Overview:

This guide is meant to supplement the existing LEGO Dimension: Doctor Who DLC - Trophy Guide & Roadmap. While the trophy guide only requires a single Minikit, the complete list is shown for those who simply want to get them all. The related trophy is:

Collect any Minikit within the 'The Dalek Extermination of Earth' level

There are 10 Minikits located in this level. It should be noted that you can use TARDIS at any time to go to a previously visited area's TARDIS pad. You enter TARDIS by pressing :triangle: and then, once the character goes inside, press and hold :triangle: to enter the inter-dimensional control room within TARDIS. The locations that you can travel to are unlocked as you progress in the story-line. The Minikits are listed below in the order that you can grab them while following the storyline.

There are a large number of abilities that LEGO Dimensions supports. This guide will indicate which abilities are necessary to retrieve each of the Minikits below; some will require more than one. A complete list of who or what has particular abilities is located here: LINK

Textual Guide

Minikit #1

Location: Central London (2025)

Required abilities: Vine Cut, Relic Detector, Grapple

From the beginning of the level, proceed up the stairs and at the top of the stairs look to your left. There is a rhinoceros-looking character trapped in some vines. Use Vine Cut to free it. After it has been freed, it will run to the far right side of the area near some rubble. Use a Relic Detector to reveal a grapple point in the rubble. Use Grapple to remove all of the rubble. After the rhinoceros-looking character uses the now-revealed teleporter the Minikit will appear.

Minikit #2

Location: Central London (2015)

Required abilities: Sonar Smash, Magic, Silver LEGO Blowup

You must destroy 3 Glowing Ball objects to collect this Minikit.

Glowing Ball #1/3: Right next to the TARDIS pad that you use to enter this place in time is a red telephone booth. Use Sonar Smash to shatter the glass.

Glowing Ball #2/3: On the right side of the area is a glowing-blue-stars box. Use Magic to empty its contents.

Glowing Ball #3/3: Jump over the orange barricade on the right side and destroy the large gray structure to reveal a silver LEGO object. Use Silver LEGO Blowup on it.

Prisoner: Clara Oswald

Location: Central London (2015)

Required abilities: Growth, Magic

The far left side of this area contains a growth spot (dirt area with a very small green plant in it). Use Growth on it to grow a flower which produces LEGO pieces that you can assemble. This creates a portal artifact power piece. Hit it to put the greenish hue on your screen and then run back to the right into the main area where you are supposed to grow the tree for the story-line. The hidden artifact is located in the middle of the street that is north of the tree location. Once you see it, repeatedly tap :circle: to start a cut-scene. Use Magic on the 3 glowing-blue-stars boulders to attack the robot. This will cause its head to spin around. Use Silver LEGO Blowup on its face to defeat it and free Clara Oswald.

Minikit #3

Location: Brick arch (2025)

Required abilities: None

The second area begins with a shiny silver LEGO car next to an apartment building. This has a Minikit that you can clearly see through the lower right window:

The story-line requires you to use TARDIS to change things in the past. The white outline in the picture below is where the story-line wants you to place the window opening. Instead of doing that, use the crane one more time to move the window to the lower right room where the Minikit exists in the future.

After placing the window, use TARDIS to go back in time to where you were previously. You can now access the Minikit.

Minikit #5 (Poster #1 and #2)

Location: Brick arch (1895)

Required abilities: None

You must destroy 5 Palace Theater posters to collect this Minikit.

Poster #1/5: To the immediate left of the TARDIS pad location.

Poster #2/5: From the TARDIS pad, head over to the right and slightly down. The poster is on the wall by the fruit stand.

Minikit #5 (Poster #3)

Location: I.M.Foreman scrapyard (1895)

Required abilities: None

You must destroy 5 Palace Theater posters to collect this Minikit.

Poster #3/5: It is directly to the right of the TARDIS pad.

Minikit #4

Location: I.M.Foreman scrapyard (1895)

Required abilities: Dig, Magic

This location is unlocked within TARDIS after completing the zigzag puzzle in 2025 to gain access to the next area. Once in this location, use Dig on the floating paw prints area to unearth a robot head. Use Magic on the glowing-blue-stars head and place it on top of the robot lying on the ground. After that is complete, destroy all of the items next to the robot on both sides and assemble the broken pieces. You should create both a left and right arm. Use Magic on the arms to attach them to the robot. Now that the robot is functional it will drop the Minikit out of its head onto the ground.

Minikit #5 (Poster #4 and #5)

Location: Central London (1895)

Required abilities: None

You must destroy 5 Palace Theater posters to collect this Minikit. This location is unlocked within TARDIS after taking down both energy shields and moving to the next area.

Poster #4/5: It is directly to the left of the TARDIS pad.

Poster #5/5: It is located to the far north of the main square, on the right wall.

Minikit #6

Location: Central London (1895)

Required abilities: Laser, Relic Detector, Master Builder, Grapple

On the right side of the area are 6 frozen stalagmites; melt them using the Laser ability. Assemble the resultant pieces. Smash up the top right green overhang until it drops out a bunch of LEGO pieces that you can assemble. This should activate the large snowman in the area so that a Relic Detector can work on it to expose a grapple hook. Use Grapple to expose some more pieces and then assemble them as well. You should now have 3 sections highlighted with purple. Use a Master Builder to finish building the stagecoach. After that is complete the Minikit will appear.

Minikit #7

Location: The Black Archive

Required abilities: Growth, Relic Detector, Laser, Boomerang

After coming down the elevator as part of the story-line in the Skaro Tower area, you will see a molten pile of bricks to the right. Use Growth on the bricks to cool them off. After they are cool, assemble the pieces to build a TARDIS pad. Use it and you will be taken to The Black Archive.

Head behind the TARDIS pad and use a Relic Detector in the corner. After this step, use a Laser on the picture in the top back right corner to reveal a Boomerang panel. After using it the Minikit will be thrown out by a Cyberman.

Minikit #8

Location: The Black Archive

Required abilities: Grapple, Magic, Laser, Silver LEGO Blowup, Master Builder

In the main room, use Grapple, Magic, Laser, and Silver LEGO Blowup to bust up everything and construct a toy pad color puzzle. Solve the puzzle (the solution is on the computer monitor) to unlock the vault. Use a Master Builder to construct a yellow car. After it drives off it will leave a Minikit behind.

Minikit #9

Location: The Black Archive

Required abilities: Stealth, Magic

Head to the far left side of this area and activate Stealth to get past the lasers. Push the green and red switch to knock down the grandfather clock. Use Magic on the fallen pieces to uncover the Minikit.

Minikit #10

Location: Skaro Tower

Required abilities: Electricity

As part of the story-line you will be required to shut down a green toxic waterfall from two pipes in order to continue. After doing that, you are required to use TARDIS in stealth mode to proceed. Halfway through this area is an electricity capacitor. Using Electricity on it will make the final Minikit appear.
