Thank you! Introduction There are a total of 35 collectibles in Battlefield 4. They consist of Dog Tags and weapons. The dog tags, look like knifes stuck into the wall whereas weapons just look like ordinary guns that are in hidden places. To collect a dog tag just have to press when you see the on screen prompt. To pick up a weapon you have to press when you see the on screen prompt. There are many trophies related to the collectibles that you will unlock on the way, these are: http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1640/F49.jpgStumbled over it Find 3 collectibles in the Campaign http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1640/25E.jpgIt was on the way... These are very easy and I got gold first time in every mission. All you have to do is beat the gold score for a mission in order to pass the assignment. You can check what score you need and your current score in a mission by pressing , it will show you there. There is a scoring system to the assignments, these are as follows: Regular Kill 100 Points [*]Headshot 25 Points + additional 100 points [*]Multi-Kill (Kill 2 or more enemies quickly) 100 points per kill. Example; Kill 3 enemies quickly, 600 points. [*]Adrenaline Kill (Kill an enemy while on low health) 50 Points + additional 100 points [*]Melee Kill 25 Points + additional 100 points [*]Kill Streak 50 Points for each kill during the streak + additional 100 points per kill [*]Squad Kills - AI gets a kill 50 Points Only The best way to make sure you beat the gold mission time is to throw a grenade into a group of enemies then focus killing another group of enemies. This will usually always warrant a multi-kill bonus which is the most point rewarding bonus you can earn. But to be honest, you don't even have to worry about this. Just play how you usually would and unless you aren't getting any bonuses at all you are more than likely to get gold. My tactic was to just rush enemies and try and get as many multi-kills as I could. This was done on easy difficulty. FAQ Q. If I die after picking one up, do I have to pick it up again? A. No. Once you pick it up, it'll save and you won't need to pick it up again. The same can be said for if you quit the game after picking one up. Q. Can I check which ones I am missing? A. Yes, this is done on the mission select screen or by pressing while in a mission. Q. I unlocked the trophy without having them all? A. The trophy is a little glitchy, but in a good way. Due to poor coding there's a few extra dog tags you can get in the last mission and these also count towards the trophy. The same can be said for weapons as you are able to pick a few of them up. Don't worry if it unlocks early, it undoubtedly will if you are picking up guns off the floor all the time. Q. What does the little play button mean in the guide? A. Click this button and it will take you to the point in the video where that exact collectible is being collected. Note: This doesn't work on iPhone's or iPad's. Q. What weapon drops are in which missions? A. There is many different weapons in each of the missions. As you play, just make sure to pick up all the weapons that are dropped by enemies. Doing this will make the trophy unlock sooner than it should too. Edited November 1, 2013 by Harry94_
Harry94_
Mission 1: Baku [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=goF9vhCKnVs]Battlefield 4 - All Collectible Locations (Weapons and Dog Tags) - Mission 1: Baku - YouTube[/ame] 1: Dog Tag Name of Collectible: Nice Play At the start of the mission, after the prologue, you will have to wade through a submerged corridor and then crouch under a fallen bookshelf. Head up the stairs and the collectible is in the closed door on your right. Pinned to the wall. http://i42.tinypic.com/111oy88.jpg 2: Weapon Name of Collectible: M39 EMR After you meet up with your squad, you will be tasked with saving Irish in the street below. After this you will move into a large open area and the game will tell you about the "Engage" option you can use. In this area, you want to head up the collapsed balcony on the left hand side. Follow this balcony to find the gun lying in a fallen wooden box. http://i42.tinypic.com/2zp4mli.jpg 3: Dog Tag Name of Collectible: One Way Almost immediately after the last collectible, your squad will jump down a hole. You don't want to follow them, instead navigate along the tiny piece of outstretched concrete on the left and then jump over the lockers. In this new area, the window directly ahead of you will have the knife with the dog tag stuck into the frame. http://i39.tinypic.com/j7dd93.jpg 4: Weapon Name of Collectible: MG4 After you gain access to helicopter support, you will see a weapon crate on the path you on are. Just ahead of this path, on the right are some concrete pipes. Inside the the middle concrete pipe you will find the weapon lying down inside. http://i41.tinypic.com/23quk7.jpg 5: Weapon Name of Collectible: CBJ-MS Eventually you will head through a pipe and fall down into a new area. As soon as you land in this new area, an RPG will try to shoot the support helicopter down. Head to where this RPG fire came from and go up the stairs here onto the small walkway. Head all the way along until you see a girder coming off the walkway to the left. Jump over the railing to that girder and the weapon is just in front of you. http://i41.tinypic.com/25yy5i9.jpg 