Floodclaw
Overview: Estimated trophy difficulty: 2/10 (Platinum Difficulty Rating) Offline trophies: 10 (7(B), 1(S), 2(G)) Online trophies: 0 Approximate amount of time to 100%: Around 3-6 hours depending on time spent exploring (Estimated Time to Platinum) Minimum number of playthroughs: 1 Number of missable trophies: 3 (Collector, Mirror Breaker, Trapped) Glitched trophies: 0 Does difficulty affect trophies?: No difficulty options Do trophies stack?: No Do cheat codes disable trophies?: No cheat codes Introduction: Remothered: Tormented Fathers is the first in a planned trilogy of survival horror games. Playing as Dr. Rosemary Reed, you explore a dark, dusty mansion in search of answers. In your attempts to escape alive, you will encounter several roaming enemies and solve several puzzles as you try to escape. Gameplay is very reminiscent of the early entries in the Clock Tower franchise, and takes much inspiration from the series. Because of this, the game focuses a lot on stealth and exploration, make sure to keep your flashlight () and crouching () handy. The story progresses in a fairly linear fashion, with few ways to deviate from the given path as you explore to find key items and solve the mystery of the Felton manor. Along the way, there are many objects you can examine, with 19 of them counting towards a trophy to 'find all collectibles'. Most can be found at any time, but some can be permanently missed. Once missed, a new playthrough is required to find them. Your diary (accessed via ) can be used to keep track of which collectibles you have, as well as your progress in the story. However, it is important to keep in mind the collectibles are NOT saved automatically - if you pick up a collectible and die before saving, you will need to acquire it again for it to count in that playthrough. Save often. Most of the trophies come with progression in the story and are very straightforward. The three exceptions are the above-mentioned collectible trophy, attempting to leave the mansion, and doing a certain activity before you are meant to do it in-story in Celeste's room. Walkthrough: Taking care to explore thoroughly (or keep a list of collectibles nearby), Remothered is very simple to 100% in one playthrough. Step 1: - Complete the game and obtain missable trophies. Begin the game. Attempt to leave the mansion when you're prompted to as an objective to unlock Trapped. During the 'Violence' chapter: in a room full of mirrors, smash all the mirrors in the room before doing anything else. This will unlock Mirror Breaker. Keep track of the collectibles you have and the ones you have yet to collect as you progress. This will unlock Collector once you have all 19. Finishing the game will award you the remaining 7 story-based trophies. Edited September 21, 2020 by Terminator Removed a dead link and the associated text. Collector Get all the collectibles **MISSABLE** There are 19 total collectibles that count for this trophy, though there are many more inspectable items. You will be notified every time you inspect a collectible you have not seen before. A complete collection of collectibles and where to find them are inside the spoiler tags below:
1. Missing - Celeste Felton Immediately after the opening cutscene, this collectible will be on the power pole in front of you. 2: Movie Poster Instead of progressing towards the Felton estate to the left of the first collectible, turn right into the alley where the poster is waiting. 3. Coronation of the Virgin While waiting for Felton to arrive in his office, this painting will be on the wall. If missed, it can be acquired at any point while freely roaming the house. 4. Article - Contaminated Fields Cannot be missed. Must be picked up from inside Felton's office desk in order to trigger your first meeting with Felton. 5. Happily Together This one is very easily missed. It is in the drawer to your immediate right after re-entering the mansion. It will be permanently unobtainable once Felton is met for the second time and begins roaming the house. 6. Gloria's Note This one is easy to find. It is attached to the film projector in Felton's office, which is a place you will be using key items anyway. 7. Mr and Mrs Felton's Marriage This one is hanging on the wall in the Master Bedroom on the first floor, the same room you hide from Felton in as he begins roaming. 8. Summer in Rome This one is stuck to the fridge in the Kitchen area accessed first via the Ground Floor Corridor. Easy to spot. 9. Article - Wyman's Suicide This one is on the far side of the Dining Room table, and is required to find a key item nearby. 10. Felton Family Portrait This one can be found directly next to the previous collectible, hanging on the wall at the far end of the Dining Room. 11. Red Nuns - Plantation This one can be found in the Master Bedroom, where the corpse used to be. It can only be found after seeing a girl flee into the attic on the first floor, but you will be returning to the Master Bedroom anyway. 