If you have found this guide or any other threads that I maintain useful and are compelled to join this forum as a consequence, please give me a referral upon signing up here! Following this guide should net you: Complete 100% of all Mission Constraints Achieve 100% Synchronization in all Sequences Note: Sequence trophy images are just for show and for markers (to help the Sequences stand out) Glitch Warning: The trophy may not pop once you complete your final memory needed. Just replay a mission (you don't even need to get 100% of the constraints) and the trophy should pop: Alex Fly said: My 100% sync trophy didn't pop after replaying my last memory to complete (and yes this include having played the alternate memory with Connor already) so if someone else had the same problem I simply recompleted the final mission and my trophy popped. desperado1089 said: For "Complete 100% of all Mission Constraints" I encountered the glitch that others were experiencing [...] so I replayed the last mission, as suggested and I didn't even have to get full synch the second time [...] and it popped right after the credits. Sequence 1 Memory 1: Only a Nightmare No mission constraints Memory 2: New Orleans by Night No mission constraints Memory 3: A Slave in Trouble No mission constraints Memory 4: The Safe House No mission constraints Memory 5: Taking Care of Business Avoid killing anyone After you tail Gérard, you’ll need to talk to Capitàn Dominguez, but you need to get past the guards first. Go down the docks towards the four guards, then bribe them by pressing . Once you bribe the guard, he will let you walk by, and you can speak to Capitàn Dominguez without killing anyone. Memory 6: Father’s Troubles Charm at least one guard Easy. In order to get to the second clue in tracking down what happened to the shipment, you need to get in a fenced up warehouse. There is a guard blocking your path. Go up to him and charm him by pressing . After that, you can proceed with the mission. (You can kill him once he follows you inside as it makes things easier). Memory 7: The Key to the Problem No mission constraints Memory 8: The Colony’s Good Enter the mansion dressed in the Lady or Slave Guise Once the memory starts, enter the Dressing Chamber on the eastern side of the mansion (purchase it if you haven’t already). Put on the Slave persona (as it is better for this mission) and climb the tree right in front of the Dressing Chamber. Once you drop down inside the mansion grounds, there will be a door you can enter immediately in front of you. Enter it by pressing . Kill the governor using a musket. You should already have the your fists equipped, but if not, do this now. After the cut-scene, and you enter into the governor’s room, block the first attack with , then disarm the guard’s musket with . Now equipped with the musket, just wait until the governor attacks you himself, block with , then counter with . Cue cut-scene. Memory 9: The Escape No mission constraints Sequence 2 Memory 1: The Loas Guide You No mission costraints Memory 2: The False Mackandal Complete the mission in under 2 minutes. Once Agaté gives you the blowpipe, equip the blowpipe using , then immediately shoot the highlighted target dummy by holding until the line is focused, then release . Run up the tree to the right using the vines. At the top, quickly hold and release to shoot the dummy, then eagle dive into the haystack down below. This should have taken you no more than 1 minute. Memory 3: Meet the Smugglers Kill 1 guard using fast poison. At the start of the memory, equip the blowpipe using , if it is not equipped already. After you reach the smuggler hideout, and subsequent cut-scene, shoot the first guard right in front of you with the blowpipe. (You can use the blowpipe on all the others as well). Memory 4: A Faithful Acolyte Kill the followers in 3 minutes Once you kill the alligator and take the egg, free-run on the tree right in front of you until you reach a guard on a lookout in the trees. Kill him quietly, then wait for one guard to walk over next to the guard nearest the wrecked ship. Double assassinate them both with your hidden blades. Once you kill those two, two guards will come at you, press to activate Chain Kill and kill those two. Three more will come at you, just block with and counter with on the first attacker, then chain attack the others (just press with your aimed at the target). This should have taken you 1 minute. Note: If you have already collected all Alligator eggs, have the Traveler’s Hat equipped, and are trying to do this post-game, make sure to equip a different hat (you need to go to a Tailor Shop to do this). Otherwise, the alligator in the memory won’t attack you, and you cannot move forward. Memory 5: The Second Camp Kill only the Acolyte After following Élise, go to the marker and go up the tree path. Don’t alert any of the guards. Keep following the tree path until you reach a haystack. Jump in the haystack and wait for the Acolyte to stop near the back of the camp. Once he is stopped, leave the haystack and sneak up behind him to kill him quietly. Memory 6: Eye of Saint John Perform a double assassination Another simple one. Once you get off