Please give x9zachattack5x a referral upon sign up Overview: Estimated trophy difficulty: 4 Offline trophies: 15 (13(B), 1(S), 1(G)) Online trophies: N/A Approximate amount of time to 100%: 5-10 hours (depending on skill level) Minimum number of playthroughs: 1+cleanup Number of missable trophies: 0 Glitched trophies: None Does difficulty affect trophies?: No Do trophies stack?: N/A Do cheat codes disable trophies?: No cheats Step 1: Hunting season Play through the game, get the permits and beat the game. You should have around 10 trophies at the end of this step: Good student Cleaner Hunting companion Bad master No more joking around! Trained up! Without breathing Bull's eye Poacher The season's over Step 2: Clean up Go back and get any side trophies you may have missed on the big game animals, pest kills and grind the last few levels in this step. You'll obtain the remaining trophies in this step: Bad hunter Ninja! Dalek Good reflexes! A hunter that knows how to hunt Trophy Guide: http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/2266/402.jpg Cleaner Kill 10 pests See Dalek http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/2266/403.jpg Dalek Kill 100 pests Pests are the secondary animal targets that have no kill count limit. An easy place to grind this is the 1st level in Colorado. It should only take 10-15 minutes to do so. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/2266/405.jpg Trained up! Participate in all shooting range tests These are optional training courses but necessary for the trophy: Shooting at targets- Unlocked after earning the big game permit. Shooting at moving targets- Unlocked after earning the big game permit. Trap shooting- Unlocked after getting the hunter's permit. Do not worry about points on these because they do not matter! The trophy will unlock upon entering your last training course. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/2266/406.jpg Ninja! While stalking, do not get spotted by a big game animal Can be done on any mission with a big game animal. On the mission, "First Big Game Hunt" in Colorado simply crouch-approach the elk without being seen. Take your time aiming and when you have a nice shot lined up pull the trigger. The trophy will unlock after picking up the dead elk. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/2266/407.jpg Bad hunter Kill an animal that is not in the hunt plan On the "Elk Trophies" level simply find the deer group and shoot the female deer (the ones without the antlers). Note: Shooting a non-target animal will fail the mission but will net you this trophy. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/2266/408.jpg Good student Get the hunting permit Story mode related and cannot be missed. This is the first level of the game. Step 1: Shoot the targets. They will not be moving so this is very easy. Step 2: Shoot moving targets. Still easy but basically wait for the target to come to your reticule then pull the trigger. It is easier that way. Step 3: Shoot clay pigeons. This game sort of has an auto-aim function to moving animals (in this case clay pigeons) except for big game animals. Use this to your advantage here folks! Step 4: Same as step 3 except you must run to different locations, use to move faster. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/2266/409.jpg Hunting companion Get the dog-handler permit Story mode related and cannot be missed. Available after the first mission of Colorado. Dog controls: to sniff, to move forward, and the left stick to look around. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/2266/010.jpg No more joking around! Get the big game permit Story mode related and cannot be missed. Unlocked after the 4th mission of Colorado. Step 1: Aim close to the middle of the target for max points. 2 shots per round, 4 rounds. Bullseye is 10 points. Score 60 or above. It should be no problem, I scored 70 on 1st try. Step 2: This is the round with moving animal targets. Simply hit 9 out of 12 targets. Auto aim works pretty well here as well. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/2266/011.jpg Without breathing Get the pro permit Story mode related and cannot be missed. This permit teaches you how to hold your breath using Simply hit 9 out of 12 targets. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/2266/012.jpg Bull's eye Get the sniper permit Story mode related and cannot be missed. Another target with 4 rounds requiring 60 points. Bullseye is again 10 points. Tip: Aim close to middle then hold your breath using , it works wonders! http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/2266/013.jpg Good reflexes! Kill a fleeing big game animal Can be done on any mission with a big game animal. I would just use the level, "First Big Game Hunt" again. Instead of sneaking up; run towards him and aim at him until he sees you. As soon as he turns to run, pull the trigger and kill him. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/2266/014.jpg A hunter that knows how to hunt Unlock all of the hunter's skills This trophy requires you to get to level 26 and it will be 100,000 exp total. Two great levels to do this are on the 4th mission in Colorado and the 5th mission in Wyoming. Getting 20-25 kills in these levels is very easy and will get you 2000-2300 exp each run. Each run will be about 3 minutes. You should be level 23 by the end of the game. I was level 23 with about 68,454 exp total. I just had to do one of those missions 16 times. This will take about an hour to complete. Nice, quick and easy grind for you guys! Tip: Using the last unlocked shotgun can actually get you close to 30 kills if your aim is great! This will shave about 15 minutes off. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/2266/015.jpg The season's over Complete all of the hunt plans for the Hunting Season Story related and cannot be missed. Complete all levels in each region and this easy gold trophy is yours! Last 3 "boss levels" are longer than most. The "boss levels" are the last level of a region. Tips on the longer levels: Take your time upon approaching the big game targets. As missing one will let you continue the level but will fail anyways because you run out of animals to kill. Approach them slowly and make sure your shot is lined up correctly because shooting them while they are running is very difficult. There are no checkpoints so failing the mission puts you back to the very beginning. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/2266/401.jpg Bad master Having killed a dog After getting your dog permit head to your first dog level, "First Tracking With a Dog". Now at the beginning of the level, look down and shoot your dog. I know it's sad but it's for the trophy! Note: This will fail the mission but will net you the trophy. Simply restart the level after it fails. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/2266/404.jpg Poacher Kill a puma On the last level of Alaska and all the levels in Alberta all have pumas. Find one and kill it! Note: Killing a puma ends the mission but nets this trophy. Simply restart the level after it fails. GMV-EHV
Thnx for the guide. Anyone here who can tell me if you can change your aiming settings just like in Hunter's trophy 2 : Australia? I've just finished that game and changing your aiming settings from mixed to classic made the game much easier. If that's the case in this game too i'm gonna grab it, if not i'm gonna let it pass. The bouncing crosshair was very annoying... Anyone? *edit* Well i bought it and the game is a complete copy of the Australia version with the same levels, the same bridges and windmills everywere, the same tracks to follow and even the same spawnpoints for the harder levels with the small birds. So yes you can edit your aiming to make it steadier. So this made the game very easy. For grinding XP i used the 5th mission in Wyoming (i believe its called "Land were game is king") instead of the Colorado level. In this level u can use concentration, which i couldn't use in Colorando for some reason, and in combination with a 3 shot shotgun u could easily get to 50+ kills, meaning you could rack up 5000-6000 xp per run. Yeah, the 5th mission of Wyoming was stated in the guide. Glad you got it done!
SwatTJ
Thanks for the guide. Only had issues with the Sandpipers. The grind for the last few levels was a breeze. One more off the backlog.
