Platinum Difficulty Rating
johnmgd replied to Slamma's topic in SpongeBob Squarepants: Battle for Bikini Bottom - Rehydrated
Voted 10 due to major game-breaking glitches that will never be fixed. If you choose to try for the platinum anyways, be aware you might need to replay the entire shitty game dozens of times while praying that you don't get fucked by one random spatula not counting as obtained. The time I wasted on 1.5 playthroughs wasn't even fun, just tedious and frustrating. -
The Mimic Tear Ashes don't come from the Mimic Tear boss itself (go figure). https://eldenring.wiki.fextralife.com/Mimic+Tear+Ashes

The game worked fine for several hours, I got around 20 trophies then it started freezing when I fast traveled. I had to go to the home screen and force close and restart the game. At first it was only occasional but within a few more hours, it froze every single time. I Googled it and found some troubleshooting tips, I tried everything except safe mode + rebuild database (I'd rather not mess around with that on my precious PS5 lol). Some of the suggestions worked briefly but then it started happening again so I just switched back to my trusty old PS4. I just got the platinum and never had the problem again.

Two Trophies Right on Target and Bullseye needs help
johnmgd replied to Rbvols1's topic in Far Cry Primal
In case you haven't gotten the trophy yet (or for future trophy hunters), there's a guide in the individual trophy page: https://www.playstationtrophies.org/game/far-cry-primal/trophy/134716-right-on-target.html -
Voted 2, I was getting frustrated with the stuntmasta trophy, I tried a bunch of times with different methods then found this video and got it first try. I would've voted 1 but even on easy difficulty, the AI cars are pretty good.

Got Plat, don't need help, good luck have fun.

6-10 hours using a guide. Without using a guide could take anywhere from 20 to 40 plus hours, I think it would vary a lot from person to person. I started off not using one, but about 4 hours into the game I realized it's a big map for an indie game, there's a ton of quests and there are many times where it's really difficult to figure out where to go and what to do. You could also miss a lot of trophies by playing blind, requiring more playthroughs.

2/10 if you use a guide (there's a good one on xboxachievements.org), maybe a 4/10 without. And that's only because some of the quests and trophies are pretty vague, not because you need serious gaming skills. Awesome game BTW, I love the art style and graphics.

Edited because I got the platinum, good luck fellow trophy hunters!

I voted a 3, the hardest part is the bosses but they're not bad. There's a lot of grinding/farming, but that's pretty easy once you learn to use the island creator. I almost voted a 4 because of the Two of Each trophy, that one took me many attempts. There's a lot of conflicting information out there, some people say you only need small crabs, snakes & boars but I couldn't get the trophy with just those. I had small crabs, giant crabs, snakes, boars and hogs, then sailed about 20 feet on a sunny day and the trophy popped.

I just got the platinum and I really enjoyed the game. I would love to support the developers and get the DLC trophies but I don't wanna buy them if they're super hard. There's no mention of them in the trophy guide here or on XBA.

Multiplayer is a little strange in this game, when you see the message that someone joined, you have to rest at a checkpoint to make them spawn into your game. And you can't use the checkpoint immediately after seeing the message, it takes like 20-30 seconds. Also, using the console's rest mode screws up multiplayer. And yes playing the game solo is pretty difficult, especially in the beginning. I read somewhere that the enemies scale to your highest upgraded piece of gear, so if you have a +10 gun but your armor is only +3, you're going to take a lot of damage. Likewise, if your armor is higher than your gun, you won't deal much damage.

2/10 with guides, maybe a 3 without. I got stumped on 3 parts, 2 of which would have been easily solved just by looking closer, or looking around. Levels 1 & 3 have pretty strict time requirements for the speed trophies but they're not bad. I played through blind (except for getting stuck 3 times), then mopped up the remaining trophies and it took me under 7 hours. Using guides, you could probably do it in 4-5. Awesome game by the way, the best indie game I've ever played!