the canoes, follow the tree path right in front of you. Kill the first guard in the trees quietly, then move to the next guard in the tree. Kill him quietly as well. After the second guard, drop down to the lower tree stump above two guards. Equip your blades. At the opportune time, double assassinate them with . (You can rush to a haystack nearby to not garner attention). Memory 7: The Whole Truth No mission constraints Sequence 3 Memory 1: At the Pub No mission constraints Memory 2: Prelude to Rebellion Beat enemies with your fists One of the easy ones. Just equip your fists. Once the rioters get attacked, immediately block an attack by one of the guards using , then counter with , and immediately attack the other two before they kill the rioters by aiming your towards them and pressing . Memory 3: Elegant and Deadly No mission constraints Memory 4: Vanishing Slaves Race through the checkpoints faster than your opponent All you need to do is run towards the checkpoint (there is only one). Élise is not that fast. Just cut through the bushes if you need to. Memory 5: Storming the Fort No mission constraints Memory 6: In Vino Veritas Don’t increase your notoriety All you have to do is follow Gérald and not draw attention to yourself by climbing or hitting anyone. Carriage must retain at least 50% health Once you steal the carriage, and you're riding it, try to look ahead and see what blocks your path, turn in the opposite direction with . Sometimes Gérard is mixed up and says, “Turn left! No wait… Turn right!”, so try not to rely on him so much. If you failed to stay above 50% health, just restart from checkpoint and try again. Here is a description of turns and maneuvers needed: Turn Right Turn Right, then immediate left (it’s a bend) Stay on right side to avoid barrels Turn right (and stay on right side to avoid barrels) Turn right again (stay on left side to avoid barrels) Go straight (and try to stay on left side as 3 barrel bunches are in the middle) Turn left (stay on left side, then maneuver to right side, then maneuver to left side – like a snake) Turn left (and stay on left side) Go straight towards Place D’Armes and you’re done Kill all targets in 1 minute As soon as the tutorial to block comes up, block by pressing then press to kill the guard. Rinse and repeat till the four guards are all killed. Run up the stairs and quietly go behind the last guard and assassinate him. Memory 7: Getting Ulloa’s Attention No mission constraints Memory 8: A Governor no More Set up the ambush in under 4 minutes As soon as it starts, quickly kill the guards (do so without alerting them). Use your blowpipe to speed it up and assassinate any lingering guard who’s alone. Once the guards are all killed, go to the water tower on the roof (noted with a green marker), and press to initiate sabotage. Rush to the powder keg and pick it up, then carry it to the marked spot and drop it. That’s it. Shouldn’t take you too long to do this. HaoleDave
Sequence 4 Memory 1: Southbound Do not swim Pretty self-explanatory. Just don’t go into the water. In the Slave persona, just carry a crate to the ship, all of the guards will let you go. Memory 2: A New Life No mission constraints Memory 3: Gathering Tools Don’t enter open conflict Do not try to kill a guard to start a fight for the first half of this memory. If you choose to kill, do it quietly with no one around to see (as anyone in their right mind would do if they wanted to commit a murder ). Memory 4: The Company Man The captive man must at least retain 50% of his health There’s not much to this. Just attack the guards beating up the slave. Use the block/attack method, as that works good. If you can, use your Chain Kill. Memory 5: Trail of Truth Complete the mission in 5 minutes & Do not engage in open conflict It’s really easy to not go into open conflict. The guards see you as a slave, so they won’t attack. They will have their awareness up, so if it gets too high, just hide in the bushes or the haystack on your way out. Just walk right through the door, and all should be fine. Once you are past the guards, run to the green marker. At the green area, activate eagle vision with then aim down with at the clue that is glowing gold (footprints). Run to the next green marker. Activate eagle vision again, and point at the gold footprints next to the hat. Run to the next green marker. The next clue is a bag next to the house on the ground (use your eagle vision). Last clue is behind the house. Just pick up the diary page (Diary Page #30). Memory 6: The Secret of the Cenote Note: Before you start this memory, make sure you have smoke bombs. Solve the puzzle in under 2 minutes Once you reach the puzzle, tilt , so the ball will begin to roll. The ball moves rather slowly, but it’s still enough time to complete the task. As soon as you are close to a hole in the partitions, tilt the opposite direction, and then tilt towards that hole. Repeat until you get it in the middle. If you fail, don’t fret. Just restart checkpoint before the ball goes in. Take no damage Once you retrieve the artifact, De Ferrer and his men will attack you. Immediately equip smoke bombs and deploy. (That’s what they were for). No one should