Jet Set Radio HD ~ Graffiti Souls Guide

Jet Ranking Text Guide

Jet Ranking Video Guide

Introduction:

Welcome to the colourful world of Jet Set Radio! Once an extremely popular Dreamcast game, well-known for its one-of-a-kind OST and gorgeous cell-shaded graphics. Beat and all the GG members return to PSN with HD-updated visuals and trophy support.

As many followers of the latest news on Jet Set Radio HD should know, this port of the Dreamcast classic has quite a disappointing trophy list. With only 9 trophies in total and over half of them being earned in simple story progression (whilst our friends on the Xbox 360 got 30 achievements), many might think of passing this one. However, if you’re a die-hard fan of SEGA classics and you’d like another shiny HD-port added to your library, Jet Set Radio still holds all the addictive rollerblading gameplay, massive levels to explore (and vandalism!), catchy, upbeat soundtrack and odd yet memorable characters we all know and love.

Walkthrough:

Step 1: Complete the tutorial

Before hopping into the Jet Set Radio storyline, the best course of action is to play the tutorial session available from the main menu first. It’ll help you to learn the ropes of the game, it only takes about 10-20 minutes (maybe more, depending on skill) and it’ll bag you your first trophy at the end. You may find the final lesson of the tutorial challenging; simply check out the respective trophy for all the details.

Upon completing Step 1, you will earn:

(B)

Training wheels

Step 2: Complete the game

Now that you should have the basic controls down, it's time for Story Mode. If you never played Jet Set Radio on Dreamcast, then we highly recommend you simply play the game without worrying about the Graffiti Souls or the Jet Rankings. Just complete the levels and get a feel for the areas and the game as a whole - the harder stuff comes later.

Upon completing Step 2, you will earn:

(B)

We got us a crew

(B)
First coat of paint

(S)
Second coat of paint

(G)
Paint the town red

You may also earn:

(B)

So creative

Step 3: Collect all Graffiti Souls

Now that you've completed the game, you can focus on collecting the Graffiti Souls. When you finish the game, the Story Mode levels will cycle through from the start again, though all Jet Graffiti, Jet Technique and Jet Crush levels will remain unlocked indefinitely. This is good for us, as in the Jet Technique levels, you have no threat from enemies and free reign over the entire sector, thus making your Graffiti Soul hunt considerably easier.

Play the respective Jet Technique level and collect all the Graffiti Souls available in the level - you can check which ones exactly you need by going to Graffiti in the Garage and reading the numbers of the Graffiti Souls. Do note that you won't get the "I got Soul" trophy during this step, as some Graffiti Souls are unlocked by unlocking characters, thus it will unlock upon getting your last character.

If you need help finding Graffiti Souls, please see our Graffiti Souls Guide.

Step 4: Complete all Story Mode levels with Jet Rankings

Now we're up to the hard part - earning Jet Ranking on every Story Mode level. This is required as four of the characters - Love Shocker, Poison Jam, Noise Tank and Goji Rokkaku - require specific Jet Rankings to unlock them. Luckily, you don't need to earn Jet Rankings on any of the optional Jet Crush, Jet Graffiti or Jet Technique levels. Jet Rankings carry across playthroughs, so you don't need to earn them all in one playthrough.

In order to attain a ranking of Jet, you must complete the level above a certain score threshold, which can generally be achieved by completing the level quickly, taking little damage and hitting several optional tags. Chances are you'll require multiple attempts to achieve a ranking of Jet on each level, which will mean multiple playthroughs, as each Story level can only be completed once per playthrough. Whilst frustrating, this is eased by the fact that the game is very short, so cycling around doesn't take long, especially once you've done it once or twice.

Alternatively, you can quit to the XMB from the result screen. All levels have a cinematic immediately after, and the game will not save until after cinematic, so you have plenty of time to quit the game and try again. Be careful if you plan to do this, as quitting while the game is saving could cause save corruption.

For more details and tips on how to achieve Jet Rankings, see our Jet Ranking Tips. Alternatively, you can use ShadowStrife's Jet Ranking Video Guide, which expands on our general tips with fantastic videos.

Upon completing Step 4, you will earn:

(B)

King of the street

(G)
I got Soul

Step 5: Unlock Pots

Lastly, there's unlocking Pots the Dog. This requires you to play up to the beginning of Chapter 3 after unlocking every other character to attain him. Read "The gangs all here" for more details.

