà vu Savior of The Lost Kingdom Special Thanks: Vyrastas - For the Trophy Guide Template. You won't get this trophy until Coral Caverns when you defeat the robot with a giant fan in it's chest. You will have defeated every other type of enemy along the course of the game. http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/2357/A3F.jpg Full Upgrade! Fully upgrade your first Invizimal To upgrade an Invizimal you simply open the Invizimal selection menu with or , then move to the Invizimal you wish to upgrade and press . You spend Z Sparks to upgrade, and the first Invizimal you can upgrade is Ocelotl. To fully upgrade an Invizimal costs 600 Z Sparks so the earliest you can get this is in the second level. http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/2357/E4A.jpg Maximum Evolution! Purchase all upgrades You won't unlock all available Invizimals until the level The Flooded Tunnels when you unlock Toxitoad. Whilst there are 18 Invizimal forms altogether, only 17 need to be upgraded for this trophy (Kraken does not have any upgrades). To upgrade an Invizimal press or to bring up the character select menu. Then go to the Invizimal you wish to upgrade and press (there are two forms for each Invizimal slot, so press to toggle between them). In this menu you can purchase the upgrades for your form, these include 3 heavy attacks, and 3 power attacks costing in total 600 Z Sparks. So the total cost to upgrade all Invizimals is 10,200 Z Sparks, but if you've been collecting all of the sparks as you go you should be able to get this immediately after unlocking Toxitoad. Xander45
http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/2357/D38.jpg Spark Centurion Collect 100 Sparks If you're collecting them all as you play you should get this in the Temple Bridge level just after the yellow grapple point tutorial. http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/2357/215.jpg Spark Legionnaire Collect 1000 Sparks If you've been collecting all of them as you play, this will unlock during the Flight to the Swamp level. http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/2357/338.jpg Sparkus Maximus Collect all 2000 Sparks Sparks are blue orbs that are mainly contained with red barrels that need to be smashed by your Invizimals. You'll find these barrels all around the level so make sure to check every nook and cranny, with the fixed camera it can be easy to miss some so you may need to replay a couple of levels and double check. You can keep track of how many there are in each level using the level select menu (press when in a level), and whatever items you collected in your first run through a level will not be present the next time. This makes it a bit easier to spot them if you missed them first time round. If you collect them all as you playthrough the game this will pop during the final cutscenes after beating Max. http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/2357/F12.jpg Z-Spark Collector Collect 100 Z-sparks You should get this around halfway through the first level. If you've been collecting them all as you go it should pop not long after you get the tutorial on upgrading your powers. http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/2357/95A.jpg Z-Spark Expert Collect 6,500 Z-sparks If you've been collecting them all as you play then this will unlock during the Flight to the Swamp level. http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/2357/CF6.jpg Z-Spark Master Collect all 13,000 Z-sparks Z Sparks are small yellow orbs with a red Z in the centre. They can be found lying around the level and also inside cylindrical orange pots and rectangular orange slabs. Because of the fixed camera it can be quite easy to miss a few of these throughout the levels so make sure to thoroughly check the levels as you go. You can see how many you need/have in each level by using the level select (press when in a level) so you can easily go back through the levels if you need to. Also be careful in the underwater sections, some of the individual orbs in these can be hard to see. If you collect all of them as you play through the game this trophy will pop during the cutscenes after defeating Max. This is a very commonly missed spark so keep your eyes out for it: [ame] [/ame] http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/2357/131.jpg Obtainer of Rare Antiquities Collect all Pup Idols There are floating golden statues within many of the levels that you can collect. Get 4 of the same creature and you unlock them to be able to use in the Battle Arena (you can access this through the main menu). You can see if there's a statue in a level by pressing to bring up the level select screen. Note that these aren't the actual pups names, but what the statues look like to make it easier! Snake 1. First temple area - when you climb on vines, easily spotted. 2. Temple Bridge - Just after entering the area head up, behind a plant to the right of the tree. 3. The Outer Temple - In the last area where you have to climb up some vines on the right, instead go past those to the top of the screen where there is a hole on the right marked by some sparkles. Go through the hole and the statue is in plain sight. 4. The Temple Approach - About halfway in the level you will reach a dynamo switch that you are told can go either way. Make it take you up a floor and it's right infront of you. Gorilla 1. Tigershark's Bayou - After obtaining Tigershark's form enter the pool of water infront of you, hidden by a broken piece of pillar on the right is the statue. 