Finding all collectibles will earn you the PULITZER and EDUCATED trophies. The Documents can be picked up like normal collectibles. The notes are obtained by filming certain events or objects with your camcorder. You have to collect everything in one playthrough to unlock the trophy! Your statistics will reset when you use chapter select or start a new game. Missing a collectible means you won't get the trophy. As a precaution you should create new save games regularly. You can have up to 50 save games. That allows you to go back if you have indeed missed something. You can see exactly which collectibles you have found by pressing the / buttons. Navigation Advice: Use to start the video at the point you want. After the dark room you need to go through a corridor. At the end of the library is a dying soldier on a stick. After you stand up there is a desk and some corpses in front of you. There's a well-lit chamber in the corner of the room. This time you wake up in a padded room. There's a guy in a straitjacket. There's a guy looking at a bloody wall. You will need to climb out the window to get around them. Once you reach the other side, jump through the broken window of the office room in front of you. On your way to the key you will go down a very dark, long hallway and on the left you can see the big monster guy killing another inmate. This room has two prison cells in it and the document is on a desk near the door. http://www.powerpyx.com/Screenshots/outlast/17.jpg After escaping the big monster guy, you will come to a large, well-lit room with many prison cells. Number of missable trophies: 2 (EDUCATED & PULITZER) Glitched trophies: 0 Does difficulty affect trophies?:Yes, Insane mode needed for LUNATIC Do cheat codes disable trophies?: No Cheats Whistleblower DLC guide Outlast is a survival horror game where you play as a journalist by the name of Miles Upshur. He is off to investigate the Mount Massive Asylum. The game equips you with a single camcorder that you use to help investigate what is happening in the Asylum. The camcorder also helps navigate dark places with the use of the camera's night vision mode. It's technically possible to get 100% in a single playthrough but you will need to play the game on Insane difficulty, a new game mode exclusive to the PS4 version. Just because it's unlocked from the beginning doesn't mean you should jump right into this mode because it's perma-death and when you die you'll start at the beginning. This guide will be setup for a two playthrough run as it will make it much easier on you to get the 5 story related trophies, 2 collectible trophies and a single trophy for playing on the hardest difficulty. It's also worth noting that the two trophies related to the collectibles are missable and you will need to start a new game if you miss one. There's a video playlist of all of them here - Step 1 - Play on normal and get all collectibles Start a new game on normal. Normal will give you plenty of extra batteries that will help you navigate the dark areas. During this run, you will want to find all of the collectibles. If you miss one, you will need to start a new game. The collectible trophies are missable, but you can mitigate the necessity to replay the entire game by creating manual saves throughout, so in the event you do miss one, you can start from a previous save point and continue onwards from that point. See PULITZER for more info regarding those. Use this run to become familiar with the game, locations and the variants (enemies) as you will need to use what learn here for the next step. You will have earned during this step the following trophies: (B)ILLUMINATED (B)FLUSHED (B)SOAKED (B)EMANCIPATED (S)PUNISHED (S)EDUCATED (S)PULITZER Step 1.5 (optional) - The key to get the final trophy as described in the next step is knowing the game inside and out. For this reason, I highly recommend practicing all of the difficult sections on Nightmare difficulty. This is the same difficulty as insane but gives you checkpoints and saves. The best way to practice these sections are outlined in the LUNATIC description. Step 2 - Play the game on Insane difficulty Insane mode is the hardest difficulty. The difference between this and normal is that you will only be allowed to carry 2 extra batteries with fewer batteries lying around the Asylum. Enemies will react to noise sooner and they move faster. The biggest challenge in this trophy is that there are no checkpoints and you can't save. This will mean that you will have to beat the game in a single sitting without dying. Death will mean that you respawn at the beginning of the game. You can pause if you need a break but you can't exit the game. Before attempting the Insane mode, I highly recommend practicing some of the trickier parts on Nightmare difficulty where you can utilize saves and checkpoints.   3. I have been reading a lot of Trophy Guides & Roadmaps and more and more members are writing them with Black color. I think thats AWESOME, here is why 1. Easier to read 2. Better looking 3. Stands out more Also i think that Trophy Guides in general should only consist of 3 (maybe 4) colors total. 1. Black for the entire trophy guide 2. Blue for Links 3. Red for Headers (Guide, Roadmap) and maybe important notes. 4. Green (or any other pleasing to the eye color) if necessary. Please let your opinions know here and maybe we (as members) can request that the Guide Team make them all in Black. This is up for discussion and can go either way based on majority decision. EDIT: Before anybody answers consider this. The color black is proposed only for Trophy Guide and Roadmaps. All of the trophy guides and roadmaps on the HOME page are in black. Why does the HOME page use black and not gray? And to those who say that black is harsh on the eyes i understand but its only related to the guides and not every single post in the forums.
