  1. The Vendor is located in Arcology Celestial Workshop. Can be reached after beating the Arisen Congregators Boss in Sohn District. I show how to get there in the video below. You need boss fragments after beating them to get their weapons and gear. NOTE - At the point of making this video the final boss is inaccessible due to an endless loading glitch. So I can't show that sadly.. Hope this helps
  2. Hey sorry for the late reply. Any videos i've put on this forums site is free for others to link or use, as long as credit is given :)

    Good luck with the guide!

  3. No stat pages that I'm aware of, so you'll need to track yourself. This is honestly the most boring grind I've seen in a game. Might do this during christmas break while binging anime
  4. Hey Rubhen, I'm looking at writing a trophy guide for Defunct and I know you like to share your videos for us to use on the site (saw your message to Velvet), so if/when I write a guide for Defunct I will use your vids and give you full credit for them.

By the way, they are excellent. Finding them so handy for finding all these collectables! Thanks :)

  5. 11) Matriarch Celeste The boss is actually very simplistic. She has a bunch of melee attacks, can charge at you and send some projectile shockwaves. Her jump attacks are dangerous so be mindful of that. In phase 2 she grow mechanical arms that have weird parry timings. There isn't much to say at all about this fight, just parry and attack back. You can use hit and run but the fight is much faster with parries. 12) Delver Echo Alpha Version 2 Again another solo delver fight. Pretty simple again. I chose to use the delver of the Helix weapon to kill the Delver with its own weapon. The weapon is weak so the fight takes longer for me but the fight should be simple now considering you're probably higher level and have better weapons 13) H.A.R.O.L.D. A giant version of the tripod enemies. Remember the first game where the tripod enemies were real annoying. Yea well they are back and worse. Now you have to face a boss version. He can pounce on you which i don't know how to defend against. I mean I've tried everything and I always take damage. I can't parry it either. He can also do charging attacks at you, poke you and do side swipes, which can be all parried. Parried attacks do way more damage but you can do hit and run attacks where you side step and hit to chip away. Lastly it can summon holographic mini versions of itself that pounce on you for pretty good damage so dodge carefully. I suggest staying close to the boss so it cannot pounce and will resort to melee attacks. 14) Goddess Helena This is a beefier version of the Statue enemies at Gideon Rock. Only difference is that the boss can power its weapon to do fire damage. It can shoot lasers, hit you with it shield which can cause an electrical explosion, poke you with its spear, hit side swipes and also kick you. All the attacks except the laser can be parried. To take out the shield use a charged attack to break it. After the shield is gone, parry and attack back to deal some damage. Rinse and repeat to beat it. If you do mistime the parries, the boss does a ton of damage so you can use hit and run if you are uncomfortable with parries. It just takes a while. 15) Final Boss (Archangel Eli) The final boss and a tough one. I highly suggest using parries for this boss and it can make it go way easier and faster. Hit and run can work but he has so many damaging moves that it might take a while, along with high health and stamina to make it work. The boss always starts with a charge attack which can be parried but the timing is strict. I suggest dodging to the left or right and then attacking him a couple times. Target one body part and attack it the whole fight. He has armor on all his body parts. Once you strip the armor, he takes more damage on the limb with no armor. I chose the head and just kept hammering at it. He has a wide array of attacks and they all hit like a truck. Get your armor upgraded (I used the Cerberus armor), health up and stamina up. Stamina most importantly if you're going for parries. All his attacks are 3-4 hit combos so if you mistime the parries well you better hope your stamina can handle blocking. When he uses the sword with his hand, parrying can be easy but when he lets of of the sword and it starts floating it can be hard to time the parries. Instead of looking at the sword, look at his hand that controls the sword. Time your parries based on his hand almost connecting with your body. This worked much better for me rather than looking at the sword. He can also use Nanite shockwaves separately and mixing it with his attacks. My best advice is to stay at full health so you don't get combo'd or chip damaged to death. With enough practice parrying him should be no problem. He can shoot projectiles that stay on the ground and damage you so be mindful of them. Other than that, good luck with this fight . Hope that was somewhat useful. I'm always glad to answer questions if there are any! Cheers!