2. Jungle Falls - After you've followed the pipe and cleaned the pool, jump in and dive under to find it in plain sight. 3. The Jungle Sinkhole - After you've made your way up to the gear on the right you have to turn, jump down from that platform and see a switch on the ground with a door in the distance. The switch starts a timer that opens the door, complete the small platforming section and claim your prize at the end. 4. The Great Falls - At the start you will be able to push some boxes to reach a higher platform. Go up here and around to a waterfall that you can see Z sparks behind, jump in to this room to find the statue. Goat 1. Chupacabra's Hunting Grounds - Late on in the level you will climb up a mesh wall and reach a crossroads. Go left and find a launch pad, float over to the next platform and jump up to reach the statue. 2. Rocky Point - Late on in the level there will be a climbing section you'll need to rebuild using Zaphyra's powers. To the left of this is a small area where you can find the statue at the back of. 3. Crystal Heights - This is inside the vault door that you'll see directly infront of you as you play through the level. 4. The Ancient Repository - As you continue through the level you'll reach a teleporter, use it and collect all the Sparks and Z-Sparks then come back and use your blink power to move through the gate to the left of it. Carry over some platforms and then start to shimmy across the platforms against the wall in human form. Near the end of this section you'll see a platform above you, jump up and follow this path to a platform containing the statue. Wasp 1.The Swamp of Bones - After a chain pad section and right next to the vault door you'll find this statue. 2. Mushroom Marsh - You'll reach a cruved metallic area with a climbable wall later on in the level, to the left of the wall you'll see the statue. 3. Banyan Ruins - You'll reach a dynamo that you're told controls a crane, instead of using it climb up the crane and run to the end of it to find a platform containing another dynamo and the statue. 4. The Refinery - Partway through the level you will see a group of 3 blocks that you can drag out from a hole in the wall. Behind these blocks is the statue. Scorpion 1. The Steel Prison - Near the end of the level you will reach a large metal floored area, just after this is a grapple shot point straight ahead and a little turn off to your right. Go right to find the statue. 2. The Caves of Kraken - In the third swimming section next to a breakable wall, hard to miss. 3. The Lost Coast - This will be right in the middle of your path not too far into the level. 4. Coral Caverns - Partway through the level will be a thin pathway after a group of enemies with a large blue tube to your left, with a floating platform with the statue on just on the other side. Rhino 1. Steel Temple - After you get past the section where you need to hide in holes underneath lasers you'll come to an area with a large door. To the left of the steps up to the door is the statue. 2. The Flooded Tunnels - When you reach the swimming section of the level, resurface a short way in to see the statue ahead of you. 3. The Temple Ascent - When you reach the area of the level (it's a large metal structure with dynamo machines on either side and a couple of large doors ahead of you) go back down the climbing mesh you used to get up here and walk towards the screen. You'll fall onto a small platform containing the statue. 4. The Steel Heart of Darkness - When you reach the second bridge that you can turn using a dynamo, move it and then run to the side that has a large red door. To the left of this door is a moving platform, jump on it and it will take you to the statue. http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/2357/A89.jpg Touched by Darkness Collect all Dark Seeds Within several of the levels are Dark Seeds (that look like floating blue seeds) for you to find. You can see whether there is a seed in the level, and if you've collected it, by opening the level select menu (press when in a level). Below is a list of the levels, and the locations within them, that you can find these seeds. 1. Outer Temple - In the first area on a platform to the right just above the Dynamo switch. 2. Tigershark's Bayou - At the start of the level is a pool of water where you are warned about a mine. Use Tigersharks form to swim under the mine to the back of this area, then resurface to find the Seed. 3. Crystal Heights - Once you get past the conveyor belt section go right to a small enclosed platform past a laser door. The seed will be in plain sight. 4. The Refinery - After a long climbing section head down from where you land to reach a door that you can use your blink skill to get through. In here is the seed. 5. The Caves of Kraken - After the swimming section where you break down some barriers you'll come to an area with a bridge infront of you with arches over it. Go left here to find a small area with a spot you can crawl through in human form. The seed is in this small cave. 6. The Temple Ascent - When you reach the area with the two gears, defeat all the enemies and then look in the bottom left corner of the area for a small gap in the wall you can crawl through to reach the seed. Xander45
