  1. Looks like I missed your birthday...I hope that you had a fantastic day. Query: Does your bday always fall on the 1st day of summer?

  2. Another new trophy has been added to KF2 and made major changes to the game: https://forums.tripwireinteractive.com/forum/killing-floor-2/kf2-news-and-announcements/news-and-announcements-af/2332681-killing-floor-2-summer-update-back-and-kicking-brass-released. I've updated the Guide as best I can but it really needs an overhaul :(.

EDIT: There have been 2 more major updates since my last post and the Guide is getting really out-of-date and needs a serious overhaul :(.

  3. Since all parts give the characters performance parity (1 point removed adds another point elsewhere), there are technically no 'best' parts. However some character types can benefit more from different parts. As a Technique character, Rouge already has high Acceleration and Handling to start with, she will benefit from improved Speed and Boost. Something like this would work: G1 = 2 G2 = 3 G3 = 3 Again it depends on your play style. I stand by that the most efficient way to play is to choose a Power type character. What they lack in Handling and Acceleration, they make up for in Boost and Defence (which allows you to recover quicker after being hit) I mostly play as Knuckles with this setup: G1 = 2 G2 = 3 G3 = 2 On top of your Performance setup, you should always use a Bonus Box if you're struggling. You can really benefit in Expert mode by using: - Super Grip (only if you are playing with Speed or Power class) - Extended Ultimate - Faster Charging Ultimate
  4. I'm going to make some improvements to my tips on the challenge modes that I hope will help people out.
  5. The type-unique Wisps for Power types are Cyan Laser, Violet Void and Pink Spikes. Jade Ghost has equal chances of being acquired by all types. I will update that trophy, thanks for raising that! I wanted to do a pass on acquiring the trophies ‘legitimately’, but I will add these as variant techniques to acquire them too, cheers! I will add this as a variant technique, since Eggpawn Assault does not appear until Chapter 4. Thank you. I will update this too with the video King_Ubu posted. Cheers, will sort this now
  6. If you like karting games, then there are lots of races and events to take part in, plus online competition. The trophies require all stages to be starred (one playthrough) and some stages to be played on Expert. Collectibles can mostly be achieved within that timeframe, so there isn't much additional 'grinding' on top of that. The challenges have a high difficulty level for those new to previous Sonic racing games or karting games in general, but they're certainly achievable with practice (and following tips in my guide thread).
  7. There is no information on possible DLC at this time.
  8. Platinum medal Challenge stage Guide The challenge stages are different to the races, since you will not have the assistance of AI teammates. They are a true test of your racing skills! All stages can be played with 1 to 3 players in splitscreen. This guide assumes you are playing single player. Challenge stages have 2 stars, which are awarded with a silver medal or platinum medal respectively (these stack). To pass a challenge stage you will need to earn at least a silver medal. Traffic Attack If you're familiar with Traffic Attack from Sonic & SEGA All-stars Racing Transformed, then this version plays slightly differently. Goal Gain as many points as possible by driving through checkpoint gates, the same gates also award time to keep the stage going. Checkpoints award 100pts each. There are 3 types of traffic bots: Blue (do not move across the width of the track), Yellow (move at a set rate from side to side), Red (follows your movement on the track). Tips Use a Speed or Technique type character to manoeuvre with greater ease between the Bots Collision with a bot will be treated like a hazard and your character will be slowed down. You can usually afford to hit 1 or 2 robots in a stage and still achieve a Platinum medal score. Since they are nimbler, playing as a Technique type character will help you dodge around the Red bots with greater ease. Releasing a Drift Boost immediately