  1. What is Playstation Plus? Playstation Plus (PS+) is a paid subscription service available through the Playstation Network. PS+ features include: The Instant Game Collection for PS4, PS3 and PS Vita Discounts on games and DLC only available to PS+ members 1 GB of cloud storage for game saves (including locked saves) Automatic trophy sync, cloud save sync, and game patch installation 1-hour Full Game Trials, allowing you to try more of the game than is available in most demos Exclusive beta and demo access Exclusive avatars and themes PlayStation Plus is required to access online multiplayer on the PS4. One subscription works across all three systems (PS4, PS3 and Vita). There are currently three PS+ regions: Europe, North America, and Asia. Each region receives different content for free and discounted games. (Australia and the Middle East are considered part of the EU region.) According to Sony, this is due to licensing issues in the different regions. If you want the games the other region has, you can create an account for that region (details below.) The Instant Game Collection (IGC) The IGC is the core of PS+ for many gamers. Every month, 14-18 full retail or PSN games will be available to download for free: 12 for PS3 and 6 for PS Vita (US) or 10 for PS3 and 4 for PS Vita (EU). These games will be available to play as long as you remain a PS+ member. Each month, some games will be removed and new games will be added. With the release of the PS4, the number of games in the IGC (as well as the ratio of games for each system) will likely be adjusted. In the US, 2 free PS+ games were available for PS4 at launch: Contrast and Resogun. Drive Club will be available once it is released. Sony will no doubt be making more PS4 game announcements in the weeks/months to come. How much does Playstation Plus cost? US: 3 months for $17.99, 1 year for $49.99 EU: 3 months for £11.99/14,99 €, 1 year for £39.99/49,99 € Asia: 30 days for SG $6.99, 1 year for SG $42.99; check your country for other currency Where can I check to see what's currently available in the IGC? US: http://us.playstation.com/psn/playstation-plus/ Europe: http://uk.playstation.com/playstationplus/ Asia: http://asia.playstation.com/sg/en/psn/p/plus The PS3Trophies.org main site also lists the Playstation Store weekly updates, including PS+ content, in the Latest News section. Store updates, upcoming PS+ content, and more can also be found on the Playstation Blog: US Playstation Blog | Europe Playstation Blog. You can also visit the Sony Entertainment Network Store on PC.
  2. RemingtonInk's EU List - Archived June 2012 to April 2015 http://i38.photobucket.com/albums/e114/hungherk/psplusamerican_zpsb1fb5e9b.jpg LIST OF (NA) PLAYSTATION PLUS / IGC FREE GAMES ARCHIVAL QUICK LINKS: 2010-2011 / 2012 / 2013 / 2014 / 2015 Below is a list comprised of the free games (PS3, Vita & PS4) that the North American (NA) and European (EU) Playstation has dished out since the merger of the Instant Game Collection (IGC) in September 2014. Anything listed prior to September 2014 will be for the North American region only, please check out the archival European list, via the link at the top of the page, for the games listed prior to September 2014 also. Please let me know (via reply or PM) if you notice any errors and I will correct them as soon as possible. Last thread update: February 24th, 2016 LEGEND: BLUE = Platinum PURPLE = Platinum & DLC Trophies BLACK = Has Trophies but no Platinum and/or DLC trophies (eg: PSN Games) Green = DLC Trophies BROWN = No Trophies GREY = No Trophy Info * The names are clickable and will redirect you to the appropriate PST guide (if available). * The numbers before the name represent the games Platinum/100% difficulty rating, courtesy of zomfgstfu's threads: PS4, PS3 & Vita * Red Colored Numbers mean the Platinum/100% is unachievable. eg: 4.08 - Guardians of Middle Earth (February 2013) * Underlined numbers mean the rating wasn't available in zomfgstfu's threads, instead its been obtained from the appropriate difficulty thread or games trophy guide. eg: 8.97 - Zen Pinball (September 2010) Thanks to all of the PST.org staff for the http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/images/awards/th_athreadaward32jpg.png award!
  3. Do you need PS+ to play Kill Strain? Thought most free apps let you play multiplayer for free, so I downloaded it a while ago and intended to have a go ... When trying to enter into Kill Strain for the first time today, it went into a constant loop with the black generic PS screen and wouldn't let me in. Well if the answer's no, at least I didn't have a 0% recorded next to my trophies for this game . Seems to work again after 3 days of not working. Servers must be dodgy, which is common amongst many F2P games.
  4. I haven't played this game in about half a year, and I just tried to boot it up and it is now asking for me to pay for the game again even though it is already on my HDD. I believe I got it free on PS+ a year or so ago, and my PS+ subscription is still running, so I really have no idea why I have to pay again ? Anyone know what's changed?
  5. Hi, My subscription of ps plus ran out today but when I've checked quite a few of the games I had getting for free and not just discounted have no expiry date and it still allows me to play but the ones with expired dates can't be accessed. I'm not complaining just wanted to know if anyone else has noticed this?