Upon completing Step 5, you will earn:

(S)

The gangs all here

Unlock Gum and Tab

At the beginning of the game, Gum will appear and give you three challenges (all in good spirit of helping you learn the ropes of the game). After successfully completing these tasks, Gum will join your Crew. Immediately after, Tab will follow up with three more advanced challenges. Upon completing these, Tab will be available to play as and you will unlock the trophy.

Complete Tutorial

The tutorial is available as soon as you boot up the game and get you warmed up for the chapters to follow. It is highly recommended that you enter this mode as soon as you begin the game so that you won't feel alienated when you progress onto the actual story.

There are 21 short lessons in the tutorial; all are very simple however a select few can be quite confusing if you don't know what to do. Thankfully there's no time limit in the tutorial so you can practice a tried-and-tested method.

Lesson 22:
Find the green rails near the green and yellow-poster stands. Grind along them and jump before the end to land upon the bridge railings. Follow it for a second or two and then hop over to the left railings on top. About halfway along these railings jump back to the right railings, following the downwards railings but jumping before they go under the shelter. Take a sideways grind along the poster (do
not
touch the shelter roof or else the trick will end). Let Beat fall naturally off the poster and he’ll land on more green railings. Jump before the railings end and drag out the leap to land on even more green railings to your direct north. Follow these railings and jump to the poster close to your left, then jump again to the green railings to the north. The process then repeats and you’ll be brought back to where the paragraph first details. Keep repeating (two cycles should do) until you feel you hit 50 tricks. It will take practice but once you complete Lesson 21 the tutorial will end and you’ll earn the trophy.

In the spoiler is a comprehensive video of the whole Tutorial, as well as a video for just the 50-trick lessons. Credit to ShadowStrife for the video.

Create your own graffiti in all sizes

One of the options in Jet Set Radio is to create your own graffiti style. Once you have access to the Garage, you'll be able to choose an option called Graffiti. In here, you'll be able to create your own graffiti. Simply create anything for all three sizes and the trophy will unlock.

Collect all Graffiti Souls

Graffiti Souls are collectibles throughout the game; they are the symbol of Jet Set Radio, you should recognize it from the loading screens. There are 102 Graffiti Souls in total - which are acquired both by finding them scattered throughout the levels and unlocking respective characters - and it is strongly recommended you collect them on the Jet Technique levels, as you have free reign over the entire district you are playing in and cannot get chased by police or rivals, making it perfect to collect Souls. Do note that if you fail a mission (whether it be from dying, exiting or failing to meet the criteria), you will not receive any Graffiti Souls you earned during that level.

For a text guide of the locations of all 102 Graffiti Souls, see our Graffiti Souls Guide.

Alternatively, the below video shows the locations of all collectible Graffiti Souls. The video is of the Dreamcast version, but everything is still the same. Credit goes to Cackman for the video.

Unlock all characters

At the start of Jet Set Radio you’ll start with the default character, Beat, however as you progress you’ll unlock more and more members. We suggest taking the tough path of unlocking all characters during future playthroughs, whilst dedicating the first playthrough to just learning the ropes. Note that Jet Rankings carry across all your playthroughs on your respective file; Jet Rankings don't have to be earned all at once.

  • Gum: Gum will challenge you at the very beginning of Chapter 1. Complete three challenges to unlock her.
  • Tab: Right after unlocking Gum, Tab will challenge you. Complete threee challenges to unlock him.
  • Garam: Complete Monster of Kogane and Garam will challenge you. Complete three challenges to unlock him.

Jet Ranking Text Guide:

In order to unlock a few of the characters, along with two of the trophies, you'll need to get Jet Rankings on every Story Mode level in the game. In order to receive a Jet Ranking, you must score highly in the respective level, which is generally achieved by completing your goal as fast as possible while maintaining high health and scoring as many optional points as possible (either through tricking, or by tagging optional tags). Before we cover each type of level, we will cover a few basic tips that always apply:

Graffiti or Technique:
The biggest factor in achieving Jet Rankings (especially in later levels) is gaining big score bonuses from either hitting the optional green tags, or by chaining together some tricks for some big score bonuses. Because of this, you'll want to choose between either Graffiti characters or Technique characters, depending on what you would rather do. For Graffiti characters, Gum, Yo-Yo and Piranha are the best choices, as they all have advanced Graffiti skills, so will reward the greatest points for graffiti. For Technique characters, Tab and Mew are the best choices, as they both have advanced Technique skills, thus rewarding more points from tricks. If you find it hard to decide, I would recommend either using Gum or Mew, as they are both very good all-round characters.