touch you. Ignore the other guards and focus on De Ferrer. Use the whip by holding to keep your distance from the other guards. Keep using the whip until he is at half health, then the cut-scene will start. Sequence 5 Memory 1: Prodigal Daughter No mission constraints Memory 2: Rotten Brackets Use a powder keg to assassinate the recruiter Once you locate the recruiter with eagle vision, he will walk in a circle. On the north-eastern corner of the fort is a little alley-way that he goes in. There is a powder keg right there next to where he walks. Get positioned on the northern roof in the fort, aim at the keg, wait for him to walk by, then shoot the keg with . Remain undetected after killing the recruiter As soon as he is dead, there may be a guard coming over. Just watch him carefully and he will leave, or use poison to take him out quietly. Once the guard is dead, go down to the recruiter’s body and loot him. Once you have looted his body, go back to the roof where you shot the keg, then go east towards the exit and jump down. Walk out of the yellow zone, and voilà, you have remained undetected. Memory 3: Power of Voodoo Find Agate within 1 minute One of the easiest constraints. From where you start, turn on eagle vision with , then follow the tree path. Go to the tree path on the right side (not the left), and head towards the island. He will be there. You should find him easily as he is lit up in blue using eagle vision. Memory 4: The Lighthouse Avoid killing anyone Do not swim There are three different paths you can take, 1) The tree path, 2) The canoe, or 3) The bushes. The bushes seemed like an easier route, as I didn’t have to do any climbing or jumping and once you hide in the bushes after someone sees you, they look away again. Once you reach the lighthouse, be careful of the guard down below. After he takes a piss, he walks away and leaves the door on the lighthouse open. Climb up it until you reach a ladder. You can begin climbing the ladder, but careful not to get the guards attention. If he notices you (yellow triangle above his head), just walk to the opposite side (Don’t kill him). Once the second ladder is open, hurry and climb up it. There’s the lighthouse switch, so pull it and you’re finished. Memory 5: Stolen Goods Carry two crates yourself As soon as the smugglers start to carry crates, rush over and work as fast as you can to carry a crate over to the raft. After your first one, some guards may appear. Dispatch of them quickly (Use your Chain Kill or gun), and rush back over to the crates to carry another crate to the raft. Sequence 6 Memory 1: Return to Mexico Solve the puzzle in 5 moves or less This is easy. See the picture for visual aid 1 - center-middle --> right 2 - center-left --> right 3 - top-left --> down 4 - top-middle --> left 5 - center-middle --> up http://i.imgur.com/qlAPLrK.png Sequence 7 Memory 1: An Urgent Favour Do not engage guards in open conflict Once you save George, just walk with him around the area filled with guards (red dots). I went on the right side as far as I felt was necessary. Just head towards the gate with George avoiding guards. Memory 2: Supplying the Revolution Note: From the start of this memory equip and only use melee weapons, i.e. blades or sword. And don’t jump into the water. Read all of the constraints before starting. Don’t swim Simple. Don’t swim. Don’t fall into the water. Don’t do a swan dive. Restart last checkpoint if you do, however. The raft must retain at least 50% health In order to keep the raft above 50% health, you need to stay ahead of the raft. As soon as you are able, jump onto the tree path to the first set of guards and dispatch them as quickly as possible. Use only the tree paths to get to your destination. You can use your Chain Kill to dispatch the guards quickly, but don’t highlight the gun Chain Kill, only the sword Chain Kills. Use only melee weapons Whatever you do, do not kill an enemy/guard with a gun or blowpipe. As I said before, Chain Kill is alright, as long as you don’t highlight the gun Chain Kill. If you do shoot someone by mistake, just restart last checkpoint and you shouldn’t be too far back. Memory 3: The Last Dance No mission constraints Sequence 8 Memory 1: A Fool’s Errand Climb the waterfall in less than 1 minute Just climb. Move as quickly as you can. If you fail (as in you fall or get stalled for too long), just restart the last checkpoint. Memory 2: Connor's Way (only required for the trophy, if you redeemed this from Uplay or are playing the PS4 remastered version) No mission constraints If you have redeemed this mission from Uplay or you are playing the PS4 remastered version, you must play this mission for the trophy. You will not come across this in natural play. In order to play the mission, you need to go to DNA in the Database menu, then head to Sequence 8, and select Memory 2: Connor's Way. If you have already completed every mission constraint but this, then after completion of this memory, the trophy should pop. Thanks to SylarTheNinja for this information. HaoleDave