  6. Hey guys, it's Rubhen here with another boss thread. For the first game I made a ton of guides. I was thinking of making one for this game too but I just don't have the time I used to, being in college and all. Apparently trying to become a game dev is a lot of work. Anyways, this game is a bit more challenging in certain boss fights, due to the fact that most bosses have insane armor levels and can't usually 2 shot you. The game also drains your stamina each time you parry, which I don't understand. I never really dabbed into the parry system in the previous game but in this game it is a necessity. Learn the parries for each boss and know when to dodge away. Some attacks will still hurt you if you parry (which I don't agree with), perfect example is the final boss that can send a shockwave while you parry which can still hurt you so parry the easy ones, and run for you life on the others. The hit and run tactics also work well here. Get a spear or heavy weapon, and do a dodge hit, run back, recover stamina, and repeat. This is a viable strategy on most bosses and I will mention which bosses can be cheesed this way too. Hope you guys find this useful, as I had to spend a while trying to experiment and practice stuff. In terms of weapons, I like the dual claws, gauntlets a lot, because of insane DPS potential mixed with the right implants. I will not cover implants because some people might explore more than others and using implant based strategies are pointless. I use on injectable the whole playthrough, which is the health one. Other implants are based on situational awareness. Here is a video compilation of all the bosses: [ame] [/ame] Timeline: 1) Nitro - 0:08 2) Warden Garcia - 0:48 3) Little Johnny - 3:25 4) Brother Eli 16:13 5) Captain Cervantes - 19:27 6) Delver - 21:57 7) Metal Armor & Major General Erza Shields - 29:05 8) Delver Echo Alpha - 34:06 9) Brother Eli 2 - 38:30 10) Delver Echo Gamma - 42:51 11) Matriarch Celeste - 45:15 12) Delver Echo Alpha Version 2 - 49:13 13) H.A.R.O.L.D. - 54:49 14) Goddess Helena - 56:58 15) Final Boss (Archangel Eli) - 1:00:44 Tips: 1) Nitro (Tutorial Boss) This guy is a total pushover. Basic enemy type with a 2 to 3 hit combo. You won't have access to dodge at this point so strafe left and right till he finishes attacking. Hit twice and move back. Rinse and repeat. 2) Warden Garcia The true first boss. You will have access to everything except a drone module. The boss has standard human attacks such as 2 hit, 3 hit combos, jump attack, and sliding attacks. All can be dodged or parried. There is an implant that allows you to see which direction to parry. Use it. It is the most useful implant if you're going for parries IMO. He can also summon a drone that shoots you, which makes this the most annoying part of the fight. Just dodge all attack and jab the boss a couple times or you can try to parry for more damage. Other than that, not much of a threat. The hit and run tactic works flawlessly here if you're not confident of your parries. 3) Little Johnny The first wall for many players who can't parry. This guy was super annoying to fight. I had low stamina and health and got clobbered by him several times. I had to farm for scrap so i could level up my stamina enough to be able to take his barrages and still be able to dodge if I missed my parries. The goal here is to break his limbs. His three mechanical legs with armor, and the 4 front pincers hands. For the 4 front pincers, just target each one and then parry his attacks. This is the fastest way to do a lot of damage to them. Hit and run doesn't work here because this guy recovers way to fast for being a fat heap of metal. He will swipe with his arms, do some weird stomps with his metal legs, shoot poison mist, and spread electric discharge mines around the field. Avoid all his attacks because they hurt a lot. Once you break his front 4 pincer hands, target the metal legs. There's no easy way to do damage. You can use hit and run to slowly chip away at the metal legs till they break. Be careful, because the broken legs will ooze poison mist so stay away. Once you slowly but surely take out all the 7 limbs, he will die. Good riddance. 4) Brother Eli He is a stronger version of other human enemies. Can do jumping attacks, sliding attacks, and 2-3 hit combos. You can parry him but if you miss he hurts a lot. Hit and run works well on him. Halfway through the fight he will summon enemies and can also start placing turrets. Either way not too much of a problem. Attacks after parries, crush him really hard so go for it if you're brave. 