  1. Your Remnant: From the Ashes Guide need an overhaul please, because the latest DLC has brought major changes with it:

    https://www.playstationtrophies.org/forum/remnant-from-the-ashes/346377-subject-2923-dlc-platinum-does-not-need-online-play.html

  2. The fact that you must play alone in a game made for co-op play is absurd. Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against people who wish to play alone - It's just funny to me that co-op breaks trophies in every Borderlands game., and you are better playing this game alone, and possibly dying of boredom on the way, than playing this game with your friends
  3. I decided to limit the number of games I play to three, providing that at least one of them is an online game. 1. Victor Vran 2. World War Z (co-op with my friend) 3. Alienation (Another co-op).
  4. If there is someone who is still playing the game or had just started and is about to get the Foursome trophy, then I would love to join in on as well. PSNID: Iksde GMT + 1 Cheers.
  5. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year :).

  6. Let me rephrase the question then. Would you buy the game for half the calling price? I think that it is the price for it on the ongoing sale right now.
  7. This is a question to all those who bought the game and are either playing it or have stopped playing? I want to know what is great in this game, and whether it is worth to invest time into it.
  8. http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/7643/7cb.jpg Butterfly Effect Defeat Ixillis XV Ixillis XV is encountered in the Grotto on Corsus. He is the only World Boss on Corsus, which means that you do not have to worry about fighting anything else or re-rolling the location. The entire fight takes part on a bridge, which adds to the fight's difficulty. Ixillis's attacks include a downwards slash, a horizontal slash, or a bomb lob at the beginning of the fight. Dodge either of his attacks and shoot at him. When you see him raising his staff above his head, it means that he is summoning orbs of energy. These will chase you around and explode on impact. However, you can destroy them as they come to you. After a moment, the boss will reel backward and start heading away from you. At this moment, turn around to see another Ixillis. When the first boss comes back, he will begin charging an area-wide scream in tandem with the other boss. You can shoot at the bosses to make them stop - doing so will cause a massive amount of damage to either boss. When there are two of them, the attack pattern of the first boss changes to trying to push you from the bridge with a blast of energy. If you defeat the two bosses at roughly the same time, you will get the material required to craft the Guardian Axe. Otherwise, you will get the material for the Hive Cannon. http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/7643/563.jpg Dark Awakening Defeat the Dreamer The Dreamer is the final boss of the game. He is fought in Ward 17, which is unlocked after talking to Andrew Ford. The fight with the Dreamer is divided into two phases. During the first phase, the Dreamer will move slowly towards you and try to hit you with his spinning attack. Roll away from his attack and shoot him a few times in the head. Whenever he uses his two-hit slam combo, dodge to the side once, and again after he slams the second time. If he spins around and tries to draw you closer to his position, then continuously roll away. After a minute or two, the Dreamer will fall to the ground, and the second phase will begin. Phase two starts with the Dreamer falling into the gentle embrace of his nightmare armor, thus changing the name of the boss to the Nightmare. Don't shoot the boss as the damage you will be doing is very low at best. Keep moving and dodge his attacks to the side until he warps you to the shadow dimension. While in the other dimension, run towards one of the portals while killing monsters on the way. The more monsters you kill, the bigger the damage output on the way out. After leaving the shadow dimension, use the Explosive Shot Weapon Mod to deal massive damage to the Nightmare, then shoot the boss with standard ammunition. If done correctly, the boss's armor will break, allowing you to deal enormous damage for a couple of seconds before the boss reinforces the armor. The last step will repeat until the fight is over. There is no trick or gimmick that you can do in this fight as this boss allows only the Repulsor to be crafted. http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/7643/c21.jpg Untouchable Defeat a world boss in single player without taking damage Note: This has to be done in Offline mode. The easiest boss to fight in order to get this trophy is Singe. Go to Ward 13 and start a new adventure on Earth. Re-roll the adventure every time until you see the location called the Ash Yard popping up. Singe's attacks are easy to dodge and you should not have any problems defeating him without getting hit. http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/7643/fd3.jpg Shot Through the Heart Return the Swamp Guardian's heart to the Undying King After meeting the Undying King, he will ask