Sequence 9 Memory 1: Abandoning Pretence No mission constraints Memory 2: Confronting Agate Complete the mission in 5 minutes Take no damage This is one of the hardest constraints. Before you start this memory, stock up on bullets and smoke bombs (and purchase all upgrades available for the two). The 4-barreled pistol (available to purchase in a Weapons Shop) is the best gun to have for this. As long as you use the bomb and gun technique, you should make it within the 5 minutes with time to spare. Now, as soon as the memory starts and Agaté throws a smoke bomb, equip your gun with and shoot him a couple of times, then reload. He’ll vanish and you’ll be in the next area. There will be two waves of enemies (groups of three) to fight at this next area (by the haystack). As soon as one wave appears, throw a smoke bomb and quickly dispatch the guards. Right after you kill the third guard, throw another smoke bomb. Rinse and repeat. Use your gun for the 2nd wave, then reload. In the next area, as you climb up to reach the checkpoint, Agaté throws another smoke bomb and 2 more waves will appear. Rinse & repeat as you have done the other two waves. Use your gun for the 2nd wave, then reload. Your whip can also help, if you are having trouble, as the guards won’t touch you when you pull an enemy with it using . After that, just climb up to meet Agaté for the cut-scene. Another great tip thanks to Barrndawg: Barrndawg said: I got a tip for the last few sequences with "Take no damage" as the constraint... 1. Purchase the large smoke bomb pouch. I used one for every wave of enemies during Agate's fight. 2. Have smoke bombs equipped as your ranged weapon. I tried using the gun but after a few tries realized it wouldn't work for me. 3. When an enemy attacks, counter them and push . Since you have smoke bombs equipped, when you push , you'll counter the attack plus throw a smoke bomb. 4. Once the smoke bomb goes off, you can kill at least 4 enemies before the bomb dissipates/disappears. I was using the sword (I don't know if it makes a difference), but when the enemies are choking from the bomb, you can get an instant kill on them. Once the bomb disappears, if you have any enemies left, just repeat step three. Memory 3: Reconciliation Kill the Citizen E in less than 2 minutes There is a path that lies ahead of you that you need to take, just notice areas where you need to grab onto (like a wooden railing). Once you reach Citizen E, hurry and assassinate him with your hidden blades. If you fail to reach him in time, just restart last checkpoint. Memory 4: Erudito Do not take any damage Again, one of the hardest constraints. Smoke bombs and guns are your friends… again. First, use your Chain Kill with and take out some of the guards. Then use smoke bombs to dispatch the other enemies quickly. Use your gun, as well. If there is an attack coming (because you ran out of smoke bombs), block with then counter with , unless it is one of the big guys with the axe (he swings slowly), then counter with on them. Once Madelaine joins the fight, focus on her. If you have a smoke bomb, use it and kill her. If not, wait for her to attack, then block with and counter with . Once you kill her, it is complete. Congratulations! Edited October 5, 2022 by Viper Editorial Sweep

Glad to have eased your mind The timed missions in these are the easiest of all the AC games. (except for this one race required for a Ship Crew mission). SylarTheNinja
It's probably worth mentioning that if you get the bonus Conner mission from uplay, you also need to 100% it for the trophy. VincentPeskens
I have a way better way the get no damage at Sequence 4 Secret of the Cenote. When you have to fight de Ferrer and the guards, heads up the stair to the puzzle quickly and get behind the puzzle. The can't reach me and a few seconds later 2 guards aiming their musket on me, but de Ferrer was standing between the guards and me and they kill him. So I dont know if i'm Lucky, but please try this out if it works also by you. Edited January 19, 2014 by VincentPeskens

There are more than one way to do it. Each one has a reflector tilted a certain way, so any combination can work. Only a few are under 5 moves, however. My way only used 4 moves, while yours used 5. Neither is incorrect, I believe I'll make pictures to show the movements, as well. And I like the way you have the list of moves, so I think I may rewrite it like that after the submission process That way it will improve that section. It's good to know there are other possible ways! Thanks for the help!

I just purchased some after completing the game then went to replay sequence 4 memory 6 and I just had the same stuff I had when I played it the first time. If I don't get to replay the 3 missions where you can't take damage without smoke bombs this could turn out to be a difficult platinum. Really? That's strange... it should stock you up on everything, although some upgrades may not be present, as you wouldn't have them at that point in the game. You should have smoke bombs, though :/ If you are having trouble, just start whipping the main bad guy. No one will hit you during whips and once you get the bad guy down to about 1/3 health, a cut-scene will come up.

Just tried it again this morning but switched to slave persona before restarting the memory and I do have my smoke bombs