  4. Dying Light has 67 Collectibles required for the It's All in the Writing trophy. There are also 100 gold statues and 30 flag collectibles but those are not required. The only ones required are Notes, Battle Journals & Voice Recordings. There are many collectibles, especially notes, that you will need to have completed, or be on a specific side quest. Many areas won't be accessible until the game sends you there for a quest. You don't have to get the collectible during the quest as all those previously inaccessible areas will remain open for the rest of the game. You'll have to complete all quests for the Platinum anyway so it shouldn't be a concern. Furthermore, there are 16 Rock Cairns in Chapter 10 for the "Not a Cairn in the World" trophy. Finding all their locations unlocks the following 9 trophies: First Treasure Treasure Hunter Treasure Master Relic Finder Jot This Down Lost Art of Journaling Take a Note Lost History Gift of Gab Not a Cairn in the World The game has 22 chapters, a Prologue and Epilogue. The following chapters do not have any collectables in them: Prologue, Chapter 1, Chapter 4, Chapter 5, Chapter 7.You can keep track of your collectable progress in chapter select. There's a collectable counter for each chapter. The treasures can also be tracked in the pause menu. After getting a collectable, it will be saved instantly so you don't need to reach the next checkpoint and can quit out of the chapter right away. All progress carries over to the next playthrough and you can get missing collectables via chapter select at any time. The treasures are glittering items hidden around the game world, the Journal Entries require you to inspect certain objects (a few come from conversations) the Journal Notes are found from skeletons mostly and the Optional Conversations are from talking to your buddies (an icon will show up over their head). None of the collectables are found during enemy encounters as they are all in areas without enemies. It is important you collect everything in the order outlined in this guide. The game is designed in such a way that you often cannot go back to previous areas. If you go too far you will miss something and need to replay the entire chapter. Chapter 2: [ame] [/ame] Treasure #1 (Panamanian Cat Pendant) - After the prison guard brings you outside, you are supposed to pick up a rope. Where you find the rope there's a hole in the ground (like an underground prison cell). Down in the hole is the first treasure. Treasure #2 (Navaja Folding Knife) - This one is in the old tower you have to climb. When you enter the tower for the very first time, look behind a pillar. Same room has a note on a table. This is the room where you have to pull some rubble with the rope. Chapter 3: [ame] [/ame] Treasure #3 (Antique Padlock) - When the mission starts, swim to the right immediately. There is a broken tree trunk in the water. Below it is the treasure. Treasure #4 (Chiriqui Shark Trinket) - From the previous treasure keep swimming along the right side. Just a few seconds later you can see a cave. Inside the cave is the treasure. Treasure #5 (Antique Pocketwatch) - Where you find the container, swim to the right of the area. Behind some seaweed there's a treasure on a rock. Ascend to see it glitter. Conversation #1 - After leaving the underwater section you're on a boat. By the extracted container is a worker you can talk to. Conversation #2 - After leaving the underwater section you're on a boat. In the middle of the boat there's a man you can talk to. Treasure #6 (Antique Arcade Token) - After leaving the underwater section you're on a boat. The treasure is in the middle of the boat in a shelf. Chapter 4: No Collectables in this chapter! Chapter 5: No Collectables in this chapter! Chapter 6: [ame] [/ame] Treasure #7 (Mughal Water Container) - This is on top of the cliff, just half a minute into this chapter Treasure #8 (Nephrite Brass Cup) - Found in the area with the citrus trees, in the window of a building. Conversation #3 - Also in the citrus tree area. Just walk around the area and it will trigger. Conversation #4 - Shortly after the last conversation you must use a rope to progress. After that