5) Captain Cervantes Again another human enemy with the same move list as others but can cloak and drop electric discharge mines. Hit and run works here as well. I suggest using drone modules to stop him from going into cloak mode. 6) Delver Oh boy, learn to parry people. This fight is so slow in terms of how much damage you can milk out of your weapon. This boss has 3 phases and has a ton of armor and health. If you parry you can shave off a chunk of health each time progressing the fight a bit quicker. If you use hit and run, this could take forever. In phase one, he can swipe his arms to hit you, jump on you, and can dig underground to hit you from under. Not too bad, just bulky. Phase 2 he turn into feral mode, and starts running around. At first he will jump onto the walls and shoot Nanite projectiles from his body. These shave off health from his health bar. After 2nd time he shoots projectiles he will pounce at you and fall. While he is stunned go and destroy the projectiles before he calls them back into his body. Destroying them will shave off his health permanently or he can recover health. When he is on the ground, he can headbutt you, pounce on you and swipe his claws. Parrying the swipes can stun him so you can do tons of damage. Rinse and repeat till phase 3 Phase 3 is the behemoth. He gains 2 giant Nanite weapons for arms that do explosions after he swings them. Each arm has armor. If you can take their armor off, they go away for a bit before he can regenerate the weapons. This fight is brutal because of one move, the slide. Easy enough to dodge but he corrects trajectory if you are close to the wall and can come back to hit you. The weirdest move I've ever seen. Stay relatively close to the middle and dodge the move so he can't possible track back to you. He can do swipes with his arm weapons and also send Nanite shockwaves at you but Nanite is a condition status so once the bar fills up, you will take a set amount of damage. Always stay away from Nanite exposed areas and stay at full health. I've died way too many times from this status. Don't get greedy here. Parry if you're confident. If you miss it will result in death as even if you survive the swipes, the explosions will surely kill you. Slow and steady here. Hit and run is the safest option 7) Metal Armor & Major General Erza Shields Another annoying fight. Simple on paper but the game just loves stacking things against the player. In Phase one, the boss will switch between it's guns and flamethrower. Stay close enough so it doesn't shoot its guns too much as they gun stun lock you to death. You can use your drones to shoot their ammunition tanks to take them out for a couple seconds, but it's just not worth the time. Do what I did. Stay close hit the legs, and run away. Hit and run works super well. You will take some damage but you're more safe this way than anything else you can try. Once the Armor loses health, it will get immobilized on the ground and can't move. Erza comes out and starts engaging you. The armor will still shoot fireballs and cannon shots at you. While Erza chases you. The camera is you worst enemy here as you can keep and eye on both of them so don't know when to engage and when to back off. The best way is to focus on Erza and use audio cues to keep track of when the Armor will shoot. Erza can be parried easily and attacking back does tons of damage. His only damaging move is the jump attack that tracks you. Other than that, parry, hit him back, run away, dodge armor attack and repeat to kill him. 8) Delver Echo Alpha Not sure why they decided to show this boss after the original Delver fight, because that fight is 3 in 1, whereas this is just one phase of the original boss. Same strategies, and by now you have way more damage output due to better weapons. 9) Brother Eli 2 Pretty much the same boss with some new elements. There are enemies at the start of the fight so just focus on taking them out first. He has new electric shockwave projectiles now so be careful about that but you can easily use hit and run to take him out. Not too bad, just be mindful of paralysis as he can take advantage of you being immobilized. 10) Delver Echo Gamma Again another one phase delver fight which is pretty much the same. The only difference is that the fight takes place in a smaller place so manage your surroundings more carefully.
