A new trailer for Mass Effect 3's Citadel DLC shows the Citadel under siege when Commander Shepard takes some time out for some rest and relaxation as instructed by Captain Anderson.

Invaded by armour-clad terrorists trying to kill Shepard, you'll reunite with all your old Normandy crew buddies to take on the threat in one final adventure. You'll only encounter certain characters if you've met them in the main game however, and there'll be romances to reignite or begin as you see fit.

Mass Effect 3: The Citadel is out tomorrow on the PlayStation Network for $14.99, and it's the biggest Mass Effect DLC yet.

  • For $15 is better be HUGE and I mean at least 15 hours.....
  • Sounds fun, Can't wait to play this on Wednesday
  • Ah, the Citadel...does this make it the fourth time its under attack?
  • Miranda is worth way more than 15$
  • I'm interested in this new DLC but $15 is pushing it, they seem to be pushing the price of DLC for all games up lately for the same amount of content. I mean, I understand it's a business but $60 a game is already breaking gamers wallets
  • Looks like a really good dlc. Tempted to go through the series again for a truly optimal run just for this.:)
  • EA are trying to boost DLC sales by giving away Mass Effect 3 on PS+, they are hopeing that as you get game for nothing, you wouldn't mind buying the overpriced DLC packs.
  • I would only pay that if the ending wasn't so gay. No matter what they add to the game the ending still blows. Ill watch it on Youtube to see what happens. Ill save my bread for a game that doesn't suck.
  • Those frames at 1:40 look eerily familiar to some 'being' out of Mass Effect 1. But how the bleep would that thing get transported to the Citadel?
  • id really like this, but i have a rule against unfairly priced dlc. which is why ive never bought dlc. seriously, 15$ is more than i payed for the game.
  • I just HAD to delete ALL my save files, I JUST HAD TO DELETE THEM BEFORE THIS CAME OUT. DOES ANYBODY KNOW HOW TO RECOVER DELETED FILES FROM MY PS3? PLEASE!
  • @11 You're fucked. Unless this is more than a few hours long, it's probably just another rip-off DLC. Hell, for a $15 add-on I'd expect a good 10 hours of gameplay, but knowing previous Mass Effect DLCs, this one probably won't be more than 4 or 5.
  • Does anyone know if there is trophies for this set of DLC? Im not going to bother if there isnt cause 15 bucks dont sound worth it to me.
  • Better be worth the price. Seems kind of expensive if it's as short as the others.
  • How much more punishment can the citadel possibly take... I am sure it will survive without my $15, come to think of it I already saved it a few times anyway!
  • Was that Fleet and Flotilla they were watching near the beginning? As painful as the price is (Omega was the same, and look how long that turned out to be) I'll still be getting this. I dont care how much everyone hates on the game, I still love you Mass Effect!
  • @16 squares like you are why its so expensive and short. They don't care if its quality they know all you kids will gobble it up and ask for thirds.
  • 9 achievements. Looks like it could be pretty lengthy, plus you have stuff you can do after the main missions.
  • $15 is nothing if you actually have a job.
  • @19 I agree I'm just happy there is more Mass Effect. Can't get enough of it.
  • My name is Commander Shephard and this is my favorite DLC on the Citadel.
  • @19, it's not about whether one can afford the DLC or not, it's whether the DLC is worth the $15 price tag.
  • at least your getting it at $15 we in england always get shafted with the price because they never use the exchange rates, they just give it us at a jacked up price. And as for those in europe, i really feel sorry for you guys, you get the worst of it. You can complain all you want, but you ARE getting it cheaper than anyone else.
  • It's bizarre how I bought full games for less money on release day. Papa y Yo, The Cave, Unfinished Swan, Tokyo Jungle ect. ... Then comes EA, takes an already existing game, records some dialogue and let's you run through a few more of the same hallways for an hour or two and dares to take 15 bucks for it. (Yes, that's an exaggeration, but still ...) That's why I was disappointed with the arrival dlc and still haven't bought the omega dlc. Price and content just don't match up at all, especially when you remember the game already had a "not"-cut-from-main-game-day-1-DLC. I COULD easily just pay it, it's not like I never wasted any money on less justifi- or reasonable stuff, but, come on, this is mothing but EA showing everyone the middle finger and saying: "We know you'll buy it anyway, that's why we CAN."