Got time? Hit an infinite trick loop:
If you find yourself nearing the end of a level with quite a lot of time left, you may benefit greatly from hitting an infinite trick loop for a bit before finishing the level. These loops can rack up major points if done correctly, even to the point that they can outweigh bonus points from extra time. The best loops are around the Bus Terminal in
Shibuya-Cho
, around the catwalk in the Sewers in
Kogane-Cho
, around the Business District in
Benten-Cho
, and around the skate park (Bantam Street) or along the rooftops (Grind Square) in
Grind City
. For videos demonstrating these loops, please see
ShadowStrife's
.

Learn the levels and the tag locations:
Obviously you will want to know where tags are and how to get to them efficiently, as this knowledge can greatly help cut your time down. Using the map from the start menu can also help locate any tags you may not be entirely certain of. In the same vein, learn where the optional green tags are, as knowing their locations will aid you if you want to score some extra points in between the mandatory red tags.

Hit the Extra Large tags first:
The reason why this is recommended is because you certainly do not want to be tagging Extra Large tags at the latter stages of the levels when you have enemies chasing you. The less tags you've tagged, the less of a threat the enemies will be, therefore tagging these Extra Large tags will be far easier. Getting disrupted in the middle of an Extra Large tag is very taxing, as not only will you lose out on the massive points you get from the end of the tag, but you'll also lose time shaking off the enemies so that you can finish the tag.

Manage your Health and Spray Cans:
The higher your Health and Spray Can count at the end of a level, the greater point bonus you will recieve. Because of this, you will want to try and finish levels with as high Health and Spray Can count as possible. Picking up red Spray Cans will heal you, so don't neglect these if you are injured - but do be aware that these red cans will no replenish if you need them again. However don't go out of your way to maximise your Health and Spray Can count right at the end of a level if you have to sacrifice a substantial portion of time to maximise them. A low Health and Spray Can count with a faster time will reward higher bonus points than high Health and Spray Cans with a slow time.

Learn to dash indefinitely:
Holding
:r2:
will allow your character to dash for a few seconds, but it also has a short cooldown. You can actually overcome this cooldown by jumping before the dash finishes - jumping while dashing will keep you at the same speed, if not increase your speed. This is beneficial, as when you land, you can immediately use your dash again. The jump acts as a dash during the cooldown period, so you'll always maintain good speed if you use this technique.

Practice with Advanced Taggers:
In order to yield the highest scores, you'll want to be using characters with advanced Graffiti skills. This is because the points you receive from advanced tags is far greater than that of characters with average or basic Graffiti skills. Because of this, you'll want to learn how to perform the actions flawlessly, especially with the Extra Large Tags. Extra Large Tags have 7 stages, which with an Advanced Tagger can get quite hectic. Practice completing these without error to maximise your points.

Now that you know some general tips and techniques, we'll cover the score requirements for getting Jet Ranking on each level, the recommended characters for them, and some specific tips for the individual levels:

Shibuya-Cho:

Shibuya GG:

Jet Ranking Score:
32,500

Recommended characters:
Gum (Advanced Graffiti), Mew (Advanced Technique)

Walkthrough:
Shibuya GG is within the Bus Terminal, the same location as the Tutorial. When you begin, you'll want to tag the three large tags on the three buses first, as if you leave them until later, the police can disrupt you. With these three tagged, work around the few small tags on the lower area, all the while stocking up on spray cans.

Lastly, head up to the ledges via the truck in the corner of the area, or by jumping from the stairs. Once there, just tag the two large and one extra large tags. If you want, you can also tag Onishima's back for a bonus 500 points, but this shouldn't be too necessary.

Love Trap:

Jet Ranking Score:
40,000

Recommended characters:
Gum (Advanced Graffiti), Mew (Advanced Technique)

Walkthrough:
You'll start in the sewers below Park Street for this level. Work your way up to the playground area and stock up enough spray cans to tag the lone extra large tag at the end of the overpass, which is accessable by jumping from the slide in the playground. Tag this, then fully stock up from the playground again and head up to the overpass, but this time towards the two extra large tags on the opposite side of the highway. Wallride across the gap and tag these, so as to avoid confrontation with the riot squad later on.

With these tagged, head back to the playground and tag all six of the available tags in this area, before stocking up once more and heading down the street. Along the street, you'll find two large tags, with a single large and extra large tag around the corner. Tag the first two large tags on your way, then head around to the extra large tag. Don't worry about the riot squad, as they rarely come around the blockade to you. Tag the remaining tags.