after a corner may shoot you straight into a Bot. Be careful when releasing it. Sometimes, shorter drifts that don’t result in a level 1 Drift Boost are more efficient. Red bots are slow to change direction, the best way to avoid them is to drive towards them and dodge at the last moment. Ring Challenge Goal Collect as many Rings as possible. Collect Rings whilst drifting to increase the timer. Tips Use a Technique type character, they can absorb Rings from further away. They can also dart around the tracks quicker When drifting through Rings, it is better to have the Rings around the front of the car or slightly ahead (this is where they are absorbed to) Always try to Drift when going through Rings, whether it's a line or a small block. Every millisecond gained back counts. Prioritise lines down the track over small clusters You can hold Drift whilst you’re in the air if you’re bouncing over a gap! Daredevil Goal Drive as close to the Star posts as possible WITHOUT HITTING THEM to get the highest number of points. There is no way to increase the timer in this mode. Tips Use a Speed or Technique type character to manoeuvre better around the Star posts. I prefer Speed characters since they're faster and the handling is less twitchy so you can better avoid hitting the posts Moving slower and more gently around the posts is more efficient than speeding around them and hitting one The closer you get to the post, the more points you will be awarded. 50pts is the best you can score before multiplier. Drifting past a post will give you an immediate bonus of 20pts in addition to your skim points. Aim to get this for every post You can tap Drift () as you pass and still get this bonus! To gain a multiplier bonus, pass through the RED side of the post, this is usually the more hazardous or narrower side. The multiplier bonus caps at x1.5. Prioritise The multiplier bonus is on a timer, it will cancel when it runs out. Hitting a post will cancel your multiplier bonus There is a pattern to the Star posts. The RED side will often zigzag in its position along straight areas of track. With a perfect skim (50), a max multiplier (x1.5) and a Drift bonus, you can achieve 95pts per Star post! Destruction Goal Destroy as many targets as possible before the timer runs out. There are 3 target types: Red (50pts), Blue (75pts) and Green (100pts). There is no way to increase the timer in this mode. Tips Drift through a target to get a set bonus of 50pts Shooting targets with Orange Rockets will increase the score multiplier. As with Daredevil, maintaining this is key to getting those Platinum scores! X1.5 is the maximum multiplier If you're about to collect more Wisps, fire your remaining Rockets ahead of you to get the most out of your items Explosion damage from the Rocket can enable you to hit multiple targets at once if you aim well enough Eggpawn Assault Goal Destroy as many Eggpawn racers as possible before the timer runs out. Destroying Eggpawns awards points and additional time! Standard Eggpawn (50pts) - Yellow Hard-boiled Eggpawn (150pts) – Blue Eggsplosive Eggpawn (100pts) – Red with Yellow hazard lines Melee Eggpawn (100pts) - Pink with bunny ears Tips Make every shot count, a well-aimed shot will be worth 20 randomly fired ones Don’t fire off 3 Wisps quickly at the same target With enough force you can destroy Eggpawns by ramming them. Avoid ramming Eggsplosive and Melee Eggpawns Melee Eggpawns risk spinning you out and ruining your run, prioritise destroying these for safety The Hard-boiled Eggpawns may seem tough whilst the Standard Eggpawns are easy fodder points. Taking these out should be priority. A double-tap method works really for Hard-boiled Eggpawns. Fire a Rocket, then follow it up with a ram when it slows down Cheese Method Although this mode is not particularly difficult, there is a method to guarantee success every time! Position yourself near a line of Item Boxes Fire your Rockets ahead of you (space out your presses else they will destroy each other with splash damage) Move off the Item Box position to allow it to respawn and then collect another Eggpawns will continue spawning ahead of you at a distance keeping you safe from attacks Continue until Platinum!