  7. So the game has a few trophies associated to this last fight. 1) A trophy to lose to King Telos 2) A Trophy to survive the King Telos fight 3) A Trophy for beating Master Yaal (Final Boss) 4) A Trophy for executing Master Yaal after beating him (ENDING 1) 5) and a trophy for leaving Master Yaal to his fate (ENDING 2) If you are wanting to do all these trophies in one playthrough. Make a back up save right before you face off against King Telos. Then lose to him, this will prompt you to get the trophy to lose to him, and then beat Yaal, which will get the trophy for beating him. Choose either ending, pop the respective ending trophy, and then reload the save from cloud or USB. Now beat down Telos till you get the survival trophy, and then beat Yaal and go for the other ending. I got all these trophies this way and didn't even need to go into NG+ Telos is simple. Has AI tracking problems where if you circle around him, he will swing and try to rotate to try and face you. This gives you a chance to smack him a little and go around him again. Loop this to totally destroy him. I recommend the caestus or gauntlets as you can get a couple punches in. The Fiery Gold Needle also does amazing here. Burning enemies is the fastest way to kill them. Yaal has a bunch of moves from the previous bosses but he is predictable, just circle around him till he appears. Jab him a little and keep circling. Rinse and repeat. The bosses can't really track well, making them easy pickings. I've left a video to show my strategy for the final section of the game. Hope this helps [ame] [/ame] Timeline: 1) King Telos, The Silver Stag Boss Fight - 0:08 2) Master Yaal, The Exiled - 2:06 3) ENDING 1 (Kill Yaal) - 7:56 4) ENDING 2 (Leave Yaal to his fate) - 8:38 5) Credits - 9:06 Cheers

  9. 11) Final Boss | Ultimate Weapon Another 3 phase fight. Last one is a joke imo. Phase 1 is a tank phase. We know how this works by now as we fought 3 tanks bosses already. Do not use any guns with energy rounds as the boss has a shield that blocks all energy rounds. Also using Blaze doesn't help as the shield will mitigate 90% of the damage from Blaze attacks. Use Bazookas and machine guns that use standard ammo type and pelt the boss. The boss has a tendency to shoot missile barrages. If this is too much to handle, head to the second floor and jump up on the platform. From there it is easy to shoot the missiles down. Once the boss has half health he will turn into a CASPARAITIS looking mech. This is the most dangerous enemy type in the game. Because not only do you have to hit his head (The one part with the red glowing eyes) to damage the boss, but the boss can shoot insta kill lasers and infinite missile barrages. Best strategy is use the same spot mentioned above to shoot bazookas and use the machine guns to shoot the missiles headed towards you. Again easier said than done, but after a couple retries you will learn a pattern. I don't do this till after beating him the first time. Also using the SC-RH sniper rifle will speed this part up, but trying to get a perfect sniper shot while dodging missiles is a huge no no for me. So slow and steady is the advice I can convey. Once the boss loses all his health, he will go into phase 3. All you have to do is keep shooting the boss till the health reaches 0. You have to do this before the timer runs out or you'll get a game over. You don't even have to try here lol. That's pretty much it, as once you beat this phase, you can enjoy one of the cheesiest endings Hope this was helpful! If I can complete Hell mode, I'll make another thread with updated tips. I already am finding more stuff that is better as I play it. Cheers
  10. Hey guys, I compiled a video on all the bosses in the game on Normal. You can't choose a difficulty when you start the game. Some fights can be super easy with a certain set of weapons and some can be a nightmare as you need to run around the whole level to destroy targets that make the fights easier. The final fight is probably the hardest as the 2nd phase is incredibly cheap with the missile barrages. I'm probably not the best person to give advice as I made a ton of mistakes and still don't understand some bosses, but at least I can tell you what not to do. Hell mode is probably going to be reliant on how well you can dodge and change between guns. For your first time fighting these bosses I suggest learning them, instead of saving POWs and going for other collectibles. The reason being you can come back with better weapons to make the fights much easier. I sadly make the mistake of going for the collectibles in these fights which makes the actual battles much longer than they need to be. Recommended Guns