  1. I gave it a 3, it's so simple. And I'm not that good at racing games either. I can only imagine getting Gold was more difficult in an older patch or something, since I was gaining points from almost every race I finished. And you can just exit to the main menu if you get rammed out of the race and you don't lose any points for doing so.

  3. 3/10, bit harder than the first one from what I remember and not as polished. And as some others have said, the controls are not very good either, sometimes you press jump and your character doesn't jump.

Please see my video below for how to get through Stage 3: [ame] [/ame] http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/9029/e31.jpg With all my skills! Reach the 1st boss in Hard Difficulty Story related, can't be missed. You get this trophy for entering the boss room on Stage 1 while playing on Hard Difficulty. The boss doesn't need to be killed to earn this trophy, however there is a separate trophy for killing the Stage 1 boss. There are a few slight differences when playing in Hard vs playing in Easy: You have 7 Hearts on Easy but only 5 Hearts on Hard Vending machines that restore your health cost 20 coins to use on Easy but 40 coins on Hard. However you do get all abilities unlocked from Stage 1 in Hard (sword throw, dodge/roll etc.). Please see my video below for how to get through Stage 1 on Hard Difficulty: [ame] [/ame] http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/9029/4e3.jpg I can now roll Defeat the 1st boss Story related, can't be missed. The first boss is a robot spider which will spend most of it's time on the ceiling. Here's how to kill it: First Phase The boss will walk on the ceiling dropping bombs on you from above. Make sure you avoid these by walking under them when you see an opportunity. He will then fire a 'beach ball' type of projectile towards a wall. This will bounce off the wall and explode in the center of the floor. There will also be four circular projectiles that travel out from the explosion so jump over one if it's heading in your direction. The boss will then drop down to the center of the screen. Make sure you're not underneath him when he drops down. When he's on the ground he will be vulnerable - this is your opportunity to start doing damage! You should be able to get at least two full combos in, and possibly a couple more hits. Second Phase The boss will then jump up to the ceiling and walk to one of the top corners. He will fire laser beams that go straight down to the ground, and then travel horizontally towards you so make sure you're jumping over these. Stand in the opposite corner of the room to give yourself time to react. The boss then moves across to the other corner of the ceiling and fires more laser beams. These are 'homing' laser beams and will travel straight for your character so like before stand on the opposite side of the room and focus on avoiding them. Next, he'll again fire his 'beach ball' projectile, so again stand to one side of the room so you're not in range of the explosion when it goes off in the middle of the room, then jump over the smaller projectiles that come off the blast. Finally, he will drop down to the middle of the room so run up to him and do two more full combos. This should be enough to defeat him and move you on to the next stage. Please see my video below for how to defeat the Stage 1 boss: [ame] [/ame] http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/9029/420.jpg I can now throw my sword Defeat the 2nd boss Story related, can't be missed. The second boss is a robot American football player with a jetpack (actually I have no idea if that's what he's meant to be but it's the best description I could come up with!. Here's how to kill it: First Phase The robot will fly to the top right corner of the screen and fire a 'homing blade' towards you which is too large to jump over. Use the button to roll through it which will allow you to avoid taking damage from it. After doing this a few times, the robot will hover back and forth throwing bombs down at you. Walk or roll away from these. Some will explode immediately, some will take a few seconds to detonate. The robot will then drop down to the ground and begin to charge towards you. You will need to roll through him with to avoid taking damage.During the fourth roll, the robot will fall over in the middle of the screen. This is when he becomes vulnerable. You should be able to get 3 full combos in at this point. Second Phase Spiked walls will come from the sides at the start of the phase - stand in the middle to avoid taking damage from these. The robot then mixes his 'blade throw' and 'bomb drop' moves together so dodge/walk to avoid each of these. After a while, one spiked wall at a time will be added to these two moves so stand on the opposite side of the room to the spiked wall to avoid taking damage. The robot will then drop down and charge towards you again like he did in the first phase. Again, after the fourth roll he will become vulnerable allowing you to get another 3 full combos in. Third Phase There are no new moves here, the robot will just be faster than before and when he charges, the spiked walls will also be active. He should be defeated after one further full combo. Please see my video below for how to defeat the Stage 2 boss: [ame] [/ame]
  5. Trophy Guide: http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/9029/c10.jpg Platinum Barbarian Get all other trophies Once you've unlocked all the other trophies, you'll earn this shiny new Platinum! http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/9029/870.jpg Not good Hit a homless guy Missable! There are two 'homeless guys' on the very first screen of the game. Simply walk up to either one of them and press to earn the trophy. They will not attack you even if you attack them. I have marked the trophy as 'Missable' since it's technically possible to walk past them and on to the next screen without attacking. However, since it's the very first screen in the game, simply start a new game and hit one of them if you forget to do it on your first playthrough. http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/9029/adb.jpg Combo Time Complete a full combo A full combo is when you press the button 3 times in a row to complete Cybarian's sword combo. There is some timing needed for this, since mashing the button won't work and will result in Cybarian spinning around and falling over. Cybarian's sword will glow yellow momentarily after you press to make the first attack. This is when you need to press again to execute the second part of the combo. Do the same thing to execute the third and final part of the combo. I would