  9. http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/7454/853.jpg Ad Ultimatum Perform a Team Ultimate 3 times in a single Race. The Team Ultimate is a new feature which rewards players for working as a team! It is a powerful boost of SPEED and INVINCIBILTY that can be used once the bar is filled. This is going to be your main priority during any team race. All 3 teammates contribute points to a joint Team Ultimate meter which, when filled, can be activated individually at any time, but using it at the same time makes it more powerful! The effect of Team Ultimate can be extended if you hit an enemy racer using the Team Ultimate! To fill the Team Ultimate bar you must use Team Actions: Skimboost – When a teammate is slowed down ahead of you, drive closely past them to catapult them back up to full speed. Teammates who require a Skimboost will have a golden arch around them Slingshot – The leading teammate will leave a trail that other teammates can drive in to increase there speed. Racers can earn 3 levels of Boost in the trail which is activated when they leave the trail. Item Transfer – When you pick up an Item from the track you may choose to transfer it to your teammates using . This is a way to interact with your team if they fall behind you. If you do not have an Item you can also press to request an Item from your teammates. Rival Takedown - When an enemy team is vying for your position, they will be highlighted in red, take out these players to protect your team position. Tips to pull off 3 Team Ultimates during a race you must utilise all the Team Actions throughout the race: If you're ahead of your team: Drive straighter to leave a better Slingshot trail for your team If you're behind your team: Drive in the golden trail for as long as possible If you see a teammate with a Skim Boost arch: aim to drive past them to pull them back up to speed Transfer Items to your teammates at every opportunity If you get x3 Wisps: Use two before transferring one to your team Prioritise shooting: Enemy racers with a red Rival highlight Tracks: Play on a longer track such as Sky Road or Haunted Castle to increase Game Mode: Play an Exhibition race with 5 laps Difficulty: Choose Normal - racers drive slower which will make the race last longer http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/7454/b39.jpg The Taunting Tanuki Complete Chapter 1 of Team Adventure Mode. Play through Chapter 7 and complete the final Stage 7-6 but side stages aren't required and you can take any route through. http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/7454/1f7.jpg Villainy 101 While playing as Eggman, spin out Sonic 3 times in the same Race. Sonic is a popular character and multiple players can play as Sonic in the same race so playing online races will increase your odds of encountering this character to hit him with a Wisp. Playing a game mode such as Rocket Race is ideal as you will have plenty of Rockets at your disposal to launch your attack! You can also use your Team Ultimate to spin out a racer too. This can easily be achieved in a private lobby with a player on a rival team playing as Sonic. You will not be able to achieve this in Team Adventure since you cannot play as Dr. Eggman in this mode.
  10. http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/7454/198.jpg Slingshot Pro Perform 100 Team Slingshots. (Across all Game Modes). The leading teammate on your team will leave a long golden trail behind them. This is the Slingshot trail and by driving in it you can generate a boost with up to 3 levels if you stay in the trail for long enough. To perform a Slingshot, line up in the golden lines behind a teammate and wait until you see a 'pop' which indicates your Slingshot boost is ready, then simply move out of the gold lines to use the boost - rinse and repeat this 100 times! Driving in the golden trail will build up a boost: When the boost is ready to use, you will see a pop effect as seen here: http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/7454/550.jpg Fire The Catapult! Perform 10 Team Slingshots in a single Race. Line up in the golden lines behind a teammate and wait until you see a 'pop' which indicates your Slingshot Boost is ready. Then simply move out of the gold lines to use the Boost. Repeat this 10 times in 1 race. http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/7454/5db.jpg There Is No "I" In Team... Perform Team Item Transfer, Skimboost, Team Slingshot and Team Ultimate in a single Race. In a single race you will need to: Collect an Item and transfer it to a teammate using . Drive past a slowed down teammate to Skimboost them. See Roadside assistance for more info. Drive behind a teammate to earn a Slingshot. See Slingshot pro for the walkthrough. Active a Team Ultimate using once the Team Ultimate Meter is full. http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/7454/4cf.jpg What's Mine Is Yours Send an Item Box to a Teammate 5 times during