  1. Nice, you look pretty close to the Oreshika platinum from my perspective, but in reality you have quite a lot left, right? It's the only game I'm playing right now and I'm hoping to get it done by the end of February, lol. I see. How prevalent is that stripping mechanic in Ar Tonelico, something you can avoid, minimize? Even so, I still feel compelled to buy it, lol. Maybe I can buy it now and play it many years later when I've built enough tolerance for fanservice πŸ˜… Only been watching anime for less than 2 years. Actually, speaking of games I'm half-interested in but pushed away by fanservice; the Hyperdimnesion Neptunia series is one that I decided to pass on. Those games didn't look interesting enough to me to look past the fanservice. However, the spin-off game Super Neptunia RPG gave me a totally different vibe. The 2D artstyle looks gorgeous to me, and from looking at gameplay and trailers it seems tame in comparison to the mainline games. I kinda want to play it. So let me know if anyone here thinks making Super Neptunia RPG my first entry in the series is fine/weird/bad/whatever Noted. Weird doesn't necessarily mean bad though πŸ‘€
  2. You and anyone else is very welcome to chime in I just tagged those people because I saw they had gotten the platinum in Ar Tonelico according to this leaderboard's archive. And yeah, Oreshika is a very intricate game with a lot of different systems. But having played it now for what feels like 30+ hours, I think I have a good enough grasp on it and I'm having lots of fun with it, grinding and cultivating better and better warriors, and making sure the secret arts and heirlooms are inherited.
  3. I've been having so much fun with Oreshika: Tainted Bloodlines on Vita these past few weeks. Has no one here played it? I used Crtl+F in the archives but it didn't turn up any results, so either no one has played it, or at the very least, no one here has gotten the plat, which to be fair is quite a long one. I'm in a bit of a dilemma right now. The fact that certain RPGs are simply stranded on PS3/Vita has made them more appealing to me, made them more important to buy and "rescue". One of those games is Ar Tonelico Qoga on PS3. I found a copy on Ebay that's relatively fair priced, for a game that's unavailable digitally. The only thing giving me pause is the "fanservice" in the game. I'm generally against "fanservice", so I have doubts if this is a game for me or not. Do any of you here that have played it have any opinions, advice for me? Is the "fanservice" too much in this game? I've heard positive things about the story and characters, and if I were to play it, I'd read a summary of the first two games (from PS2) beforehand. And then afterwards I'd probably keep my eye on Ar Nosurge on Vita to continue playing in this universe ,if I were to be so keen. @fisty123@Arturia@AppleKratue@Archavia@Hogger@neosnake101@Shirou@Tosmasta00(sorry for tagging you all!)
  4. The site worked for me. It's sad that they don't include PS3 and Vita, so it's like I played almost no games this year according to the Wrap Up, lol. Total Hours Played: 71 (0 online) Games played: 6 (Batman: Arkham Knight (24h), Life is Strange 2 (18h), Life is Strange: Before the Storm (11h), Bridge Constructor (10h), Minesweeper Genius (7h)) Total trophies earned: 1099 (28 , 123 , 278 , 670 ) PS+ games claimed: 37/37 So there you have it. Got 1099 trophies and 28 plats from 6 games.
  5. I just want to report that the "server shutdown" for Oreshika: Tainted Bloodlines that supposedly happened this Christmas doesn't seem to have had any deleterious effect on anything. You can still scan existing QR codes to get overpowered characters and equipment, and other players' worlds still do update and you can visit their land, which is quite beneficial on your way to the platinum, for various trophies. I'm playing the game now and I have no idea what the shutdown was supposed to shut down.
  6. I have no idea which is the game and which is the platinum title, but congrats anyways!!
  7. Microsoft is like a cancer in the gaming industry. With that kind of money they can buy anything. Bethesda and Activision in a span of just over a year. Who's it going to be in 2023? You'd hope they'd stop here but there's no reason to believe so. I feel that this is going to be disastrous in the long-term. MS is pushing hard to take away games from PS and for gaming to go all Netflix, a direction that I'm very much against. Feel like it's just going to encourage players to not buy games anymore, and developers will start developing games with the safety of "it's going to be on game pass anyway, so we're going to fine whether it's good or not". And this major brute force acquisition is going to make Sony respond in some way. Especially if MS is going to take away their biggest selling games. I mean, they've already responded so with Spartacus. Hope they won't feel compelled to buy Square Enix or something like that, but at the same time also feel like they have to, lest MS do it before them. β€œWe’re investing deeply in world-class content, community and the cloud to usher in a new era of gaming that puts players and creators first and makes gaming safe, inclusive and accessible to all.” Yeah, accessible to all except Playstation players, fucking pricks. I know this is a very pessimistic take, but I just hate everything about this. Even though the removal of future Activison games affects me basically none. Spyro and Crash is the only thing they have that I'm sad to see go, personally.