Love Attack:

Jet Ranking Score:
30,000

Recommended characters:
Yo-Yo (Speed), Cube/Garam/Tab (Can Capacity)

Walkthrough:
Being a Rival Tag level, you'll want a character who can store 30 cans at once, or someone fast. Stock up 30 cans, then simply chase down the Love Shockers one by one and tag them down. Use the dash technique to keep up with them.

Explosion:

Jet Ranking Score:
70,000

Recommended characters:
Gum (Advanced Graffiti), Mew (Advanced Technique)

Walkthrough:
From the overpass, head to the playground and stock up on paint. Head back up to the overpass and get the first extra large green tag, then stock up again before returning to where you started to get the other two extra large green tags.

Next, return to the playground and hit all five green tags, then stock up and hit the two golden rhino statues on the stair rises, before heading down the road for the large tags. Before hitting the large tags, let the bombs go off so as to avoiding taking damage. With the two large tags done, head around the corner for the rigged extra large tag and the large green tag, then head straight to the Bus Terminal.

Hit the two green small tags in front of you, then hit the three large tags on the buses, taking caution as two of them are rigged with explosives. With those done, hit the two small tags on the taxis, then stock up and head up onto the ledge to hit two large tags and the three golden rhino statues.

With that area done, head into the sewers and then head towards Center Street, tagging all the green small tags along the sewers. Once in Centre Street, head down the side street to tag all the small tags, then head into the side alleys for the two extra large tags and the large tag, but take note of all the enemies around, as they can easily disrupt you.

Kogane-Cho:

The Monster of Kogane:

Jet Ranking Score:
30,000

Recommended characters:
Gum (Advanced Graffiti), Mew (Advanced Technique)

Walkthrough:
From the start, head up the stairs and along the wharf and through the houses, collecting all the cans as you progress. Head up to the top of the area where all the tags are and turn right as you get off the stairs. Ignore the first few small tags, hit the Poisom Jam member for his spray cans, then tag the extra large tag against the brick wall.

With that done, head back towards the stairs, tagging and the small ones as you go, then hit the large one before Onishima arrives. Lastly, head up to the other end of the topside, grinding the rails to collect more paint as you go, then tag the last tags. If you want, you can tag Onishima for an extra 500 points.

No. 540:

Jet Ranking Score:
30,000

Recommended characters:
Gum (Advanced Graffiti), Mew (Advanced Technique)

Walkthrough:
Ram straight into the Poison Jam in front of you, then tag his tag. Ignore the smaller ones for now and head straight down to the bottom and ram the lowest Poison Jam. Once again, ignore the tag and head up to the roof of the building where there are two extra large tags and another Poison Jam member. Ram the member, then tag both tags. The reason you ignored the tags before is after your second tag, the parachute squad come, thus scaring off the Poison Jam, so you'd miss out on potential tags.

With the extra tags done, jump off the roof and head into the abandoned factory. Tag up the 6 small tags, then stock up on spray cans in the half pipe. Head outside and tag the red large tag, then head over to the green large tag and get that. Then, wall ride and jump along and tag the three small tags before heading out of this area and tagging the two small tags along the wall. Stock up more paint from the cables above the building if need be, tagging the helicopters for 500 points each if you can, then tag the last four small tags along the upper walls.

Kogane Circus:

Jet Ranking Score:
30,000

Recommended characters:
Yo-Yo (Speed), Cube/Garam/Tab (Can Capacity)

Walkthrough:
Rival Tag again, easy. As always, high can capacity is recommended. Turn around from the start and grab a few cans, then head for the Poison Jams. Stick close with the dash technique and tag away, making sure to maximise your chances whenever they stop moving. Nothing much else to be said here, really.

Fight or Flight:

Jet Ranking Score:
65,000

Recommended characters:
Gum (Advanced Graffiti), Mew (Advanced Technique)

Walkthrough:
Okay, this is one of the hardest levels. Immediately stock up on spray cans and tag the first two small tags, then drop down to the street and head back towards where you started to find a green extra large tag. Tag it, then tag the three green tags along the path down, then turn right through the doors and into the sewers.

Stock up from the pipes, then sneak past the guards by jumping into the water to get access to the two extra large tags without alerting anyone. Tag these two, then work around all the red and green tags throughout the sewers, then head up towards the Factory Ruins. Inside the building you'll enter on your way, tag the six green tags before heading outside to tag the red and green tags outside. Stock up on top of this area, then tag anything you may've missed. If you can't get the two green extra large tags atop the building, don't worry about them - if you're an Advanced Tagger like Gum, you shouldn't need those points, trying to tag them among enemies takes too much time.