a Race. Collect 5 separate Item Boxes from the track and transfer each of the Wisps to a teammate using . http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/7454/c48.jpg Target Practice Land a hit on enemy racers with each use of a x3 Orange Rocket. By using Item Transfer, you will have the chance to get a x3 Orange Wisp. You will need to fire and successfully hit an enemy with all 3 Orange Rockets without missing! To increase your chances of getting x3 Orange Rockets from an Item Box you can use the 'Lucky Orange Rockets' Bonus Box. You can also achieve this in an Eggpawn Assault stage (First seen in Stage 4-1) where you will be given x3 Orange Rockets from every Item Box. http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/7454/2e2.jpg Threat Neutralized Use the White Boost to destroy a projectile. Using a White Boost Wisp just before a projectile hits you will dispel the projectile attack. Hold on to your White Boost until you see a warning for the incoming projectile wisp flash red at the bottom of the screen, that is the time to use your White Boost! You can also use to look behind you to get a better view on incoming attacks. http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/7454/541.jpg Cutting Corners Use the White Boost to avoid being slowed down by terrain. Certain surfaces next to or covering the track have slow-down, sinking or slippery effects. You can mitigate the effect on your speed with these by Boost for short periods. Using a Speed or Power type character, drive to a small area of slowdown on a track with a White Boost. Drive towards the surface and use the White Boost just before you drive onto it. You need to be off the surface by the time the White Boost ends. This can be done of the first corner of Wisp Circuit in Time Trial, where you will be given x3 White Boosts to start! http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/7454/91d.jpg Violent Void Use the Violet Void to absorb a projectile and hit the racer who fired it. The Violet Void will absorb any nearby Item Boxes, Rings or Wisps on the track including incoming projectiles, as well as slowing down any opponent who enter the radius of the Void. Absorbed Wisps will be given to the racer once the Void effect has finished. These absorbed Wisps can then be used to fire back at the player who used it, which is exactly what you need to do for this trophy. The online Vampire race type consists of primarily Violet Voids for defence and Orange Rockets to attack so this event is most suitable for this trophy. To achieve this in a normal race, play as a Power-type character to increase the chances of you acquiring a Violet Void from Item Boxes. Alternatively, if you use the 'Violet Void' Bonus Box before a race you will start with a Violet Void. http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/7454/611.jpg Road Block Block an incoming projectile with a Blue Cube. The Blue Cube can be used as a trap Wisp by dropping it behind you on the track, it will also defend against incoming projectiles. When you have collected a Blue Cube, keep an eye on any warning indicators for incoming projectiles along the bottom of the screen. When you have one incoming, hold the Blue Cube behind you by pressing and holding . The Blue Cube will be destroyed when it neutralises the projectile. http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/7454/ea2.jpg Thorn In Their Sides Cause 3 opponents to spin-out by shunting them with a Pink Spikes active. You can collect the Pink Spikes Wisp from an Item Box and when it is activated with it will spawn pink Spikes around your vehicle that will jab out to attack and spin-out nearby opponents. Play as a Power type character to be able to get Pink Spikes from the Item Boxes in addition to receiving them through Item Transfer. This trophy requires the player to spin-out 3 racers with 1 Pink Spikes Wisp. The best time to activate the Pink Spikes for this is when you’re amongst several rival team racers, this is much easier on narrower levels such as the Casino Park tracks. You want to try and hit 3 racers within seconds of each other, although they do not need to spin-out simultaneously. http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/7454/588.jpg Sonic Heroes Complete a Team Race with 2 additional local players on your Team. You will require 2 extra controllers for this to play in splitscreen. Additional local players must be added to the game from the main menu. You are required to finish a full race with all 3 players on a single team. This can be done in Team Adventure mode, Team Exhibition race or online. A Vita may be used in place of a controller. http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/7454/1cc.jpg Artful Dodging Avoid every hazard created by a Gray Quake. When activated, the Gray Quake flies ahead of the leading racer and burrows into the ground, spawning pillars of stone across the track. You will see this more often in 1st place. In