you to bring him the Guardian's Heart and open a portal for you. Go through the portal to another realm and defeat that realm's World Boss. Bring the item obtained from the Ixillis to the Undying King to get the trophy, some scrap and the Riven scythe. http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/7643/b42.jpg Not So Lucky Return Coin to Ace During your exploration of Earth, you may come across the lucky Coin, which is a random drop in the game. If you find this ring, bring it to Ace and exhaust her dialog options. She will reward you with a Magnum Revolver. http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/7643/a9c.jpg Precious Return Ring to Reggie During your exploration of Earth, you may come across the Tarnished Ring, which is a random drop in the game. If you find this ring, bring it to Reggie and exhaust his dialog options. He will reward you with the Scavenger perk. http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/7643/0d4.jpg Are You Ok? Meet the Root Mother Story related, can't be missed You will meet the Root Mother in the Church area on Earth. After talking to her, she will ask for your help in defending her against a large wave of enemies. You will get the trophy after talking to her. http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/7643/ea8.jpg What is the Labyrinth? Meet the Labyrinth Keeper Story related, can't be missed You will meet the Labyrinth Keeper after your encounter with the Root Mother. http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/7643/4d4.jpg Death Warmed Over Meet the Undying King Story related, can't be missed You will get this trophy after meeting Ezlan, the Undying King on Rhom, for the first time. http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/7643/910.jpg Like a Moth to a Flame Meet the Swamp Queen You will meet the Swamp Queen while going for the Guardian's Heart. She and the Undying King will ask you to bring the heart to either one of them. If you bring the heart to the Queen, she will give you the Crossbow and the Slayer Set. Talking to her will net you the trophy as well. http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/7643/888.jpg Changing of the Guard Meet the Pan Rebel Leader You will meet the Rebel Leader in the forest of Yaesha. I think that this trophy is unmissable on your first playthrough. After defeating a large wave of enemies in the forest, she will approach you and tell you where to find Andrew Ford. http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/7643/c73.jpg The Founder Meet Andrew Ford You will find Andrew Ford on Yaesha. After defeating the World Boss, you will find a prison where the Founder is locked. Shoot at the lock to open the door and talk to him. After the conversation is over, you will get the trophy.
  9. http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/7643/b4a.jpg Fire in the Sky Defeat Singe Singe is encountered in the location called the Ash Yard on Earth. He looks like a wood-carved dragon. He attacks with spitting large fireballs at you (two fireballs shot one at a time). At times, he will try to close the distance between the two of you. His other attacks include slamming his arms on the ground and igniting fire around you, trying to breathe fire at you from a melee range. All of the attacks are easily avoidable, and you should not have any problem dealing with him. As with other bosses, Singe will spawn minions during the fight. Be on the lookout for small enemies as they can surprise you. Destroy his tail before killing him to craft the Smolder or defeat him without destroying his tail to craft Spitfire. If you fought Singe during your playthrough, you must use the adventure mode to fight the Ent or re-roll your campaign. http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/7643/7b4.jpg The Bigger They Are... Defeat the Ent The Ent is encountered in the Choking Hallow on Earth. As his name suggests, he is an enormous living tree. He attacks with slamming his fists at you when you are at close range. When you are farther away from him, he will stomp his foot on the ground, causing shockwaves, dash through the shockwaves to avoid getting hit. After decreasing his health by about 30%, he will start launching explosive spores at you - this attack is indicated by the Ent leaning forward, you can avoid the bombs by running to the side. As with other bosses, the Ent will spawn minions during the fight. Be on the lookout for small enemies as they can surprise you. Destroy his legs before killing him to craft the Petrified Maul or defeat him without destroying his legs to craft the Sporebloom. If you fought the Ent during your playthrough, you must use the adventure mode to or re-roll your campaign fight Singe. http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/7643/8ec.jpg Watch the Totems! Defeat the Totem Father Totem Father is encountered in the Tempest Court on Yaesha. Before going through the Fog Gate to fight him, take a look around the map to find a totem. The color of this totem defines the drop obtained from killing the Totem Father. If the totem is red, you can craft the Voice of the Tempest. If the totem is blue, you can craft the Eye