Head up to the top of this area and follow the path back to where you started the level. Head down through this area and tag everything you can, before smashing through the walls of the building next to the Golden Rhino statue to access the Residential Area. Tag around the whole upper area before getting the red tags atop the buildings. If you have 60,000 or more points, or less than 100 seconds, then just go for the red tags - there's nothing worse than getting over the required score and falling 5 seconds short of the last red tag.

Benten-Cho:

Benten Boogie:

Jet Ranking Score:
45,000

Recommended characters:
Gum (Advanced Graffiti), Mew (Advanced Technique)

Walkthrough:
You'll start on a roof in front of an s-bend grind. Grind it and jump to the extra large tag and knock the Noise Tank for some spray cans. Tag the extra large tag, then head along the roof for a few more cans before hitting the extra large tag on the ground. Head along the street hitting the small tags until you get to the large tag, tag that.

Continue along the street until you a small tag above a pipe, grind it and tag the tag before continuing to the roof. From the roof, grab the blue cans floating above the street and hit the four large tags that are in each corner of the centre building, before hitting the small and large tag on the little section next to two of the previous large tags. Done.

Graffiti High:

Jet Ranking Score:
30,000

Recommended characters:
Gum (Advanced Graffiti), Mew (Advanced Technique)

Walkthrough:
From the start, jump down to the tracks to collect some cans, then head back to the red container behind the opposite train with an extra large tag on it, hit that. Now head the direction you were originally going and you'll eventually come to a gate on the right side of the tracks, jump through them onto the cable, then along to the next cable to the extra large tag. Hit the Noise Tank and the tag, then turn left and jump to the large tag via the cable.

Hit the eight small tags around the plaza, then head up the makeshift truck jump and jump through the sign to head to the final area. Grind the rails for more paint, hitting the small tags as you go, then head for the extra large tag at the end of the area. Hit it, then tag the large tag behind you and the two small tags in the alley. Leave the alley and hit the large tag against the wall, then grind the rail and hit the last two small tags.

Noise Reduction:

Jet Ranking Score:
30,000

Recommended characters:
Yo-Yo (Speed), Cube/Garam/Tab (Can Capacity)

Walkthrough:
Garam or Tab will be preferrable for this level, due to them being able to store 30 cans at once. From the start, ignore the Noise Tanks and head right, around to the next stair rise. Head up it and stock up on paint, then head back around to the back of the Noise Tanks and start tagging. Chase them around and try maximise your tags when they are standing still waiting for you.

Benten Burning:

Jet Ranking Score:
55,000

Recommended characters:
Gum (Advanced Graffiti), Mew (Advanced Technique)

Walkthrough:
From where you begin, immediately stock up, then head onto the bridge connecting the areas and jump down to the train yard. Hit the extra large green tag on the red container, then head to the opposite corner of the train yard to hit the two small green tags. Head into the Genkijomae Plaza and tag all the small tags along the ground, before heading back to where you started to stock up on more paint.

Head back to the plaza, then grind along the cables to hit the extra large tag to the right, and the large tag on the far side, before grinding back along the cables to where you start the level. Stock up again, then hit the large and extra large tags at the end of the area - though be careful of the big Assassin guarding the extra large tag. Then, you'll want to head into the Business District and start tagging all the tags on the stair rises. Tag all the small and large tags, then head back to the start for more paint, before returning to the Business District to tag the extra large tag (by which point the big Assassin will have moved, so he won't stop you from tagging).

Finally, head to Chinatown and work through the area, hitting the ground-level tags first, before heading onto the rooftops for the last tags.

Behind the Mask:

Jet Ranking Score:
29,000

Recommended characters:
Yo-Yo (Speed), Cube/Garam/Tab (Can Capacity)

Walkthrough:
The last of the Rival Tag levels, simply follow the same strategies as before. Stock up on spray cans (there are blue cans atop some of the buildings, plus a pile of yellow cans in the corner of the map behind a truck), then follow the Poison Jam members one by one. Try tag them when they stop to wait for you, as this is the easiest opportunity to tag them rapidly.