order to earn this trophy, you must pass every stone pillar hazard from an enemy's Gray Quake without spinning out. Whilst this can be done on any track with the right skills, it is slightly more achievable on wider tracks such as Sky Road since there is more space to dodge around. The trophy takes a few seconds to pop after passing the stone pillars. You can also achieve this by taking and alternate route on the track to the Gray Quake if you're sneaky enough, however breaking through pillars whilst invincible will not count as dodging them. http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/7454/0a2.jpg The Customizer Is Always Right Achieve 1st place in a race with a fully customized Vehicle. In the Garage or before entering a race, apply 3 different Performance Mods to your vehicle, a new Paint Kit, Vinyl and Horn. Participate in any race in that vehicle and make sure to place 1st individually in the race. http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/7454/73b.jpg Shockproof Avoid the effect of being hit by an Ivory Lightning. Ivory Lighting Wisp is a lightning attack that spins-out all enemy racers ahead of the user. Players will see a static build-up above their character before the lightning hits them, allowing you to protect against the Lighting by activating Team Ultimate, Jade Ghost or Invincibility. The quickest way to achieve this is in an online Lightning race, where you will be given Invincibility to defend against incoming lighting. Wait for the lighting bar at the top of the screen to fill and just before it does, press and hold to protect against the Ivory Lightning attack and the trophy shall be yours. http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/7454/20b.jpg But There Is A Me... Come first in an online race. You personally must come first (not your team). This can be in a ranked, casual or custom session for any online event. it is easiest to accomplish this in a custom lobby since it will mostly consist of AI, although you will need 2 human players to join your lobby to begin. Make sure to customise your vehicle, utilise shortcuts and play as a human team, using Team Actions to obtain as many Team Ultimates as possible! Near the end of the final lap, have your 2 friends slow up and let you cross the finish line first.
  11. http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/7454/f8f.jpg A Friend In Speed Is A Friend Indeed Beat a friend's leaderboard time in Time Trial mode on any track. This will require someone from your PSN friends list to set a time on the leaderboard (a bronze time or above) for any track. You must find them in the leaderboards (easier to do via number), race their ghost directly and beat their time! Whale Lagoon is the shortest track in the game to do this on. http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/7454/116.jpg Whoa! I'm Getting Dizzy! Perform a triple Stunt. Whilst your car is in the air, flick the right stick to perform a stunt. Flick it 3 times before landing to perform a triple stunt. You must land the stunts successfully (finish the animations) for the trophy to count. http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/7454/94d.jpg Wisp You Were Here Gain 6 positions by using a single Yellow Drill. Hang back in the race, the further back you are from first place the more likely you are to win a Yellow Drill from the Item Boxes or an Item Transfer. There is a bit of luck involved here but if you have a number of racers close ahead, that is usually the perfect time to use it. http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/7454/498.jpg On The Skids Stay in a single Drift for over a minute. To Drift, hold and push the Left stick in the direction you wish to Drift. Eventually you will lose the ability to steer in the Drift, at this point you should momentarily let go of before quickly entering another Drift in the opposite direction. Repeat this process until the trophy pops. It is probably easiest to achieve this on Sky Road, after the first huge jump since the tracks are very wide and it is much easier to Drift on the straights. Playing in Time Trial will mean that you won’t have to worry about incoming Wisps. Don't worry about the jumps (apart from the first one), as long as you hold you will remain in the Drift whilst in the air. http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/7454/7fe.jpg Ringmaster Collect 20,000 Rings. Each track has gold Rings that can be collected during races. Rings increase your top speed (there is a finite amount of speed you can gain from Rings) whilst you're holding them. If you are spun-out by a hazard or attack you will lose all of your currently held Rings. Fortunately, this trophy only requires you to collect the Rings from the track rather than finishing a race with them and dropping them does not affect this trophy. This is a cumulative collection trophy so you can collect Rings in Team Adventure, Exhibition or online races. You