of the Storm. The Totem Father is an easy, albeit annoying boss. He will run around the area like a maniac and jump on top of the totems. While on top, he will charge two thunder balls and shoot them at you, one at a time. From time to time, he will jump down and slam a rod on the ground. These rods will generate electric fields that will chase you around the map, and explode after getting to you. You can either destroy the lightning rods or ignore them altogether. As with other bosses, the Totem Father will spawn minions during the fight. Be on the lookout for small enemies as they can surprise you. I suggest ignoring the smaller enemies (unless you have no ammo, which means that you need to kill them to get some) and focusing on the totem father. The boss will also try to jump at you from the totems. If he does that, dodge his attack and immediately roll away a few times as he will swipe at you. If you fought the Totem Father during your playthrough, you must use the adventure mode to or re-roll your campaign fight the Ravager. http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/7643/7d8.jpg Wolf of the Woods Defeat the Pan Wolf The Pan Wolf referred to as the Ravager in-game can be found in the Ravager's Haunt on Yaesha. After entering the map, the Ravager will not attack you. This is due to the fact that you may skip this fight by playing a lullaby that will calm the wolf enabling you to talk to him, which results in crafting the Claw of the Jungle God. You can find the Ravager in a small cave to the left. Attack him to start the fight. The Ravager will lunge at you from time to time so avoid his attacks. After a while, he will run away from the map and rush back-in with three enemies on his back, kill those as soon as possible as they deal a lot of damage. His attacks are extremely fast so be on your toes at all times. After defeating him, you will get the material for crafting the Curse of the Jungle God. If you fought the Ravager during your playthrough, you must use the adventure mode to or re-roll your campaign fight the Totem Father. To play the lullaby, shoot the bells in the following order: 5-1-5-1-2-3-4-1 where the right bell is 1, the left bell is 2, the center bell is 3, the far-left bell is 4, the far-right bell is 5. Keep in mind that playing the lullaby voids this trophy. http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/7643/118.jpg Undying, Eh? Defeat the Undying King The Undying King is met after defeating either the Harrow or the Clavier on Rhom. He will task you with obtaining the Guardian's Heart from another world. You can accept this task and bring him the heart, which will result in the Shot Through the Heart trophy or you can refuse and initiate a boss fight with him. Ezlan, the Undying King, starts the fight with a few Vyr standing next to him. Kill these enemies and start shooting at the Boss, who will spawn two orbs above himself. You must destroy these orbs as they are annoying little buggers that will keep shooting at you. Like the other bosses, the Undying King will summon his aides. You must get rid of them as they pack quite the punch. As for the Boss himself, he will calmly walk towards you, ready to get shot in the face. Dodge his attacks by rolling towards him. When you see him running at you with his scythes, wait for him to prepare his attack and roll towards him, as well. When you see him walking towards the pedestal, go with him and shoot at him. Stand near him and prepare your Mender's Aura to get some heals while killing what will seem like an army of Lurkers. This process will repeat a few times throughout the entire fight. When you finally defeat him, don't get cocky - because the Undying King will respawn and fight you again. Kill his minions, wait for his attacks, roll towards him, go to the pedestal with Mender's Aura ready, and kill the Lurkers. Try to chip away at his health bar at all times when you are not dealing with anybody else. After he dies, you will get the material for crafting the Ruin rifle. http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/7643/a5a.jpg The Keymaster Defeat the Claviger The Claviger is encountered in the Spindle on Rhom and is one of the easiest bosses in the game, as opposed to the Harrow, who is another World Boss on Rhom. Upon entering the area with the Claviger, he will summon two orbs that you need to destroy. After doing so, walk to sides and keep shooting the boss. After a moment, he will summon four to five Vyr enemies that will start shooting at you. Here's your choice. Ignore those enemies and let the Claviger absorb them after spinning the area to get the material for the World Breaker or kill the enemies as soon as they spawn to get the material for the Particle Accelerator. Either way, his attacks include throwing balls of energy that are dodged by walking from left to right or a laser that is dodged by walking to the side. He will re-summon both the protective orbs and the Vyr. Trust me, he is easier than everything else on Rhom. If you fought the Harrow instead of fighting the Claviger (like I did), you must re-roll your campaign or use the adventure mode to create an instanced version of Rhom.