6: Dog Tag Name of Collectible: Sergeant Dunn When you reach the factory roof, the building will collapse and you will fall to the floor. After Irish pulls you out from under the rubble you will be tasked to cut off Dunn's leg. Don't do this yet, instead walk around to the front of the downed helicopter. Inside the cockpit is the dog tag. http://i43.tinypic.com/keukx5.jpg Mission 2: Shanghai [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wXgx3aB_HzU]Battlefield 4 - All Collectible Locations (Weapons and Dog Tags) - Mission 2: Shanghai - YouTube[/ame] 7: Dog Tag Name of Collectible: A One-Man Riot After you exit the car, your squad will head down to the left, don't go in there yet. Instead go the the right, head down the alleyway and make a left turn. Down this new alleyway you will find the dog tag sticking out of a door. http://i44.tinypic.com/24kyxdy.jpg 8: Dog Tag Name of Collectible: Going up? When you are in the elevator, the door will accidentally open up to a load of soldiers. After the door closes, you will head down to a new floor. As soon as you get out, the dog tag is pinned to the wall above the elevator door. http://i41.tinypic.com/24e7310.jpg 9: Weapon Name of Collectible: QBS-09 Immediately after the last collectible, head towards the objective. A solider will come out of a door on the left, head inside this room. At the very back by some lockers you will find the weapon. http://i41.tinypic.com/nbve6p.jpg 10: Weapon Name of Collectible: RFB After you rescue the VIPs you will get back into the elevator and end up in the lobby. In the center of the lobby is a big lion statue next to a ammo box. The weapon is located near the lions paw on the statue itself. http://i41.tinypic.com/jz8dqh.jpg 11: Dog Tag Name of Collectible: Business Casual When escaping from the tank you will run down a series of alleyways. Eventually you will cross a road into a new alleyway and then head up a broken metal fence. At the end of this alleyway you will see a tree on your right. Harry94_
Mission 3: South China Sea [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FdbgMYaDrpY]Battlefield 4 - All Collectible Locations (Weapons and Dog Tags) - Mission 3: South China Sea - YouTube[/ame] 12: Dog Tag Name of Collectible: Carcharodon At the very start of the mission you want to head down the hallway and then enter the furthest room on the right, just before the man holding the step ladder. The dog tag is near the top of the bunk on the right in this room. http://i44.tinypic.com/nh07py.jpg 13: Weapon Name of Collectible: P90 When you arrive on the USS Titan you will have to find a hatch called G-46. To reach the hatch you have to go through the door on your right in the corridor. Instead of going right through that door go left and through the open door. The gun can be found resting on a box in here. If you get lost and find hatch G-46 just turn around and go through the door at the end of the hallway http://i43.tinypic.com/2epog0w.jpg 14: Dog Tag Name of Collectible: Lord of the Waves As soon as you find the hatch, you will have to go through an area completely underwater. Swim through this area and the objective will tell you to make a right to get out of the water. Don't go right just yet, instead look at the wall just in front of you. The dog tag is pinned to the metal wall just in front of you. http://i41.tinypic.com/2nqee08.jpg 15: Weapon Name of Collectible: U100-MK5 After the ship splits in two, you want to head to the newly formed deck and you will see a jet roll across the screen. The jet rolls right by the entrance to where the gun is. You want to head down this entrance to the cabin rooms. Follow this corridor and you will find the weapon at the very end. http://i39.tinypic.com/2m5eyjt.jpg 16: Weapon Name of Collectible: SPAS-12 Eventually you will enter a helicopter hangar area that has 2 osprey helicopters and forklift trucks spread around. The helicopter that is in front of all the others has the gun in the back of it, by some seats. http://i44.tinypic.com/6qw1o0.jpg 17: Dog Tag Name of Collectible: Agent Kovic After being reunited with Hannah, you will emerge deck of the Valkyrie. There will be a lot of enemies on the left hand side of the deck,. You want to ignore all the enemies for now and head to the very back of the deck towards the downed transport helicopter. In the cockpit of the helicopter you will find the dog tag. http://i39.tinypic.com/rkt3ig.jpg Mission 4: Singapore [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PscOfOvNSks]Battlefield 4 - All Collectible Locations (Weapons and Dog Tags) - Mission 4: Singapore - YouTube[/ame] 18: Dog Tag Name of Collectible: Horizontal Rain When you land on the beach, you will see a hovercraft to your left. Head round this and you will see a beached sail boat close to the water. On the side facing the sea, the dog tag can be found. http://i42.tinypic.com/2ufapao.jpg 19: Weapon Name of Collectible: SCAR-H SV Eventually you will reach a tank that you will be tasked to drive. Instead of getting in the tank, look at the scaffolding around the bridge support beams to your left. You want to head up these scaffolds and follow them around until you reach a dead end. The gun will be on the floor here. http://i39.tinypic.com/153r6z7.jpg 20: Weapon Name of Collectible: M240B This one is pretty tricky to find. You will eventually reach a multi-story car park