will likely get this during your initial Team Adventure playthrough. The quickest way to collect Rings towards this trophy in by playing Ring Challenge events where you can pick up 1,000+ Rings a session. http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/7454/0fe.jpg So Far So Jaded Travel 200 meters over slow-down surfaces with a single use of a Jade Ghost. You can collect this Wisp from Item Boxes during a race, or by selecting the 'Jade Ghost' Bonus Box (these can be won from the Mod Pods machine) before a race to enter a race with a Jade Ghost. When activated, the Jade Ghost Wisp will turn your character non-corporeal allowing you to pass through racers and obstacles alike; you can also pass over off road slow-down surfaces with no punishment whilst it lasts! The most consistent area of slow-down to achieve this on the Haunted Castle track in the dungeon area beneath the tower. Activate the Jade Ghost with as soon as you drive onto the green ectoplasm and drive along it until the Ghost runs out. http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/7454/d51.jpg A Prize Every Time Spend 5,000 Credits. Credits are awarded at the end of a stage in Team Adventure stages, Exhibition races or online races based on your performance. You will be scored at the end of the race on the following: Earning stars Earning keys Achieving a high position (in a race) Collecting Rings (finishing the race holding the Rings will increase the score you receive) This score will then be converted into Credits. A multiplier will be applied to your score depending on the difficulty you played in, this will increase the amount of Credits you receive at the end of a stage further. You can spend Credits in the Mod Pod machine to win Bonus Boxes and Mods for your vehicles. Each use of the machine costs 10 Credits and you will need to spend 5,000 to earn this trophy. You will probably achieve this whilst aiming for Silver Performance Enhancing Mods. http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/7454/06e.jpg Cyan Of The Times Spin out 2 racers with Cyan Laser. You can collect this Wisp from Item Boxes during a race. When activated, the Cyan Laser Wisp will fire a laser from the front of your vehicle, when aimed at an opponent for a short period of time this will spin-out that racer. The laser will pass through obstacles so you can line up and spin-out multiple racers at once. You can aim the laser by turning or repositioning your vehicle. Play as a Power type character to be able to get a Cyan Laser from the Item Boxes in addition to receiving them through Item Transfer. Alternatively, if you use the 'Cyan Laser' Bonus Box (these can be won from the Mod Pods machine) before a race you will start with a Cyan Laser! When you are behind at least 2 opponents and you're on a reasonably flat piece of track, activate the Wisp with then aim the laser over the opponents making sure they spin-out before aiming for a 2nd racer. http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/7454/464.jpg Freezy Peasy Finish Frozen Junkyard without hitting any hazards or respawning. Play a race on the level 'Frozen Junkyard'. Avoid falling off the track and avoid bumping into anything hazardous (Ice walls, stalagmites, cargo doors, crusher door, lasers) and this trophy will be yours (being hit by a Wisp isn't considered a hazard). http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/7454/d64.jpg Performance Enhancing Mods Unlock all of the Performance Mods (Except Legendary Mods). Performance Mods are available to win from the Mod Pods machine using Credits. Each roll is worth 10 Credits. With 15 characters in the game, each with 3 areas of the vehicle that can be customised – Front, Rear and Wheels - there are 135 Performance Mods to collect in total. Additionally, 135 'Legendary' gold versions of those Mods are available too which are not required for the trophy. http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/7454/d6c.jpg Speed Painter Unlock all of the Vehicle Paint Kits. There are 28 Sonic-themed Paint Kits to collect: 15 unlocked by playing through Team Adventure (1 for each unlocked character) 5 through the Mod Pods machine (Casino Park, Glacierland, Green Hill, Hydrocity, Mirage Saloon) 1 unlocked for completing the final mission Stage 7-6 (Final Fortress) 7 unlocked for completing all the races in each chapter on Expert You do not need to beat the challenge stages as they have a locked difficulty. Those include: Traffic Attack Ring Challenge Daredevil Eggpawn Assault Destruction http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/7454/e0d.jpg This Time It's Personal Modify a vehicle in the Garage. In the garage you will be able to customise your vehicles. You can unlock more Mods by playing Team Adventure or spending Credits in the Mod Pod machine. Once you have a Mod, simply head over to the 'garage' and apply it to a vehicle but one modification should be sufficient for this trophy to pop.