  11. http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/7643/c5a.jpg Mod Enthusiast Acquire 15 weapon mods Weapon Mods act as active abilities in Remnant: From the Ashes. You can have up to three active weapon mods at the same time and you can swap two of them at any time of the game. You can swap two out of three mods due to the fact that the third mod can come from a melee boss-weapon. Weapon Mods can be obtained by crafting or by killing certain bosses. Note that boss weapons come with their unique modifications that cannot be unequipped. Before using a Weapon Mod, you will have to charge it by shooting enemies. You can level up traits by obtaining trait points, which in turn are earned by finishing side quests and killing enemies. As you will kill a lot enemies in the game and I mean a lot, to level up a few traits to the maximum level. If you want to get this trophy out of the way quickly, put the first 20 trait points into any of the first few traits available to you. http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/7643/502.jpg One Person's Scrap... Acquire 50,000 scrap See Scrap Collector for more information. http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/7643/36c.jpg Scrap Harvester Acquire 100,000 scrap See Scrap Collector for more information. http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/7643/104.jpg Scrap Collector Acquire 200,000 scrap You get scrap for finishing side quests, killing enemies, destroying environmental objects and selling stuff. This is going to be your last trophy, because getting this much scrap takes a lot of time. I suggest putting some points into the Scavenger trait and destroying every environmental object you can (anything made of wood or glass). Also, this trophy is cumulative, meaning that you do not need to hold 200,000 scrap in your inventory. Sadly, I have not found any farming methods and I doubt there are any. http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/7643/e46.jpg Ready For Action Craft a weapon using material from a defeated world boss World Bosses include the Singe and the Ent on Earth, the Harrow and the Claviger on Rhom, Ixillis on Corsus and the Ravager and the Totem Father on Yaesha. Each of these will yield a unique crafting material upon death. Bring this material along with some Lumenite Crystals and some scrap to McCabe in Ward 13 to craft a unique Boss-themed weapon. You will get this trophy after defeating the Singe or the Ent on Earth and crafting either Spitfire, Smolder, Sporebloom or Petrified Maul. http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/7643/0ca.jpg Like a Boss Upgrade a boss weapon to +5 See Push It to the Limit for more information on upgrading. Boss weapons are crafted after bringing Lumenite Crystals, some scrap and a unique material dropped by bosses to McCabe in Ward 13. http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/7643/42d.jpg This Watch... Acquire Mudtooth's pocket watch While being on Earth, you may encounter an old gentleman called Mudtooth. He will be located in a destroyed aircraft. Talk to him and exhaust all his dialog options related to his stories and he will give you his pocket watch. Keep in mind that the pocket watch is connected to the Brabus boss encounter. Meeting Brabus on Earth can lead to the following outcomes: If you have the pocket watch in your inventory: Give the pocket watch to Brabus and obtain the Bandit Armor Set Don't give the pocket watch to Brabus and then defeat him for the Explosive Shot Weapon mod. If you don't have the pocket watch in your inventory and you are playing co-op: Kill your co-op partner for the Cold As Ice trait. http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/7643/cf0.jpg Heart of a Dragon Upgrade Dragon Heart After meeting the Root Mother and defending her from the horde, she will move to the area with Reggie and Ace in Ward 13. After she moves to the base, the Simulacrum upgrade material will start spawning in the game. Bring her the Simulacrum, along with a few Lumenite Crystals and a whopping 1,000 scrap to upgrade the Dragon Heart. Each Dragon Heart upgrade increases the number of times you can heal with before replenishing the uses at a crystal. http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/7643/813.jpg Fade to White Activate the Ward 13 World Stone Story related, can't be missed. You will get this trophy after activating the crystal in Ward 13 after the tutorial.

  13. Trophy Guide From the Ashes Acquire all trophies Obtain all the other trophies in the game to get this one. Congratulations! Not So Special Defeat 100 special enemies Special enemies are one of the enemy variants encountered around the game. A unique sound effect can be heard whenever one of them spawns on the map. Due to the sheer number of enemies and the fact that you will die from time to time, it is pretty much impossible to miss this one. Special enemies include: The Root Brute, the Howler, the Hulk, the Hunter, the Immolator and the Assassin for the Root faction. The Pan Priest and the Pan Brute for the Pan Faction. The Berzerker and the Buri Shaman for the Buri Tribesmen. There is also an enemy on Rohm looking like a bloated insect with something that looks like a rifle on its back. He is treated as a special enemy but I don't know its name. You can encounter this enemy inside of the dungeons on Rohm. Other enemies will include the Lurkers and Anointed (Vyr), Ghasts and flying skulls. The Infected Swamp Elf and the Colossus for the Iskal faction. I think that two more enemy variants are considered special but I don't know their names. First…But Not the Last! Acquire first trait See Unleash Your Potential for more information. An enemy known as the Root, has taken over Earth and it is your job to save the realm and get rid of the Root. In Remnant: From the Ashes, you take the role of an unnamed protagonist and venture through multiple worlds to save your own. Walkthrough: Step 1: Create your character and start the game During this step, your job is to play the game and beat it. Keep in mind that every world (realm) is semi-randomized and your areas may be different than your friend's. If you have an aversion to playing games in multiplayer mode, then I am sad to break it to you but this game has to be played online for a bit. Try getting a friend, a random player or someone from the boosting thread to kill you ten times and revive you ten times. Do the same thing to them - this will get you a few traits. Once you have all the traits from the co-operative perspective of the game, you can play solo. See Unleash Your Potential for more information about traits. 15. Folks have already been asking if we can get it in a patch or DLC in the future. To be honest, I was disappointed by the fact that the outfits are lackluster recolors of the same clothing.
