Introduction:

Congratulations! It is your 18th birthday! You’re captain of the cheerleading squad, you have an awesome family, and a boyfriend who means the world to you. Oh, and one more thing. You’re a zombie hunter. So when zombies attack your city, you and your zombie hunting family know exactly what to do. Mow them all down.

 

Step One:

Play through the campaign on normal. Don’t worry too much about any of the trophies, just collect the story related ones and perhaps a couple of others along the way. By the end of this step you should have:

Step Two:

Mop up. You will likely already have many of these trophies, but go collect the rest. I strongly suggest doing this in ranked mode so that you can get International Zombie Hunter faster. You will also need to do this in hard mode so that you can find all of the lollipop wrappers. This step will give you most of the trophies for the game. By the end you should have:

Step Three:

Go back and play through all the stages in ranked (press on the map) if you didn’t do it while doing step two. This is exclusively for International Zombie Hunter.

 

Step Four:

Play through all the stages one final time, beating Dad’s score on each of them. This will give you the seven zombie hunter trophies. You will likely already have several of these from your earlier playthroughs. Refer to Master Zombie Hunter for tips. This step will give you:

Defeat Hazmat in Prologue.

 

Story related, cannot be missed.

 

[spoiler=00001]Three zombies in Hazmat suits will attack you just after you’ve defeated “George”, during the prologue. One of them will pick up an explosive object, which he will throw at you at some point during the fight. Be careful, it does a lot of damage. Once you defeat all three zombies, you will get this trophy.

Defeated Zed.

[spoiler=00002]Zed is the boss of the Act 1, you will know when you have entered his domain, and you will fight him when you reach the stage. He fights in three stages. First, he will dash around the arena extremely quickly, and then he will come in for an attack on you, after which he can be damaged. In his second stage he will stand on speakers. To get him off the speakers, you will have to destroy all of the speakers, while occasionally hitting him so he doesn’t refresh them. Once you have gotten him back to the floor, he will revert to his first stage, but with a new move set. Again, damage him after he attacks, and it should be a fairly easy fight.

Defeated Vikke.

 

Story related, cannot be missed.

 

[spoiler=00003]Vikke is the boss of Act 2. He is extremely simple to beat, though you will have to dodge a lot. He attacks fast and often, but he is fairly simple to damage in all of his stages. In his first stage just attack him from the back and dodge often and you will have no issues. If he flies up to his perch, shoot him down with . After you cut him in half, you will have to fight his upper and lower body as separate enemies. Kill his upper body, killing the lower body won’t finish the fight. His third form you fight his giant head. Dodge a LOT, and attack him when he stops moving. Using your Chainsaw Blaster will be extremely useful for this stage, bullets can be found around the edge of the ship. Once you have defeated the head, you will receive this trophy.

Defeated Mariska.

 

Story related, cannot be missed.

 

[spoiler=00004]Mariska is the boss of Act 3. She is fairly easy actually. Simply unload your Chainsaw Blaster on her first body. On her second body, shoot one of her bodies, then shoot it as it teleports to one of the machines. Once you have defeated all four bodies, she will split into 8. Simply shoot all of them in the middle while keeping on the move. Once you have destroyed all 8 and cut her in half, you will receive this trophy.

Defeated Josey.

 

Story related, cannot be missed.

 

[spoiler=00005]Josey is the boss of Act 4. He is in two stages. During the first, he will flying around on a UFO inside the disco. Simply keep moving and hitting him until he flies up and starts dropping bombs. Then climb the stairs and shoot him until the staircase disappears. Climb the next staircase and repeat. His second form you are on a much larger UFO. Simply destroy all the objects on it and then go attack him to kill him. Once you have cut him in half you will get this trophy.

Defeated Lewis LEGEND.

 

Story related, cannot be missed.

 

[spoiler=00006]Lewis is the boss of Act 5. He is in 3 parts as well. For his first stage, simply strafe and dodge a lot, then hit him when he enters the arena and drives around on his motorcycle. Once you have defeated that stage, the next one he will ride a giant elephant which will stomp around. Again, just avoid the attacks and hit him when he stops moving. The final stage has the same strategy, but you will have to dodge a lot as it shoots out many missiles and landmines. Just keep dodging and attacking and he shouldn’t be too hard though.

Defeated Killabilly.