practice executing this on the first screen of the game so you become used to the timing, as this will be your main way of killing enemies in the game. Technically, you can go through the whole game without pulling off a full combo, but I think this would be extremely unlikely because it's one of the most efficient ways of killing enemies. It's also worth noting that you can earn this trophy just doing a full combo on an empty screen. It doesn't need to be done against an enemy to obtain the trophy. http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/9029/e48.jpg What's this yellow thing? Get a coin See I'm rich now http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/9029/99b.jpg I've a lot of these Get 20 coins See I'm rich now http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/9029/49e.jpg I'm rich now Get 40 coins Coins can be found throughout the game from two different sources: enemies drop them when they die, and there are also orange containers on a lot of screens (see the image below) which release coins when you destroy them. Make sure you grab them quickly, as they despawn if you leave them on the ground for too long without collecting them. You will most likely obtain this trophy midway through Stage 1. This trophy is cumulative and so doesn't need to be done on the same playthrough. Therefore even if you collect 30 coins and die and then restart the game and collect 10 coins, this trophy will pop. http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/9029/cb0.jpg Recovering Buy 1 heart See Over-Damaged http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/9029/43d.jpg Damaged Buy 3 hearts See Over-Damaged http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/9029/ac8.jpg Over-Damaged Buy 5 hearts Hearts are obtained from vending machines (see the image below) and allow you to restore your health. There's usually 2 or 3 of these vending machines in each stage. Hearts cost 20 coins on Easy mode, and 40 coins on Normal or Hard mode (although there's no point playing on Normal mode for the purposes of obtaining the Platinum). To buy a heart, walk up to a vending machine and press the button. Once you've bought a total of 5 hearts, the trophy will pop. This trophy is cumulative and so doesn't need to be done on the same playthrough. Therefore even if you buy 3 hearts and die, then restart the game and buy 2 more hearts - this trophy will pop. http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/9029/5de.jpg What kind of sorcery is this? Destroy a Laser Eye Missable! The screens you find 'Laser Eye' enemies on can be bypassed without killing them which is what makes this missable so make sure you kill at least one to obtain the trophy. They can be found throughout the game on every stage but I would recommend doing this on Stage 1 to get it out of the way as soon as possible (see the trophy tile for a visual for what they look like). They fire a laser beam on a set pattern which they target straight at your character wherever you are on screen so simply hide under some cover until the laser stops, then hit the Laser Eye. Thankfully they're amongst the weakest enemies in the game and will die to a single sword hit. http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/9029/1aa.jpg Why is he hitting me with a tree? Either roll with or jump straight up after your full combo with to avoid the hit, then do another full combo. The first two hits of the second full combo will kill the fat enemy. Do cheat codes disable trophies?: No known cheats available. Additional peripherals required?: No. Introduction: Cybarian The Time Travelling Warrior is an 8 bit style platformer from Ratalaika Games, heavily inspired by 80s action movies like Conan, Terminator and Robocop. You control a Barbarian that has to use his huge sword to slash his way through a variety of city locations, killing any bad guys or robots he come across, while avoiding obstacles like spike pits, pillars of fire and even bigger end of stage robot bosses. Cybarian's move repertoire increases as he moves through the stages, gaining a roll that allows him to dodge enemies after Stage 1 and then the ability to throw his sword like a boomerang after Stage 2. The road to the Platinum is quite straight forward. Most of the trophies will come naturally just by playing through the levels, however you may need to play Stage 1 twice if you opt to do your first playthrough on Easy. Tips: While this is a reasonably easy Platinum, there are definitely some tricky sections. Here are some general tips for progressing through the game: Before you start, turn the 'Scanlines' to 'Off' in the Settings for the game. This is a personal preference but I found it easier to focus on the game when these were turned off. There's a secret room to the left of your starting location on Stage 1 with about 25 coins in containers Master the timing of the 'full combo' since this will make getting through the game a lot easier Collect all the coins you can, because these will allow you to top up your health at any vending machines you come across When you enter a new room, take your time to watch the pattern of any obstacles before you run through it. This is especially important in stages 2 and 3 that have a lot more obstacles to avoid such as spike pits and fire pillars. The sword throw is very powerful so make sure you use it to safely take down enemies from distance when you obtain it. Walkthrough: Step 1: Change the difficulty to Easy in the Main Menu, and then play the game up to the Stage 3 boss, taking note of the missable trophies Play through the game up until you get the trophy for reaching the Stage 3 boss. You do not need to kill the Stage 3 boss. Make sure that along the way you're grabbing as many coins as possible and also using the vending machines so you get the trophies for 40 coins and for buying 5 hearts. Also ensure you hit a homeless guy on the first screen and kill a Laser Eye enemy. Once you reach the Stage 3 boss, exit back to the Main Menu. At the end of this step, you will have earned the following: Not good Combo Time What's this yellow thing? I've a lot of these I'm rich now Recovering Damaged Over-Damaged What kind of sorcery is this? Why is he hitting me with a tree? This is not a bow Hamburger-Time Exploding balls Is he even human? After reaching the boss of Stage 1, you should obtain the final trophy needed for the Platinum. At the end of this step, you will have earned the following: With all my skills! Platinum Barbarian
  7. I found a 2 was about right for this. I did the Hard trophy first, and finished it without realising there was a throwing dagger move (which would've made it much easier!).
