is there a stat screen that tells you where you are missing stuff (not played this in years & cant remember)

Yes. Just click :start: at any time. I can't remember which button corresponds to each, but :cross:, :square:, and :triangle: all bring up a different menu for precursor orbs, power cells, and scout flies. You can then cycle through by region.

Do you still have a trophy or are you missing something?

No I have all the trophies, but that 99% is very annoying =\ Oh and I'm talking about 99% that is displayed when you start the disk and choose which of 3 games to play - not the percentage in the trophy list. Just thought I should elaborate on that =)

Cheers for putting the guide together and linking to a guide on locating orbs.

I'm missing one orb from the snow area, incredible annoying to try and find.

A common place to miss orbs in the snow area -- where the steel boxes used to be (check a youtube video -- not too far from the entrance past the giant sowballs I think). They get buried in the snow so you have to twirl around that area.

Hey I'm up to the volcanic crater now and I am wondering... Someone (pretty sure it was on the interwebs) told me not to go too far into the game because "there is a point of no return" meaning I'd miss all the collecting trophies if I went too far and I would be unable to get them and would need to restart my game! Is this true?

Just I am working on Spider's Cave ATM but not really enjoying it, so was thinking I could go on and return to it later...

Without spoiling too much: You will meet all three sages in the final level and need to climb to the very top and press a button for an elevator. That's the point of no return, after that the final boss fight starts.

Best moment to wrap everything up is after the third Zoomer sequence and before the last level (IIRC it's called the Citadel), because there's a portal to the sages' huts.

WTF?

Haven't played the collection yet, but on the PS2 version at least you can return to any level you want and collect stuff, even after the last boss.