 

Story related, cannot be missed.

 

[spoiler=00007]Killabilly is the boss of Act 6. He is in 3 stages. The first stage consists of you being in his hand. Shoot his eyes to advance, use left and right to stab his hand and move it to the same direction, dodging the bodies he spews out of his mouth at you. After this stage, there is a stage where you are on the ground and fighting against him by attacking his hands whenever they touch down. Just keep attacking his hands and dodging the explosive cars and zombies, and you should have no problems. There will be a fairly lengthy quick time event to progress to the next stage. The third stage you are inside Killabilly. You will need to succeed in a quick time event to progress. After the cutscene, Killabilly will be defeated, and you will get this trophy.

Leapfrogged 10 times in a row.

 

To get this trophy you will have to leapfrog 10 times in a row without attacking or using other dodges in between. The easiest way to do this is to get a zombie alone and simply jump back and forth over its head. It will take a few times to get up to 10 without screwing up, but just keep trying, it only took me around a minute to get, it shouldn’t take much longer than that.

Use the right analog stick to direct the camera up under Juliet’s skirt. You will know you are in the right spot when she blocks her rear with her hand. Simply keep the camera in place, she won’t move her hand, but the trophy will pop up after a bit.

Using the Chainsaw Blaster (), shoot 30 zombies in the head for this trophy. To make this much easier, go into the menu and change the chainsaw blaster aiming from auto to manual.

Succeed in 7 zombie Sparkle Hunting.

 

Kill 7 zombies at the same time using your chainsaw for this trophy. Personally, I got this during Act 3, in the area with all the barrels, where you are attacked by 32 zombies. Use a spin combo of some sort in the middle of them and it should take out 7 if you are lucky.

Kissed Nick 100 times.

 

Each time you use one of Nick’s abilities, by clicking and successfully hitting an ability, you will kiss Nick at least once. Use enough abilities to kiss him 100 times and this trophy will pop. You can buy Nick Tickets from the shop for 30 coins each.

Drop kicks are done by jumping (), then kicking (). Hit 51 zombies with drop kicks and the trophy is yours.

Registered in world leaderboards for all stages.

 

Simply play one ranked game (Accessed by hitting on the map) on each stage. This can be done on any difficulty except easy. You will have three options of which type of ranked game you would like to enter, do whichever you'd like, it doesn't make a difference to the gameplay. You don't need to rank any particular position, just upload once, so take your time. If you die, you will have to redo the entire stage. You also cannot shop in ranked mode, and your coins will not carry over after you exit.

Simply kill 3,000 zombies. You will have to farm certain stages to do this. The stage I recommend farming is Act 3, because of the part where you mow over the zombies in the columbine. Another easy place to farm this is Act 4, while you are in one of the video games. At one point, you have to jump on four zombie’s heads to reach the other side. However, if you fail, they will spawn indefinitely. It is only four, but there is no loading time, so it is fairly fast, and lots of zombie medals.

You get zombie medals for killing zombies, doing combos, and destroying the environment. Collect 10,000 to get this trophy. You should be close to this trophy by the end of the campaign, you should be able to easily pick it up while you are going back and getting all of the collectables.

Rescued All Classmates.

 

Rescue all of your classmates in every Act. If you miss one, simply go back to the Act and retry after. A good strategy to keep the classmates safe is to run straight towards the classmate and hit all the zombies around them. The zombies will then be agrod onto you, even though you are standing right beside the classmate. If you are still having difficulties, lower the difficulty and try again, the zombies do less damage to the classmates as well on easy mode. Note that to save them you have to walk up to them after all the zombies in the area have been defeated. If they don't give you coins and disappear, they aren't technically saved.

To complete the zombie album, you will have to fight against every type of zombie in the game. Some zombies only appear on certain difficulties, so you will need to complete the game on Hard mode at the least to unlock all zombies.

Music is unlocked as you progress through the game. Some of the music is unlocked by beating dad's scores, simply play until all the music is available in the shop, and then purchase it all with platinum coins.

Dodge and Counter Zed’s Electric Balls 15 times.

 

You will get this while fighting Zed at the end of act two. While he is in his third stage, he has one attack during which you are prompted to press to dodge. You will need to dodge that attack 15 times to get this trophy. Personally, I only had to dodge it three or four times on my first runthrough, because Zed died so quickly, so you will have to drag out the fight quite a bit to get this trophy. Simply avoid hitting Zed in his third stage until you get the trophy.

