It won't make much sense to you if you don't speak Japanese, but then, when has the Metal Gear series ever made sense anyway? With Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance getting its third DLC with the Blade Wolf side story missions in Japan today, the launch trailer has been released, showing the four-legged machine in action.
Telling the story of the LQ-84i Blade Wolf, the trailer shows how he goes from being Mistral's faithful pet having being reactivated by fellow Desperado, Sundowner, to becoming the all-round badass lupine robot that you see in Metal Gear Rising's main story.
Playing as the Blade Wolf himself, you'll be able to wield his chainsaw tail and launch white hot daggers at foes, before engaging in an all-new boss battle. Out today in Japan, Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance's Blade Wolf DLC will be out on May 14th in North America and on May 15th in Europe for €6.99.
Check out the Japanese vid below. We'll have the English language one as soon as it's available.