http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/2357/974.jpg Master of Unlocking Unlock All Vault Doors Every non-flying level contains a grey door with a red triangle on it that requires 100 Z-Sparks to open. You get a short tutorial on them in the first level so you'll know what they look like. Make sure to search well to find them as they contain lots of Sparks and Z-Sparks, you'll know if you've got the one for the level if you've managed to collect everything shown on the level select screen. http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/2357/DE4.jpg Perfect! Complete an Invizimal Challenge without making a mistake *Missable* The first chance to get this is when you challenge Minotaur. An Invizimal challenge consists of a series of QTE's, but they're not difficult as you have a long time to see which button you need to press. Complete each QTE correctly and this is yours! This is technically missable as the Invizimal challenges aren't available once you've done them, but you do have several chances to do this throughout the game and because of the amount of time you have to hit the correct button during the QTE's chances are you won't miss out. If you do miss it then start a new game and run through to the level with the Minotaur in to challenge him. http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/2357/9F4.jpg Mountaineer Climb 600m distance This is cumulative. Climbing can only be done on the vines or mesh walls by Ocelotl, and you'll be doing a lot of climbing! I got this in the Jungle Sinkhole level, so it'll come naturally as you play. http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/2357/A37.jpg Wet work Swim 10km This is the only trophy that I had to do a little bit of grinding for because I didn't get it through playing naturally. If you don't either then just replay the level Tigershark's Bayou and swim around for a bit until it pops! http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/2357/8C7.jpg Falling With Style Complete a set of chain pads without making a mistake Partway through Rocky Point is where you will have your first chain pad event. This is triggered by pressing when on the chain pad platform, then you follow the QTE's to complete it. Hit all the QTE's in one chain pad section and this is yours. Again the QTE's are very simple and give you lots of time. http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/2357/BE4.jpg A feeling of déjà vu Revisit a Chapter You can revisit any old chapter at any time by pressing and then going right or left and pressing to select. You will most likely need to go back to some old levels at some point to clean up any Z-Sparks you missed so don't worry about getting this straight away. http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/2357/89B.jpg Beast Master Take flight aboard a dragon You will get this as soon as the level Flight of the Floating Islands begins. http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/2357/03B.jpg Industrial Revolution Defeat Max Black Max Black is the final boss of the game. [spoiler=blackstrat]Firstly he will throw rocks at you and slam his electric whip on the ground. Avoid this until the whip gets stuck, then follow the QTE prompts. Do this twice. After this he will start to spin the whip around so jump over it until a timer starts, when this happens run towards the arms that are holding the machine onto the ground to start a small minigame where you must time your throw to hit the target. Do this three times. Now you will be fighting enemies on top of Max's robot, so deal with them and then you'll have a few QTE's. Afterwards more robots will appear so repeat this sequence 3 to finish the fight. http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/2357/013.jpg He's As Cold As Ice Obtain Icelion's form You'll find Icelion at the end of the level Swamp of Bones. There's no challenge this time, just speak to him to obtain his form. http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/2357/5F7.jpg Day of the Uberjackal Obtain Uberjackal's form This Invizimal can be found in the Banyan Ruins level. When you reach the crane do not use the dynamo to move it, instead climb the crane and run along it to another platform. Use the dynamo here to make a platform raise, jump onto it and get lowered to a tunnel, at the end of which is the Uberjackal. Speak to him to get his form. http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/2357/E4C.jpg Laughin' Obtain Ha Ha Yena's form This Invizimal is found in the vault in the level The Refinery. To find the vault head left at the area where you have to pull a tower of blocks out instead of climbing the wall. Defeat the enemies then speak to him to gain his form and the trophy. http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/2357/DEF.jpg Top Dog Obtain Metalmutt's form You'll bump into Metalmutt early on in The Steel Prison. Simply walk over and speak to him to get his form and the trophy. http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/2357/5B1.jpg Totem Gesture Obtain Shapeshifter's form Shapeshifter is found in the vault in the level The Lost Coast. Obtain Kraken's form The Kraken is found inside the vault in the level The Caves of Kraken. This vault is a bit harder to find, at the start of the level jump into the water to the right and dive. You should see a pipe going into a gap in the wall to your left, enter this and follow it round to the vault. http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/2357/ECE.jpg Abominable! Obtain Yeti's form Yeti can be found in The Steel Temple level, inside the vault. Defeat the enemies then walk over and speak to him to gain his form and the trophy. http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/2357/DEB.jpg Wart Could Go Wrong? Elvick