Grind City:

Tag or Die:

Jet Ranking Score:
40,000

Recommended characters:
Gum (Advanced Graffiti), Mew (Advanced Technique)

Walkthrough:
If this is your first playthrough, I recommend using Cube for her high can capacity and average graffiti skills, otherwise one of the above recommended characters is more suited. Start by jumping to and wall riding the sign in front of you to hit the small tag against the wall, then head back up the stairs. Hit the extra large tag, then jump along the rooftops hitting the few large tags.

With them, stock up and head across the train tracks to the two large and the one extra large tags. Tag the extra large first, so you don't have to deal with it when Assassin #5 is around. Head to the two aforementioned large tags, then stock up on the original rooftops again. Then, head onto the train tracks and tag the extra large tag - you needn't worry about Assassin #5, as he can't get you here. Then head down to the street and tag the two large tags, stocking up on the red cans if you've been injured, then head around to the skatepark. Stock up one last time, then hit all the remaining small tags by wall riding the respective walls and jumping high enough to hit the tags. Voila. Another Jet.

Rock 'n Roll Grind:

Jet Ranking Score:
50,000

Recommended characters:
Gum (Advanced Graffiti), Cube (Can Capacity + Average Graffiti)

Walkthrough:
If this is your first playthrough, I recommend using Cube for her high can capacity and average graffiti skills, otherwise one of the above recommended characters is more suited. Start by heading to the elevator on the right, then grind the rail and hit the three golden rhino statues, before jumping the gap to the next golden rhino statue with a large tag. Hit that, then grind one of the red and white pipes down and jump to the centrepiece with two small tags. Hit them both, stock up with the blue cans, then dash and grind back the way you came and jump off the grind towards the red and white pipe you originally left, heading up to the extra large tag. Hit it, then jump down to the street and hit the large tag to the left of where you begin, before heading up the left elevator.

Hit the golden rhino statues, then get a run up and grind the rail next to jump, jumping to the small tag opposite them. Hit it, then grind along the rail and jump off to the building next to it. From there, head along the cable connecting the two buildings to hit the first helicopter, then head back to ground level and ride the right-hand elevator.

Once atop the other building, head up to hit the large tag near the three golden rhino statues from the start, then head back towards the elevator and grind along the cable connecting to the far building, hitting the second helicopter along the way. Now, just jump off the cable and hit the last two extra large tags.

Just downloaded today and so glad to see the guide is here and I have to say it's very well presented! Although can I ask, where the scores to earn Jet rankings are, is that score needed based on points alone, or after points have been added to the remaining time left? Do we know how much points each second left on the clock awards us?

Looks quite tough to be honest, as it will be a memory game, remembering the best routes and such for the Jet ranking, and the fact some levels take up to 10 minutes +

Still, this guide will definitely help get 100% on this game.

Not completely sure of how much seconds would add to your total score, but one second wouldn't really equate to a lot, whilst lots of spare time could add up generously.

It can be tough but at the bottom of the guide we list brief explanations of the fastest routes to your Jet rank :)

Hope it helps! :D

Ah. Finally, I was starting to think I was gonna have to write a guide for this myself :p

Just kidding, guide looks guys :applause:

I finished up the story levels last night so the graffiti souls and jet ranking guides are gonna come in really handy. I was planning to use some old text guides from the Dreamcast version, but now I don't have to.

Thanks for the hard work.

One thing I was wondering about, do Jet rankings carry over like the unlocked characters when you start a new game? I'll use Kogane-Cho as an example. Say I get a Jet ranking on the 3rd and 4th levels on my first playthrough, if I get Jet on the 1st and 2nd levels on my second playthrough will the character unlock? Or do I need to get Jet on all 4 levels in a single playthrough to unlock the Poison Jam character?

Jet Rankings carry across, yes. If they didn't it wouldn't be possible to unlock Pots, as he requires all Jet Rankings and playing up to the beginning of Chapter 3 :p I thought it was mentioned that they carry across? If not, I'll mention it.

Ok cool, thanks for the quick reply. I don't think I saw in mentioned in step 4 of the roadmap or in The Gangs All Here descriptions, but it's always possible I just missed it.

Yeah I just edited it into the road map, MsFuruba will probably make a note in "The gangs all here" when she's next online.

Sure is. I couldn't stop until the platinum popped... And even then, I wanted to keep going! ^^

As do I, indeed it truly lives up to its legendary predecessor ;)

Something else..

There are 22 lessons, not 21. 19 should be 30 tricks in a row and thus push the rest down 1.

Yeah I let MsFuruba know about that, and gave her your Tutorial video. She's currently out of town so can't fix those until she returns, unfortunately.