  8. Gave it a 3, it's still a sub 1 hour platinum for most people, but a bit harder than the usual Ratalaika game due to the controls (and RNG with the enemy tanks and how accurate they decide to be).
  9. Thanks for the guide. I didn't read it before starting, and had actually played most of the game before realizing there was an option to select a different character other than the default one! I had a lot of fun with it anyway, there was probably 4 or 5 levels that I felt were extremely difficult (30 and 49 took me a while), but it's really addictive and I didn't mind spending time beating them.
  10. This is going to vary massively from individual to individual due to the skill needed to beat a lot of the levels, and there's also some luck needed to get favourable spawns to beat some of them regardless of how good you are. I think it took me between 10-15 hours total.
  11. Somewhere between a 7 and 8, there's some ridiculously hard levels in here, spent a couple of hours beating some of them. Would have preferred a 'sensitivity' option in the game as well, so you could toggle how sensitive the analogue stick is.
  12. Buggy in what way? I finished the PS4 + Vita versions in 10/15 minutes without any bugs, none that I noticed anyway.
  13. There's a couple of tricky trophies towards the end that probably ramps this up to a 3, but nothing that you won't be able to get past after a few retries.

  15. My thoughts were that the 'Portal' you walk past right before the bonfire scene begins is a way to change his mind about taking his life, but by walking past it, the protagonist is deciding life is not worth continuing. The bonfire scene is a kind of a version of 'Hell' imo, given how everything is in complete darkness and has a kind of sombre tone to it. I think the 'voice' is basically telling him that the people there are others that have committed suicide, and they're now stuck there since they have ended their 'real' lives and have no way of making things better for themselves. The 'voice' is telling him he will regret it as he will become another of those people, but he's either decided on committing suicide or doesn't understand what the voice is trying to tell him. I might be totally wrong, it's just the way I interpreted the end.

  19. For me it was a 2. Thought it was going to be grindier than it turned out to be, in reality you can finish every challenge in a tomb in 2 runs (first time taking it slow for the high score + misc challenges, then second time just run through everything for the speedrun challenge). If the 'Reload Checkpoint' feature wasn't in the game, then this would've been much tougher. As it is, you can just use that whenever you mess up, either to maintain your multiplier, or redo a section you did too slowly if doing the speedrun challenge.
  20. Much easier than I expected. Did my first playthrough on Crushing, only bits that I spent any real time on were the APC and Heli encounters, but even they weren't particularly hard. I found in both of these sections it was easier to just alert the whole area straight away, and let the enemies run to you rather than try and stealth them. There's a rock just to the left of where you slide into the area in the APC encounter where you can literally bait the whole area to come and attack you (other than the RPG enemy, but you can still kill him from here with a long range gun). Similarly, there's a building on the right hand side of the Heli section which is relatively safe, and all the enemies (except the snipers) will just funnel into you if you play it right. Fun game anyway. But if you've done Brutal on UC1-3 or Grounded mode in TLoU, you'll find this a piece of cake.
  21. Gameplay time for me was about 8 or 9 hours I think, and I had to replay some days several times due to messing up a few trophies.
  22. Can definitely be done in less than 5 hours if you follow the guide on here and don't deviate from it at all.
  23. Very annoying stage, I think it took me the same amount of time to get Cool on stage 4 alone, than it took me to get every other trophy/Cool mode done. My advice: - To get into Cool mode, your best chance seems to be in the first 2 bars of the song. If you don't get into Cool by then, I found it was more efficient to just restart. - The way I found semi-consistent at getting into Cool mode, was to try and press each of the button prompts just before you're supposed to, and then for the last 2 buttons on each bar (the L1 and R1), basically press R1 into L1 on each prompt. E.g. On the first R1, press R1 and L1 immediately after you've pressed R1. Then on the L1 prompt after that, press L1 into R1. And do the same on the next bar. - Don't get me wrong, this is not 100% consistent, sometimes you will get 0 points for doing this, but a lot of the time it'll give you 80/90 points, and doing this on the first two bars will be enough to get into Cool mode. - When you are in Cool mode, go clockwise around the controller pressing each button twice and then move onto the next button. So go x2 > x2 > x2 > x2 > x2 > x2, and then keep doing this cycle over and over. Here's my video of the successful attempt I had where I did the above. [ame] [/ame]