which has some tanks inside. From this area you want to head up to the top floor and then to the far end which is facing out to sea. You will notice some crates, climb these and then jump to the concrete that is sticking out on the building next to you. If you landed it right, you now want to shimmy around the whole building until you reach the gun. Be careful not to fall off s it is easily done. http://i41.tinypic.com/2e3mott.jpg 21: Dog Tag Name of Collectible: Armored Column After you are forced to leave the tank, you will go up some stairs and drop down into a bar / restaurant. Kill the enemies here then proceed to the counter / bar on the right hand side. Behind the bar you will find the dog tag sticking out of the counter. http://i43.tinypic.com/2uj017p.jpg 22: Weapon Name of Collectible: M16A4 Eventually you will reach a hangar and you will see 2 guys standing next to a jet. Follow our squad into the room they go in and the gun is in the far right corner behind a supply block. The easiest thing to do is blow up the block as it's right behind the crates and tricky to grab. http://i40.tinypic.com/348py0w.jpg 23: Dog Tag Name of Collectible: Grounded Dog You will eventually reach a new hangar that has a huge passenger jet inside it. You want to make your way to the far side of this plane. Once there you want to use any explosive on the engine. This will cause the wing to explode and make a ramp. Head up this newly formed ramp and you will see the dog tag at the very top. http://i43.tinypic.com/27x49s3.jpg Edited November 1, 2013 by Harry94_
Harry94_
Mission 5: Kunlun Mountains [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0b5bFattIpQ]Battlefield 4 - All Collectible Locations (Weapons and Dog Tags) - Mission 5: Kunlun Mountains - YouTube[/ame] 24: Dog Tag Name of Collectible: Cage Fighter After you rescue Irish from the prison guard you will head into a corridor and there will be more prisoners standing here. Instead of going left towards the objective, go right. Look at the cell furthest from you and the dog tag is located inside the cell (You can collect it through the door). http://i44.tinypic.com/2wf07lh.jpg 25: Dog Tag Name of Collectible: Freedom at any Cost When inside the very large room, you must kill the enemies to advance to the end so you can escape through the gate ahead. You will notice pillars with numbers on them, look for the one on the left that has "A2" written on it. Right by this pillar is a ladder. You want to climb this ladder and then look immediately to your left. You will see a doorway and a power box. Sticking out the side of the box is the dog tag. http://i40.tinypic.com/33cwwft.jpg 26: Weapon Name of Collectible: 338-Recon Once you exit the prison you will be outside in the snow. You want to fight your way until you reach a bridge. On both sides of the bridge there are some stairs going down. Head down either one of them then go through the door at the bottom. The weapon is lying on the floor down here. http://i40.tinypic.com/v4m35c.jpg 27: Dog Tag Name of Collectible: Shaw-Shanked Redemption After you cross the bridge you will have to go to the "Tram" as the game calls, it, but its really just a cable car. Don't go up to them yet, instead head underneath the station area and the dog tag is sticking out of the concrete ledge facing down the cliff. http://i39.tinypic.com/35jjzvt.jpg Mission 6: Tashgar [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fhxsTOsnXFk]Battlefield 4 - All Collectible Locations (Weapons and Dog Tags) - Mission 6: Tashgar - YouTube[/ame] 28: Weapon Name of Collectible: A-91 At the start of the mission you will see a downed helicopter and a large archway in the distance. If you look to your left, you will see a two story building. You want to head into this house and go up the two sets of stairs until you reach the roof. Once up here you will want to jump to the roof of the building next to you. Here, you will find the weapon in the top right corner of the roof. http://i39.tinypic.com/24yty0o.jpg 29: Weapon Name of Collectible: M249 Eventually you will enter a park. Directly in front of you will be a weapon crate. You want to head to the left of this and you will see a burnt out car. Lying next to the car you will find the weapon on the ground. http://i41.tinypic.com/s30gu8.jpg 30: Weapon Name of Collectible: AEK-971 After the park section you will head under a bridge and then emerge to lot's of enemies shooting towards Old Town Just beyond the river near where these enemies are there is a building on the right with stairs on the side of the building. Head up these stairs and keep going until you reach the roof. Once on the roof, the weapon is on some crates (It's glitched in the crates so tricky to see). http://i44.tinypic.com/2ueh4iv.jpg 31: Dog tag Name of Collectible: Destruction Enthusiast After you got the last weapon, head back down the stairs and then to where the destroyed tanks, BTRs etc are. You will see a blue truck in front of you here. You want to blow this truck up with any explosive weapon. Once you have done that, walk up the back of it and you will see the dog tag inside. http://i44.tinypic.com/141jl2f.jpg 32: Dog Tag Name of Collectible: Upstream Swimmer Once you reach the dam, you will have to kill a lot of enemies and destroy a helicopter. You will then reach a fork in the dam, there is a higher path on the left and a lower path