Earned while fighting Vikke in Act 2. During his second form, he will be attacking in two pieces, his upper and lower body. Go near the edge of the ship and let his lower body attack you, it will eventually kick you off the ship. You will grab onto the edge, then you will be prompted to mash . Once you get back on the ship, you will receive this trophy.

Dodge all balloon attacks in Mariska battle.

 

During the battle with Mariska in Act 3, simple dodge all of the balloon attacks she shoots at you. If you manage to avoid being trapped even once, you will receive this trophy when you defeat her.

Funk Josey in the last 10 seconds.

 

While you are fighting Josey at the end of Act 4. His second body gives you a 2.5 minute timer on defeating it. Simply destroy all but one of the objects, and leave the last one at low health. When the clock gets to around 20 seconds, destroy it, then go cut Josey in half. The timer will keep running as you saw him in half, just make sure it is under 10 seconds when you finish him.

Counter Lewis’ attack 10 times.

 

During the fight against Lewis at the end of Act 5. You can counter his first stage the easiest, simply keep dodging while he is circling the arena, then stand in his way when he drives at you. A quick time event will occur, and you will counter him. Do this 10 times for the trophy. You will have to prolong the fight for quite a while to get this trophy.

During the Killabilly fight at the end of Act 6. During his second stage, you will be attacking his hands. Each time you attack a finger, it will fall off. Simply space out your attacks across the hand and this won’t be an issue.

Rescued all classmates in Prologue.

 

Simply rescue the three classmates during the Prologue. The first two are extremely easy to rescue, as they cannot be damaged. The third one can be attacked by the zombies, but has extremely high health, so it will be difficult for him to die. Once he has been picked up by the chopper, you will get this trophy.

Destroyed 300 objects in the game.

 

Simply destroy all the objects you come across. I managed to get this as I was fighting Zed in the second act, you can get it extremely early on. If you complete the game without getting this trophy, just go fight Zed again, every one of his speakers in his second form counts towards this trophy. Just keep attacking the speakers and he will keep regenerating them if you don't attack him.

In one of the video games in Act 4, you will be controlling a gondola. The goal is to get to the top while avoiding the obstacles that would knock you off. You can shoot with , but for this achievement, you will have to reach the top without shooting at all. This is extremely difficult and will take a very long time.

You will have to beat your father's score. You will be judged on the following:

 

- Zombie Medals Collected

- Platinum Medals Collected

- Sparkle Hunting Combos

- Completion Time

- Continues Used

 

Beating Dad's score really isn’t too difficult on any of the stages when you go back and do it with all your boosts and combos, knowing where you are going. I accidentally got one of these on my first run through (I even had to continue once during that stage too), so they really aren’t very difficult. Just concentrate on getting Sparkle combos, that will be the easiest way to beat your father’s score. The Chainsaw Blaster is extremely effective at this.

 

If you are still having trouble beating Dad's score, try entering ranked mode. You can get bonuses based on various things such as not being hit, getting a certain number of sparkle hunting decapitates, rescuing classmates, etc.

 

Bonuses available:

Section one:

- Sparkle Hunting Six Decapitations

- No Overheating Experienced

- All Flying Cars Dodged

- All Jumping Boards Completed

- All Killabilly Lasers Dodged

This section will end just before you start the Killabilly fight.

 

Section two:

This section will end after Killabilly’s second stage.

Some information: I just unlocked Gunn Struck while fighting Vikke for the third time (unlocked after I was hit by his ax), and have only been hit by one lighting bolt during my three runs through this level. He has also not hit me ten times in this one fight. It seems this trophy can be unlocked simply by taking his hits over the course of multiple runs through his level.

Try playing Stage 3 again. It's the one when you're on the farm and will carry the Chainsaw Blaster the whole stage. Also, set go into your Options and change "Blaster Aim" to manual. It makes it a lot easier to get headshots instead of it auto aiming it to their chest.

For the Collect all the BGM trophy, do I need to play on Very Hard or Ranking to have them unlock in the shop? I've already beat the game on Hard.

You get more music (I believe the ninth track for each genre) by beating Dad's score on each stage. That could be what you're missing.
