I'm not trying to be rude or disrespectful to you, but yes I believe it does make you naive. Things always start small, yes today it may be only a few additional guidelines, but as I said previously, what happens when governments see that we are willing to accept the additional rules, then they add a few more, then a few more after that.
I'm not familiar with Korea's history, but before the country was split in two, I'm sure the people of the North could never have imaged what freedoms they would have to surrender, and I'm guessing all of those "guidelines" didn't come in over night.
