Welcome to Skylanders Imaginators! One of the easiest games to platinum in the series. Like previous games, you use toys to play the game, but you can now create your own Skylanders with the use of Crystals. The retail game comes with two Senseis and a crystal, and that is all you will need for the trophies.

If you are new to the series this would be one of the better games to start with, as there's nothing else you need to purchase and it's very easy. They have also added commercials as a replacement of loading screens where they urge you to buy chests for real money. Micro transactions is a new thing to Skylanders and as Platinum goes, it's not something you have to buy. Guest voice actor Greg Proops is in this game, famous for Star Wars: Phantom Menace and Nightmare before Christmas.

Step 1: Play the campaign to unlock all story related trophies.

For trophy reasons avoid Expert Mode or Normal. Play on Easy, as it cuts the playtime by 5-20 hours. I recommend that you play as the Queen on your first playthrough, as she is extremely over powered.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/4667/13g.jpg Just Getting Started (B)

Unlock your first Sensei Elemental Realm

Sensei Realms are located on the M.A.P and are unlocked by having a Sensei of the correct type for that Realm. With the starter pack you will have Water and Earth that you can unlock. The Water realm is located next to the car tracks on the M.A.P, nearby the Crash Bandicoot level. Earth is located next to one of the cannons and close to the Creation Clash halls.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/4667/14g.jpg What? No Damage??? (S)

Cradle of Creation: Complete the Gong Challenge without taking any damage

Cradle of Creation is the first level in Skylanders Imaginators and the Gong Challenge is story-related. You can either get this trophy done as fast as possible by reloading the level if you take damage during your initial playthrough, or you can save it for later when you have a higher level. The best way to do this is to use your R2 move as that makes you pretty much unstoppable.

(Note: You can restart a gong challenge by swapping out your Sensei if you take damage before the event ends. However, there are some glitches and errors that can happen by doing this exploit so be careful. Thanks to Ant 2014 for this tip.)

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/4667/15g.jpg I'll Take the Next One (B)

Mushroom River: Leave Eruptor on a raft to ride down the river alone

There will be multiple opportunities for this trophy, but the easiest place is towards the end when you have pushed two cannonballs into a lift to open the door. Eruptor will then shout out "Hey, ya did it!" Simply jump on the raft and as soon as you see Eruptor is on the raft, try and fall off it. This section is roughly 20 seconds long, so if you keep walking off the raft, eventually you will spawn in such a way that Eruptor rides alone.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/4667/16g.jpg Demolitionist (B)

Scholarville: Explode 15 Exploding Barrels and Crates

There is no in-game tracker to help with this one. You will need to destroy most if not all of the crates and barrels in the stage, as there aren't that many to begin with.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/4667/17g.jpg Banananas! (B)

Shellmont Shores: Eat five bunches of bananas

(Glitch Warning)

There is a glitch where if Player 2 picks up a banana it would not count, so either play alone or make sure only Player 1 picks up bananas.

Here is a collectible video guide:

[ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3nkBHhXMTKE[/ame]

Most of these will be in your field of view but here is a short list of where they are.

#1 Banana - Located at the start of the level, It's below the first spinning cog.

#2 Banana - Right after the first Banana, before the gate and the building.

#3 Banana - Located to the Left of the Green barrier that you have to destroy with a bomb.

#4 Banana - After the area with the three spinning cogs, you can see it on the left side of the big house. It's located next to a purple exp ball.

#5 Banana - At the gate right after you've traversed the spinning tower.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/4667/18g.jpg Wrecking Baller (B)

Sky Fortress: Use the wrecking ball to destroy every crate on the Vulture Cargo Ship

This is most likely the hardest trophy in the game. The Wrecking Ball is a mini-game you unlock early in the level, and you must destroy every crate on the cargo ship before either the timer runs out or you destroy every TNT crate. You need to be careful with the ball but yet efficient so you don't run out of time. The best tactic is to leave one TNT crate for as long as possible while you clean up the normal crates. Pushing crates off the ship counts as destroying them.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/4667/19g.jpg Fizzy Landscaping (B)

Fizzland: Remove 9 trees with fizzy bottles

Removing 9 Trees can be a little bit tricky but nothing too challenging. Here is a short list of the ones I did in order and I had the trophy pop quite early into the level. I had more then I needed before the level was complete, but better to be safe then sorry!