to be Investing in: The Machine Guns are the best light guns to take for fights as they are pretty OP once you get the later guns. They deal incredible damage and also can stun lock most enemies. Energy Round version are ideal for most armored bosses. The next to invest in are the Bazookas. Hands down the best weapons to do solid damage to most bosses and enemies in general. I highly suggest having multiple loaded to your heavy gun slots. The other weapons are nice to have, but in terms of DPS, these two guns types will have you get through the game easily if you invest in them. All Boss Fights (Video): [ame] [/ame] Timeline: 1) Boss 1 | DORSEY - 0:08 2) Boss 2 | Mobile Armors (Shack, Paul, & Randy Models) - 1:51 3) Boss 3 | CASTINA - 14:52 4) Boss 4 | OLAJIAWON - 16:20 5) Boss 5 | COMMAND CRUISER - 23:55 6) Boss 6 | CASPARAITIS - 28:55 7) Boss 7 | WARNER - 43:28 8) Boss 8 | FIGHT HOUSE - 50:22 9) Boss 9 | DORSEY & CASTINA - 56:44 10) Boss 10 | RICHARD HAWK - 58:14 11) Final Boss | Ultimate Weapon - 1:05:53 12) ENDING - 1:11:00 Boss Tips & Strategies: 1) DORSEY | Boss 1 This is the first boss in the game, and is found at the end of San Francisco level. When you are playing the game for the first time, you won't have too many guns unlocked, so I highly suggest bringing bazookas and missile launchers into this fight to shred the boss down. If you can save up your bazooka ammo for this fight. It will be tempting to use the bazooka ammo for the tanks in the level, but try saving it for this fight. Another easy way to deal with this boss is to save your blaze ability which will melt this boss. If you farmed and invested in research, try bringing guns with energy rounds to make it easier for you. The boss itself isn't that difficult. It will either charge at you, shoot a laser, or shoot missile barrages. All of these attacks do a ton of damage, but you can hide in corners and shoot the boss so it's not too difficult. 2) Mobile Armors (Shack, Paul, & Randy Models) | Boss 2 This is probably one of the longer fights, because you will need to destroy all the targets in the map. If you don't destroy them the 3 bosses will end up being invisible for most of the fight. As soon as the fight starts dash left or you can instantly get killed by their missile barrages. From there go around the map destroying the targets, while dodging the bosses. Every time your blaze fills up, use it on the bosses and then back to target hunting. Once all the targets are destroyed, time to face the bosses. Blaze is the easiest way to deal with them. If not, bazookas, and energy round assault rifles and machine guns also do the trick. Make sure to shoot their missile barrages or you'll be out of health before you know it. Try go in and out of cover. Also the final one always likes to get stuck in walls so that can help too. 3) CASTINA | Boss 3 A really easy boss. Shoot the missiles, or strafe left and right to dodge them. Then hit back with bazookas and energy round gun of your choice to melt this boss. Not much else to say. In the Grand Canyon, don't stay on the bridge as the boss can blow it up. 4) OLAJIAWON | Boss 4 This is another boss that can't be touched unless you clear the map of targets. The boss will drop seeker mines drones, so make sure to dodge or destroy them. Once all the targets are down, the boss will strafe from one side to another on the map, dropping bombs and missiles. Use Bazookas, as your machine guns and assault rifles might not have the range to hit the boss. Hide when the boss is not moving and shooting its guns. The best time to attack is when it is moving and you can shoot from under the boss. Other than that, go around the map while the boss is not moving and gather ammo and shield. 5) COMMAND CRUISER | Boss 5 Honestly, this is an easy boss. You should have some powerful bazooka weapons and energy round machine guns. Just destroy the targets and the boss will go down pretty fast. You don't even have to try here. You deal so much more damage than what the boss can dish out. Be careful not to get hit while flying over water as if you fall, you'll die and have to restart the level 6) CASPARAITIS | Boss 6 Let's just say, I hate this boss. You have to go around the whole map and destroy the targets to slow down the fire rate of the boss. The laser beam will kill you instantly as it can stun lock you. Getting close to it is not an option as well, because the boss can use its legs to smack you aside. Overall an easy boss to deal with if it didn't have the laser attack. So go around dealing with the targets and then target the boss. Bazookas and snipers work well here for the boss. You don't have to take down the giant fortress as once you eliminate the other targets the boss slows down and won't fire as much. So you can shoot from a distance and wreck the giant hunk of metal. 