12. Red Nun This one can be found after returning to Felton's office at any point after the Red Nun first attacks. It is hanging on the wall behind his desk. 13. Unpacking Bags This one is found in the attic/Obsession Room, and is required to progress the story. 14. Celeste/Jennifer This one is found after you find the secret corridor behind the fireplace. It is inside the drawer directly to the left of the cart and statue used to break down the plaster wall. 15. 1973 Easily missed. After suppressing your severe phobia of mirrors in Celeste's room, you will fall into the sewer under the house. Instead of progressing forward, turn around and maneuver through the pipes. It is hard to see, but will be found at the end of the path, on the right wall. 16. The Best Roses This one is automatically found after you exit the sewers and enter the wine cellar. 17. Signboard "RossoGallo" Farm This one is found in several places throughout the wine cellar, placed on the walls. Inspecting any one of them will do. 18. Note - Mannequin This one is found immediately after meeting with Gloria in the infirmary. Very difficult to miss, but make sure to inspect it before the next and last collectible. 19. Medical Records - Gloria Ashmann This one is found immediately to the left of the last one, behind the mannequin. It is required to progress the story, and is the last collectible in Remothered: Tormented Fathers. Congratulations! Edited September 21, 2020 by Terminator Fixed a spacing error. Floodclaw
Mirror Breaker Face and destroy your fears before they could come alive **MISSABLE** At a certain part of the story during the 'Violence' chapter, you will come across a room filled with mirrors. Break the mirrors immediately on entering the room with the infinite Distraction Item pile near the entry door before doing anything else. A more detailed description on the point of no return is found in the spoiler below.
Entering the bathroom will cause radio static noises to echo, enabling you to find the source and interact with it. After interacting with the recorder, you will be directed towards breaking all the mirrors in the room. To get this trophy, you will need to break all of the mirrors before interacting with the tape recorder. The trophy will pop as soon as you are done. Trapped Attempt to escape from the house **MISSABLE** This trophy is extraordinarily hard to miss, but technically can be. It is acquired after attempting to leave the mansion at any point beyond your second meeting with Felton. Simply approaching the front door on the ground floor is enough for the trophy to pop. esstee11
i dont want to be mean.... but your guide told me NOTHIN on how to complete the game man! and i got stuck a few times... which annoyed me... and i had to scour the internet for answers. plus your collectables pictures are soooo dark that they are near useless, you should have whacked the brightness up or shone your flashlight on them while you took the snaps or somethin. plus a 1/10 difficulty..... are you nuts?!?! i died like 50 times even at the beginning of the game! It is a game that you are constantly being stalked, constantly hunted hoping to hide n survive if your lucky, it also has plenty of missable stuff if u fuk up you gotta start a new playthrough, it is impossible to be a 1/10. I know the difference between an easy and a hard game, if you think im bein a puss then check my psnp to see what games and plats iv enjoyed to get. its not 'hard' but a 1/10 is ridiculous. i wanna say thanks for the guide but... i found it pretty darn useless. sorry. Floodclaw
Thank you for the reply. This is a trophy guide, however, not a walkthrough, so it wouldn't really contain tips on how to beat the game or figure out the puzzles. I've noticed you made one yourself, however, which is very helpful and well-laid out. I'll edit my roadmap to point to your thread in case other people are stuck with the game, if that's alright with you. As for the collectible pictures, my game was fully cranked up on the brightness. It's just a very dark game, and often the best angle to take was any identifying features in the surrounding area. Good point about the flashlight, though. Apologies that you didn't find them very useful, hopefully the accompanying text descriptions pointed you in the right direction. I gave the game a 1/10 for trophy difficulty because I didn't find it very difficult to get all the trophies. Most are achieved through the story, and you can get all the collectibles in one playthrough pretty easily with a guide, plus a single missable trophy later on that's also a cakewalk if you keep an eye out. The game itself