You sure Z-Spark Master isn't glitched? I've been through, very very very thoroughly, The Flooded Tunes and I can't find ONE z-spark. At all. Anywhere. I run through every possible object, run around everything. Jump. I even run where I know z-sparks were in case it somehow turned invisible or something. Nothing. I swim everywhere possible. Nothing. I have no idea where it could possibly be. So the only thing I can think is that it's glitched. I didn't have this problem with any other level, even the other one where I missed one lone z-spark [the level where you get the shuriken throwing Invizimal, the name escapes me] That spark was right at the start behind a plant so I couldn't see it. But this level, nope. Edited December 8, 2014 by Elvick
Xander45
I've heard nothing about it being glitched and had no issues myself. The only problems I had were some that were hidden in corners where the camera wouldn't turn so you couldn't see behind them. This video might help, I'll try and find more info on a sparks guide if I can find one. [ame] [/ame]

This video might help, I'll try and find more info on a sparks guide if I can find one. I know some can be hidden/out of sight. I didn't have issues finding the other ones like that. But thank you that was the one. Ugh, I swam all over the place and ran all over trying to find that damn z-spark. xD Ugh!

diskdocx
Thank you for the guide. Unfortunately I didn't read the comments until after I got the plat. I too struggled with 499/500 on Flooded Tunnels - missing the same one as Elvick. I think the one referenced in the guide is actually buried in the sand. Even when I finally got it, I didn't actually see it. It might be worth linking that vid right in the guide. In any case, a very helpful guide. danc
Thanks for the guide, nearly finished. I too was missing that one spark from above.
Xander45
I'm glad it helped! I might have to add in that spark to the guide if it's one everyone is missing
TacoNinja
The level you're referring to in regards to the shuriken Invizimal is called The Great Falls. I got the z-spark located behind the plant at the very beginning of the level yet I'm still one shy of 500. I've been through this level a ton of times searching with a fine toothed comb and and can't find it. I'm convinced that it's glitched. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- *UPDATE* Wow, wow, wow. I found it; it was ridiculously hidden inside the vault in such a way that no one would ever know it's there because no camera angle, no matter what you do, will show it. Jesus. Xander45
I'm glad you managed to find it! I know there's a few like that where the camera is just really fighting against you
Lorajet
Just got this game with PS+ and thought I was going to delete it after 15 minutes - but I was wrong. It is addicting! Thanks for the excellent guide and enjoy reading the comments and help. Going back through to clean up all the sparks and pups I didn't locate the first time.... Sora9427
Sooo if i miss Something between the collectible i have to make an entire Run for them or just select the chapter and get the via menu?
cobaltTangerine
You can chapter select in the pause menu. Just click right or left to choose the level. The collectibles you've already gotten will not be there on your next run. So, if you find anything, you know you're making progress I've been through the first two levels twice. I have 497/500 z-sparks on both levels. I'm going to go through them again, but if it is going to be an hour on each level exploring every possible blind spot (due to fixed camera), I don't know if I'll be able to do it. This might be one of those games play for short bits of time. EDIT: Wow, 100% the first two levels (after a few runs) and have been through the third (the Outer Temple I think) 4 times and still missing 5 z-sparks. Without a walkthrough or at least a guide to the easily missable/hidden orbs, I'm staying away from this one. Luke
Weird issue occured on The Temple Ascent for me. I was stuck on 498/500 sparks. Couldn't find the rest. Went back to the level select and when I got to the little area where you find that statue, the collectibles reappeared there. When I got two lone sparks there, the count went DOWN to 460/500. However, the rest of those container things were showing there. This then bumped it up to 500. I would highly recommend copying the save every few levels to USB storage/PS+ for this buggy pos game. LadyGuardian
Thanks for the heads up on the weird counters and backing up saves! I've run into a surprising amount of glitches and it's been frustrating. I'm going to plat this game entirely out of spite. When I'm in a locked down combat area (when the lasers appear) if I hit too many buttons I'll often teleport through the floor and die. Super fun times. Helps to make it a habit to backtrack to an autosave spot after collecting a lot of z-sparks/sparks to save a little on lost time.
