Here’s a new trailer for Deadly Premonition: The Director’s Cut.

Splashed with press accolades and drenched in the game’s surreal imagery, it’s as good an introduction as you’ll ever get to Hidetaka “Swery” Suehiro’s bizarre survival horror title. Seriously, Deadly Premonition takes weird to a whole new level.

Check out the vid below. Deadly Premonition: The Director’s Cut is out in Europe on 26th and North America on the 30th.

  • So bad.... yet so good!
  • My body is ready...isn't that right, Zach?
  • A game that so Bad, its amazingly Good
  • I haven't played it, but since the DC is coming out, I would like to try it out.
  • This edition will have updated controls, updated HD visuals, more than 100 improvements, PS Move support, some downloadable content, and additional scenarios
  • I remember seeing this on Xbox a while ago but never decided to pick it up because I hadn't seen any trailers or promotions in my local GAME store. But then again the same applies for this one. Might invest in this when the price drops though
  • Never played this before, I'm getting a Twin Peaks vibe from the trailer. Think I'll have to pick this up for sure.
  • @7 They've stated several times that this is heavily inspired by Twin Peaks, you definitely need to play it if you like Twin Peaks(Alan Wake is also inspired by Twin Peaks, so play that if you haven't as well)
  • @8 I thought that Alan Wake was more inspired by Stephen King novels. I think it would have been an awesome book.
  • @9 The story could probably be Stephen King, but the locations and characters are definitely Twin Peaks.
  • Ehhhh. It looks interesting, but I'm not committed to spending $40 on a novelty game that may or may not be any good.
  • Twin Peaks, that place that's just like Hooters?
  • Alan Wake was inspired by disappoint. Son. Wonder what the DC will do with trophies, it would be really cool if it got a decent list and a Platinum. THe game has more content than a lot of other games that run around with a Platinum, so I don't see any excuse why it shouldn't.
  • @13 Inspired by disappoint? What? As for Director's Cut trophies, my bet is just on a translation of the Japanese trophies
  • I'm trying so hard to resist getting this but I don't think I'm going to be able to.
  • Bob is that you?
  • I've played through this on 360, nearly getting all the trading cards, and I look forward to doing it again.