can pose a few challenges, but they very rarely got in the way of getting all the trophies, hence a 1/10 for trophy difficulty. I'm sorry you didn't find the trophy guide very useful, though. Would you have any suggestions for specific improvements beyond what you've mentioned? I'm sorry you didn't find the trophy guide very useful, though. Would you have any suggestions for specific improvements beyond what you've mentioned? no worries, we good however i'm sorry but all guides ARE walkthroughs. in some ways or another. you gotta satisfy the peoples! the main improvements necessary i'd say needed are the ones i already mentioned, n like you said that u noticed i've just now typed out a text walkthrough, as i'm not one to just criticize n run, i would follow it up either by offering assistance or... ya know... sort it myself. As i wouldn't want any future players to experience the same.... narks. so yep feel free to add/link the text walkthrough. a few little bits n bobs of extra information here n there, but ya kno, thats up to you, your guide, do what you like. But if you'd like to see what i mean then go here: http://ps3imports.org/forum/index.php?/topic/10113-remothered-tormented-fathers-trophy-guide-text-walkthrough/ another thing is that with a good guide, your completion time is way off. you've put 4-6 hours. its more like 1.5-3 hours depending on if people run or crouch walk. useful buttons? what happens when you die/ do you have to get the collectables again? i dunno man people just have a lot of questions that need answering with any guide. they wanna know what to expect, n how the shit to get stuff done lol. Generally its only TellTale games that require no skill whatsoever that earn a 1/10 difficulty. This game definitely requires some skill. Yea i know the games dark, obv i've played it myself now, i had to have my ingame brightness set to 70%, then i was ok. I was gonna make my own .org remothered guide to challenge your sticky... however... I will just share here the extra content i would have added, including this walkthrough video i made (full game completion, all collectables, all trophies, 1 hour 11 mins) : [ame] [/ame] and i give you permission to use it, if you desire. if not.... then yea i'll prob just offer a challenge guide lol Edited June 22, 2019 by esstee11

Floodclaw
Indeed, and thank you again for the recommendations, it definitely helped. I'm definitely looking forward to the sequel! Hopefully it improves on the game, makes it a little longer and chunkier. Edited June 22, 2019 by Floodclaw
Naps
Wow just realised that this does not have any platinum - makes me wonder why the devs would break tradition - two IPs come to mind, TellTale Games - The Walking Dead Season 2 + The Walking Dead: Michonne and IO Interactive's Hitman 1 + Hitman 2. Does a game dev have to pay MORE if they add a platinum to a game? This has always baffled me and here we have a plethora of EZPZ games from the likes of Ratalaika, Sometimes You etc. which have got a platinum trophy for their 10 minute games. This game has not been on sale, Tormented Fathers is still at full price when Broken Porcelain is currently sold under a tenner. Japan also has a Double Pack available that collects both versions and is currently on sale for just ¥ 1,922 (PS Plus ¥ 1,719). Had it not been a CERO D rated game I would have gotten this one for myself. Edited March 23, 2023 by Naps ... added more context...

Oof, this game hasn't been on sale in the US since June! As much as I enjoyed this game, it is way too short to justify spending 30 dollars on. I think Broken Porcelain has a lot more content, judging by estimated times to beat it. No idea how a 5 dollar game can get a plat but a 30 dollar one can't. I'd love to have a dev break some NDAs and explain the platinum requirements.

I definitely would want to know this as well. I have been searching any information about this game and there is not that much information about it out there. I think there were a few games that had no platinum initially but were given one post launch... Another weird game that has no platinum for the PS4 version is Genshin Impact despite having the same number of trophies on the PS5 which has got a platinum. Then there is the Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves which collects ALL previously released Uncharted games, has only one platinum and trophy list. Is there a criteria that Sony requires all game devs to carry-out before they are applied? Baffling indeed whenever I put the notorious EZPZs in the equation, things such as this platinum blunder do not make any sense unless it is really about about paying extra. This kind of puts the game devs in a bad light considering how important a is on the Playstation for trophy hunters. Not pleased at all, so stingy if that was the case.