  12. http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/7454/9df.jpg Teamwork Makes the Dream Work! Collect all Trophies. Unlock all 51 trophies for Team Sonic Racing. http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/7454/0c9.jpg You're Fired Cause an opponent to spin-out using a Red Burst. You can collect this Wisp from Item Boxes during a race. When activated, the Red Burst Wisp leaves a trail of flames in your wake as you drive. When an opponent drives in these flames they will spin-out. To pull this off, make sure enemy racers are close behind you, then activate the Burst with and drive in a zigzag fashion across the track to maximise the chances of catching an enemy in your flames! This is easier to achieve on a narrower track such as Ocean View or Whale Lagoon. Play as a Speed-type character to increase the chances of you acquiring a Red Burst from Item Boxes. Alternatively, if you use the 'Red Burst' Bonus Box before a race you will start with a Red Burst. http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/7454/977.jpg Quick Off The Mark Perform a maximum Start Line Boost. The maximum level boost that can be achieved on the startline is 3. During the race countdown, you can press to rev your engine and get a Start Line Boost. You should aim to press as the chime plays just before each of the numbers appears on the screen 3, 2, 1! The time between the chimes is equal and there are no variations of this for the different characters. http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/7454/a4d.jpg Let Me Introduce Myself Finish an online race. This can be in a ranked, casual or custom session for any online event. You do not need to win the race, simply complete all laps and cross the finish line. http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/7454/fda.jpg Roadside Assistance Perform a Skimboost on a slow-moving Teammate. When a teammate is travelling much slower than you, a golden arch will pulsate around them, which indicates that you can perform a 'Skimboost'. To perform a Skimboost, simply drive through the golden arch around the slow-moving teammate. This will give them a huge boost of speed. http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/7454/522.jpg Twinkle Twinkle Earn every star in Team Adventure Mode Chapter 1. There are 47 hidden keys to collect through Team Adventure mode which are achieved by completing special objectives on select stages. The requirements for these hidden keys can be viewed by highlighting individual stages in the map menu. For the keys to unlock at the end of the stage you must complete at least one star challenge at the same time for that stage. It is not enough just to complete the key requirements (even if you have previously earned all the stars for that stage). http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/7454/372.jpg Go Hard Or Go Home Complete all possible events on hard in any Team Adventure Mode chapter. You must beat every race in a single chapter of Team Adventure mode on Hard difficulty. The easiest chapter to do this on is Chapter 1 since there are less races and there is only 1 other team to compete against. You can choose Hard difficulty for all races from the beginning of the game. See Well, That Wasn't So Hard for more details. http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/7454/4f7.jpg Well, That Wasn't So Hard Complete all Team Adventure chapters on Hard difficulty. You must complete every race in all 7 chapters in Hard difficulty. You can tell which stages you have finished in Hard difficulty from the Team Adventure map. Team Sonic Racing is the brand-new karting game by the team who brought you Sonic & All-Stars Racing and Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed. Back with a unique spin on racing games with racing teams and Team Actions. Teams consist of 3 racers, who can interact with each other to get the best positions in the race. At the end of the race, the combined positions of the team will affect the final results in a tally. Play as a team, win as a team. General tips Don't forget to use the Mod Pods machine as you progress. You will earn performance Mods for your vehicle that can greatly improve your performance and help you to perfect your personal play style. Team Ultimate – A powerful boost that can be used once the bar is filled. This is going to be your main priority during a team race. All 3 teammates contribute to a joint Team Ultimate bar which, when filled, can be used individually at any time but using it at the same time makes it more powerful. Slingshot, Item Transfer and Skimboost to the Ultimate victory! Utilising the Team Actions is the most efficient way to play and win in this game. All of these contribute to the Team Ultimate meter: o Skimboost – When a teammate is slowed down ahead of you, drive closely past them to catapult them back up to full speed. o Slingshot – The leading teammate will leave a trail that other teammates can drive in to build up a Boost to push you forward. o