#1-2 At the start of the level, first bottle.

#3-6 These three will block your path early on in the level.

#7 This tree is at the start of the block puzzle.

#8-10 These three are at the end of the block puzzle, just before the spinning bottle maze.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/4667/20g.jpg King of Cake (B)

Golden Arcade: Score over 4000 points in the Candy Cake Gumdrop Land video game

The Candy Cake mini-game machine is located at the end of the level. Make sure that you collect every piece of candy and balloon in this 2D platformer. After only a few meters to the right, Kaos will spawn the boss fight, so be cautious and make sure you collect 4000 points before that.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/4667/21g.jpg The Ultimate Tourist (B)

Dragon Temple: Visit every island when descending from the temple

This trophy is pretty annoying as the game lacks a checkpoint system. You only have one shot at this per playthrough of this level; if you screw up you have to replay the whole 10-30 minute level again.

I have made a video to help you out:

[ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JAoCUemjvhA[/ame]

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/4667/22g.jpg No Hill Too Steep! (B)

Abandoned Amusement Park: Destroy 25 falling boulders

On your way through the level you will come to the part where you have to reclaim the candles from the rats. At the start of the mountain will be two slides where grey boulders will fall down into the abyss. This is also just before the Creation Clash game.

[ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_FzA-wzuYr8[/ame]

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/4667/23g.jpg Big Winner! (S)

The Lair of Kaos: Break Kaos' Gameshow scoreboard by scoring too many points

Breaking Kaos scoreboard require you to score 10.000 points; you do that by killing Kaos clones, which can be farmed easily at the end of the Gameshow. Avoid using the beam crystal you come across and instead keep killing clones and you will get there in no time. This area is the final area of the Gameshow and will have two towers on each side that spawns clones.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/4667/24g.jpg Savior of Skylands VI (G)

Complete Story Mode on any difficulty setting

This trophy will pop after you beat Kaos. This game is very forgiving with its difficulty and is one of the easiest Skylanders games to date. Simply play the game on the easiest difficulty to save yourself time, as harder difficulty only adds HP to the enemies. The game itself is exactly the same otherwise.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/4667/25g.jpg Self Reflection (B)

Take a Selfie on the Hall of Selfies

The Hall of Selfies is located inside the Academy and it's behind EON, close to the library. You take selfies with L2. There is no Selfie pad in the Hall, so you will have to do it manually.

[ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y7cBdd-Hbjc[/ame]

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/4667/26g.jpg Star Voyager (B)

Complete all three Star Objectives on any chapter

You can get this done easily in the Earth Sensei Realm, as that realm is extremely short and you can collect everything quickly (Note that Queen can destroy earth blocks with her attacks and minions). Otherwise the most likely reason you have missed this trophy is due to the Speedrun challenge. Simply replay one of the earlier levels and run through it, ignoring everything.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/4667/27g.jpg K-TROLL King (B)

Beat 10 Troll Radio challenges

You will most likely collect all 10 of these before you are done with the campaign. However, if you miss one, you can collect one in any of the two Sensei realms you can open with the starter pack. The Water Sensei realm has the Troll Radio challenge on the path you have to take to complete the level.

[ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nhjofwrzl1M[/ame]

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/4667/28g.jpg Lock YES! (B)

Solve 10 Lock Puzzles

Story-Related and cannot be missed.

Lock Puzzles are so frequent in this game that you will most likely get this trophy a few levels in. There are two types of gates in this game. One is the battle gate (where you have to beat every monster to progress) and the other is a Lock Puzzle (which are extremely common).

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/4667/29g.jpg Clash Titan (B)

Win 10 Creation Clash Matches

See individual story related trophies for locations of 10 Creation clash matches. If you are having trouble getting 10 of these after you've done the campaign, you can find more in the Creation Clash Hall.

[ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jb1BN6u4SUE[/ame]

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/4667/30g.jpg Gong Bonger (S)

Complete 3 Battle Gong challenges

Battle Gong challenges require the use of Senseis to bang the gong. They serve as arena matches, and you can find one in each level so you will have a surplus of gongs by the time you've finished the story. Once you've done three, you don't have to do any other of them unless you want to get exp balls or loot boxes.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/4667/31g.jpg Secret Spelunker (B)

Go down a rabbit hole on the M.A.P.

On the M.A.P there are three types of encounters you can find, and the most common one is Battles where you fight monsters to get loot boxes. However, there are also rats running around, and if you follow them closely, chasing them around they will eventually dig holes to escape. These are the holes you need to enter, and you only have 15 seconds before they are gone. You can respawn the rats by entering the Academy back and forth.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/4667/33g.jpg Getting Serious Here (B)

Earn 10 Objective Stars

Story-Related and cannot be missed.

See Whoa! That's High!

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/4667/34g.jpg Whoa! That's High! (G)

Earn 20 Objective Stars

After I was done with the campaign, I had 18 stars and I did skip as much stuff as possible. If you save this for last, you can easily use Sensei realms to get another 1-6 stars. If that is not enough you can replay earlier levels for more.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/4667/35g.jpg Black Belt (S)

Level up any Sensei to level 20

(Glitch Warning)

If Player 2 levels to 20 you will not get credit for the trophy! If you are not careful you might have to buy more Senseis or reset the ones you have if you leveled both up to 20 as Player 2.

Getting to level 20 should come naturally as you play the campaign. Collecting exp balls is key to this, and the big purple ones are everywhere. I recommend that you play as the Earth Sensei (the Queen) as she is way superior to King Pen in every way.

The crystal that comes with the starter pack does not count as it's not a Sensei.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/4667/36g.jpg Sky-Chi for Ye (B)

Open a Sensei Shrine

Sensei Shrines are located in levels and you will see them everywhere. They are class specific, so with the starter pack there are only two types you can collect. However, both of them are in the first two levels of the game, so if you miss this trophy you can replay Cradle of Creation for the first Shrine.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/4667/37g.jpg Imagine All That Imaginite! (S)

Open 50 Imaginite Chests

This will come naturally as you play as you get tons of these while playing. There are also microtransactions in the game, so if you really want to, you can buy chests for real money. I highly advice against it as there is absolutely no point in doing so for any trophy and you can literately farm 50 of them in an hour by replaying the first level.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/4667/38g.jpg Ooh - rare! (B)

Acquire a Rare weapon and equip it to an Imaginator

Rare weapons are purple colored gems that you find in Imaginator chests. You will easily get this within a few levels, as bosses award you with their own loot and they are always above average in quality.

(Note: The inventory menu is located in the pause menu while having a creation crystal placed on the portal.)

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/4667/39g.jpg Really is Epic (B)

Acquire an Epic weapon and equip it to an Imaginator

Epic weapons are Green colored gems that you find in Imaginator chests. You will easily get this within a few levels, as bosses awards you with their own loot and they are always above average in quality. You can also get these from completing sets, so they are very common.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/4667/40g.jpg Not a Myth Anymore! (S)

Acquire an Ultimate weapon and equip it to an Imaginator

Ultimate weapons are orange colored gems that you find in Imaginator chests. You will easily get this within a few levels, as bosses awards you with their own loot, and they are always above average in quality. You can also get these from completing sets, so they are very common.

If you have had bad luck with getting quality items you can farm the earlier levels or do M.A.P specific battles.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/4667/41g.jpg Fear the Gear! (G)

Equip an Imaginator with all Ultimate Gear

This will most likely come naturally while you play, as most bosses will award you with Ultimate gear every now and then. Kaos will often give you three different Ultimate gems each time you beat him.

If you missed this before you are done with the campaign, you can farm these by replaying a level, or doing M.A.P battle events.

(Note: The inventory menu is located in the pause menu while having a creation crystal placed on the portal.)