7) WARNER | Boss 7 The boss doesn't aim at you, but instead at the Statue of Liberty. I highly suggest bringing a ton of Bazookas, and energy round machine guns. This will make this fight go super easy. I got lucky here as I was literally at the final stretch of land before I got a game over screen. Don't be like me 8) FIGHT HOUSE | Boss 8 This honestly made me laugh, but it's actually an easy boss. Get Bazookas ready and shoot the missile launchers that open up. Their locations are top left, middle, and right. Just wait till they open up, get close and shoot the bazookas. Make sure to not hit other areas as if the health bar on the White House goes down, you get a game over. A couple shots of the bazookas and the missile launchers break down. Destroy all 3 and the fight is over. Make sure to clear the area of enemies as they can be a nuisance. 9) DORSEY & CASTINA | Boss 9 At this point, these two should be a piece of cake. As usual bazookas and energy round machine guns will wreck them. Don't be too careless as the DORSEY laser beam can take a huge chunk of health from you. Other than that, nothing noteworthy. 10) RICHARD HAWK | Boss 10 This boss is a 3 phase fight. Before you get into the fight, make sure to equip yourself with a MG200, and its variants. The reason being, the boss is quick to dodge bazookas and so having dual machine guns will take him out quick. In Phase 1 the boss will be in the slots area, just dashing around. Use dual machine guns to stun lock him and push him into phase 2. He can break out and hit you with his own machine guns, but it's highly unlikely with two machine guns at the same time. In Phase 2 he will be in the sky, and will try to electrocute you by hitting areas covered in water. Again with dual machine guns you can easily ground him and stun lock him to phase 3. Phase 3 is the same as before where you can stun lock him, but he will get to a point where his health won't drop and will slowly start walking towards you. At this point use your blaze if you have it, because he is about to activate his. If you don't have blaze. Jump in the air and fly around in circles around him. If you get hit by his blaze, it will stun lock and kill you, so be extremely careful. Once he runs out of Blaze, drop to the ground and spam the machine guns to finish him off.
  11. Hey guys, it's Rubhen here with another platinum trophy walkthrough, this time for Solo: Islands of the Heart. It can be completed in about 2-3 hours. Most of the game is straight forward. Although you can easily miss a couple collectibles along the way. There are a couple different collectible types to collect, but for a few of them you won't need all of them. Especially the Ghosts to interact with, which you don't need to interact with all of them in the game to pop the respective trophy. So if you miss a couple do not worry, there will be plenty left to collect them before the game ends. The devs are kind enough to let you continue after getting one ending, so you can get both endings in one playthrough. If you follow this video with the timestamps, you should be able to get the platinum easy. Other than that, nothing much else to say. *Note - Feel free to use this supplement for your own trophy guide making process. 12. These 3 collectibles are items location in the Furrowfield Island, to the south in the Bog. Getting each one will give you their recipes so you can make them for other bases as well. Once all 3 are found, stack them up in a location in the base in this order: Blue, Red, Yellow. This will form a totem that people in the base will be happy to see. They will drop hearts in front of the totem regularly which helps with building your heart meter in order to level up the base. 13. Hey guys, it's Rubhen here with an ultimate compilation of all the minibosses and bosses you fight in the game. There are 6 levels, and each level has 2-3 minibosses to progress from one area to another and one final boss that you need to beat to complete the level. I've shown them all on Normal mode. Even on Normal this game can be super challenging so don't take them lightly! Also some minibosses are actually harder than the bosses so be prepared! I used Doyle throughout the game, as I really liked his machine gun (*I used the other character for the first fight and restarted. Guess i kept the original fight in the first miniboss section.....) *Note - I recorded on the Switch version as i was sent the code for Switch first. Bought the PSN one and playing through it. No real difference imo, but damn the trophies aren't syncing....