Item Transfer – When you pick up an Item from the track you may choose to offer it to your teammates instead of using it. This is a way to interact with your team if they fall behind you. o Rival Takedown - When an enemy team is vying for your position, they will be highlighted in red, take out these players to protect your team position. Each team is comprised of 3 types which each have different abilities and stats: o Speed – High speed and moderate handling. This class can use a radial burst ability after drifting which can be used to block incoming projectiles. Its extra Item Box Wisps are: Red Burst o Technique – Excellent handling and acceleration. This class can drive across slowdown surfaces with no effect!! Its extra Item Box Wisps are: Magenta Soundwave o Power – Excellent defence and boost. This class can destroy certain hazards without being slowed down. Its extra Item Box Wisps are: Pink Spikes, Cyan Laser, Violet Void Stunting over jumps (flick the right stick) and drifting around corners (holding whilst driving forward) are still key to getting ahead, make sure you're using this to the best of your ability! Anything referred to as a 'Boost' will actual increase your top speed. However, not all Boosts accelerate you to top speed. Step 1: Play through Team Adventure Mode races on Hard difficulty In Team Sonic Racing, the difficulty affects both the speed of the race and the aggressiveness of the AI. Each of the 'race' stages has a difficulty level, you can select Hard from the beginning. This will unlock all the characters and earn you a lot of credits to use in the Mod Pods machine, where you can earn mods that affect vehicle Performance and Cosmetics. You can also get Bonus Boxes from this machine which will give you a single-use bonus for 1 stage. It is recommended that you use this machine after every couple of races. By the end of your playthrough you will definitely have these trophies: The Taunting Tanuki Dimensional Rift Dark Arrival Cheaters Never Win Between Zavok And A Hard Place Kidnapped! The final showdown Go hard or go home Well, that wasn't so hard You may also have picked up these along the way (don't fret if not, because we'll get to those later): Ringmaster Ad ultimatum Slingshot pro Fire the catapult! There is no 'I' in team… What's mine is yours Roadside assistance Quick off the mark Whoa! I'm getting dizzy! Target practice Threat neutralized You're fired Road block Artful dodging Wisp you were here Thorn in their sides Cyan of the times So far so jaded Freezy peasy Step 2: Play through Team Adventure Mode races on Expert difficulty You need to play through the races on Expert difficulty to acquire all of the Cosmetic paint Kits which will contribute to this trophy: Speed painter I highly recommend playing as a Power type character through the Hard difficulties. Power have stiffer handling so they take some skill to steer around the track but they have the best Boost stats (which takes the Top speed higher). If used correctly by a human player you will get the most out of this team member – more so than Technique who can cut across slowdown surfaces or speed who are faster overall. Step 3: Unlock all the stars and keys in Team Adventure Mode Each stage has 1 to 3 star tasks that can be unlocked. You will probably have unlocked a number of these during step 1, since you need stars to progress through the story. You will be able to see the requirements from the map screen. Some stages have extra tasks to complete that will unlock keys. You will be able to see the requirements from the map screen. If you unlock all the keys of a chapter you will earn a Cosmetic Mod for your vehicles. You will get these trophies for your collection efforts: Twinkle, twinkle Starry-eyed Reach for the stars Starlight, star bright Star power Celestial Supernova Can you feel the sunshine? Cagophilist Step 4: Miscellaneous race trophies Here you will be aiming to cleanup on any specific trophies missed during your Hard and Expert playthroughs. Most miscellaneous trophies can be boosted by either adding a second controller and setting up a custom Exhibition race in splitscreen or setting up a Custom online lobby and inviting +2 players to the lobby and coordinating your efforts. You will get these trophies for your collection efforts: Let me introduce myself A prize everytime Performance enhancing Mods The customizer is always right This time it’s personal On the skids Cutting corners Violent Void Shockproof …but there is a me A friend in speed is a friend indeed Villainy 101 Step 5: Getting everything from the Mod Pods machine You should have earned enough Credits to collect everything from the Mod Pods machine by now. However, if by this stage you have not acquired all the Performance Mods, this is the time to do it. Playing stages in Expert mode will increase the amount of Credits earned after a stage. Once you have all the trophies, you will earn: Teamwork Makes the Dream Work!
  14. It's pretty much as stated - 3 players locally, ie. splitscreen.