Thanks for the guide! The game is on sale right now at a couple of places with figures and crystals being buy one get one free. Just ordered mine now with some crystals (I don't think I'll will be needing any more figures with my collection being over 70ish). Looks like an easy fun play through.

Thank you, It's not completely done yet as there are a few typo's and grammar issues I need to adress but it's getting there :3

I wish you the best of luck with the plat and I'm confident you can do it easily if you have around 70 figures. I did not buy any extra crystals or figures besides the starter pack and Crash Bandicoot dlc (For the guide)

I have from previous games but I did not use them.

For the What? No Damage??? trophy you can reset the event if you take damage.

Just switch out the sensei character with any other character and the event will end with a message that you can't switch characters during the event, then just start the gong event again with the sensei character. Faster then reloading the game or running the level again.

This works with every gong or challenge in the game, however after doing it a few times I've noticed that the game can crash or cause other errors.

But thanks for pointing this out, appreciate the feedback.

The problem was that I had incorrectly loaded the PS4 version of this trophy, thus it ended up with the same URL as the one below it .

Thank you Terminator, I've made the changes now. :applause:

Was thinking about writing a guide for this but got to busy setting up my hundreth platinum. Tnx for writing this, helped out in getting some of the trophies and the platunum too.

Thank you for the positive feedback hungherk, I Appreciate that.

Congratulations on the platinum and I'm glad the guide helped you.

Good luck with the 100th Platinum, that's a milestone I'm about to breach aswell so I know the feeling hehe.

Edit: Still in the progress of adding some more to the guide before having the final look overs. It takes some time to add video content as the game is stupid with PS4share it takes ages so sorry about that but it is in the works!

Nice guide. Can I platinum the game without the starter pack? I have about 10 figures from previous skylander games.

Portal wise I'm not sure that previous ones work and I highly doubt they do, there is a new kind of portal for this one.

You need to have a creation crystal of any kind for four trophies and you must have a Sensei for three of the trophies. It's not possible to platinum to game without those.

Well according to this chart

Portal Compatibility - Skylanders Character List

the trap portal, which I own, work with every game. Maybe I can avoid the starter pack by buying one sensei an one crystal.

I can't speak on the Portal as I don't know but that might be the case.

You need one Sensei and one Crystal so if you get that you can get the platinum without getting the Starter Pack.

Wish you the best of luck with the platinum.

Thanks for the guide, NRD! I sometimes forget to thank people for the guides they've written, but I especially want to do it for these lesser known/played games.

If I can make a suggestion, you may want to include a note somewhere in the guide that you learn to play Creation Clash during the main campaign. The game doesn't do a good job of explaining this, so I was worried that I was missing something when I was playing through the first few levels and NPCs kept telling me to come back later when I learned how to play. I think it was about halfway through the story.

Thank you and thanks for the critique!

Yeah I know I was also curious about Creation Clash on my initial playthrough but after a while the game introduces you to it. There is a video guide where to find them all so I assumed that was enough for the trophy.

Well I hope you managed to get that Platinum and you had fun doing so! Thanks again! :)

Finally the game (starter package) is at discount for $32. I am gonna pick it up and use your guide. Thanks

Yeah it's wise waiting for sales on these types of games, I'm myself waiting for discount on a game in the series, some stores hold these starter packs to outrageous prices lol

I hope you'll have use of my guide and if you have any questions feel free to hook me up :) Good luck!

Platinum achieved.

I usually try not to be too critical of guides because I know how much time and effort go into creating them, but this guide is lacking a decent amount of information.

The first 2 issues are it is not a 1 for a game. While I know it is subjective, declaring something a 1 typically is a game where you get from point A to B with nothing in between. Secondly, all though they probably worked then, all the videos attached are broken and can't be viewed.

The next issues are specifically related to your descriptions of how to obtain certain trophies.

For the adventure trophies, if you were to attempt them prior to end game, it would be before you start the Abandoned Park level, not during it. And you don't explain what they need to do to get the trophies. A person just blowing through the game might not realize they have to go to certain levels and might just pick battle arena or the likes which aren't related to any trophies because they feel they are easier and quicker to finish. You also don't explain how to go about it post game either so people just kind of guess.