Sam walks near you and a conversation pop-up will appear. Just stay close to him after the rope swing. Treasure #9 (Viking Cloak Clasp) - After a cutscene Nathan will have a suit on and you'll be at a gala. Turn around from where you start and enter the room behind you. There on a shelf is a treasure. Treasure #10 (Mother of Peal Horn) - On the balcony very close to the previous treasure (top floor of the gala). Check on the right side of the balcony. Conversation #5 - Same balcony as the last treasure. Talk to Sam in the middle of the balcony. Treasure #11 (Persian Bronze Bowl) - This one is in the pantry. You get here after stealing the keycard from a waiter. Look behind a crate to the left of the pantry exit. Hard to see because it's tucked away in the corner of the room. Treasure #12 (Brass Barber's Bowl) - Just after leaving the pantry you have to go downstairs. At the bottom of the stairs is a treasure. Treasure #13 (Syrian Vase) - After crawling through the air vents you come to a garden area with a locked gate. Here you can jump down the railing on the left and drop to the area below. In order to get back up you must climb a ladder and go over some rooftops. Up here on the first rooftop is a treasure. Treasure #14 (Persian Candlestick) - Just after the previous treasure, Sam will drop a ladder for you so go up it and climb the structure on the left. Make a backup of your save here! From the structure you need to jump to a balcony on the right. If you miss this jump there's no way to go back - you'd have to replay the entire chapter. So create another save game in case you miss the jump. The treasure is on that balcony. Treasure #15 (Mughal Dagger) - When swinging across some poles you will see a short cutscene where Nathan is about to fall off. He drops to a dark muddy area below and you regain control of him. Swing across the pole in front of you. Then instead of climbing up the wall like you're supposed to, hang down the cliff and climb to the right (where you came from). Treasure is on a ledge. Chapter 7: No Collectables in this chapter!
  6. Outlast has 62 collectibles. These are missable trophies. The collectibles must be gained in a single playthrough but they do save as soon as you pick them up. You can create manual save points often along the way so if you do miss one, you can just reload a save prior to your missed collectible and play the game from that point on instead of the beginning. Collecting 15 of each will award EDUCATED and finding all of them will award PULITZER. There are two types of collectibles: Notes (31) - These are collected by using your camcorder to record something. To record with your camcorder, you just need to hit to bring it out. If you're holding your camcorder, it is recording. Remember, as long as you don't have night vision on, your battery won't drain. You'll know when you're recording a note when you hear Miles writing on a notepad and you'll see the camcorder icon in the bottom right corner of your screen blinking. Hit to bring up your list of collected notes. Documents (31) - Documents are your traditional collectible. These are picked up around the environment. These look are flashing blue folders with the word "confidential" written on the front of them. Hit to bring up your list of collected documents To make sure you're not missing any, here is the complete list of collectibles which you can cross reference with your list by hitting and . It's possible that you collect them in a slightly different order if you're not following this guide. Note - Screenshot is spliced together, they are individually displayed in game.   7. Welcome to my Collectibles Guide for the DLC "Burial at Sea Episode 2" from the Game Bioshock Infinite. http://i.imgur.com/tOyaJ0q.png The DLC has total 29 Collectibles. These 29 are the following: 16 Audio Diaries, 9 Voxophones and 4 Notes. The 4 Notes are required for the Audio Diary Number 14. If you miss a Collectible you can use the Chapter Selection. Some Collectibles are behind locked Doors. You need again many Lockpicks to open this Doors. Lockpicks can you find in the whole DLC or buy it at the several Vendormachines in the DLC. 1 Lockpick cost $18.