  6. Guys, i've inputted the exact numbers to redeem my free trial but it keeps saying it doesn't recognise it? . I've even tried IGNs free trial code & that doesn't work either. I have my billing information stored so why could this be? I just want to play GOW1 before Ascension, is that too much to ask lol . Any advice would be appreciated.
  7. Souces of information. This thread PlayStation® Plus - PlayStation.com PlayStation Plus; Check Out What It’s All About – PlayStation.Blog.Europe What happens when PlayStation Plus games expire? -- Joystiq Hello, PlayStation fans! We’re excited to announce that this week PlayStation Plus celebrates its first birthday! Over the past year, we’ve given PlayStation Plus subscribers access to a number of great deals, including free games, huge discounts, full game trials, early beta access as well as additional exclusive features like online game saves and automatic downloads. http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5072/5878832582_ff4f5d7b35.jpg To celebrate, for a limited time, we’re offering “Birthday Bonus Months” for PlayStation Plus. Starting today, lasting through July 11th, when you purchase a PlayStation Plus 1-year package, you’ll get 3 additional months, and gamers who sign up for the 3 month package get 1 additional month. That’s 15 months for the price of 12 (just over $3 per month) or 4 months for the price of 3 (less than $5 per month). There’s no better time to sign up for PlayStation Plus and take advantage of these birthday savings! So just what are the benefits that PlayStation Plus subscribers have gained that you won’t want to miss out on? In its first year alone, PlayStation Plus has offered access to: More than 50 Free Games Over 100 Free DLC Items (Add-ons, Avatars, Themes) 170+ Discounts Over 100 Exclusives and Early Access items $800+ in Savings It’s hard to believe it’s been a year since we launched the program, providing subscribers with offers like the full PSN game WipEout HD, a number of PSP minis and PS One Classics, such as Age of Zombies, and more recently, the highly anticipated early demo of Mortal Kombat. Subscribers can also get early access today into the multiplayer beta for Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception. Thanks again for all of your feedback and dedication to the program. Here’s to more birthday celebrations as we continue to evolve the service for users to expand and enhance their gaming experience! Enjoy! http://blog.us.playstation.com/2011/...-months-offer/ PlayStation Plus; Check Out What It’s All About Games: As a member you can expect to get your hands on at least four games a month at no extra charge. Each month there will be a selection of one PSN game, two minis and one PS one classics available on PlayStation Store for you to download. You also get premium avatars and dynamic themes each month, many of which are exclusive to members. Talking of exclusive, there will also be discounts available on loads of PlayStation Store content, just for members, so make the most of them as these will change each month as well. Finally, wherever possible we’ll be making sure that members are included in some selected demos and beta trials before they go live to the public so you can be the one to tell all your mates about the next big game they ‘must’ get. Just the games, avatars and themes alone are worth at least £200* per year, so even before the other benefits, this service is great value for money Full Game Trial: This premium feature gives you the chance to try PSN and Blu-ray disc titles before you buy them in a whole new way. We are not talking normal demos of selected parts of a game here. With Full Game Trial, you can download the full game and play it as if you owned it for approximately one hour, depending on the game, before you decide if you want to buy it or not. So you can check out the online modes, play against friends or anything else you’d normally do with a game. The other great thing is that your progress and trophies from the trial will all be unlocked if you buy the game so no need to go back and start again. Automatic Download: We wanted to offer members the speediest service possible so sign up and you can set your PS3 to automatically receive the latest game updates for all the games you play, PS3 system software updates and even have game demos sent directly to your PS3 without lifting a finger. Just set the time you want to receive them and your PS3 will automatically wake up and download everything, ready for when you next want to play. No more waiting to play your favorite game because there is a new patch or having to remember when the latest system software is launching, let your PS3 do the work. Details of this great new service, including a list of content available for the first 2 months will be on playstationplus.com between now and the 29th, but don’t forget to get on the Store and sign up before the 3rd August to get the added bonus of a free copy of LittleBigPlanet. It would be great ho hear what you guys think of this new service and I’ll be back one here on Wednesday morning to try and answer any questions you have. http://webassets.scea.com/e3communityassets/ps_promobox2.png For some places around the world. 9. So I am a Plus member, so I use the online storage to back up save/game files and whatnot on the Vita. Recently though, I see that I'm not able to back up files from all the games on my Vita. Does anyone have an idea why that is? Didn't seem to have trouble before And it's definitely not a problem of not having enough space...

  12. Wow I'm surprised how gd this recent ps plus freebie is! I never gave it a chance on ps3 but i've already sank a few hours in on ps4. Thats the beauty of ps plus giving us free treats like this, Resogun & Outlast. Considerin PS4's scarcity of games atm I'm very grateful for Dead Nations Diablo zombie sexual goodness! .
