Assassin's Creed III: Liberation - Trophy Guide & Roadmap

Recommended Posts

I was looking for such a trick. We've got a bard in ACII :D

And pickpocketing here is soo messed up. Left trigger to trigger it, left analog to walk, right to turn around, X to speed up, and swiping back panel to get cash... X_x What were they thinking?!

P.S.

Can I ask for an map screen where to find this corrupted one guy? Sorry still a little lost in this game...

Tell me about it... I was trying to grind this and when you only to get 30 ecu from anyone it looked like it was going to be a long one... Then i stumbled across this by accident and tried again to be sure. The trophy popped so i posted my find immediately

Thx, Apsyka.

What about economy tasks in multiplayer? I fill really lost in this mode. I have no idea what I am doing, rank is going up but still 0 for this type of task :/ I don't see nodes described by GuerrillaDawg :/

EDIT: I found those economic nodes. The beginners with pillage stat at 1 can start with Russian teritory (around the middle of the Russian country).

Sorry, I thought the picture of the Brazil mission was enough to figure out economic nodes. I've added a small tip with the different colors.

For Poison

Use berserk poison to force an enemy to kill 5 enemies

I got it easily in sequence 3 mission 3. You have to attack an enemy group, they are 7 of them and i got it on my first try.

Doesn't the mission desynchronise because they catch you immediately? I tried that same spot (I THINK)

Edit: Never mind, wrong sequence. I was actually looking for that particular sequence haha because that's where I wanted to try the kills

Quick question on the MP. Once you make your choice for either Assassin or Abstergo, can you switch? There are too many Assassin nodes on the map, haha. =P I wanted to join Abstergo, but the damn touchscreen got me.

Not that it matters, I guess. I was just wondering. ^^

Glad to hear the multiplayer level cap is only 15. I hit level 10 this morning. It seems like you get the most experience by completing the challenges, so I've been going for as many of those as possible.

Challenges? Are those the economic missions? I'm still a little unclear about the rules for the MP. I'm just kind of fighting around the Great Lakes regions and not expanding much further than that yet. xD

The guide really needs more specifics. "Running around in De Bayou, you will most likely encounter random alligators" is absolutely no help at all. Create a map of their locations instead. Same thing goes with a lot of the other collectibles.

I'm actually busy doing that. You can only find collectables once, there's no replay. So I had to replay the entire game.

I took pictures of every statuette so far. Adding them soon.

Move through New Orleans for 10 minutes in the Assassin Persona

Simply walk around in New Orleans with the Assassin Persona for 10 minutes. You'll prefer doing most of the missions with this persona, so it should come naturally. I unlocked it during one of the first Acts, so it's near impossible to miss this one during the story.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1155/137.jpgDeadly Haystack (B)

Kill 50 enemies from haystacks using the Blowpipe

The blowpipe is the weapon both the Assassin and Slave Persona use to fire poisonous darts. This trophy requires you to murder 50 enemies with this weapon, while hiding in hay. You'll most likely have to grind this, so just find some haystacks in New Orleans and keep killing guards with the blowpipe.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1155/1D2.jpgUmbrella (B)

Kill 25 enemies with the Parasol Gun

As said earlier, this is the 'gun weapon' of the Lady Persona. You won't have this at the start of the game, so just complete missions until your associate, Blanc, introduces the weapon. From that point on, just kill 25 enemies with it. Note: it might time some time between shots, since the reload time is quite long. Don't forget this, or you'll be left wondering why you can't shoot again after the first shot.

See "Buy All Dressing Chambers"

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1155/AE4.jpgBuy All Dressing Chambers (B)

Buy every Dressing Chamber

Dressing Chambers will be introduced near the start of the game, and are found in New Orleans and De Bayou. Just buy all of them to get this trophy. Some of them will be locked until you complete every Business Rivals mission, so see "Business Woman" for this trophy as well. Each Dressing Chamber is 500 écu. Tailors and blacksmiths are not required, and serve as optional purchases.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1155/FC2.jpgThief (S)

Pickpocket 5000 écu

écu is the currency in Assassin's Creed III: Liberation. To pickpocket 5000 écu, you'll have to change things around compared to the console titels. In this handheld version, you have to target any NPC (:l1:) and then swipe the back touchscreen from top to bottom.

Easy tip:

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1155/215.jpgHangman (B)

Perform 10 predator moves using the Whip

The Whip is another weapon you will unlock later in the game, at Chichen Itza. At first, you might think the Predator move is simply pulling an enemy (:triangle:) to you, which triggers an assassination, but it's not. You'll have to climb to the roof of a building and simply 'pull enemies' on the ground with :triangle:. Doing this ten times awards the trophy.