  8. Nice. I got the digital version, which was on sale for just Β£2.39. And Stick It to the Man was the sole reason I bought it, I really liked that game too and it's the same developer. If I also like Flipping Death, I will turn my attention to Lost in Random, their next game.
  9. Flipping Death (PS4) Grass Cutter (PS4/Vita) Kick-Ass (PS3) LEGO The Hobbit (Vita) LEGO The Lord of the Rings (Vita) Lumines: Electric Symphony (Vita) Mind Zero (Vita) Murasaki Baby (Vita) NekoBuro: Cats Block (Vita) Rage (PS3) The Bureau: XCOM Declassified (PS3) The Turing Test (PS4) Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Trilogy (PS3) Velocity Ultra (Vita) Too many..
  10. Why are there two types of trophy notifications? Is it something you choose or the game? (I don't have a PS5)
  11. Sorry to hear about your friend. Good luck, and I hope your stay in the Vita world will be enjoyable and memorable! Killzone: Mercenary was the first Vita game I played and it's still the most graphically impressive Vita game I've played. A great and competent FPS and a worthy addition to the Killzone series. Although the platinum is a grind, both online and offline. Severed is another favorite of mine. A dungeon crawler specifically developed for the Vita, it uses the touchscreen brilliantly and has a great artstyle. I wanted to say Freedom Wars, but now you need another Vita (for ad-hoc) to obtain the plat. Awesome game nonetheless. Then you can't go wrong with the Sly trilogy and the Ratchet & Clank trilogy.
  12. Still playing Oreshika on Vita. Going very slowly, I barely played anything during Christmas and New Years. The server shutdown has made a couple of trophies more annoying and time consuming, so yay for that. But the game is fun.
  13. It's just some silly thing in my head. The Vita is rare now, and many games on it are considered rare or obscure. And that just makes it more special, I dunno. But I also just enjoy playing on the Vita. It's a different feel than PS3/4. I've added FIFA 15 to my list of games to buy, and you're to blame for that! FIFA is about the only sports game I'm into, so I'll pass on Madden and MLB. But you made me remember about Farming Simulator. They have three games exclusive to Vita (Farmin Sim 14, 16 and 18). I've never played any Farming Sim and never been particularly interested in them, but now I'm starting to consider getting them lol.... 14 and 18 are delisted but 16 is still on the store. I do have Farming Sim 19 from PS+ on PS4, I should probably play that first πŸ˜…
  14. These are the one I found by looking at my list, might be more that I missed. Rather depressing to go through. Burnout: Paradise Darksiders II Drive Club FIFA 11 FIFA 12 FIFA 13 FIFA 14 FIFA 15 (PS3) FIFA 15 (PS4) Frozen Synapse Prime Grand Theft Auto V (PS3) Hardware: Rivals Hitman: Absolution Killzone 2 Killzone 3 LittleBigPlanet LittleBigPlanet 2 Mad Max MotorStorm: Apocalypse Portal 2 The Last of Us Uncharted 2: Among Thieves
  15. Thanks. You mean for which games I buy/want to buy? Well, I do intend on playing the games I buy (although I know playing them all is basically mission impossible at this point), instead of just collecting for the sake of it. So, it's mostly just games that I would like to play and have on my profile. And a game being Vita exclusive or having a separate Vita list, makes me more interested in it for some reason. Like it feels more prestigious or something. Usually I'm a bit of a picky gamer, but I become way more lax for the Vita games, lol. But I will still avoid certain games, like the fighting genre, unaesthetic retro-style games, multiplayer-heavy games, games with unobtainable trophies or 500+ hour completion time etc. I hadn't even thought of FIFA. I thought they were all unobtainable, but checking now, it seems FIFA 15 is offline only on Vita, so I might actually consider getting it... Would be kinda cool in fact, since FIFA 15 is the only FIFA game I've stacked (on PS3 and PS4). It'd be nice to have all three stacks. I can say though that when a Vita game I want is/becomes delisted, then it becomes more urgent that I buy it physically and "rescue" it... which seems to be the case with FIFA 15
