Welcome to the PST Completionist Leaderboard! This is a leaderboard for the true completionists: those who plough through the hardest difficulties, grind out hundreds of hours online and buy rubbish/overpriced DLC just to earn that elusive 100%. If you believe that you deserve a place on the leaderboard but are not a member of the site yet, please join us here!

 

Rules

 

• To sign up, please post both your PSN ID and automated gamercard from PSNProfiles. This is the only gamercard I will accept as it is the easiest site with which to track trophy information. Note that the completion % shown in the card is not your actual %, as PSNP's % is based on trophy values.
• You will need 250 posts in order to sign up to the leaderboard. This is to ensure that people don't sign up for a place on the leaderboard and then never use the site, preventing a regular user from getting on there. Hopefully it will get people more involved in the community too.
• You must have a completion percentage of at least 90% and have earned either 2500 total trophies or 50 to sign up for a place on the leaderboard. Furthermore, your account must be at least one year old.
• Regular cheating/hacking is strictly prohibited and if discovered, you will be banned indefinitely from this leaderboard. If you regretfully hacked any trophies or used save files in the past, but kept this practice to a minimum (for example, the SOCOM/FUEL hack), I will allow you to sign up but only if you explicity inform me of these trophies first. You can send this infomation to me privately in a PM.
• Following on from this, hidden trophies are allowed only in exceptional circumstances and have to be approved by me first. For example, as mentioned above, if you used a save file many years ago or accidentally joined a hacked online lobby and have hidden the trophies, that's OK for a maximum of two games. You must provide evidence of these before you sign up. Again, these will be accepted only for exceptional circumstances, not for games you legitimately can't complete.
• Shared accounts/teams are strictly prohibited from this leaderboard.
• If you previously had 0% games on your profile but deleted them, then this is fine as it is impossible to police.

 

Updating

 

• I will endeavour to update the leaderboard WHENEVER I DAMN WELL FEEL LIKE IT! Because of other commitments and the way the Hall of Fame feature works, there will be no updating upon request.
• In the case of a tie in completion % to two decimal places, I will go by the total percentage. In the very small chance there is still a tie, or more likely with multiple people on 100%, the member with the highest number of trophies will be placed highest on the leaderboard.
• Inactive accounts will be removed from the leaderboard on the first update after one month without any new trophies earned has passed. If you start earning trophies again, you must sign up once more to the leaderboard.

Hall Of Fame

 

This is the Completionist Leaderboard Hall Of Fame, a little addition I thought I'd bring in which basically gives lasting recognition to those who have pushed themselves to the limits to get into the Top 5. No more need for desperate Print Screens, folks!

 

There are two lists, the first which lists members in order of most updates sorted by highest positions, i.e. first place, then second place, then third place etc; and the second which lists members by total updates in the Top 5 overall. Again, all ties will be separated by number of trophies on that given update.

 

My aim with this is to add a little more fun to the Leaderboard, whilst at the same time offering an incentive to go that extra mile. Hope you enjoy it!

 

These lists will be updated at the same time as the main Leaderboard. Counts began on 16th September 2014 and are accurate as of 19th April 2023.

I was tempted to put myself in first and then say "updates will be done at the end of the month"

 

I thought long and hard about whether I should make it Top 50 or 100, but at the moment it's 50. This sort of thing is new to me (I haven't used Excel/spreadsheets since 10 years ago at school ), so I've had to read a few tutorials and ask for help on that. Therefore, I thought I'd ease myself in gently, and then depending on sign ups/success, I might possibly expand it to 100 in the future. That's why I left the thread title unspecified

 

If it was as easy as using the completion % given in the PSNP card, I'd happily make it 100, but unfortunately that figure is based on trophy values. If a gamercard which gives full completionist information becomes available, that'd be most helpful. At the moment, I have to go to each profile, do a few calculations and put it all into a spreadsheet

 

Plus, I believe that having a Top 50 will encourage people to push harder for completionism rather than just satisfying it enough to get anywhere on the Top 100 leaderboard.

85% will quickly mean squat - even CP's top 100 was in the low 80's so a top 50 will be into the 90's I imagine. EDIT: There we go! (currently 90.8)

Yeah, 85 is about right. 80 is too low and would mean most of the people signing up would be booted off almost instantly and end up hating me And 90 was too harsh. Especially as this is a new thread and I imagine a fair few of the old leaderboard won't come back, meaning some spaces for lower numbers.

Thanks a lot mate, that was exactly my reasoning too. Completionism is a particularly hardcore gaming attitude anyway, so I thought we needed a hardcore leaderboard

With the stricter parameters, there'll be less sign ups. Plus a lot of the users in the older thread will likely not come back, so 50 is a solid enough number for now. Plus, I need to learn how to use Excel and get a process for updating going first

 

As said earlier, the possibility of increasing it is open to me, but I like it how it is at the moment. It's more competitive and "hardcore", which I think reflecs well on the whole idea of completionism.