on the right. Head up the higher path then climb up the cabin at the end. Once on the cabin roof, jump to the scaffolding just ahead of you and you will find the dog tag. http://i42.tinypic.com/281ex4y.jpg Mission 7: Suez [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3lkEPywRiGM]Battlefield 4 - All Collectible Locations (Weapons and Dog Tags) - Mission 7: Suez - YouTube[/ame] 33: Dog Tag Name of Collectible: Rebel While on the deck of the ship you will eventually see an Osprey helicopter that inst destroyed, but damaged. This is to the left of where you climb up the destoryed Osprey helciopter at the very start of the mission. You now want to climb up the metal sheets next to the damaged Osprey and then jump up onto the propeller. From here just walk along the helicopter until you reach the back of it. The dog tag is stuck in the tail wing at the back. http://i42.tinypic.com/2qx0xah.jpg 34: Weapon Name of Collectible: AK 5C As soon as you picked up the last dog tag, head further down the deck towards the rubble just ahead of the Osprey. Sitting next to the rubble you will find the weapon. You will only be able to reach this if you have killed all the enemies on the part above you. If there is still enemies left, the bridge part of the ship that collapsed here won't have fallen in the sea yet, thus you can't get the weapon until it has. http://i44.tinypic.com/a2ghns.jpg 35: Dog Tag Name of Collectible: Fleet Guardian Once you reach the medical bay, look at the cubicles on the right hand side of the room. The final collectible can be found in the half curtained off cubicle that is closest to Hannah, Garrison etc. It's on the bed itself. http://i41.tinypic.com/2e1880g.jpg Edited November 1, 2013 by Harry94_

Totoyeahwhat
Can you explain how "full arsenal" works? It confuses me a little. I may clear up when I get the game, but it's just so I won't have to backtrack.
Maximussplatter
This is my 1st time playing any Battle Field game.. COD's the same shit over n over again!! I kno I kno! Lol. But To get to my point; Should I start off on Easy/or Med difficulty so I can get all the collectibles & whatnot outta the way on my 1st playthru w/out too much trouble? Cuz I'm guessing u gotta do a few playthru's to get the platinum trophy anyway.. So I've been told!! Unless there's chapter select & u can go back n do all 3 endings in different attempts!!! I'm not sure, I only read thru the trophies & assumed that's how it was!! Any advice would be appreciated!! Thx 4 ur time! MaximusSplatter

Enlightened 1
Battlefield is not as difficult as COD veteran on hard by any means but the battlefield campaigns are very slow and boring compared to the CODs btw I play both but prefer COD over battlefield for campaign
Harry94_
This campaign on hard is very easy, at least compared to BF3.

Warbear
Another awesome guide. Was thinking about picking this up, but I never really got into the MP for BF. Since it seems like an easy plat, I might actually play it when my brother picks it up this weekend. Only 35 collectibles though?
ShootOnSight
Thanks. I actually found the campaign really enjoyable for a FPS. I'm just not a fan of the vehicle controls. Screenshots up for the first two missions. The rest will be up at some point tomorrow. Totally agree on the vehicle controls, can't get use to this new system. For me, BF has always been about MP, don't remember anything about the BFBC2 or BF3 campaigns, but have had some amazing MP moments One small question: according to my Battlelog there are 7 weapons in Tashgar, but you've listed less. Does this mean you don't need all 7 for the trophy? Edited November 1, 2013 by ShootOnSight

Thanks Yeah, only 35 collectibles. 19 dog tags and 16 weapons Totally agree on the vehicle controls, can't get use to this new system. For me, BF has always been about MP, don't remember anything about the BFBC2 or BF3 campaigns, but have had some amazing MP moments One small question: according to my Battlelog there are 7 weapons in Tashgar, but you've listed less. Evermeet
Q. What does the little play button mean in the guide? A. Click this button and it will take you to the point in the video where that exact collectible is being collected. Note: This doesn't work on iPhone's or iPad's. This does not seem to be working on my PC either. I can see in the link what time it should go to, but it starts at the beginning every time. Harry94_
Do collectibles carry across difficulties and playthroughs? I'm not 100% sure, but I think they do. I'll confirm today when I start my hard run. This does not seem to be working on my PC either. I can see in the link what time it should go to, but it starts at the beginning every time. Don't have the game, I'm just getting impatient for the PS4 so I'm wandering through the games. Great looking guide though! This feature has never worked for me either, but it is working as I got some people to test it out. I don't know why it doesn't work for some people

AlphaCookie
I honestly didn't have a clue that these dog tags even existed Assignments maybe? Pac: [spoiler=Doesanyonereallycare] Pac dogtag is unlocked when you let the boat blow up at the end of the game As for the other two tags, it's being reported all over the internet, across all platforms, that's there's no way to unlock them. Either bugged, or DICE simply removed the things that unlocked them but didn't remove the tags.