Select Whip

http://www.abload.de/img/2012-10-31-144120xyqfn.jpg

Stand on the roof, target enemy and keep pressing :triangle: until he's dead

Collect all the mushrooms collectibles

See "Bayou Fever"

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1155/AC7.jpgPoison (S)

Use berserk poison to force an enemy to kill 5 enemies

To do this trophy, you'll require the berserk poison and a group of six enemies or more. You'll have to use the berserk dart on one enemy in the pack, and then wait while that one enemy finishes off five others (or more). This might fail on a group of just six if you're unlucky, so bigger groups are even better.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1155/096.jpgRHP Master (B)

Synchronize all viewpoints

Nothing new for the average Assassin player, just find the bird icons on your map, climb the designated building and synchronize (:circle:) on top. Viewpoints can be found in each of the three zones and cannot be missed. Their icons are always placed on the map as well, so you won't have to look for them.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1155/664.jpgBusiness Woman (S)

Complete every Business Rivals mission

Business Rival missions can be found by the crosshair icon on the map. Each mission usually involves murdering a business rival. They're the same difficulty as any other mission and also open up shops that were previously owned by rivals (tailor, blacksmith, dress chamber).

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1155/835.jpgPirates (S)

Complete every Pirates mission

Pirate mission can be started by finding captain Dominguez on the southern docks. His first mission will be reclaiming his ship documents. After completing his mission, you will start to find "crew" icons the map, which are also pirates missions. One of them is a speed track where you have to pass 11 markers under one minute, which might turn out difficult depending on your reaction. You can't be hit either, or you'll lose 100% synch. Since you will meet two guards on top, pick the Assassin Persona and shoot the first guard with your gun. The second guard proves to be more difficult (don't have time to reload gun), but it is possible to run fast enough and assassinate him before he shoots.

PS: Health seems to regenerate since the second guard shot me and I still completed it with 100% synch. I cannot confirm this works for sure, so I'll have to wait on more player response. Will keep this updated.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1155/3F2.jpgBayou Fever (S)

Complete every Bayou Fever mission

You'll have to start the De Bayou Fever sidequest, which the 'witch doctor' near the middle of the map will give you. (skull icon) After doing his small tutorial mission, you'll have to find mushrooms in De Bayou and help random strangers who have fever. Mushrooms are hidden all over the zone and can be seen by the white glow, the same glow as the statuettes, diary pages etc. To apply the mushroom, first knockout the patient and then press :circle:

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1155/0ED.jpgLiberation (S)

Complete every Free Slaves mission

Slave missions can be found by the fist icon on the world map. There should only be three of them and they're all easy enough to exclude any need of a walkthrough. Your stepmother will give you one (followup for the mainquest) and the two others can be found in New Orleans and De Bayou.

I just unlocked a new outfit for the assassin class (by collecting all the assassin coins) and I was wondering if there will be a dlc Connor outfit or something like that, not just in that mission of sequence 8.

Another question, what to do if there are some treasures on my map, but if I reach them, there is no sign of a treasure? I have like three or four of this kind. Sure of 2 in new orleans and one in the Bayou.

Ok, a few points:

a) Persona-specific collectibles are: coins for Assassins, Brooches for Lady and VOODOO DOLLS for Slaves. Collecting them all unlocks this trophy (I just got it)

b) The best place for 50 charms is just on the Pier with the two travel points. There are two soldiers there. Charm one, then charm the other. Alternate back and forth. That's how I unlocked the trophy.

c) I'm still not clear on how you use human shields. Have you gotten the trophy? (Haven't checked)

d) There are TWO Mayan statuettes, not one, in Sequence 4; one is in memory 5, down the cave after your canoe crashes, and memory 6, right in the water before the puzzle.

I'll add more notes but so far your guide seems good so I'll give up mine. ;P

Hey guys, any idea on good ways to get more money quickly? I'm like on sequence four and the four shot pistol just unlocked and it looks really great. However, its like 100,000 and I've only got about 20-30000 now. Any ideas on good ways to make money?

Spending everything on the economic minigame and then earning the profit can be quite good.

a) This is fixed. I was actually taking screenshots/editing OP while you noticed that :p

b) Added to guide

c) It should be exactly the same as Assassin's Creed III, where you have to push :cross: right before the fire to take a human shield. I've only once did this in the game and I'm pretty sure I used :cross:, it should be since every animation/skill has been used from AC III. There is but one strange thing about this trophy: There is not a single tutorial about the move and it rarely happens in-game. It's quite strange and it makes the trophy a fuzz to achieve.

d) Yeah, that's fixed. I've added a complete guide on every statuette. Not sure how I missed that one, since I've had it for some days now. (You'll notice an empty spot for that particular statuette in the collectibles guide)

Keep them coming ;)

Some of those Citizen E locations appear to be wrong. The one in the Bayou is in a wrecked ship which is visible on the map. There's also one in New Orleans who moves about and isn't stationary, not sure how big the area he runs in is but it's towards the top right of the map.

I walked to the location in the Bayou (on the map) and that was actually near the ship. (the first Bayou picture.). The second location didn't work for me , as I had two encounters in New Orleans (check Editor's note). Some people have three encounter in New orleans.

It is not missable. You can still do every Citizen E after the final mission and then get "The Truth".