You should also note where each level is located in their respective trophies so people know where they are looking as they are not labeled in game until you actually walk up to them which can be a pain seeing as many are far apart.

You should also explain that all areas are locked and they only unlock at random when you talk to Brain and Fizz and that only 2-3 levels unlock at a time and you can only pick one. Then it resets so you may not always get the levels associated with the trophies.

Lastly, for the Imaginators trophies, you make no mention that those trophies are related to using the Creation Crystal for your custom character. And you don't tell people how to actually equip each item or that in order to equip Ultimate gear, you have to be a minimum of level 6.

I know it is not a hard game and people likely will figure it out on their own. But the point of a guide is to make so they don't have too. I feel you left out a lot of information that can cause people to needlessly waste time.

Howdy!

Congratulations on the Platinum!

I will try and break down your critique into segments to try and make my point come across easier, if you don't mind.

1) The first issue you are having (I think) is about the difficulty rating. It's not an issue as it's personal opinion and if people want to see the vote and what the general consensus thinks there is a link in the guide, or at least should be as I put it on there when I submitted it. It should be there and if it's not then I hope a mod can fix that, or I do it. I have not done guides in months so I don't know if they don't allow that change now or not. don't care much.

It's personal opinion.

2) The videos is put on private since two days ago or three, you wouldn't have seen the issue before then and for people that can't view them; I'm sorry but I had to put them on private meanwhile I deal with the harassments I received online, Trophy hunting communities can be really toxic. They should be back up this Friday or weekend.

3) About the Adventure levels; I see no issues here at all.

*While the Adventures are the end-game content of the game, you can actually start doing these during the Abandoned Amusement Park level, provided you haven't collected all eight slices of cake. If you have already finished that quest, you will have to beat Kaos so you can unlock the levels again.*

It clearly reads that "as long as you have not collected all eight slices of cake and that you get more options to do them after you beat Kaos." The adventure levels are not missables unless you turn the game off after beating Kaos and someone is not going for the platinum as there are more trophies you would miss out on if you stopped playing at that point (normally).

The game tells you about the adventure levels after beating Kaos and setting Brainy free. The only thing I could add is "Talk to Brainy" which is pretty obvious as he is the only character you can have a conversation with post-game. He also glows and there is a cutscene showing the player where he is and what he does. (Besides DLC characters).

I also Have put the level names of the levels you have to do in the guide, the only thing left I could do is make a video of me walking to each level that is required for the trophy which seems redundant (All the levels are horde mode levels with little to no exploration).

The game (Either Brainy or Fizz) tell the player in detail Where the levels are and show you them in a small cinematic cutscene when the quest starts (*I heard magz needs help at the arena!* and the camera pans over.) The guide can't be at fault for this; If People can't listen and watch for 3 seconds of the game they can't read a guide either.

"Complete any of the following a total of three times.

- Battlefield Blitz.

- The Battleship.

- Operation: More War."

If you do Battlefield Blitz three times you get the trophy, don't see why this is a problem. I assume everyone wanna do it quicker and do battle arena if they feel more comfortable with them.

If you are blowing through the game you will still get the option to do the levels later.

3) or 4) something.

The Creator crystal thing is not something you can miss, you will always get ultimate gear. I played through the game 4 times now, there is no way someone would Not get Ultimate gear required for the trophy.

"This will most likely come naturally while you play, as most bosses will award you with Ultimate gear every now and then. Kaos will often give you three different Ultimate gems each time you beat him.

If you missed this before you are done with the campaign, you can farm these by replaying a level, or doing M.A.P battle events."

The first time you put your creation crystal on your portal you get straight into the creation menu, it should not be able to avoid or miss. I can add this to the guide I guess but yeah sure ok there might be some people that would just leave the creation crystal and just play with the figurines.

I can add something too two of these things I guess but there is nothing wrong with the guide as it stands, almost all my friends have told me it worked great and none of them have spent over 2 days on the game.

Thanks for the critique and all! Wish you the best of luck with future trophies.
